great customer service and easy to use software
Pros: Easy to use and has a good flow. Great customer service
Cons: inventory was hard to track compared to other systems
Josh V. · owner · Construction · January 15, 2025
Razor sync is fine for a customer data base and service schedule for technicians but we were initially sold on it helping us schedule and telling us when customers were due for service based on our inputs but that isn't how the system actually works
Pros: We needed a system to be able to remotely look up our customers information and scheduling and this did that
Cons: The prices keep going up. We've used razor sync for about 3 years now and are play no more than double what we started at without changing anything in our use or any improvements that affect our companies use of the software.

Overall it is a great program. It has some bugs and could use some simplification of processes.

Pros: I like the layout being easy to read because it is not over crowded. Information is accessible able and well labeled.
Cons: There are way too many steps to creating invoices. The county never matches the town. When creating reaccuring payment you have to manually input the amount for each work order even when the reassurance is set on a work order with all the proper information.

My overall experience has been ok. However, once we stop having the internal page down errors and all other issues, we tend to experience daily it will get better.
Pros: As a daily user for Razor sync, I can say it has its hits and it has its misses. Sometimes we have a good day of use, then other days it's not so good. These are my experiences with this program.
Cons: The improvement should be testing out why we experience the internal pages lost every other day. This has happened pretty regularly since using the program. It slows down our productivity and we can't do most of our work when this is down.

There is a little bit of a learning curve, but it is fairly intuitive. When I get stuck, customer service is very responsive, with short hold times and hands-on tutorial help
Pros: The flexibility of the invoice entries. I can edit as needed.
Cons: I'd like to see the ability to automate discounting and service charging for credit card payments when invoicing services
Scott R. · Owner · Construction · September 27, 2023
So far it has been good.
Pros: The ease of the technician invoicing and collecting payment in the field.
Cons: Information has to be entered repeatedly.
Ronda T. · Assistant Operations Manager · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · June 12, 2023
Pros: scheduling customer appointments and firld staff work schedule
Cons: seems to be glitchy from time to time, mixing customer data screens if your not careful it could be a big deal.

It is an OK product. I get kicked off a lot when I’m not on mobile.
Pros: I did not choose this product. I do like that it’s mobile.
Cons: My colleagues, and I have made suggestions, and none of them were addressed to finality.
Rob D. · Solution Specialist · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · April 15, 2023
Great just need to fix new app
Pros: That it’s easy and simple to navigate where you are going when you are already dealing with a problem or situation out in the field. You don’t need your app to give you more problems.
Cons: How do you have to add a whole Nother step to get to your work orders or your work details and if the app does not load or completely load I have removed it from my phone and put it back in my phone. Everyone is having the same problem.

Pros: RazorSync is a great utility for our needs as we go from job to job on a daily basis. Creating customers on the fly and invoicing them immediately is very valuable. Accepting payments afterwards is a breeze. Being able to email our customers afterward for their records is fantastic as well.
Cons: The only gripe I have is how the software defaults to the "invoiced - paid" status after creating the invoice and editing it. I don't understand why the software does this by default. It should only change to that status once the customer has actually tendered payment and we have processed their payment through the app by pressing the "payment" button.

Fairly easy to use on desktop. Mobile rarely loads.
Pros: Very easy to search customers, edit them, and schedule them.
Cons: Very difficult scheduling and editing scheduled appointments.
Hannah S. · A · Construction · January 6, 2023
Pros: The time management and attendance features worked really well
Cons: adding tasks/jobs was very convuluted and clunky
James C. · Owner · Staffing and Recruiting · September 7, 2022
I work with RazorSync Daily, we can see schedule, it is a great tool for time management in our industry.
Pros: I love that we can add new clients, and add multiples address, phone numbers, job title. We can see the daily schedule, run report, track services that we provide and need to be provide in the near future.
Cons: When you have a name connected to an invoice, can't be removed from the software so we have to delete all the invoices attached to that name or service address.

If I started my own business, I would begin with razorsync. Great stepping stone product for small groups.
Pros: The customizable options were great, now that we are using new software, I miss these features
Cons: Seemed like less and less updates were being done, not really keeping up with the competitors.
julie t. · admin · Building Materials · June 22, 2022
Pros: Incredibly useful program for streamlining operations. Customer service is great.
Cons: Could definitely use more customization options.

