Plytix is a platform built specifically for product information. Keep it all in one place, so your team always knows what’s right. No more chasing spreadsheets, digging through folders, or second-guessing versions. Just one shared space for everything, from descriptions and specs to images and variants, all organized and easy to find. It’s made for the people actually working with product information every day. So updates are faster, collaboration is smoother, and those constant “quick question…” messages start to disappear. When your product information is ready, send it wherever it needs to go, whether that’s your ecommerce store, marketplaces, or retail partners, without reworking everything. Less time fixing product information. More time getting products live.

Overall very good PIM & DAM. We were with Akeneo and when we migrate to Plytix, everything was much easier.
Pros: I like the image resizer/transform feature in the Plytix Shopify Channel. It lets me store a huge image in Plytix, but send a smaller version of that same image through Shopify.
Cons: I find the product view and list a bit confusing. I hope it will be better in the next update, since there is a lot of update in Plytix.

Migrating to Plytix is one of the highest-leverage decisions we've made on our tech stack. We manage a portfolio of brands and needed a PIM that could scale with us without becoming the bottleneck — Plytix has delivered on both fronts. The product is strong, the team behind it genuinely innovates, and it's the kind of partner you want when you're building for the long term rather than just solving today's problem. Highly recommend for any multi-brand operation evaluating a migration.
Pros: The combination of flexibility and pace of innovation. We run multiple e-commerce brands and Plytix handles very different catalogs, data models, and brand requirements without making us hack around the tool. On top of that, the team actually ships — meaningful improvements land consistently, not just cosmetic updates. Most platforms in this category plateau after the sales cycle ends. Plytix keeps getting better, and we keep finding new ways to use it.

Overall, Plytix has been a reliable and practical tool that has significantly improved how we manage product data. It has helped centralise information across multiple systems, reduce errors, and improve efficiency in maintaining large catalogues. While there are some limitations for more complex use cases, it performs very well for everyday PIM and DAM needs and continues to improve over time.
Pros: The simplicity and usability stand out most. It makes managing complex product data much more accessible, especially for teams working across multiple brands or large catalogues. The combination of PIM and DAM in one platform is very effective, and the ability to create structured feeds for different sales channels saves a lot of manual work.
Cons: There are some limitations around advanced automation and complex product relationships, particularly when dealing with large variant structures. Some workflows still require manual workarounds, and more advanced reporting or filtering would improve the platform further.

Overall, my experience with Plytix has been good. The platform is easy to use and helps centralize and manage product data effectively. It has improved workflow efficiency, although some features could be more flexible for complex requirements.
Pros: I liked how user-friendly and intuitive Plytix is. It makes managing product information much easier and more organized, especially when working with large catalogs.
Cons: What I liked least about Plytix is that some features feel a bit limited when dealing with more complex workflows, and it can take time to adapt certain processes to fit specific business needs.

I am able to instantly push product data and to Shopify and our WMS has saved me hours in time and also virtually eliminates inconsistancies in the data between systems. I am able to create Brand Portals in seconds which can be shared with the wider business without compromising on protected data - they only see what I want them to see.
Pros: Plytix has a familiar, spreadsheet-like interface and being able to instantly push product data and to Shopify and our WMS has saved me hours in time and also virtually eliminates inconsistancies in the data between systems. We have had terrific customer support from the team who have been ready and able to help us whenever needed. I use this tool every day and it's been so easy from the get-go. When we implemented, I was only the data custodian, however as the team has changed I've also been looking after the techical side which has been very easy to learn and integrate with our existing systems.
Cons: There are not enough checks and balances for my liking. I'd like to be able to make some fields mandetory for upload.

I like the usability of the product, along with the ease of configuration for the user without long training required. I have to call out the support and the very good responsiveness from the Plytix team. The solution is evolving all the team with improvements and new features.
Pros: Having worked with numerous PIM and DAM solutions, I appreciate the User Interface of the platform as well as the ease of usability and configuration of the platform.
Cons: Some features are still in the roadmap which I have seen in other solutions, however, the Plytix team are very proactive in adding features to the roadmap and taking on board customer feedback.
Jat D. · PIM Data Analyst · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · February 25, 2026
I would highly recommend Plytix to anyone needing to store images and data. It has an easy learning curve, even for teams that aren't tech-savvy, and offers great value compared to other platforms on the market.
Pros: What I liked most was how easy Plytix is to navigate and use. This simplicity is a huge plus for our team's collaboration and helps us manage our data much more effectively.
Cons: The biggest challenge for us involves image uploads. We handle a high volume of images, and they all need uniform filenames. Our contact at Plytix, [sensitive content hidden], has a great workaround for renaming set up for our company, but I hope to see a more automated solution for this in the future. Over all no real Cons about Plytix.

