As an Alternate Administrator, my overall experience with Alora has been strong. The platform gives our leadership team better visibility into workflows, documentation, and compliance, which has improved accountability and oversight. It has helped bring structure to our operations and made managing our agency more manageable and consistent.
Pros: What I like most about Alora Home Health is that it provides a centralized system for scheduling, clinical documentation, and compliance. Everything lives in one place, which makes coordination between field staff and office staff much smoother and reduces confusion and duplicate work.
Cons: At this stage, we are still in the early phases of learning and implementing Alora, so we have not yet identified any significant drawbacks. As we use the system more over time, we may better understand areas for improvement.
Kait-lynn F. · Alternate Administrator · Hospital & Health Care · February 6, 2026
We were new in the Home Health space and was hounded by Alora marketing rep to sign up even before we received our license. Not even weeks after signing up. we realized Alora will not be a good fit afterall, but Alora refused to refund the $1,700 setup fee.
Pros: We did not get to use the software for real patients. We were still training. I would not do any business with them.
Cons: Their predatory practices. Customer service after you sign up. They refused to refund set-up fee even after one of their manager agreed they will refund.

Terrible. Overall, not a great experience. Complex system. failed promotions, billing fraud with inaccurate census representation.
Pros: You can adjust paperwork and time easily. They are available easily during initial sign-up and training, but difficult to catch when you really need them.
Cons: Billing department experience is horrible. They see a diiference census from what you actually have and charge you higher than they are supposed to. Customer service will say someone will call you, but you'll hardly get a call back. The customer is never right from their perspective, rather their metric is. Your patient data automatically disappears/ inactivate in their software.

Using Alora Home Health has really transformed how our agency runs. It’s not just software, it’s become the backbone of our daily operations. Tasks that used to take hours, like reconciling visits and managing documentation, are now much faster and more accurate. The visibility it gives into staff productivity and patient care has made decision-making easier and more strategic. Overall, it’s helped us run a smoother, more efficient agency while keeping both our team and our patients happier.
Pros: What I like most about Alora Home Health is that it keeps everything in one place. Scheduling, clinical documentation, and billing all work together seamlessly, which makes managing our agency much easier. It’s intuitive to use, reduces paperwork, helps ensure compliance, and the support team is responsive whenever we need help. Overall, it really streamlines daily operations and saves time.
Cons: What I like least about Alora Home Health is that some tasks take extra clicks, and certain reports or customizations are a bit limited. The interface can feel a little dated. These are minor issues, but improving them would make the overall experience even smoother.
Emmanuel A. · Office Administrator and EMR Support · Hospital & Health Care · December 18, 2025
My overall experience with Alora Home Health has been positive. The system effectively streamlines both clinical and administrative workflows, making it easier to manage patient care, documentation, scheduling, and billing all in one platform. I particularly appreciate the mobile and offline charting capabilities for field clinicians and the quality assurance tools that help maintain compliance and accurate documentation. While there is a learning curve and some areas—like reporting, form customization, and certain billing workflows—could be more intuitive, the benefits in efficiency, integration, and oversight outweigh the challenges. Overall, Alora has been a reliable and valuable tool for supporting our home health operations.
Pros: What I liked most about Alora Home Health is its all-in-one platform that streamlines both clinical and administrative workflows. The integration of OASIS assessments, visit documentation, EVV, scheduling, and billing in a single system significantly reduces the need for multiple tools and improves efficiency. I also appreciate the mobile and offline charting capabilities, which make it easier for clinicians in the field to document accurately and in real time. Additionally, the quality assurance and compliance features, such as the OASIS analyzer and pre-billing QA checks, help ensure accurate documentation and reduce errors before they impact reimbursement. Overall, the system makes managing home health operations more organized, compliant, and user-friendly.
Cons: What I liked least about Alora Home Health is that some areas of the system can feel clunky or unintuitive, particularly when navigating between multiple tabs or modules. The learning curve for new users can be steep, especially for clinicians who are primarily focused on patient care. Additionally, while the system offers robust functionality, certain features—like form customization, alerts, and advanced reporting—could be more flexible or easier to configure. Finally, the billing and A/R workflows can be somewhat complex, requiring extra attention to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The program is user-friendly and is easy to use, if you don't overthink it. There are a lot of good features and has the potential to be a great, competitive software, if the company is willing to change/add more features to enhance what the program already has and does on both the clinical and billing spectrums.
Pros: The program is easy to use and comprehend. Our company had no training with the implementation of the software, but we have been able to navigate most of it on our own and assist our staff with being proficient as well.
Cons: There are several areas that are a hard stop unless certain information has been entered and will potentially need to be changed later, which causes extra steps for the clinician, as well as anyone auditing the charts.
Sara M. · Business Office Manager · Hospital & Health Care · October 27, 2025
Positive, there are a few items that could be improved upon but for the most part it has been a positive experience.
Pros: The ease of use, the software is pretty easy to navigate around. You can pretty much figure it out without extensive training.
Cons: Lack of communication within software. If you change a primary diagnosis on the oasis and forget to update it on the admission screen it will stop you from sending NOA's out. This information should auto populate and communicate together.
Samantha L. · Director of Nursing, RN · Hospital & Health Care · October 27, 2025
Pros: simplicity of its makes charting much easier and nothing super crazy to handle. The staff love that.
Cons: too simple. not enough detail work for my liking. we need more things to ensure auditing and compliance

