My experience has been excellent. We've been with MonkeyPod for a couple of years now. The customer service is great, the platform functions as advertised and the team is obviously committed to their clients.
Pros: Monkeypod is a great tool for non-profit organizations to manage every aspect of their business in one place. Tools for marketing and communications, accounting, budgeting, fundraising, and grant tracking are all housed within the same platform and all communicate with each other in an organized and intuitive way. The support team is also very knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

MonkeyPod is a great tool for most all of our backoffice needs. Anytime we've had a question or needed something tweaked, they have responded. I love that there are people accessible to assist. Welcome Wednesdays are the best idea I have ever seen any software company employ.
Pros: The Grant Tracker has made the grant process from application through final reporting much more manageable. Also tracking funds spent from restricted grants is a breeze.
Cons: Finding and defining our sources of income at year end so that it balances to what our accountant is looking for can be a struggle for me.

Fantastic! MonkeyPod offers great services (email, donor management, etc.) at a reasonable rate. Plus, the staff seem very invested in our success with the platform and as an organization raising funds.
Pros: Responsive staff - they are quick to assist. We migrated from another system and it was flawless. Pricing is reasonable, too - we are saving a considerable amount over what we paid in prior years. We are using the email feature and have found it to be easy to navigate. Searching for donors is simple and they were categorized appropriately when the database was moved over to MonkeyPod.
Cons: Because we send regular USPS mail, we need donors mailing address. The system for people to sign up for email newsletters doesn't capture the USPS address. Unless there is a setting for that and we haven't yet found it...

Pros: Easy to use and unparalleled value for the cost. Takes some learning, but has robust support and a helpful community. The consolidation from umpteen paid services to just one has not only saved money, but simplified workflows.
Cons: Because MonkeyPod wears so many hats, specialization in some fields can be limited, but a hidden benefit of MP is that it's always in development and looking for ways to improve. Over the course of several years of use I have had the opportunity to appreciate several major software upgrades.

Monkeypod has been an extremely valuable tool for managing our donor and grant data. They provide robust tutorial content as well as support from their team when we have questions. At a more affordable price point than many competitors, Monkeypod has been a great solution for our organization.
Pros: The customer service is great - I'm very supported by their team with any questions they have, and they allow us to suggest new features and vote on other users' feature requests.
Cons: I would like to see more linking within the platform. (For example, when listing a point of contact on a corporate or foundation relationship, I would like that to link to the individual's profile). Notably, though, this particular quirk can be addressed by "householding" various entities within the system, and like I stated before, they welcome feature requests so I wouldn't be surprised if they included this update in the future.

Pros: MonkeyPod is people-centric and provides great customer service. I donʻt feel like just a number. I also like that you can combine the CRM with bookkeeping.
Cons: Onboarding takes a while but they are very helpful. Itʻs also taking me time to get used to the new methods of reporting, as well as some recording differences from my last CRM.

Their customer service is fantastic! Very responsive and thoughtful, always eager to hear feedback for improvement while also responding (quickly!) to challenges that arise.
Pros: The integration of fundraising, finance, and marketing all in one place is incredible. No other service does this! Moreover, their preset accounting structure helps small nonprofits learn how to correctly record transactions in line with GAAP standards. With unlimited users, your whole team can work on initiatives together. And the platform's API integration allows for so many opportunities for integration with additional services -- some already built, but the option to build new ones for an affordable rate always available. I love that we can manage our memberships, donations, customers, vendors, and employees all in one place.
Cons: The platform is still relatively new and they continue to build out areas and fix bugs, as well as address usability. It's a work in progress, but what it offers is still far greater than what's out there currently.

I've been very satisfied with MonkeyPod. It was intimidating at first, as I've found these types of platforms challenging in the past, but once I got onboarded it was a cinch. I really appreciate the personalized attention when I have an issue that needs addressing. And their onboarding videos are great. I've been recommending MP to everyone I know!
Pros: Easy to use, great customer support, great donor management, well-geared towards non-profits like ours!
Cons: I wish there were more ticketing platform options, as I've not loved working with Eventbrite so far. But otherwise everything has been great!

