Truckbase

Pros: Helps us organize our loads and keep track of driver settlements which makes it easier to do payroll. Customer Service is on point , very helpful and response is rapid .Very little issues with downtime has great features that allow drivers to upload pictures of documents for office reference.

Cons: As of right now we have no complaints . Everything has been made easy to use and manage . Definitely best bang for your buck.

Pros: Unlike other systems like Alvys and rose rocket, truckbase is much easier to use, and intuitive. UI is much cleaner, understandable on one look at the screen. I loved the invoicing process is very easy. The mobile app helps a TON, no more asking drivers to send BOLs via whatsapp or text messages. App tracks the whole movement. I can see the schedule of all trucks and all drivers on 1 screen. Helps in managing. Pay tracking is also very easy. Overall, it's just much easier to use than other systems I have used. No unnecessary complexity.

Cons: There is nothing I disliked. But there might be features that can be added that would make it better for example: 1. For each load, history of the changes made to that load so that any employee that makes changes to that load can later be asked exactly why that change was made. For ex: why was this load invoiced when BOL had not been uploaded. (Can enforce accountability) important to prevent mistakes. 2. Showing a map of where the driver currently is using the phone's location instead of the logbook, because some trucks that run locally under 150-mile radius don't use logbooks. These are just features that would improve it further. Even without them, I am very happy with the product.

Pros: Easy to use and loaded with useful features,I deal with a lot of permits all day and it is easy to get them on here and for the driver to get them (and all other paperwork required,they always have access to it and it prevents late night calls looking for paperwork.

Cons: so far there's nothing that I don't like but if anything comes up in the future I'll revise my review,

Pros: After we switched to Truckbase, getting the information and permits to the driver and escorts has become much simpler and more effective. Any problems we have it's as simple as a phone call or email to get it resolved. Definitely worth the time and money. Keeping track of all your past and upcoming jobs for dispatch has become a breeze. And learning the system was as easy as an in-person meeting and then playing with the system.

Cons: The two things I found, was corrected by the truckbase team immediately with one phone call. And with their immediate response it's better than previous systems or programs.

Pros: Like the ease of duplicating loads.. Equipment management, initial customer support is good, however using the help desk is a hurry up and wait process. Support has given hopeful resolutions to issues but it is a considerable wait time.

Cons: really not configured for an owner operator based company. It is more based to a company driver.. you can make it work as i have however there is hoops you have to jump through like adding FSC to each load when you settle a load as well or accessorial charges. Fuel card integration partially works but does not pass along the fee and no way to add the card fee to the fuel transaction rendering the auto feature useless. Reporting is weak... Have experience with Mcleod and still prefer due to an all in package but it lacks for a Lease o\o company. Company made a fix a few weeks ago for factoring and now my invoices are not as complete as they used to be and had to remove the factoring option all together.. yet invoices still print on the bottom payment should be sent to .........(its blank) Driver app is terrible.. Some drivers have stopped using and just use the text link..

Pros: First off the Truckbase team is an absolute pleasure to work with. Customer service and support are amazing. All the information is readily available for dispatchers, drivers, and administration for each load.

Cons: Do to our specialized hauling services we are having difficulty sorting through some of the duplicate commodities.

Pros: Being able to dispatch orders to the drivers and view orders. Makes it easy to get the uploads from drivers. I also like that I can send a driver a message when I need them to upload something particular.

Cons: Sometimes AI does not capture all the information for dispatching. Issues with drivers being able to mark dispatches to transit and delivered. Wish there was a way for drivers to communicate back.

Pros: Truckbase has made our work life so much easier. Very user friendly. Definitely worth the money. Plus it helps us keep track of the Drivers and their loads. Vlad and his Truckbase team are always so helpful when it comes to issues we may be facing.

Cons: It’s not as easy to use on a phone from an admin perspective. It seems most of the drivers have the app down.

Pros: Truckbase has been a very beneficial addition to our overall dispatch experience. Cuts down a lot of time with paperwork and it is extremely user friendly, and the learning curve is simple. Truckbase is also very helpful with driver dispatch and management and the ability to monitor shipments and deliveries with GPS tracking from beginning to end of each shipment. Customer support is A+.

Cons: At the moment we have no complaints at all with Truckbase and any bugs or issues have been addressed very quickly.

Pros: very simple to use. it is easy to navagate through. And it also has a bunch of different options to personalize it.

Cons: sometimes it glitches a little bit. but not to bad. also it shows the drivers who the broker is that has to load.

Pros: At The Force Transport, we love how we can keep our loads organized. It's very convenient with paperwork. It's also very quick for invoicing.