Everything Alora promised about migrating to their platform has proven 100% accurate—no hype, just results. Their team has been phenomenal throughout the transition, exceeding expectations at every turn and providing hands-on support that made the process seamless. We're blown away by their unparalleled customer service and couldn't be happier with our decision to switch. Alora isn't just a software provider; they're a genuine partner in success!
Pros: $7a
Cons: None whatsoever! We've had zero issues—Alora has exceeded expectations in every way. They have exceeded our expectations in every aspect.
CAPRI M. · Director of Nursing · Hospital & Health Care · October 17, 2025
I have had a very positive experience using Alora. I appreciate that we can always get help by a live CSR, and we are never required to start a ticket and wait for assistance.
Pros: Alora Home Health is extremely user friendly. In this industry every moving part may need to be done in multiple ways. Alora does a wonderful job at coming up with solutions to these challenges.
Cons: While posting remittances we are unable to apply the payments to individual line items (dates of service). You can only post to the general invoice/claim. There is a comment line, but it does not allow enough space to give needed detail. This makes it harder to complete claim follow up.
Laura K. · Reimbursement Recovery and Compliance Director · Medical Practice · October 14, 2025
We have relied on them since our company was founded. I want to emphasize how user-friendly the software is for both clinicians and administrators. It offers a wide range of features that are straightforward to use, without requiring you to adopt unnecessary measures or tracking options you don't need. Many tracking options and features can be enabled or disabled, allowing you to customize the system to fit your agency's and individual clinicians' requirements. The help desk and support team stand out for their exceptional friendliness and expertise. They have training videos which I use to orient staff initially to the software. The on boarding for each new feature is extremely thorough and not rushed. I cannot say enough about my satisfaction.
Pros: Alora is our electronic medical records software for our home health care agency. It has ease of tracking items such as signatures and staff credentials to stay up to date and compliant with CMS requirements. It has e-fax abilities to send documents needing signatures to physicians. It has easy oasis uploading and billing abilities and tracking. It takes care of our EVV requirements.Alora has been an ideal software, meeting all the needs of our home health care agency.
Cons: I like it all overall but if you want something that is flashy, alora isn't it. At the beginning it left a lot to want for PT/OT documentation but they are continually taking feedback and making improvements.
Felicia D. · RN Administrator · Hospital & Health Care · September 26, 2025
We have had an excellent experience with Alora from our very first training. I like the ability to look at a quick training video on my own. I appreciate the ability to call for help and to even plan a session of training assistance. Everyone is very prompt to respond and very efficient and friendly. I am very happy with overall customer service. Everyone is knowledgeable and able to answer my questions.
Pros: Alora is very user-friendly. The ease of it was particularly helpful during our implementation phase and whenever we train new employees. It is wonderful to show them how easy it is to master.
Cons: I do often want to print a calendar or schedule for a client and the way we set up our billing codes as a company ends up showing rates in the calendar. I wish that I could print a calendar that did not show hourly rates. There is a solution but again it is because of how we set up our billing codes we would've had to set those up differently during implementation or redo them all now.

