Pros: Mews is a modern, cloud-based pms with an intuitive interface. It’s easy for staff to learn and use, which reduces training time and improves operational efficiency. It has strong integrations and automations available through the MEWS marketplace. That connects easily with many third-party systems (revenue management, POS, channel managers, etc.)
Cons: Reporting and customization. The built-in reports and customization options are somewhat limited, requiring external tools or manual work to get deeper operational or financial insights.

Overall experience with mews is very good especially with the Mews Community features and collaboration offered.
Pros: The mews marketplace is a comprehensive list of apps which integrate with mews and are very easy to setup.
Cons: Not much I dislike about mews. Credit card processing is done via a mews master account and therefore there is not a direct relationship with the credit card processor making dispute resolution and accounting reconciliation more difficult to process.

Alles in allem sind wir total zufrieden mit Mews und sind froh, hierhin gewechselt zu haben. Der Wechsel war nicht erzwungen sondern von uns gewünscht. Die gestellten Erwartungen, was wir verändern wollten, wurden voll erfüllt.
Pros: Mews erleichtert uns die Arbeit an der Rezeption enorm. Die automatisierten Prozesse, insbesondere der Zahlungsabwicklung, erleichtern uns den Arbeitsablauf. Die Integration des Kiosks ist ebenfalls für uns klasse, da wir nicht auf Drittanbieter zurückgreifen müssen. Durch Mews sparen wir eine Menge Papier. Listen sind digital, sowohl für den Frühstücksservice als auch für das Housekeeping. Die gesamte Automatisierung (inkl Guest journey) gibt uns mehr Zeit für den Gast vor Ort.
Cons: Der Support war anfangs sehr spät, das hat sich aber deutlich gebessert. Manche Anwendungsfälle sind noch nicht komplett durchdacht und können noch verbessert werden (Beispiel Splitrechnung).

Pros: What we liked most about MEWS was… well, everything it was supposed to be. On paper, it sounded like a dream PMS: A modern, cloud-based system designed to simplify operations. A sleek booking engine that could handle everything from upsells to cancellations with ease. AI-powered support that’s always there when you need it. Unfortunately, none of that turned out to be true. In reality, guests can’t cancel reservations through the portal like we were told. Adding extra items or upsells during booking is so restricted it would literally cost us revenue. The system constantly opens new browser tabs instead of working in one clean window. And the interface? It’s confusing, clunky, and anything but intuitive.
Cons: Finally, what we liked least of all was the lack of honesty and accountability. When we brought up issues, we got excuses, delays, or silence. I sent a formal termination letter on Monday — it’s now days later, and still no response. That pretty much sums up their “customer care.”

Pros: Easy of use Hotel PMS. Great Design, helpful selflearning "university". Good value for money, fully integrated payment solution.
Cons: Report section / Dashboard could be improved. We would like to have more CMS features in the guest profiles.

The system is intuitive, reliable, and modern. What truly stands out is the open communication with the Mews team and their genuine willingness to incorporate user feedback into product development. We feel well supported and truly enjoy working with the system.
Pros: We have been working with Mews for some time now and are absolutely delighted - not only with the system itself, but above all with the company's philosophy. Mews does not develop its products “bypassing the market”, but together with the users. Feedback is taken seriously, passed on and often even incorporated directly into product development. This gives us as customers the feeling that we are really being heard. The system itself is intuitive, modern and well thought-out - it's fun to work with and makes our day-to-day work much easier in many areas.
Cons: A small wish that is currently still with us: Additional payment methods such as PayPal would make the offering even better from our point of view. As far as we know, however, this is already on the roadmap - and that's exactly what we appreciate: that Mews continues to develop, together with its customers. A great tool - and a great team behind it!

Cons: Natürlich gibt es noch kleinere Punkte, die wir uns für die Zukunft wünschen – wie etwa die automatische Reduzierung der Rechnungsbeträge bei No-Shows oder die automatische Rückmeldung an OTAs. Aber wir sind zuversichtlich, dass auch diese Themen bald umgesetzt werden. Mews entwickelt sich kontinuierlich weiter, hört auf das Feedback der Nutzer und bringt echte Innovation ins Hotelmanagement.

The system has brought greater efficiency and structure to our daily hotel operations. It’s modern, cloud-based, and designed with the needs of both staff and guests in mind. We’ve seen improvements in everything from check-in processes to reporting and task management. While there were a few adjustments needed at the beginning, Mews has proven to be a reliable and forward-thinking PMS that continues to support our goals for innovation and guest satisfaction.
Pros: The best part about Mews is its automation and ease of use. Features like online check-in/out, automated payments, and real-time updates across departments save us time and reduce human error. The interface is modern and intuitive, which makes training staff much easier. Also, the flexibility to access the system from anywhere is a big plus.
Cons: The least part is it's business intelligence reporting. But when you first get the hang of it and get to know it. Then is works. But knowing it will have some extra focus the future. Then we can live with it.

