Pros: Best UI, great features promised (if only they worked/delivered). They offer free implementation which feels like the right move (but again, if only their provided implementation resources actually knew the system and were more competent at migrating data).
Cons: $90

Overall, it's been a solid tool. It’s reliable, doesn’t lag or crash, and I trust it with my data. It covers the essentials well, which is really what matters. I wouldn’t say it blew me away, but it definitely makes my day-to-day accounting tasks smoother. If they keep improving on the reporting and integrations, I can see myself sticking with it long-term.
Pros: Honestly, what I liked most is how straightforward it is. As an accountant, I’ve used a bunch of different systems over the years, and DualEntry just makes sense. The layout is clean, and the double-entry format is exactly what you'd expect no unnecessary bells and whistles. It does what it's supposed to do without making me jump through hoops.
Cons: I’d say the reporting features could use some work. They’re functional, but not as flexible or detailed as I’d like, especially when I need to customize reports for clients. Also, the integrations with other tools feel a bit limited. Would be nice if it played nicer with more payroll or invoicing apps.

Overall, DualEntry is a reliable and well-designed platform that streamlines workflows effectively. The responsive support team and smooth system performance make it easy to use, and while a few enhancements like more customization and onboarding tooltips would be helpful, the platform delivers a solid experience.
Pros: DualEntry has a clean, intuitive UI that makes navigation easy, and the support team is very responsive. Once set up, the system runs smoothly and handles workflows effectively. While a bit more customization and tooltips for first-time users would improve onboarding, the platform is thoughtfully designed and works great overall."
Cons: Customization options are limited, and adding tooltips for first-time users would make onboarding smoother.

We switched to DualEntry because our previous system slowed us down with too much manual work and limited automation. Since transitioning, we’ve seen a huge improvement in overall efficiency—especially in AP, reconciliations, and monthly close. Tasks that used to take hours now take minutes, thanks to the automation and smart integrations. It also reduced errors and improved visibility across entities, which has helped our team stay more organized and proactive. DualEntry has definitely made our finance operations leaner, faster, and more scalable. We’ve integrated DualEntry with Stripe, Bill.com, Gusto, and QuickBooks (for historical data access). The integrations were smooth and helped us centralize financial operations—especially for payments, payroll, and cash reconciliation. It’s great not having to jump between platforms to complete everyday finance tasks.
Pros: What I like best about DualEntry is how it feels like a modern, intelligent upgrade from other accounting systems—especially for companies managing multiple entities, currencies, or high-volume transactions. DualEntry makes multi-entity accounting effortless. The built-in automation for AP, cash matching, and revenue recognition eliminates so many manual steps. I also appreciated how seamlessly it integrated with other platforms—something that usually requires third-party apps in other accounting systems. The interface is cleaner, faster, and more intuitive, and DualEntry’s AI Copilot adds another layer of accuracy and insight that is not available in other software.
Cons: One area for improvement would be onboarding support for non-accountant users. While the interface is intuitive, adding e-learning materials—like guided walkthroughs, video tutorials, or a searchable help center—would make it easier for team members without an accounting background to get up to speed quickly. This could be especially helpful for startups or small teams where finance responsibilities are shared.

DualEntry has really helped simplify the workflow. It completely removes the need for manual computation of depreciation and amortization, which used to take a lot of time and effort. I also love how the approval process works -everything that needs review goes straight to the inbox, there's no need to jump between different tools or tabs. Plus, the ability to integrate with many other apps is a big help!
Pros: DualEntry is all-inclusive and intuitive interface that makes day-to-day accounting tasks easier to manage. I love the automation features - once fixed asset and prepayment details are entered, the system automatically handles depreciation and amortization schedules, removing the need for manual calculations in Excel. Also, the built-in accounting intelligence adds an extra layer of smart insights that supports faster and more informed decisions.
Cons: $91

Overall, DualEntry makes life easier for finance teams, especially if your company is growing or handling multiple businesses. It’s not yet as established as older systems, but the potential is there, and it keeps improving.
Pros: For me, what stands out is how easy it is to set up and use, even for those who are new to accounting systems. The layout is simple, and I like that you can adjust the dashboard depending on what you need to monitor — whether it’s collections, expenses, or cash balances. One big plus is the live bank connection feature. It saves time because you can see your cash position without logging into each bank account one by one. It also works well for companies with different subsidiaries because the reports can be viewed by entity, so it’s less hassle to consolidate.
Cons: Some areas, like integrations and multi-currency features, still need polishing, especially for businesses dealing with complex setups or specific tax requirements. I’d suggest double-checking local tax compliance, just to be sure.

