Termly offered everything I needed. For more platforms it is the ideal solution. The updates are useful and it loads fast, your servers will be happy. The part where Termly pushes a bit too much is when you get the pesky marketing emails but you can turn them off.
Pros: Termly customer support is unparalleled. They managed to process all our queries and questions in under few hours. Also very friendly and professional approach to all our needs.
Cons: The costs. Yes you can get a discount for larger projects but if you run more platforms it will be hard to prove that you are building them. Could be a bit cheaper of professional plans.

Overall, my experience with Termly has been positive. It has significantly simplified the process of managing compliance for my website. The peace of mind knowing that my policies are up-to-date and legally sound is invaluable. Despite the cost, the efficiency and support provided make it a worthwhile investment.
Pros: I appreciated the user-friendly interface of Termly. It made navigating through the various features straightforward, even for someone not very tech-savvy. The compliance templates were particularly helpful, saving me a lot of time in drafting policies. The customer support was responsive and provided clear guidance whenever I had questions.
Cons: The pricing structure could be more flexible. While the features are robust, smaller businesses might find the cost a bit high for their needs. Additionally, some advanced features require a bit of a learning curve, which could be streamlined with more tutorials or guides.

Termly is an excellent tool for businesses looking to simplify their compliance processes without breaking the bank. It strikes a great balance between affordability. ease of use, and functionality. While there is room for improvement in areas like customization and integrations.
Pros: Termly's friendly UI is awesome as it makes it easy to create, manage and update the policies such privacy policies, terms of services and cookies policies. Even without extensive legal expertise, we were able to quickly set up complaint docs and embed them into our website. The policy generators are very detailed and easy to use, so it provides customizable templates tailored to the needed sector/department. Thus, it saved us time and money. The cookies consent manager is one of the Termly's standout features, as it helps to ensure complaince with cookie laws by providing a customizable cookie banner, automatic scanning of our websites for cookies, and ongoing updates to the cookies database.
Cons: While the policy generators are comprehensive, customization is somewhat limited for businesses with highly specific or niche requirements. Adding more advanced options for tailoring policies to unique needs would be welcome improvements for sure. The free plan is useful for basic compliance but for large orgs that would need advanced features like "multi language support" or more detailed analytics will definitely need to upgrade to a paid plan and this is where the pricing might be challenging for mid-sized organizations. Although the cookies scanner is effective overall, it occasionally misses certain cookies or categorizes them incorrectly, requiring manual adjustments. Improving the accuracy and granularity of the scanner would enhance the tool's reliability.

Termly software is supposed to be used to make complex Legal jargon easier to navigate if law is not your Forté. It helps you to write small contracts for your small business if you use the outlines provided. Pretty solid software; helps walk you through policy creation and compliance.
Pros: You can protect your business and your customers' info. The software assists you to create a customized policy that covers all the bases. GDPR, CCPA It also has a lot of user-friendly features and it offers a free trial. You can actually create one template for your small business for free.
Cons: This software is excellent for General contracts and general compliance. If you are looking to focus on niche business practices this may not be the right software for you. Termly's templates are Comprehensive. However, businesses with highly specialized legal requirements or those in niche industries may find them limiting. In these cases, a lawyer-drafted approach might be necessary.

My overall experience has been okay but it can be improve. It is the reliable tool to manage web compliance. The automated cookie constant is what I enjoy most.
Pros: I like the user friendly interface of Termly. Its easy to navigate through it and does not take much effort to find anything. Its updates regularly which keeps policies features up to date. It makes easy to create legal policies with the available templates.
Cons: I find the customization options are very limited in it which stops me to tailor policies as per my need. The customization is way more slow than I thought when ever I get into any trouble they response slow which cause delay in my work.

Utilizing Termly has been a for the most part certain experience, particularly for organizations looking for clear answers for consistence. The stage offers a scope of instruments to make and oversee legitimate strategies like protection arrangements, treat assent flags, and terms of administration. Its layouts and auto-update highlights save time and exertion, especially for those new to lawful language. Notwithstanding, the estimating design can feel prohibitive for more modest organizations, and the customization choices could be more adaptable. The UI is spotless yet may demand an investment to see completely. Generally speaking, Termly is a down to earth instrument that offsets convenience with fundamental consistence needs.
Pros: I love that Termly does all of the truly difficult work for me; everything I need to do is input my data and they wrap up. I am so happy I tracked down this site.
Cons: One of the viewpoints clients frequently like least about Termly is its valuing structure, which can feel prohibitive, particularly for private companies or new businesses with restricted financial plans. While the stage offers a free arrangement, the highlights are very fundamental, pushing clients toward paid levels to get to fundamental devices like auto-refreshes for strategies or multi-language support. Also, the customization choices for layouts could feel fairly restricted for those looking for more control or extraordinary strategy plans. The UI, while utilitarian, could be more instinctive for novices, as exploring through all elements and understanding their maximum capacity could require some experimentation.

A practical tool for small businesses that want to handle legal compliance without stress.
Pros: Creating a privacy policy for our website was simple, and it ensured we were GDPR-compliant without needing a legal expert.
Cons: The customization options for legal templates could be broader, but they cover most essentials.

I was tasked with making our marketing website compliant and to publish our policies on our marketing website. After some review and editing of the supplied templates I was able to publish and add links to the various policies I was able to create with Termly. I also like how they are supposed to keep the policies up to date as the requirements and laws change over time.
Pros: What I like about Termly is that it helped us be compliant without having to do too much. We installed the product, used the templates to customize our policies and were then able to publish them to our marketing website without a lot of hassle, in fact it was very easy to use. This process can be complicated and Termly helps reduce the anxiety of this very complex issue and makes it easy to deploy.
Cons: My only complaint so far is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of customization for the Wordpress plugins for the consent management banners. Other than that it is a pretty well thought out product and have found it to be very useful overall.

Erica W. · Co-Owner · Machinery · May 15, 2023
Pros: With the legal woes and lawyers of America, we found it very important to be up to date with our internet usage policy and all of that other complicated stuff. Termly made it easy for me to be in compliance with policies I needed to allow all users access to my site from around the globe without having to do much.
Cons: If you are implementing on your website, make sure you understand it will take a little experience to pull it over with the API. Also, some add blockers, such as Brave Browser, will block the API from running. For the most part, I have had very little problems or concerns.