Plytix is a great system, very easy to use and incredibly helpful in our daily operations. We’re very happy with it and honestly, we can’t imagine running our business without it anymore.
Pros: Plytix has significantly improved our workflow thanks to its flexibility and speed of development. It's extremely user-friendly, making it easy to find and manage our data. One major advantage is the cost—it’s more affordable than its main competitors, offering great value. Uploading and managing assets like product images is seamless. We can easily link files without having to upload them multiple times, which saves us a lot of time and effort. Each team can define their own completeness criteria for filling in product data, which is incredibly helpful. It ensures that everyone focuses on what matters most to their responsibilities, while still maintaining consistency across the board. Most importantly, Plytix has become our single source of truth for product information—something we never had in the past. This centralized, reliable access to data has made a real difference in how we operate.
Cons: That said, we see room for improvement. A direct integration with Microsoft Business Central would be highly valuable, enabling us to sync data between our PIM and ERP systems more efficiently. Also, while the platform’s flexibility is a big plus, it can introduce complexity. We've found it essential to have an internal expert who manages the structure and fields to ensure consistency and maintainability.

Pros: Very easy to use for internal use and for our customers. Also easy to update information and to block people that you do not want to edit.
Cons: Overall very happy with how it works. In the beginning you need a bit of explenation and should wacht out that somebody does not do adjust something he/she shouldn't while learning.