It has a user-friendly interface. Even without training, it is easy to quickly navigate the system. It supports automating and streamlining tasks.
Pros: 1. CSV and Excel File Imports Many accounting systems allow only CSV imports, which can be restrictive in terms of flexibility and data formatting. Supporting Excel files (e.g., .xls or .xlsx) is a big plus, since Excel files can hold more complex data (such as multiple sheets, formulas, and even conditional formatting), making the import process easier and more versatile. 2. Amortization Feature Amortization is a core function in accounting, especially for loans, leases, or capital assets. The ability to automate amortization calculations and track them over time can significantly reduce the manual effort involved.
Cons: The lock feature does not require passsword. Also, only the amortization feature for loans were available. It would be nice to add this feature also for loans.

My overall experience with DualEntry has been very positive. As someone who regularly handles AP/AR tasks, I appreciate how the system simplifies transaction recording and speeds up reconciliation. It’s user-friendly, especially for someone experienced with tools like QuickBooks and Excel. The reports are clear and easy to export, which really helps with my accounting deliverables. Overall, DualEntry made my workflow more efficient and saved me time on manual data entry.
Pros: What I like the most is that everything you need in the company's accounting system is already there—it's fast, user-friendly, and very efficient, especially in reporting and bank reconciliation. All business transactions can be accessed in real time, so you won’t have to look for anything else.
Cons: As someone who has used less developed systems, I find this one very impressive. I didn’t see anything to dislike. However, the cost of implementing it could be a major concern, especially for small and growing companies, since it will definitely require a significant investment.

My overall experience with DualEntry has been excellent. It’s user-friendly, powerful, and reliable. It helped simplify tasks that used to take hours, especially reconciliations and tracking across different entities. The integrations are a big plus, and the support team is responsive. I’d definitely recommend it to any finance team looking for a smart accounting solution.
Pros: I love how organized everything is from payables and receivables to approvals and reports. The bulk upload feature saves a lot of time, and the dashboards give a clear real-time view of outstanding balances. I also appreciate how well it integrates with platforms like Ramp and HubSpot, which helps reduce manual work and keeps everything in sync.
Cons: So far, everything has worked smoothly for me. DualEntry is packed with features and feels well built. There’s nothing I dislike. The platform delivers exactly what it promises and more.

It was an amazing application that I like to use for everyday transactions. A kind of financial application not only for huge crowd of users, but also applicable to a sole proprietorship user that can handle all facet of business information.
Pros: What is very useful in DualEntry that I wasn't able to see in other software is the integration of importation transactions in the accounting system. It will be of best use to those businesses that have frequent importation transactions and included in their usual operating cycle.
Cons: Not in the term of dislike but more on to enhance is to provide a concrete videos on its usage and cycle that interconnected with the result. Like from General Ledger to Financial Statement.

My experience with DualEntry has been very positive. It offers a smooth, intuitive interface that makes accounting tasks much easier to manage. The AI features save time by simplifying data entry and categorization, and the system integrates well with our existing tools. While there are a few areas for improvement, such as more customizable reports, the platform is reliable, efficient, and well-suited for growing businesses. It’s a great fit for teams looking for a smart and streamlined accounting solution.
Pros: The best thing about DualEntry is its ease of use combined with smart automation. The AI-powered features like auto-categorization of transactions and entry suggestions significantly reduce manual work. It also integrates well with other systems, making our workflow much more efficient. Plus, the clean and intuitive interface makes it easy to onboard new users quickly.
Cons: While DualEntry works well overall, there’s still room to grow. The report customization features could be more flexible, and we’ve noticed occasional delays in bank feed syncing, though they’re usually resolved quickly. Adding a mobile app in the future would make it even more convenient for teams on the go.

My overall experience with DualEntry has been positive. The platform is intuitive, efficient, and packed with helpful features like smart integrations and AI tools. It simplifies accounting tasks and saves time, though some features like dashboard customization can still improve.
Pros: I liked DualEntry's user-friendly interface, real-time dashboard, smart integrations, and AI features that streamline tasks, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy in financial management.
Cons: What I liked least about DualEntry is the limited customization options in the dashboard and occasional syncing delays with third-party integrations.

We were looking for an accounting program that could manage the intricacies of multientity consolidation while still feeling as intuitive as Xero. Finding dualentry at that time was just a stroke of luck. During the migration their crew went above and beyond everything went smoothly and we truly felt supported the entire time. Even now whenever we encounter a problem their help is prompt in responding.
Pros: integrations are among my favorite features and they make linking our whole finance stack easier than before we used this platform, to be honest the entire experience has been amazing and we wholeheartedly endorse dualentry's team
Cons: Even though some features are still being developed, things have been going smoothly so i have no dislikes