Cons: Even though Truckbase has a new notification tab, the system still doesn't do pushed notifications. It'd be a great addition once the system can notify you in both the website and phone app.

Pros: Overall the ease of use of the product coupled with back end support by a team that actually cares. When we actually have any issues, they help and solve problems. The integrations with GPS, logs, and QuickBooks makes for a good experience.

Cons: Settlements, but we are working on that. I need to be able to easily pay driver's and owner operators off of the same load. I believe that's coming in Q2

Pros: -Truckbase being all in on heavy haul is a huge factor for us because they understand our business and offer features to match. -Our drivers are happy with the visibility of what they have to do ahead of them. The landing page has all of the information for their loads, all of the documents they need for their load along with information on upcoming loads which has increased communication that the drivers have appreciated. -Truckbase is incredibly fast to respond when it comes to support and they have been quick to fix any small bugs that have occasionally popped up.

Cons: -There haven't really been any cons that we have been able to notice as Truckbase has been incredibly responsive to all of our questions and requests.

Pros: Our team would 100% recommend Truckbase! It has made our lives in dispatch way easier. I was a skeptic at first you can even ask Holden, our sales rep. I for sure thought that the AI load confirmation entering would have so many errors and I would be right back to hand entering loads. We did settle on the EDI as well, game changer! No more tracking shipments, it's only uploading the POD for the customer on their portal. It's fantastic having all dispatch and billing in one single app. We can pull up the BOL's in seconds for the customer or broker requesting them. Truckbase has wonderful customer / technical support!! Vlad has helped me right away when I have any questions :)

Cons: A messaging center for drivers. Hoping to them directly and as a whole mass message. I was informed that are working on that.

Pros: Ease of use. The order entry and editing of orders is very simple and easy to follow. Very easy to teach and modify to needs.

Cons: That orders stay on the boards forever. I would like the orders to drop off based on certain milestone status', such as once an order is ready for invoice, I would like it to drop of the dispatch board in the table view.

Pros: When I first reached out to TruckBase, everyone I contacted was extremely friendly and responsive. I found that their product was one of the only ones on the market that had an easy to use platform, good value for the price, and the AI PDF importer. I save so much time by not having to hand type everything from my rate confirmations into TruckBase. If a RC does not read properly, I can send it over to support for it to be "trained". They are proactive in getting things right for the customer. The team updates you when they are having updates or any bugs in the system that slow it down. TruckBase consistently checks in on the company to make sure that we are satisfied with their product. The possibilities seem endless with what TruckBase has the ability to do. We are a smaller company with less than 20 drivers, mostly owner-operators.

Cons: I wish the AI PDF importer was able to use from handheld devices or my iPad. It would make it easier to use for on the road.

Pros: It's simple, easy to integrate into our operations, and saves us time. The first impression I got was thankfully not a false one. Truckbase is user-friendly, not overly complicated, and for a small asset-based carrier, a big time saver!

Cons: The one feature I suggested is that they develop the driver app to prompt drivers at each stop to take a picture of the freight versus being open ended with it still being up to the driver to rember to take pictures at each stop.

Pros: I am impressed by the ease of use and intuitive nature of the user interface. The customer support staff is second to none.

Cons: Downloading large amounts of data can be slow but this is improving. This is due to how I am using Truckbase. With all the new integrations I will not need to download large data sets.

Pros: What I like most is their Customer Care and their focus on equipment hauling and oversized equipment hauling aspects of the trucking industry. It’s almost as if it were designed just for us.

Cons: I didn’t find any dislikes. They’re still developing and open to suggestions to improve their TMS is a huge plus.

Pros: I appreciated how user-friendly Truckbase is, especially compared to more complex TMS platforms. It streamlined key dispatching tasks and made it easy to track loads, drivers, and documents in one place

Cons: While the platform is generally user-friendly, there were a few features that felt limited or not as customizable as we needed for our specific workflow. One improvement I’d really like to see is separating trucks and trailers into their own tabs, similar to how the Team tab divides drivers and dispatchers. Right now, having them grouped together makes it harder to manage and locate equipment quickly. A clear separation would make things much more organized and user-friendly.

Pros: The software is very easy to use and we are no longer doing paper dispatches. Truckbase took our dispatching to the 21st century.

Cons: The software that we were using prior to Truckbase was old but it was free. It's a tough pill to swallow when you have to start paying for something new.

Pros: The ease of use, quick helpful support, and willingness of management to understand and implement reasonable feature requests.

Cons: There are minimal integrations - although Truckbase is continuing to add more (such as recent fuel integration with Wex/EFS). Price is very high. No monthly or even quarterly fee structure.