Very good. A pleasure to work with. I notice that I use it more and more due to the variety of information it contains.
Pros: Very professional source of information which is clear and easy to retrieve. And easy to set up according to your own wishes.
Cons: For now, constantly to have to go to the homepage when it's necessary to look up another SKU. But I was told this could be fixed. Always nice that Plytix listens to feedback and try to resolve 'problems'.
Mark W. · Sales International · Sports · July 23, 2025
A very versatile application with many options to present information and follow up
Pros: User friendly. Easy way to update information. Alot of configuration and connectivity options.
Cons: I continue using the application and I have not found a contradiction to its use
Rodrigo L. · COMERCIAL SERVICES · Retail · December 10, 2024
Absolutely no complaints. Our account specialist, [sensitive content hidden], has also been incredibly helpful in the setup/continued help. I would recommend Plytix to anyone who needs a PIM/DAM.
Pros: Our company used to be on Salsify, and when our leadership told us it was too expensive to keep paying for, I was incredibly worried that we would lose all of our capabalities that we needed in a PIM/DAM. We found Plytix, which not only has the same capabalities as Salsify, but more capabalities -- all for about 25% of our Salsify cost. I cannot recommend Plytix enough (and, in fact, have recommended it to several people already).
Cons: The Shopify publishing can be a bit tricky (at least, a bit trickier than the Salsify publishing into Shopify).
Sam B. · E-Commerce Manager · Sports · October 16, 2024
Great experience so far, confident going forward that Plytix are the right solution for our PIM system.
Pros: Great service from implementation and account management, solid data management solution. Flexible and new features regularly added. Large bank of information available online.
Cons: I'd personally make brand portals slightly more customisable from a branding perspective.
Alex H. · Digital · Machinery · October 15, 2024
We used the purple onboarding which made the integration a smooth process, the onboarding team were great and the product is revolutionising the way we work.
Pros: It has really helped us organise our product data which will help us get our new products to market quicker whilst containing a lot more informative data. There is lots of help available either directly from the team at Plytix or video tutorials available online.
Cons: If you are setting up a Magento channel there is a module that needs to be purchased from Wyomind. It takes a bit of setting up with mapping of attributes but there are videos and online help sheets from Plytix to help.
Duncan W. · Shareholder Manager · Retail · October 15, 2024
Pros: Plytix is an amazing tool that is helping us change our information and data paradigm at Roots Radicals. We were looking for the best tool for this purpose and Plytix is certainly proving to be what we need.
Cons: Some features, like the creation of PDF data sheets per product used to exist but no longer are available. I'm looking forward to when they activate them again.
Nicolas K. · Co-Founder and Tech Consultant · Food & Beverages · January 10, 2024
Super pleased with this platform. Love how our team can work on products and it synchronizes everything. No more multiple locations for product development!
Pros: How it synchronizes across platforms! Solid one source of truth!
Cons: I’m not as technically experienced so I’m learning how to use it still.
Veronica F. · Vice President of production · Automotive · December 27, 2023
Pros: Direct integration with Shopify and the automated sync
Cons: No image ai auto tagging for the photos.
Jason F. · Owner · Arts and Crafts · December 22, 2023
Prompt Response in our meetings with customer service: Within the scheduled meetings, I received an articulated response from [sensitive content hidden]. This quick response time immediately put me at ease and conveyed a sense of ease which attached itself to my tutoring on the Plytix tools and concepts. She always answered all my questions thoroughly and provided valuable insights into best practices, which helped me make informed decisions.
Pros: Knowledgeable Expertise: [sensitive content hidden] customer service rep displays an impressive depth of knowledge about Plytix's products and services. She always answered all my questions thoroughly and provided valuable insights into best practices, which helped me make informed decisions.
Cons: This is not possible for me to state the cons as I did not experience any.
Norma V. · Customer Support · Furniture · October 7, 2023
Great overall experience, was offered a lot of help with the set up of Plytix and great customer service help with anything afterwards.
Pros: The ease of setting up products and pulling it into different customers product sheet formats. Saves so much time.
Cons: There is a lot of information you take in and so many pages, it can be a bit daunting to use if you don't use it regularly.
Sidnie P. · Sales & Customer Service Support · Retail · September 5, 2023
Love it, very supportive team and a very powerful tool. The Plytix team is always trying to develop the platform in way to make our lives easier!
Pros: We have a huge catalogue of products of over 9000 products, what I like the most about it is that it has gathered all the scattered data we have in drive, ERP system in one place, now we have all the data of the products, all the digital assets, all the marketing material, pricing , stock and the files and technical data sheets of the products under one umbrella and in one place. It made our lives much easier and made the work much faster, it takes now a minute to export all the required data we might need for our wholesale clients or for our retails and e-commerce customers. We also love the brand portals and how it made life easier to our agents in different countries, as now they have access to all our data by minute from their phones, it's very practical and easy to use, I love PIM! :)
Cons: The only thing that we are facing issue with is the filter/search, where coming back to the previous page won't keep the searched result or filter saved, and we need to redo it all over again, we believe Plytix team are already working on it, hopefully it'll be solved soon :)
Tamara O. · Business Development Manager · Wholesale · September 4, 2023
Pros: We have a large amount of products that we often need to redo, add to, change. Plytix makes this task extremely easy and straightforward. It's a terrific tool, and the customer support is amazing.
Cons: I have not used Plytix for anything but product descriptions, and those are super easy with Plytix. I would like to see more font choices, however.
Lisa F. · Owner · Farming · September 2, 2023
We have a lot of products, an exceptionally large number for our small store. Many of the products have lots of variants. When we first tried to open our Shopify store, getting all those products live, complete, and updated, was impossible. Plytix has made product management systematic.
Pros: I tried a few PIMs before we settled on Plytix. Plytix Just Works. Integration with Shopify, our most important platform, is complete and bug-free. Also, support is fast, and the support folks really know their stuff.
Cons: I haven't learned how to use Plytix Asset manager. We use it, but I'm sure we could use it better.
Robert F. · President · Food Production · September 2, 2023
It is vital to keep our product data accurate and in the correct format, its incredibly easy to export various data to send to our Sales team which makes it a great multi tool.
Pros: The Team at Plytix are amazing the functionality of Plytix is easy to maneuver however there team are always available for training and help which is there best asset.
Cons: The layout of the page could be improved
Elly C. · Sales Support Team Leader · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · September 1, 2023
In general, I think Plytix is a very professional tool and it delivers very well what we expect, an intelligent and dynamic way of having all the information and media for your products, regardless of the size of your company.
Pros: The flexibility of the platformThe support, always helpful and efficientEasy to use and understandGood integration with marketplaces and other platforms
Cons: The limitation in the Free version (without channels)Some adjustments needed in user managementThe product date sheets could be more customizable and dynamic.
Igor R. · Marketing Technician · Glass, Ceramics & Concrete · September 1, 2023
The training was friendly and informative, the sales team did a great job and weren't pushy at all. Day to day useage of the platform is always reliable.
Pros: It is so intuitive and fast to edit products in bulk, its saved us days in onboarding products to Shopify, Amazon and other marketplaces. Updating sales prices or bulk adding a shopify tag takes just minutes now. Love the asset management, uploading images is lightning fast compared to our old system and completely removed the need for an FTP server to store marketplace images. Creating the outbound templates for each platform again saves hours and is the cherry on top.
Cons: The limitation on number of outbound channels was a bit of a sticking point, but they gave us a great deal on a few more when signing.