The product has it's advantages, especially the price. I haven't found a product that well designed for as low as a price as they offer. However, for a little bit more money, you can get products that are easier on the eyes and mind, which is worth it for me.
Pros: I enjoyed speaking and training with the sales and onboarding teams. They have an upbeat and positive energy, which makes you feel good about doing business with their company. Their customer service is great. They were accommodating and tried very hard to help me use the product in different ways to fit my individual business needs.
Cons: The product itself needs a fresh look. If they hired a few designers and made it look and feel as though I was using a product of today, that would help tremendously. However, the scheduling tool is what made me decide to look at other products in the market. Although I liked the drag and drop feature and the fact that you could schedule a job quickly, I couldn't get the view choices to work for me. Sometimes our scheduled jobs overlap in time for a particular user and this looked very messy and hard to read.

It was good. Really good but lately it has been extremely glitchy. Especially the mobile app side of it. It won’t sync users will have something assigned to them then it will disappear off their timeline.
Pros: Quickbooks sync, and ease of use. Trying to streamline business for ease of invoicing and collecting etc.
Cons: Service item search takes a while. Lately the app and desktop version has been very glitchy.

Like ability to move customers around easily. In our business this occurs often.
Pros: I have only been using for 6 weeks. Learning the process to set appointments was easy. If you forget to complete a field, it won't upload, but rather tells you what you are missing. Plenty of room for notes so technician is well informed before going to customer's home.
Cons: I have only been using product for 6 weeks and haven't found any cons yet.
Helena B. · Administrative Assistant · Utilities · March 30, 2021
Pros: Has nice features on desktop not so much on mobile devices.
Cons: Field techs always have issues with syncing and updates.
Jay A. · Owner · Construction · March 29, 2021
We see that a CRM program would be tremendously helpful to our business, but unfortunately RS is costing a lot of man hours to resolve quirks and glitches, only to have new ones come up. Customer support is usually very helpful - but there are limitations with this software. It just eats up so much of our employee time and energy to keep it working for us. We are on the lookout for something else.
Pros: It is easy to see how navigation of the software should work. The schedule is clear and has multiple views for daily / weekly / monthly.
Cons: It is VERY "glitchy". Working one day, kicking us out the next. Places don't seem to connect - for example customer notes will appear in one spot for administration, but then the techs don't see it. Tech's will enter a customer notes and administration can't find it.
Heather C. · owner · Construction · March 29, 2021
Pros: The fact that we are able to manage the office notes and field technicians jobs efficiently with integration from other software is the highest plus for us.
Cons: I don’t think there is anything that we don’t like. For us, we just have this learning curve with trying to make sure we utilize every aspect of this software.
Crystal M. · HR and Communication Specialist · Consumer Services · March 29, 2021
Pretty efficient overall, gets the job done in our company.
Pros: How I can see the whole week and I can easily now what my techs are up to
Cons: Is not too easy to track older jobs and if I enter a previous week and go back have to start over
FELIX I. · Senior Project Manager · Construction · March 29, 2021
Pros: Ease of use for the field technicians, We like the idea of the phone app and it's uploadability for pictures.
Cons: The intergration with QuickBooks was not exactly as advertised. We make it work, but it could be better.
Cory J. · Director of Operations · Oil & Energy · March 29, 2021
We have used RazorSync for over 7 years now and it has been a great fit for us. As a small company our budget would be stretched with what most similar software companies charge, but RazorSync is very affordable.
Pros: RazorSync allows us to access our customer database, schedule appointments, and invoice all in one convenient place. You can check sales and inventory reports.
Cons: Our technicians in the field can have difficulty processing credit cards or accessing the schedule if cell signals are too low.
Tina B. · Office manager · Consumer Services · March 26, 2021
Love the way I can just put it on peoples routes and not have to remember to tell them. As long as they Sync it works wonderful.
Pros: I do all my scheduling through this system. I love the app and what I use on the computer. I can go any where and use any computer or smart phone and get the most out of it. If there's something not quite jiving with my life I can always find a way to make this system work. I don't think I use all the features to their fullest but it's there for me once I figure it out or have them figure it out for me.
Cons: I sometimes have to figure it out but can't think of much I don't like. When I started using it 5 years ago it was difficult till it wasn't. Everything takes some getting used to and this was some learning but not to challenging. Growing pains only.