Monkeypod is a CRM that has great capabilities and ever-growing capabilities. The staff seems to genuinely care about supporting nonprofits in their efforts to achieve their mission
Pros: Value for money, ease of use, donor management, tracking interactions, ease of getting assistance when needed to help with learning curves, responsiveness to feedback, integrative capabilities with apps and workspaces
Cons: The only con I can think of is that there is a lot to learn for people not familiar with CRMs. Monkeypod is pretty responsive and has videos to help aid there. Also, there is a bit of a learning curve with newsletter creation

I think our overall experience with Monkeypod has been wonderful, we haven't had any major problems navigating through it or managing our tasks, we are excited to see what helpful updates monkeypod has in store for us!
Pros: Mostly is the customer service, I mean their software works great and provides a lot of services for our non-profit organization. But they're customer service is always so helpful and are fast at responding!
Cons: One thing is they changed the Relationship page, now it's hard for me to "search" for a customer in the data base.

As someone with ZERO nonprofit background before my previous role, I would rate my MonkeyPod experience a 10/10. Between the great support team, easy email management, donor management, and everything else in between MonkeyPod is definitely a great tool for my job!
Pros: I love how user friendly MonkeyPod is! It is easy to navigate and whenever I do have questions the MonkeyPod Support team is always so quick to respond and help! The page design is simple in the best ways and for the price, this is a 10/10.
Cons: There is a slight learning curve, but honestly once you get past that I have no complaints. Monkeypod's youtube channel covered a great amount and helped me understand how to use it before I even started, so the learning curve didn't last long!

Helpful onboarding and support, they're attentive and respond quickly to anything I've needed assistance with!
Pros: We love the ability to have a much more robust donor and client management system. Built in donation capabilities and email campaign software are huge bonuses to have included too. We're looking forward to exploring the accounting side in more depth soon.
Cons: We'd love to see more options to customize and build out the fundraising/donation pages. A tool to plan and manage in person fundraising event would be a great addition too (ticket sales, online auction, etc).

Overall our experience with MonkeyPod has been very positive! Can highly recommend this CRM to other nonprofits.
Pros: The MonkeyPod team has been very helpful and whenever we have questions they are promptly answered. The donor tracking and grant tracking tools make our jobs easier and are much simpler than our previous CRM. We also appreciate that the subscription does not lock us into a multiyear contract.
Cons: There is a learning curve for using some of the new tools and the transfer over has been lengthy- but the support along the way has made that smoother.

Easy to use and search for what you need. Just need to know where to look. Adding new resources is easy and we can limit what people can see and update. As the Treasurer I find it much easier to use than other products and I can add tags and notes to transactions.
Pros: I find it easy to use and as the Treasurer it does both the debit and credit side of a transaction so I only have to do one. Easy to search relationships and it identifies possible duplicates. We create email campaigns and use them throughout the year. Even our less techie people are able to use it.
Cons: I would like to be able to create custom reports and be able to reuse them. I would like to add an item dropdown in the search of financial records.

MonkeyPod customer and technical service is fantastic. We have needed to reach out periodically for tech support and billing support. The responses are always quick, friendly, and on point.
Pros: We are a small nonprofit mental health research organization that has used MonkeyPod for at least 5 years. We use it for donor management, CRM, email marketing, educational newsletters, and our financial records. The integration is seamless. This is essential, as we have limited staffing and do not want to be burdened with multiple exports and imports. Initially we used the Gusto payroll integration function, which worked beautifully. We have discontinued this since reconfiguring out compensation structure.
Cons: Our only "con," turned out to be a "pro" in disguise. As our revenue dropped we found it difficult to sustain the subscription cost; however, a quick chat with the billing team resulted in a creative solution that reduced our costs, yielded a credit, and allowed us to maintain the business relationship.

