Paymo

Pros: Very reliable and easy to use time tracking and project management tool.

Cons: Greatly increased their pricing (nearly tripled) as features were added. And they limited how much historical data could be held in the system unless we signed on with the price increase. The additional features were not needed by us, so the ability to continue to use the tool and to have continued access to the data we had saved to it were held hostage to agreeing the price increase, even though the service we need did not include any of the new features.

Pros: From beginning to end of project management, you have a software that allows you to build your dream as you see fit. Scheduling, Invoicing, time cards, all in one place.

Cons: Some apps that are more specialized may have additional features your business may need. Investigate first to identify nonnegotiables here, or potentially be disappointed.

Pros: Paymo is user-friendly, so I easily manage tasks, track time, and handle billing without needing to learn complex features for my small team.

Cons: Paymo is best for small teams, so it might not be as suitable if your team grows beyond 20 people. This makes me wonder what i will use if I hire more employees, but we shall cross the bridge when we reach there.

Pros: I enjoy the easy to use Paymo platform and appreciate the features for efficient time tracking.

Cons: Paymo is a very effective tool for tracking time and I cannot think of any cons at the moment.

Pros: The UI is so much simple and its very easy to log time.

Cons: There is nothing I dislike. Its perfect

Pros: Tracks time like nothing else, i can export my monthly reports, has a lot of filters all in one tool

Cons: Sometimes seems like a minute overlaps and pushes the task aside even tho one ended an another began next minute (we are talking about 15min rounded time)

Pros: As an end user for Paymo, I cannot stress on how easy it is to log time for tasks and send that for invoicing. It has made me and my team become incredibly efficient in understanding our time, figuring out roadblocks and solving issues faster.

Cons: I did not know that paymo had a desktop app, it gets a bit cumbersome to use the web version.

Pros: I like the flexibility and how scalable the tool is which makes it possible to handle multiple projects.

Cons: So far there are no significant issues with the tool and we are satisfied with the results.

Pros: We use this product as an onsite payment method. Its easy to use and simple to update as needed.

Cons: Their tablets are not the best but usable. Would like something that holds up better after alot of use.

Pros: It helps me to visualize what needs to be done, keep my tasks in one place, and track the time I'm spending on projects.

Cons: Time tracking can be a bit cumbersome. I would like to be able to track for a project in total vs task by task. Sometimes I'm flying through them.

Pros: No space limit on writing my comments to the company.

Cons: The fact that it's online and not directly on my server.

Pros: I love the ease of use and how the features suit all my needs (tasks management, time tracking, invoicing, project management, time reports). It’s super user-friendly and pretty straightforward.

Cons: Top of mind room for improvement would be the Time Reports view. I hope when I archive reports, it won’t appear on the sidebar anymore. It just seems to cluttered seeing everything there. What I’m doing is filtering but I hope there’s a fixed solution there.

Pros: I liked being able to see how my time is spent and which work to prioritise.

Cons: When trying to copy tasks from one week to another it lags most of the time but other than that its good

Pros: Task management and time tracking is baked into ONE system so you pay once, not for two different systems. Easy to use like Asana, but packed with more functionality, like Clickup – but much better than either.

Cons: Paymo can’t (yet) set a price per word for invoicing articles, and due to legal requirements in the UK, I have to export invoices to Quickbooks and send them from there rather than directly from Paymo.

Pros: I love the project planning feature. Very easy to use, it has everything I need to set up projects, estimate the hours of every task and track the actual hours of completion. The reporting feature is also excellent and can be adjusted to my needs. The desktop and mobile apps are also quite useful.

Cons: I can't really find anything I didn't like about Paymo.

While the existing templates are useful, having more flexibility to tailor them to our specific needs would be beneficial. Additionally, the mobile app interface could be more intuitive, as navigating certain features feels slightly clunky compared to the desktop version. Finally, while the customer support is generally responsive, there have been instances where resolution times could be quicker. Despite these minor drawbacks, Paymo remains a valuable tool for our team's project management needs.

Cons: Missing some currencies. And being able to select a different currency at project level.

Pros: The usability of this app is amazing! Everything is easy to find and use, making my life so much simpler! Navigation is smooth and features are intuitive. Definitely a first-class user experience!

Cons: While I appreciate many aspects of the app, one thing that's frustrating is the inability to display tasks as clearly as on the timesheet. It's challenging to track progress without this feature, and it's something I hope they'll improve in future updates.

Pros: The interface is simple and just works. Mobile version has a friendly UI. Possible to log experiences and track task time

Cons: A few bulk insert features are missing. Like specific hours per day and then clone it to the work week. So it would not look like "day" but more "specific hours each work day"

Pros: I appreciate the ease of creating projects and the possibility of modifying them; management through multiple administrators is a great solution.

Cons: The difficulty in moving a project from "new business" to "standard"; the formulation of reports should also be more immediate with the export of a simplified Excel file to be delivered to end customers where the differentiation is already present in: date*/activity*/operator/hours* spent and general total

Cons: Paymo's pricing plans may not be suitable for all budgets, especially for freelancers or small teams looking for more affordable options.

Pros: Fairly straight forward interface, customer support is helpful, but with some delay.

Cons: Some bugs after app update that have not been worked out - new releases do not always work well with Safari - a bit costly for what it is - desktop app is severely outdated, very low resolution (blurry) on modern high resolution monitors - new desktop app needs to be developed - no ability to view, create or edit invoices, estimates, projects or client info in the IOS mobile app. The IOS mobile app is only useful for time keeping, which is pretty much useless.
