Used for enterprise network monitoring in the NHS. mostly for Cisco network switches, UPS units, Wifi and other key network components
Pros: This is ram packed full for features and is low cost. includes IPAM, cab layouts as well as what most equivalent other SNMP / network monitoring tools have
Cons: Certain areas can be clunky, but overall the GUI is simple to navigate which outweighs this. cannot find too many faults. Witnessed an issues with a Wifi Vendor's WAPs consuming more licensing than it should have.

It will help us to managing our infra monitoring with integration of the ticketing tools. Configuration managing and alerts massage will help us to keep safe our infra.
Pros: OpManager is most likely very useful things for monitoring entire infra in a single dashboard. Also easy to configure.
Cons: OpManager plus is easy to integration of new device and also set the threshold limit of those devices.

It's been great for monitoring servers, up/down and especially storage used, cpu, and memory. Alerts on our phones has been very useful compared to getting email alerts.
Pros: Overall a good product at a good price. I like that it works well enough and the cost isn't excessive.
Cons: I've had challenges getting SNMPV3 to work and vendor provided MIBs. This may not be a problem with the software. That is to be determined.

Overall, my experience with ManageEngine OpManager Plus has been very positive. It is a reliable and feature-rich network monitoring solution that provides strong visibility and control over infrastructure. Despite some initial complexity, it delivers excellent performance, scalability, and flexibility once properly configured, making it a valuable tool for IT operations and network management.
Pros: ManageEngine OpManager Plus offers excellent stability and scalability, making it suitable for both small and large environments. It is highly flexible and supports a wide range of integrations, ensuring strong compatibility with different network devices and systems. The interface is user-friendly, and the monitoring capabilities provide clear visibility into network performance and health.
Cons: While ManageEngine OpManager Plus is powerful, it can sometimes feel complex during initial setup and configuration. Certain advanced features require additional customization, which may take time to fully optimize. In some cases, scalability improvements can come with increased resource consumption, and compatibility with niche or legacy devices may require manual adjustments.

My entire team feels it is better than the previous tool we where using. Better interface, reporting and alerting.
Pros: Being able to setup SNMP credentials once and then being able to apply them as we add new devices is great. Feels like the we are getting better allerts with OPManger Plus
Cons: There is a learning curve, but that comes with any new product you would place into production. If you have used Monitoring software in the past, should not be an issue.

Overall, my experience with ManageEngine OpManager Plus has been positive. It is a powerful tool for monitoring network devices and traffic, and the dashboards and reports provide useful insights into network performance. While some configuration tasks can take time, it is still a reliable solution for managing and monitoring IT infrastructure.
Pros: What I liked most about ManageEngine OpManager Plus is the dashboards and visibility it gives over the network. The dashboards make it easy to monitor device health and performance, and I especially liked being able to see real-time traffic between different sites. The reporting features are also useful for analyzing network performance and troubleshooting issues.
Cons: What I liked least is the alert configuration. I struggled to set up alerts to be sent to my email, which makes it difficult to receive notifications when something goes wrong on the network. I eventually managed to figure it out though.

: Once configured, it becomes a powerful, centralized monitoring solution that improves IT efficiency and reduces firefighting. It’s scalable, cost-effective, and well-suited for organizations that want a single pane of glass for IT operations.
Pros: The dashboards and reports are intuitive and customizable. It integrates IP address management, bandwidth analysis, and configuration management in one place.
Cons: 1.Learning Curve: With so many features packed in, new users may find it overwhelming at first 2.Although dashboards are customizable, certain advanced reporting or integrations may require extra effort.

Good application to monitor the entire infrastructure. Hassle free configuration. Excellent support services. Easy to track network devices
Pros: Good application for monitoring Infrastructure devices. Alerting and notification features are excellent.
Cons: Customer support could be improved. Live chat support is much expected to be more developed. Better customer handling and spontaneous resolutions.

it is great to do monitoring for network devices that has the OIDs loaded in the tool, but there are some basic things like monitor some devices only by ping to a specific ip address that are difficult to do.
Pros: It can go deeply monitoring for certain services and features, it has been useful for my network monitoring and alerting
Cons: The columns adjustment is a nightmare, if you have devices with long names, you can’t see the name properly and to expand the columns is very dificult. Also there is not posible to have a live graphic for availability, latency and/or packet loss.

Pros: Really great product at a good price. We are able to monitor all admin level devices in our environment with real time alerts to monitor network traffic and ensure device uptime is maximized. Customer support is quick to get back to us with answers, it is a real easy to use product.
Cons: There are some minor nice to have features that are lacking, so we will see how responsive their development team is to feature suggestion.

Overall, I am quite pleased with OpManger - both the product, and the team - I had a bit of a learning curve when I was first assigned the responsibility of managing this critical system, but this was due to my lack of inexperience with it - the ITOM training I received at a local conference helped immensely.
Pros: Customer Service - ITOM has been excellent to work with and we have overcome many challenges together
Cons: What I like least is the lack of Dark Mode in the UI, but I know they are working on adding this to future editions
Coleen S. · Network Operations Engineer · Hospital & Health Care · January 19, 2026

I have used several ManageEngine products and they all have worked well. Customer support has always been very responsive. We will likely be adding more applications in the future.
Pros: the ability to monitor services, hardware utilization, as well as the overall ease of use of the program. Support is very responsive.
Cons: the network monitoring system add on is a little out of our price range for what we needed to monitor.

Pros: It seems easy to use compared to solarwinds. We recently made the switch due to the value for our money.
Cons: We don't like that you have to add a device in for each plugin. Seems like 15 different products mixed into 1 without the best implementation on the setup.
Corey H. · Network Engineer · Information Technology and Services · October 27, 2025
Pros: It works properly, every bug rpoert is resolved. You can customize solution to your need and expand it with the necessary components.

Great experience at a great price, absolutely recommended, if you also have other ManageEngine applications, getting used to the interfaces is all easy
Pros: General monitoring, variety of devices and integration possibilities, with all the various possible alerts and monitoring, it's really a great tool
Cons: Not too easy to set up, of course it is only the first step, after that it is all very well done, but the first step to program everything is not so intuitive
Mattia P. · IT Operations Manager · Food Production · July 17, 2025
Overall experience is excellent. I feel confident of having a tap on my network all the time & do not get any surprises at any time.
Pros: Easy to use, gives full visibility of the Network to you, Easy to do configurational functions like auto Backups & loading backups, keeps you updated about the network by forwarding notifications to your email.
Cons: Portview of the ports with multiple MAC addresses connected to it can be presented in a better way. Similarly, MAPs can be depicted in a better way.