As a small NFP, MonkeyPod has helped us stabilize our financial resources, maximize our network and respond with alacrity and care for all our constituents. It has proven invaluable.
Pros: We find the integration of the CRM, Finances, fundraising, email and newsletter subscriptions as well as the automation throughout make MonkeyPod a standout. We easily switched from Quicken, Calendly, Active Campaign and several apps into one seamless integration. We easily connect with our donors and are super grateful to MonkeyPod!
Cons: The Bookkeeping has been slightly less intuitive than I had hoped and still requires some manual attention each month. We have international accounts and complex invoicing which is now largely automated thanks to MonkeyPod.

Overall experience is A+++. The weekly open tech support calls are a life saver with software that does so much and, when that just isn't quite enough, the staff are ALWAYS happy to help. I have never gotten support for any software at this high level.
Pros: Monkeypod is a very comprehensive application designed with non-profits in mind. It has enabled us to move away from many spreadsheets and log files, merging most everything into one inter-related software package. Now our finances are better controlled, grant funding is more efficient, and communications with clients, funders, supporters, and volunteers easy. And we are still learning what more the system can do.
Cons: Occasionally system improvements are integrated without notifying users. This causes a bit of confusion.

I'd rate as above average. Hoping the e-mail integration will improve as the team works on new features and improvements.
Pros: donor management combined with bookkeeping makes it much easier to get snapshot views of our financials and its impact from our donors.
Cons: The email integration. I get a ton of bouncebacks that I never got from the WIX platform. WIX is a lot more dynamic also when it comes to newsletter design. So, sadly I will continue to create my newsletters in WIX which means MP isn't the total all-in-one I was hoping for.

Overall, the company is a nonprofit partner first, they focus on relationship building and deliver a great product.
Pros: I supported the purchase and implementation of MP. Great communications ([sensitive content hidden] was a gem). It is intuitive for anyone who has some database experience, has native email management, pipeline building tools but also connects with your other fav. tools like eventbrite, jotform. easy to use. Financial Management is a part of the database - which is rare. I also like that Monkeypod is a great partner in the nonprofit ecosystem, not just as a product provider. Their commitment to supporting small nonprofits is commendable.
Cons: Some of the web integration features were simplistic and didn't allow customization. It could have also been a limitation on our side.

Overall, we have had a great experience with MonkeyPod. The system seems more user-friendly than the previous system we were using. The team has been great to work with through the entire process, and we would encourage others to give the system a try.
Pros: MonkeyPod offers a discount for our specific area for the first year, which makes it very affordable for the time being. While we are still learning the system, we have loved the customer service that we have received from the MonkeyPod team. We are still in the process of cleaning up all of our data, but we already can tell that the system in the long run with will easier to use and teach to other staff members over time.
Cons: I don't believe this is specific to MonkeyPod, but just having to learn a new system can be complicated. We transitioned from one system that we didn't love, but we understood, and as we are getting comfortable with MonkeyPod, it just takes a long time to learn the system.

I consider myself a lifelong fan of MonkeyPod, and it is going to be hard for me to switch to any other platform. Even when I am looking to customize platforms based on company needs, MonkeyPod is there for it. I truly am a huge fan and feel like a weird spokesperson every time I get asked by others what solutions I have for X problems or challenges, the answer is almost always MonkeyPod. Other platforms are great too, but MonkeyPod is simply the best on the market right now, and their attention to detail and responsiveness to their base make it impossible to surpass IMO.
Pros: As someone with a 15+ year background in operations, I cannot tell you how amazing it is to actually find a platform that acts as a one-stop shop for organizational needs. It is honestly hard to pick one thing that I like most about MonkeyPod, and honestly, that isn't me blowing smoke. I truly adore the personalized service (literally, anyone I have contacted on the staff is friendly, personable, and eager to help). Beyond that, the functionality is extremely intuitive and the learning curve was not steep for things me or my team were not familiar with. Donor management is a breeze and highly customizable, email campaigns sync nicely, and modular pricing makes it easy to customize your experience to fit your organization's needs and budget.
Cons: I think the only con that I can see is that the development of their newer modular add-ons isn't as fast as I want it to be, purely selfish on my part. I would love to see more apps and integrations, but that is also the beautiful thing about MonkeyPod - they actively listen to what their users want most, and their development is based on those needs.
