Pros: The ability to monitor VMs and list the alerts depends on the VM. Also, it was helping us to monitor SQL

Cons: The UI was old, and there is room to improve the user experience in the silences.

Pros: The flexibility, the accuracy, the in depth things that can be checked on monitored with. There are many different type of alerts that seem limited by the users imagination. We monitor such infrastructure metrics such as CPU/Mem/Disk/Network/IO. The scripting is extremely powerful.

Cons: The learning curve is EXTREMELY steep! But that comes with the fact that the more flexibility a tool has, the more complicated it can be. The tool does not have the functionality of auto discovery, be it active or decommed servers. The script writing is a bit difficult to learn, but you can at least try to use the wizard that is built in.

Pros: LogicMonitor can capture a wide variety of stats from endpoints. It is also easy to navigate and quick to respond.

Cons: It was incredibly complucated to do custom reports and charts. There were specific guides on their site for a variety of systems but I needed something out of the box.

Pros: LogicMonitor has been an exceptional alerting and monitoring solution. I am impressed by the amazing capabilities of LogicMonitor.

Cons: LogicMonitor has been functioning effectively. LogicMonitor is the best.

Pros: A free trial is available. It provides a great interface for dashboards and visualizations with reporting. Easy to use and install without any specific requirements. It provides the opportunity for real-time reporting, usage, and cloud infrastructure monitoring.

Cons: There is no information on pricing and plans. You need to contact sales/support to get a quote. Pricing seems a bit higher than other options. It requires a good and stable internet connection to function smoothly.

Pros: I like the smooth and timely alerts The log management features as well as network management works well I like the website monitoring capabilities and the fact that LogicMonitor makes server monitoring easy

Cons: It is not as easy to use for the non IT staff

Pros: Flexible data sources is probably in my opinion the greatest feature of LM. Not only can you easily modify existing ones but write your own to monitor really anything that has an IP.

Cons: The incremental increase in cost is starting to push us to start look at doing some/all of our monitoring with other tooling. Additionally, the kubernetes cost model is encouraging us to bake monitoring software into our clusters and remove those clusters from Logic Monitor.

Pros: The customer support is the best I have ever seen. Free training in the application and ability to meet with LM technical trainers to help with any questions.

Cons: I find some reporting not intuitive but it is probably me.

Pros: LogicMonitor provides a robust feature set that collects a lot of functionality in a single pane of glass and provides visibility, analysis, alerting, connectivity and functionality all at once.

Cons: LogicMonitor is significantly more expensive than some competitors for similar products and has a less robust user base as far as developing custom attributes and items, so there can be some delay between when an appliance or product is on the market and when it's readily available for monitoring in LogicMonitor.

Pros: I love how I can easily see the health of a system or application and get alerted when thresholds are met

Cons: Sometimes it can be hard finding what you're looking for when you have a lot of systems and applications

Pros: Easy to add new devices. SNMP profiles preconfigured for most popular manufacturers. Great dashboarding and customization.

Cons: A little tricky to write your own custom monitoring modules independently. However, good product support and knowledgeable deployment success teams.

Pros: I like that we have very good visibility into what our servers are doing at all times. The alerting is quick and lets us know when something is wrong. I also like the formatting of the alert emails and the fact that you can reply with certain language to take action on the alert, right from your email!

Cons: I was trying to monitor the event viewers and alert when it sees a specific event. So far, we've been having troubles with the collector being able to get those metrics without timing out.Also, the log viewer is extremely complex and not intuitive.

Pros: Ease of use, easily tune alerts, no need to add datasources as the ones we need are pre populated

Cons: Sometimes too noisy, alot of work tuning

Pros: The monitoring interface, ease of finding servers.

Cons: Integrating servers into application can be clunky.