We wanted to switch from Netsuite for long time but couldn't find suitable alternative , we didn't like working with their implementation partners since every time they broke the deadline and wasted so much of our time on implementation so we couldn't focus on daily tasks but now after switching i think its worth it
Pros: One of my most favourite features is how Dualentry is syncing with Ramp. I really like that I can just put a bill in Ramp and it shows up in Dualentry fast with no delay. The match bank data sections ease of matching payments is another feature i love. And if I make some mistake like matching the wrong things that have the same amount, it is very easy to go back and fix the error.
Cons: Till now we are having no issues with Dualentry. Everything is working good. Whenever we had some doubt or request, the Dualentry support staff was replying very quickly and helping us
Emile L. · Finance Manager · Financial Services · July 4, 2025
overall if you are also stuck with a clunky system like netsuite or any other erp software and want to do complex accounting without needing consultants then DualEntry is a very good choice.
Pros: i am liking this software a lot. The best part is the automation it is doing all the complex accounting work very fast and with no mistakes. Its saving our team so much time and managing accounts for all our different entities is now simple. The support team is also very good and helpful. If we have any doubt, they are solving it quickly.
Cons: With Netsuite it was always a big issue. The system felt too heavy and overengineered but with dualentry everything is easy and accurate. No more headaches

dualentry automates highvalue accounting processes like revenue recognition and multientity consolidation which wasn't the thing with quickbooks, we used to have 13 Quickbooks because of their limits and now we finally have all our entities in one place.
Pros: It's been good to finally have all of our accounts and merchandise on one platform and to be able to make financial statements and custom saved searches. This has been a more better process than simply submitting a bill in quickbooks...Plus AI copilot helps us save so much time when it comes to report creation..
Cons: I havent found any features that lack usefulness. All aspects of Dualentry have been intelligently executed.

Implementation is simple, templates are offered to streamline and expedite the process and data may be imported as needed
Pros: Simple to use and uncomplicated. When needed, customer service is easily accessible , helpful and has CPA on the team who help us stay compliant.
Cons: They are always introducing new features and enhancements. The team clearly prioritizes user needs because they are very receptive to feedback so i have no dislikes for this

Overall experience was good and satisfactory. It is providing all the information at a click and proving out to be an interactive workspace which can provide solutions to all accounting problems. All the accounting ratios can be calculated in no time which saves lots of time and effort. The interactive graphs and charts make it easier to interpret the data that is being put into the system. It further helps in analysis of the position of the company. For eg, If any ratios/ graphs turn out to be inconsistent it can be easily caught and company can work on solutions to improve their performance on the spot instead of waiting for month end to calculate these manually. Further, all the tasks are being done with minimum effort and time. Also, the journal entries that can be uploaded are more than other platforms.
Pros: DualEntry is user friendly platform. I was impressed by how easily I could navigate through without having any prior knowledge of the same. The dashboard is very easy to understand and interpret, the left side bar contains all the user required requests. Also, all the required information in accounting process is just a click away. It reduces the effort to be spent on keeping track of AP, amortization, bank accounts etc. which significantly reduces the amount of time to be spent by the enterprise in interpreting the financial information. The reports can also be easily generated and ratios easily accessable helping the company in keeping track of when something goes haywire.
Cons: Overall I loved how convinient the platform is- it's clear, crisp and concise. However, a few alterations I would suggest is : 1. adding auto correct: some places I could notice wrong spellings which can be reduced by this. 2. We can add some drop down menus e.g. in asset overview we can add dropdown in fixed asset name so that instead of manually entering the asset categories can be chosen which makes the process streamlined, better for user and further adding up each category can be convinient if same asset category is chosen through drop down menu.

My overall testing experience with DualEntry was great. I enjoyed using it and while using it, I have visualized the various things it may be used for. I could truly say that it has a potential to be one of the top accounting software out there due to it's versatility, and open integrability with other software.
Pros: I very much liked how versatile the software is and how it is highly integrable with other accounting software. It shows great versatility in terms of the customization and the various accounting functions you could do with DualEntry.
Cons: The thing that needs to be improved is the reconciliations function. It would be better if it could be improved visually to make it more understandable and less confusing. As a suggestion, reconciliations are done easy by putting the two data side-by-side.

It is a cloud based accounts package that handles multiple entities in multiple currencies. It has a fantastic reports capability and impressive integrations with 3rd party apps such as Hubspot. Compared with other browser based accounts packages the screen refresh really fast.
Pros: Cloud based, very user friendly, multi entity , multi currency The multitude of integrations with 3rd party apps Intuitive, excellent user experience
Cons: Not much not to like, perhaps some screens could use a different colour scheme for icons when collapsing some menus
Lucien D. · Business Analyst · Accounting · May 20, 2025
Smooth, short implementation, easy to use. Felt more like a simple onboarding than a painful ERP transition
Pros: Implementation was very smooth, intuitive no training needed, AI match made reconciliation a breeze through
Cons: It be great to see more dashboarding capabilities
