A solid platform that has a lot going for it. The staff interactions have been stellar with excellent time-of-response.
Pros: Intuitive, staff fast to respond to questions and problems, works well in the field, reports receive good reviews from realtors and clients alike.
Cons: More costly than some alternatives with the occasional glitches requiring re- installation of software (which is rare).

Using this program has added hours to my inspection time. In order to make it through a report in a reasonable amount of time, I have limited how many inspections I can take a week.
Pros: Thought really hard and long and the only thing I can think of is the programs ability to pull address information to get a fairly accurate assessment of the home.
Cons: The 30 minute wait to load the report in order to edit a report prior to publishing. Losing photos between the app on my phone and the website. Photos repeatedly fail to load into comments or load a black picture. Consistently fails to accurately log my work hours, I have to keep a separate tracker.

A+++++++ system. I LOVE every aspect of the system. The mobile V10 system is awesome with no latency ever!
Pros: I like EVERYTHING about Spectora! If your using other programs...just try Spectora. Great customer service AND the AI generated help system...answers all your questions VERY easily. Literally...not need to call...but if you do...they are quick to answer! Also, the AI generated descriptions for defects on a job are outstanding!
Cons: Nothing to say here...really. The software is great. The support is awesome. Discount for paying yearly and they are always staying ahead.

Extremely disappointing! !
Pros: The level or support provided to ramp up my use of the tool has been very impressive. The automated AI support as well as human support has been far more than sufficient.
Cons: I absolutely abhor the integration of biometrics into the payments portion of the tool. I have provided more than enough high quality PII (Personally Identifiable Information) to substantiate my ID and find the use of biometrics to be wholly unnecessary. Consumers really need to push back on the ever increasing use of biometric and smartphone technology to engage the marketplace. This is not China and I refuse to coalesce to allow surveillance to become a requisite of the American marketplace. If the ID "verification" I encountered cannot be remedied, I will be requesting a full refund of my one-year subscription.

Pros: I love how easy this system is to use. I get lots of good comments on how quick the clients get the report.
Cons: The only thing I need to do is learn how to add some other areas for my country inspections. I cannot think of anything I don't like

Pros: Spectora Software has made my life as a home inspector so much easier and made my business more streamlined. Before I had to do every individual email, inspection agreement form, and payment individually and by hand. This software and company are extremely user friendly and they have step by step instructions for everything.
Cons: The only couple of cons I have for Spectora are the fees. If a person wants to use automatic banking transfers, I have to pay the fee. Also if someone cancels an appointment after they paid I have to pay their cc fee back to them.

Solid to great until about 18 months ago. Lag times in customer service became and remain common. Don't bother trying to get timely assistance on the weekend if you're working.
Pros: Excellent format and presentation. Flexibility to manage the system and responses as desired in almost every case.
Cons: They have sold out to corporate interests and plan to sell our clients information and pull referral monies away from the agents that represent our clients in the process. Fixle is a poor word and an even worse option to pass along to the people doing the work. The fact Fixle was initially required gives many of us a real concern to think about, even if the pushed that back. Our company has begun shopping around for other solutions and anticipate a likely move in the future.

Fantastic. My clients are extremely happy about the format. The comments typically made reflect that it is easy to understand the report and access the reference photos
Pros: Easy access and easy alterations options. Fantastic support. Allows full operation in the field using the iPad or iPhone
Cons: Few more videos regarding the options/ education could be made. Some conflict appears to be occurring when trying to put iPhone camera on the wide angle. Easily overcome when used to it, however this glitch could be addressed

Spectora has sold out and become tone deaf to the wants of their actual customers - home inspectors. A 3rd party upsell in the form of a pop-up to the inspectors client is going to be the downfall of Spectora and they simply do not care. The inspector community has made it very clear we do not want this and Spectora is standing their ground despite a large number of inspectors, including myself, who will leave for a different software company because of this mandatory Fixle integration.
Pros: I liked Spectora when it was a product for inspectors. It made my life easier as the report flow is simple. Sometimes the principle of a bad thing outweighs anything and everything I may have liked about Spectora.
Cons: Spectora has decided they have the right to implement a mandatory pop-up window that MY clients will have to interact with when accessing their report. This ad is trying to sell the insurance, warranties, security systems etc to my clients from vendors I do not know and do not recommend.

Great until yesterday when they announced third party data mining which errodes the trust i have with my client.
Pros: A great report writing software that has just decided to use inspectors to make money through third pary mining. Looking elsewhere. Such a shame.
Cons: Lack of respect for the inspector by using our relationships to mine for data with no way to opt out.

Fixle is the problem! Spectora is pushing fixle on our customers that we worked hard to generate in order to sale 3rd party services to our customers. There is no opt out for feature which is a huge problem. The software is good, but the, pushing services on us will end Spectora fast which is too bad. I’m looking into Hive as my new software provider n
Pros: The software is probably one of the best in the industry. However, them pushing their agenda on us recently with the fixle debacle is gonna cause me to switch companies.
Cons: Spectora starting to push their own agenda on our customers. They’ve added fixle which is a way for them to make more money off of our hard work. They are using our customer base to advertise to them without the ability to opt out of their advertisement. It gives the impression That we are supporting their 3rd party partners, which we do not! This pushing of their rhetoric will ultimately be their downfall, and I would highly suggest you don’t use them until they have an opt out feature for fixle

Actively trying to cancel. They don’t care about their users, they don’t take our feedback into consideration.