Excellent. Our onboarding was very well organised, with lots of support. The Mews PMS is very cutting-edge, with new features constantly being added, and AI that works!
Pros: Mews is a great balance of powerful and customisable software that is also very simple and efficient to use. Features like automatic card charging mean that a lot of work is done by the software, freeing up time for us to enhance guest experience. Mews also has built-in, comprehensive training via Mews University, meaning new starters can quickly learn how to use the software with minimal training. Mews also regularly releases new features, including an AI digital assistant that is extremely helpful when you need technical support.
Cons: Very little. There was a dip in the Support's response times, but this has been rectified, and the AI digital assistant is a big help.

Pros: From different property management systems I have varely struggle with Mews system because of the layout of information from, guests, reservation and payment details can be found in different ways that you don´t need to follow specific steps to find regular information. This for example can be seen in the searching bar that filters from all reservations received with only one reference number or name. Specially the Action log shows you the latest modifications in every sectiondone by name and date. It is useful to keep on track procedures with guest that can take months to find out what happened when there is a miscommunication.
Cons: It is valuable all information that can be found in few steps and the way it looks it is quite modern and professional, but at the same time I remember that for my learning process and getting to know it the layout, visualizing the reports the was so much information that it is not highlighted so may way of learning was remembering the steps to get there and not remember how it looks since most of the information is found in black, grey and white. Of course you cannot make a rainbow out of it but some information like prices and important notes can be highlited in a different way.

Pros: Fool proof PMS system with lots of flexibility and easy to learn and start using. We use the Mews Kiosk on a tablet which also removes the need of paper registration cards and frees up time on the Front Desk.
Cons: Not too much needs improving as there are more than plenty of features available. Maybe the only thing is to look at possibility of pre-registration on Mews Kiosk when the room is not ready yet.

Pros: Mews is extremely user friendly and easy to learn during the onboarding process. Thanks to the cloud-based structure its accessible from anywhere and any time. Mews offers countless features that helps the receptionists enhancing the level of customer satisfaction by pushing the relevant data everywhere where they are useful to see.
Cons: Since Mews is cloud-based, sometimes can happen general server outage or performance degradation but usually it is very quickly fixed.

MEWS is modern, has big goals, but they are far away from the reality. Mostly we have guest for business-reasons and from companies. Invoicing makes double work. Business guests can't pay with credit card, the check-in-terminal works great for private guests, for business-guests it's unusable
Pros: Patent solution is working fine, if you have no Business guests or Companies or Cost assumption declaration. For holiday-Hotels MEWS maybe work fine, for business hotels it's a nightmare.
Cons: No payment solutions für Business-partners, workflow extremely bad for business-partners. They are not able to enter their business addresses together with the booking. For this reason all Business-invoices has to be cancelled and manually new written. Sorry, that's only ugly. Nobody helps if you have problems. When starting with MEWS there isn't anybody you can ask. Workflow is very special and needs time to understand, very much time and faults happens in this time.

Terrible overall experience. Now we are stuck
Pros: Booking Engine, the accent of the sales rep.
Cons: No reconciliation, no batching, no night audit. Takes up to 6 days to get your money, they hold some of your money as a reserve, they take there fees out of every deposit instead of monthly. Human assistance is non existent. No one will call you back or answer or explain anything. None of the above issues were explained when purchasing. If they were we wouldn't have bought it.

Mews constantly helps us to streamline our operations and get smarter about the way we work and find new revenue streams. We have since covid (we turned to Mews in sep 2019) been breaking new revenue records almost every month, this would not have been possible without Mews and all the integrations that comes along!
Pros: Working mostly in the backend of the system it has been revolutionary for me, and the hotel, when we switched to Mews about 5 years ago, the number of integrations and how easily they connect is nothing like I've seen before. So do yourself a favor and switch from that legacy system of yours to Mews and the revenue streams will open.
Cons: Not much really but do mind now if you switch from a legacy system that you pay every 1-2 years to do an upgrade to get some new functions. With Mews you need to keep yourself and the staff alert on new functions and constantly evolve with the system to get the most out of it. In Mews updates come every week, some big some small. With great functionality comes great responsibility to use it.

Great PMS in general, always advise Mews as a top product (though it comes with the price tag). For large hostels, chains or large hotels, I believe this is the most future proof PMS for the time being.
Pros: - Flexibility of product - Large number of integrations - Continuous development to improve the product.
Cons: - Support emails aren't clearly handled, they need a dedicated support portal to follow tickets. Right now following up on old tickets means searching old emails as each response from Mews creates a new email chain without any context.

Pros: Au delà de l’aspect réservation en ligne, Mews offre différents outils simplifiant les tâches de travails et rendant ainsi les collaborateurs plus attentifs et disponibles pour la clientèle
Cons: S’agissant de la version d’essai je ne sais pas si nous avions accès à toutes les fonctionnalités.

very limited touch reservations - before we had to take payment for all of them manually. the guest communication emails are helpful
Pros: if you want software to manage rooms and booking engine this is for you. we are a wedding venue so its not been quite as adaptable as we wanted it to be.
Cons: onboarding was very complicated and set up was all on the venue, we had a lot of pre paid deposits to move over from old system and this was manual