Most unprofessional. I cxl'd before use and they are charging me $5000 including $1700 sign up fee. SAD
Pros: I HAVE NO PROS TO COMMENT REGARDING ALORA SOFTWARE. I HAVE TRIED TO CANCEL AND I AM BEING CHARGED THOUSANDS.
Cons: Not accessible for private nursing and realized this in 1st training session. CXL feel is $5000. SAD

Cons: Je n'ais rencontré aucune difficulté en utilisant ALORA

Pros: Customer Support - Hands down the best customer support there is
Cons: reporting- Improvement needs made to reports
Melissa S. · Biller, Credit Collection Specialist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · May 23, 2024
As stated, the software functionally does what it is represented to do, but the customer service makes a client feel like they do not care. Do not expect a solid level of communication or service with this product.
Pros: Software does the basics of what it is represented to do.
Cons: Implementation was a long, unorganized process, where it took a long time for us to be able to bill. Customer service and responsiveness to issues, questions, etc. is very bad. Communication? Good luck getting a call back. We were setup for auto bill and still received notices that we were past due. We called THREE times and finally our bill was just processed - no follow-up, no here's what happened, no communication on it at all.

Alora provides assistance to all our queries, they are always willing to help!
Pros: User-friendly interface. Alora customer service team are the best! They will find ways to assist you and resolve your concern.
Cons: There's room for improvements, on which Alora people are very willing to file a feature suggestion. Alora team gladly listens to what we need for an effective charting. Having Alora as our electronic medical record for both Home Health and Hospice is awesome!
Joy P. · Office Manager · Hospital & Health Care · May 4, 2024
Very poor experience with Alora. Unprofessional behavior experienced from Alora team by ignoring to help us fix the issues that keep occurring on a daily basis lately.
Pros: At first, it appeared Alora staff were professional and timely. Now, there are alot of ignored requests to resolve issues.
Cons: Management concern and corrections of issues. Appears management could care less about the stress the issues are causing the agency.
Mary N. · President · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 10, 2024
I enjoy using alora to write evaluations. It’s an easy and practical software to use for evaluating and documenting
Pros: It’s easy to use and let’s you know if your missing any information
Cons: Can’t really think of anything I dislike
ANGIE B. · Occupational therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · February 5, 2024
Alora has exceeded my expectations in every way. I have used a lot of EMR systems in my career and Alora by far has the most user friendly, efficient platform for home care. The software is extremely easy to use and learn, encompasses everything my business needs to be efficient and compliant and is able to be customized to the specific needs of my agency. The implementation was seamless, organized and abundant with resources. Every person that I have worked with at Alora during the implementation process went above and beyond to ensure an excellent experience. Their customer support is easy to reach and available to help with everything I need. Alora also integrates perfectly with my payroll and billing systems. It streamlines the process for my nurses and allows them to spend their attention on their patients rather than difficult charting and paperwork. I couldn't be happier with my decision to partner with Alora!
Pros: My favorite aspect of Alora is its user-friendly interface and smooth navigation, which greatly improves our ability to efficiently manage patient care, documentation, and communication within our home healthcare agency. Additionally, Alora's robust features and customizable options empower us to tailor the software to our specific needs, enhancing our overall workflow and productivity.
Cons: What I find challenging about Alora is its cost structure, which is difficult for smaller home healthcare agencies or those operating on tighter budgets. While the software offers valuable features, the upfront licensing fees and ongoing subscription costs poses financial constraints for us as a start up company.
Nicole H. · CEO · Hospital & Health Care · February 1, 2024
Pros: I love how easy it is to hire someone in. Being able to put someone's credentials in a system and they are able to keep track of all the important things.
Cons: There is nothing that I dislike about Alora.
