My overall experience is amazing because all of the pros out weigh the cons of this software. Overall WellSky is amazing and I don’t have many complaints.
Pros: WellSky Personal Care is an amazing platform because it is laid out very well and it’s easy to use. The scheduling part is so easy to use and I love how there are so many reports you can review to see how everything is working for you.
Cons: Sometimes there are some glitches with WellSky and it makes it very difficult when you are scheduling because you will put in a shift and then it will revert back or it will disappear.

Pros: Ease of use with scheduling a caregiver was a huge plus using this platform. I’ve used it for personal.
Cons: It’s hard to tell at first if the caregivers on the app travels to your location but after an update it looks like that info is more accessible.

Very positive, it performs the needed tasks of a home health agency well. The WellSky team is top notch and very solution minded.
Pros: The support technicians they are very friendly and knowledgeable. The product performs the expected tasks well.
Cons: Wish for faster innovation in the product and quicker break fixes on revenue impacted breaks. Also, an upgrade to the client/caregiver model to other service models of office staff and client (ie medication calls for $300 a month) etc (in regards to billing/scheduling)

It has been very easy to navigate in the different areas we utilize frequently. We have found that the tutorial/help section has been very beneficial as well.
Pros: The new integrations over the last couple of years have been beneficial for our company. ie....billing & scheduling, customer support, bugs & issues. We have not had any security issues in the years with Clearcare and after WellSky took over.
Cons: Since the new Open EVV began 1 August 2025 we have had lag time while working in the Wellsky system.

It is generally great. Good communication and response to issues. Also, fantastic access to training online for product.
Pros: That it makes daily operation easy and efficient. It has allowed for better communication between field and office staff.
Cons: The lag that has been created when we went live with the open EVV system in Tennessee in August 2025.

Good. I don't have a lot of complaints on the care side, although there are some quirks. Most of my concerns are on the CRM side.
Pros: Pretty stable. Mostly easy to use. Signed up about a decade ago and made the switch because of the web based platform.
Cons: Mobile functionality. CRM platform needs a lot of upgrades. My other CRM's have a lot of AI functionality already built in for marketing.

Positive experience, much better in the past year with the upgrades and updates that have been integrated.
Pros: More user friendly now then perhaps 1 year ago. It makes the office staff job much easier to navigate thorughout the work day.
Cons: The recent lag in loading we have been experiencing since the open model EVV integration 1 month ago.

I would rather use something that actually takes you to.the correct addresss but i really didn't like how off everything was

I had WellSky for 8 years and at the beginning it was fine but as they try to get better there was issues that would not get resolved.
Pros: User friendly for 1st time user of a CRM system

We had a great experience with the software and with the response level of the customer service department.
Pros: It is a user-friendly software and easy to understand. It fulfills all needs for a homecare service provider to manage scheduling and care plans.
Cons: Sometimes, the reporting was not great; if you needed to make several reports halfway, you had to reset everything to get what you sought.

I’ve been using Wells guy for 6 1/2 years now. Everything about the software for me has been a huge game changer as a case manager to be able to track clients progress.
Pros: Ability to case note for our members and the easy use software.
Cons: Software offered every thing that was HIPAA compliant. But I would love to see more security.

Pros: Overall convenience but not 100%. Mileage is Not accurate. It undercuts mileage. Shows in meters. Definitely not accurate mileage reporting
Cons: The mileage calculations are NOT accurate. When you get paid mileage and its undercut. Ethically this is not okay at all

Just bad. I've never once called and connected with a live person. You have to leave a message and then they call you back. Usually that same day.
Pros: It is designed for home care. Other than that not much good to say.
Cons: I can't even begin to list them. but in order of importance to me: 1. communication with caregivers and clients is terrible. 2. user interface is from early 2000's 3. inconsistent branding. it's been many years, how about you move on from the clearcare brand? 4. Home Instead is a pretty large client. Maybe you could put our logo on the family room portal and invoice emails? Ugh. this list goes on.

We have grown our business using this software - but it has not been without challenges described elsewhere.
Pros: Broad feature set. It allows us to run the Client and Caregiver sides of the house, and to grow our Agency.
Cons: Limited reporting, but that seems to be improving. Often slow. [sensitive content hidden] was a horrible day - the software was out about 6 hours in the middle of the work day.

The clocking in should be attached to the documentation separately.
Pros: The saving so you don't have to do everything from scratch with really repetitive paperwork.
Cons: The spots where you can't save and the evv new signature clocking in is terrible.
