My overall experience has been fantastic. Training with [sensitive content hidden] has been the fun part and most educational part. They assured us that it wouldn't take long to learn and they were correct. Each time we didn't understand a topic, they were right there to guide us. They have created things, changed things, revised items etc. just to make it work for our team. The entire experience made us feel safe and important as a customer.
Pros: First, New Org is user friendly and quick to learn. I enjoy being able to generate reports for all our programs. It gives us the ability to review reports in different formats. The data is accurate and generates quickly. The system is able to capture case notes and allows us to locate them easily. It meets our overall needs.
Cons: I'm not sure if I have found anything that doesn't satisfy our programs. Each time we had an issue or found something that wasn't working for us, all we needed to do was call [sensitive content hidden]. They were able to troubleshoot and find a solution that worked for our team.

Through NewOrg, we've been able to vastly increase the ease and productivity of our work, which is great in the non-profit world, which is so often under-resourced.

From our initial sales call through the implementation, the NewOrg staff was friendly, curious, and supportive. Very rarely did we hear that they could not meet our needs, but when the system couldn't do something we asked for, they came up with alternatives. The team was conscious of our tight not-for-profit budget and our small team's schedules. With our implementation complete, NewOrg left us confident that if something changes, they will be there to help us.
Pros: NewOrg is user-friendly and adaptable. It is clearly built with a not-for-profit in mind. The implementation team was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the customization and testing process. They took the time to listen, learn about our organization and all of its quirks, and make our NewOrg work for us. You don't realize how many "exceptions" there are until you talk through a "typical" day or program. NewOrg customized the product to meet our needs without overcomplicating things. The reporting gives us what we need without all of the extra steps we had to do before in excel or google docs. And multiple people can now access the information simultaneously. It's great to have it all in one place!
Cons: We didn't have the need for all of the bells and whistles since we already have systems in place for contacting our clients.

Cons: We didn’t implement their built-in features for client texting because we already had another platform that we like for that. We also don’t use them for donor management for the same reason. We also don’t use their online client portal, but that’s because most of our clients sign up for events/visit in person.

As a Pathway Manager, my experience with NewOrg has been very positive. It is an essential tool for supervising my team, as it centralizes both academic and financial requests in one place. The robust reporting features allow me to track progress and manage workflows effectively. While some processes require extra steps and I look forward to future features like participant chat, the current development of the participant portal is a major win for transparency. Additionally, their customer support is outstanding and always responsive to our team's needs

Pros: I find NewOrg to be very helpful due to its data migration and report creation services. It allows us to keep detailed and confidential client information securely. My favorite feature is the file share, which makes it easy to share or request documents from clients via text and email. This feature helps us track when something is shared, if the participant has opened it, and it stores everything in one place. I appreciate that NewOrg is more affordable and customizable compared to Bonterra. Additionally, the NewOrg Team was super helpful with training material and import, and being able to mirror most of the forms from Bonterra/Apricot was great.
Cons: I do not have anything to add here. The NewOrg team has been very helpful as we transitioned over and we were able to customize the platform to meet our needs.

Our organization provides direct services and NewOrg has helped us spend more time with our patrons instead of getting bogged down in paperwork. The migration to our platform has also made a real difference for our time-management needs, addressing gaps our office had been struggling with. The price is reasonable, and I appreciate how the platform can be tailored to our organization’s needs. I also value the personal touch throughout the experience, from sales through to support.
Pros: From the start, NewOrg has tailored their platform to meet our organization’s needs. Their support team has been incredibly helpful and accommodating whenever we’ve needed changes, and it genuinely feels like they do it all with a smile. Their response time on support tickets is very quick, and they pay close attention to the details to make sure we’re fully supported.
Cons: The only downside I’ve experienced with using NewOrg is that we weren’t fully aware of all its capabilities. We thought we were using the platform to its fullest, but during an annual review with their staff, we realized it can do much more. In particular, it offers additional support for our end-of-month reports that we hadn’t been taking advantage of.

It's honestly been really pleasant! A lot of non-profits don't go into database development thinking it will be fun-- we're social workers. :-) Our Engineer, [sensitive content hidden], was really thoughtful and deliberate in his recommendations during the development phase. By the end of it, it felt like he had a good understanding our program, both from a data perspective and from a service delivery framework.
Pros: I really appreciated the individualized support that NewOrg gave our organization during the planning phase. Our engineer asked a lot of good questions and even, anticipated potential issues during the development.
Cons: The biggest challenge for us so far is that we aren't able to make certain fields required. Part of this is that our multi-service organization have access to the same questions. While some questions are required for a department, it may not be for another. It would be great if we could somehow find a way to make certain question required based on the department.

