This was the database our food bank used and it did its job but really needs some updating.
Pros: Oasis insight is a great data base that stores all of our clients who received food from us and also we track calfresh applications we submitted on behalf of the client.
Cons: The only use for this database was to store clients information. The database could be a bit more user friendly. The flow when entering information could improve.

Pros: I love this software. Checked out a lot of different software programs before choosing this one. I love being able to get info on clients quickly. Some people dont like adding dependents, but it is helpful for me to flag potential duplicate names and addresses
Cons: Sometimes I have trouble printing reports, but the support team is always quick to respond to my problems.

It is a very good solution to track team work and get insights.
Pros: This is the tool we use to monitor our operational team reviews, where we track workload and tasks. It gives very good visibility and is easy to digest.
Cons: It is a very powerful tool and it is easy to use. Strongly recommended to track small teams. It might not be as intuitive as it could if you are not used to this kind of apps.

Oasis Insight is able to provide the information needed to report to government funders. Overall good experience, though the program isn't the most user-friendly.
Pros: Organizations can collect a lot of data in Oasis Insight! The functionality is extensive and is able to collect data for all the major government funding sources.
Cons: This program takes some time to learn and isn't the most user-friendly for those who are less tech savvy.

An extremely labor intensive product to use for food pantry and client management. An Excel workbook is a cheaper solution and probably less complicated. This is coming from a database designer and user that almost never recommend Excel for this type of data application. We are looking for an alternate solution with 21st century user-interface, less bloated, easier to navigate, and generate reports. Don't fall for the starting at $20/month, it's more like starting at $60/month.
Pros: Web-based. Bar code reader. Client intake processing and reporting with a variety of other reporting available.
Cons: *Not* mobile device friendly. Web interface doesn't scale well to varying screen sizes, and the interface is extremely difficult to use on any mobile device (e.g.: tablet, etc.). Overall the user interface even on a desktop or laptop is bloated and difficult to navigate. Overall the inefficient design of the user interface impairs our ability to easily manage our clients and interactions with client shoppers. All kinds of reporting available, but we find many "canned" reports useless. When exporting a client list for contact purposes; either for general informational or food recall notification. You cannot just generate report the download/open results in Excel. Nope, we run the report in OASIS then wait for them to send us an email with a download link to access the Excel/CSV file. Really! *Lacking* a mobile app. No kiosk mode with easy to use client intake form. At the price we pay per year both features should be available.

Pros: Love using oasis. It really helps keep me on track when it comes to client management, quotes, etc.
Cons: Initial learning curve was a bit tricky, but once you learn the basics it's a very easy system.

Pros: The program helps to keep track of a data base that I would normally have to maintain myself.
Cons: It's slow and difficult to find customers who may have obtained services from another provider on the same day. This would show the customer is "double dipping".

I work specifically with identification and resolution of duplicate cases. It would be helpful if the case numbers used would appear anyplace the names are written. OI is a good program and works well for our purposes.
Pros: It generally works well although there are times when the program is sluggish.
Cons: The on screen format could use some updating please. The background of the screens for clients is grey and the writing for words in that area is white. It is very difficult to see clearly. In my opinion, a simple writing color change co9uld make it so much easier to read and much clearer. If the writing was darker in color it would be much better.

Pros: I like using oasis from a marketing perspective because it allows me to customize everything to our customer base. I can have email marketing blasts go out at specific times and target a specific group that will relate to the product being advertised.
Cons: Took a while to learn but was easy with a little practice.

This sofware has made a big difference in the way we process our food bank clients and also gives the information for the required government reporting.
Pros: Easy to register the food bank clients and not that many screens for each one.
Cons: Since the "Add Assistance" screen is the last one, sometimes you can forget to do it and it shouldn't let you proceed without tha tlast step. I have to some times go back and make sure I did it.

Using the Oasis software has been tremendously helpful with organizing my client's information.
Pros: Easy to use and it complies all of my customer info. into one location
Cons: I've only used the software for a short period of time and so far I haven't found any thing that I dislike. It meets my program needs.

Overall, very good!
Pros: Easy to use, multiple functions in one software (client info, stats, ID cards, etc.)
Cons: I don't like it when putting in client information and the program finds a possible duplicate - when you view the possible duplication, you can't go back to the one you were putting in - you have to start it over.

Using Oasis is very easy, instructing others on its use is also easy because it is simple and straight forward. I would recommend this platform to any organization to collect and track client data.
Pros: The program is very easy to use and navigate. Able to sort cases easily and accurately. The agency was able to customize our for to fit our needs easily. Very easy to add and edit cases as needed.
Cons: I honestly have not had a problem using this application.

We use Oasis to track and print out reports for Mobile Market and it has been fairly easy.
Pros: It is very user friendly and the layout is easy to navigate through. I love that you can scan the bar-code and the name easily comes on the screen. It is very simple to add and remove people from the roster.
Cons: Sometime when searching for a person's name manually, you have to ask specific questions to pin-point the right person.