Completely dissatisfied at this point and I am planning to find another option and migrate my business over.
Pros: Software has been great to use and a huge asset to my business. CRM and reporting are very streamlined even though there have been a few hickups along the way. Those things all still exist, but the announcement to force us to use Fixle overrides all the positives.
Cons: On 3/31/2026, they announced that they will be placing advertisements for services that they choose on our client portal pages. There will be no ability to opt out of this service. This is not acceptable for them to market to my customers without my express permission.

We love the system and the new AI features. It helps us keep our reports accurate, clean and up to date.
Pros: Picture oriented, easy to follow. Clients love the reporting format. In fact many agents come to us because of our reporting system.
Cons: At times we get glitches in the field during our reporting on inspections while we are using multiple inspectors.

The experience has been a very good one. Constantly making upgrades and are always available for questions you may have. And there are actual persons involved not just Bots
Pros: Spector can be tailored to the way you would like to set up your report. It also looks professional no matter your level.
Cons: Sometimes Spector goes down which can be frustrating however it usually doesn't last long and they keep you informed of what the issues are. Sometimes they have to the shut the system down for updates but that's usually in the middle of the night and they give you plenty of warning.

Wouldn't choose any other. We researched a number of different platforms and settled on Spectora. Have not been disappointed or even considered switching.
Pros: It is hands-down the most user-friendly software I've used and it produces outstanding results every time! The support team is the best anywhere and set the standard for customer service!!
Cons: Occasional hiccups in function. Lack of access to archived reports. Originally we were not able to connect our 5-star reviews to Google

Great. What I love most is my assistant and I being able to work on the same report at the same time in the field with constant, instant updates. Dependable. Reliable. Continued improvements. Good client feedback, especially on the color coding.
Pros: Spectora continually makes updates to make the app even more natural to flow through, to edit photos, etc. Some of the improvements are ones that I never would have thought of and yet are so helpful.
Cons: There are a few things I would like available on the app that are only available online, like adding tags.

I've used 4 inspection software apps in the field, and I've evaluated 2 more, and nothing comes close to Spectora. It is truly the industry standard for home inspection software. The presentation to the client, the viewability, the flow, the integrations with third party service, synchronization from the mobile app, it is as close to flawless as a program can come. The AI support feature, Fin, answers 99% of my questions, or helps me learn the software better. The templates are customizable. It is truly the gold standard for the industry, and nothing else comes close.
Pros: Customizable, Easy to Learn, Easy to Understand, Affordable, Great value for the money, automation, excellent synchronization between desktop and mobile app, easy to use in the field, magnificent presentation to client. The AI is out of this world good.
Cons: I've had two things go wrong in the several months I've used Spectora, and they were quickly addressed by the support staff.

They make it so easy to not even consider other software. It really is a 110% complete system with support and integration. Even us old guys just starting can do this.
Pros: I have only ever used Spectora in my inspection business. I have nothing to compare it to and have no desire to compare it to anything. I have felt welcomed and appreciated since day 1. They keep regular contact with me supporting my growth as a very new inspector and walk me through the process. The upfront costs were not difficult and the software is easy to use. They take questions from users and turn them into changes to update the software. I feel secure using their platform and look forward to continuing this growth. For the record, my business is 5 months old. They truly are holding my hand to get me up and running and I cannot appreciate them enough.
Cons: The templates in the beginning were too generic, and I have to do ongoing tweaking to get them where I need it for my business. They are much better now.

My overall experience has been great. The software works really well and the support that I get from their customer service staff is excellent. Anytime that I have had a question then they immediately helped me to get it resolved.
Pros: I really like Spectora for the scheduling, report writing and marketing to help me grow my Inspection business.
Cons: There’s really very little that I am not happy with, but since I have to put something here then I suppose the price could be a little bit lower. However, you get what you pay for and I really like the software for my Inspection business.

The reports are clean, professional, and easy for clients and agents to understand while still aligning with InterNACHI Standards of Practice. The mobile app is fast, customizable, and makes report writing efficient without sacrificing detail. clients consistently compliment the clarity of the reports, and the automation tools save a huge amount of time. The support staff is incredible and responds quickly, which makes a big difference when you're in the field. I highly recommend Spectora to any inspector who wants to work smarter and deliver quality reports.
Pros: The support staff is by far the best that could be out there. Hands down! They are always happy to help and with the greatest of attitudes. No matter what time of day!
Cons: There are still glitches in the ipad mobile app; however, the pro's far out way the issues. Spectora is constantly working hard to eliminate them.

Great, huge difference from the software i was using before. Very professional and has helped in the backround work such as sending emails and scheduling. There advanced portion of the software is game changing.
Pros: Spectora is a great software. I would recommend it to any one in the home insection business. My reports stand out compared to other software i have used in the past.
Cons: There is nothing i dont like about spectora software. I have had nothing but a great experience since i started.

Pros: Spectora is INCREDIBLY AMAZING. We love this platform and do not intend to switch. We receive so many calls to try out another software, but you guys are too awesome to even consider going with another company! Keep up the great work!
Cons: At times there is a small delay when choosing the photos from the gallery. Not a huge deal, just have to wait for the screen to "blink" then select the photos. It's like a 2-4 second lag.

I've been a user of spectora for over 5 years and my overall experience has been awesome, easy and this software fits my company needs!
Pros: Spectora offers user friendly options for reporting and information. Spectora frequently updates its software for better integration and clarity.
Cons: I wish there were an option to switch language for Hispanic/Espaniol clients. I I were able to complete a report and then have the option to switch the language to meet the needs of my clients or to make the report reading smoother for bi lingual clients.