I have had a very positive experience throughout implementation, launching and now reporting, building dashboards and utilizing customer support. NewOrg helped us bridge the divide between program implementation needs, funding and contract requirements and building in organizational dreams/learning culture features that we were unable to get from our previous client management system.
Pros: NewOrg has great support and walked us through every step of the implementation process to make sure we were getting what we needed for both front line staff and reporting.
Cons: Moving to a new system is always a challenge for staff and there is a learning curve, but NewOrg set us up with thorough instructions and ongoing real live human support.

Pros: The collaboration that is provided in making updates to information by members of the client management team. There was an ease of use in making edits to our program application that made the process very smooth!
Cons: I wish there were certain features to pull data in a more simplified way to ensure that our team can get what they need in quicker turnaround time.

The system was already in place when I joined the organization, and I was immediately impressed by how well-structured it is from a donor-management perspective. The reporting features are particularly valuable, providing clear, actionable insights into donor lifecycle, engagement levels, and our overall donor pipeline. Whether I’m looking at individual relationships or reviewing aggregate, year-over-year trends, NewOrg makes it easy to understand where we’ve been, where we are, and where the opportunities are. The platform streamlines tasks that are often scattered across multiple tools, saving time and improving accuracy. Everything from tracking interactions to monitoring giving history feels integrated and thoughtfully designed for nonprofit work.
Cons: Honestly, this platform streamlines our donor management and increases efficiencies across the entire process. I don't see any single place where we would be better off without the system.

I use NewOrg every day for grant management, and I don't know what I would do without it. I manage a lot of document attachments, and NewOrg helps me stay organized.
Pros: NewOrg is a great way for our organization to share information across teams. It makes finding the information we need easy and consistent. The customer support team is responsive to our requests, and they work hard to help us develop reports and other components that make our work efficient.
Cons: NewOrg is a little dated in its look, but aesthetics are a small thing in comparison to functionality.

If we could do it all over again, we would pick NewOrg. It was the only platform that met our unique organizational needs and our budget. The personalized onboarding process was a surprising bonus that we didn't expect.
Pros: As a nonprofit, we did a lot of research on softwares prior to choosing NewOrg. NewOrg fit our budget while also meeting all of our "wish list" features. We were thrilled with the onboarding process, which was personalized and interactive. A huge bonus is the ongoing support provided for a very reasonable cost after launch. The platform is easy to use, and any time we have questions, our dedicated support person is quick to respond.
Cons: We initially sought a software that made it easier to build our own customized reports. However, it's very easy to submit a support ticket for a customized report, and the support team is very responsive.

Pros: I appreciate that there is a public facing portal for the people we serve to better access resources and support. This feature will streamline our services. I appreciate the extra effort the implementation team took to create a specific portal for the social workers we partner with outside our organization to also support this process.
Cons: We are still learning the reporting feature and what we can and cannot do on our own. While every request we've made has been met, I'm hoping become a better user of this system with the ability to independently pull information.

10/10 - I felt seen and heard as a customer and the 1:1 set up training and support was so helpful. It really made me feel like [sensitive content hidden] took an interest in our non-profit and supported us in setting our system up to suit our team the best.
Pros: When working with [sensitive content hidden] It gave me comfort that he took the time to learn about our organization and what we would most benefit from on neworg.
Cons: The one thing that I would say I like the least is that when importing data from our previous database there are several duplicates and I have to manually go through and clean that up.

We cannot say enough positive praise about New Org. The entire onboarding team and support team have been responsive, communicative, and incredibly collaborative through the process. From hearing our specific needs and supporting overall scoping, to determining feasibility of wishlist items and how it would impact other parts of our portal integration, the team has been true partners from start to finish. Everything we ask for has been truly vetted, tested, and provided, and the ongoing support through the quick response to their ticket support system has been efficient. We are very happy with this system and truly cannot express enough how transformative the integration of New Org has been for our organization.
Pros: New Org has provided incredible transparency into the fiscal health of our organization, as wall as our current status. The real-time reporting, quick support responses to tickets, integration with other systems, and user-friendly functionality has been transforming our ability to provide urgent assistance needs to our clients, and to provide excellent customer service.
Cons: There is nothing not working to meet the needs of our organization within New Org. They have truly catered the platform to meet our unique program needs, and we have worked collaboratively to continue to expand our platform to better support our stakeholders.
