Pros: It has improved over the past few years with the interface and style which makes it a bit easier to navigate through different sections.
Cons: Overall it is an awkward and difficult to use system. You need to be careful to save your notes as they do not automatically save. I do not like having to hover over the menu options because they disappear if I move my mouse in the slightest.

I practiced successfully with it for over 10 years. It was mostly reliable and met my needs in my psychiatric practice.
Pros: I loved it because it allowed me to write my complete medical note, including the chief complaint, history & physical, mental status exam, and treatment plans.
Cons: Sometimes there was a glitch or a complete failure to get online, so I had to keep a paper copy of each patient’s visit, as a back-up to refer to in those situations when Qualifacts was down.

I love this software and the supportive srevices.
Pros: Love this software for patient use. It's easy to schedule-keep appointment-link to document-bill each day workflow works for clinicians. My billing is always correct and never an issue with kick backs.
Cons: It is about $100 per user when you do smaller organizations but as we've grown the cost has gone down.

I was not utilizing all of the features that CareLogic has to offer, so I can't speak to everything. However, the site was relatively easy to navigate, it made clinical intakes and assessments streamlined and efficient. I would definitely recommend this product.
Pros: It was really helpful to have everything in one place. The process for documentation was especially well designed.
Cons: Sometimes it was tedious when it came to navigating the different sections. The menu wasn't always accessible so you had to reload the page/ go back and forth between pages.

Overall we have had a positive experience and I would like to continue using this EHR system and look forward to upcoming product releases.
Pros: I like how customizable it is, so we can configure programs and documents to fit our individual needs. The treatment plan and schedule and the ability to create configurable forms work very well for us.
Cons: The MedPass window frequently has issues. In the last year we have had 3 major issues of a pop-up error message that would interrupt med pass, Medications not synching between DrFirst and the MAR that was determined to be due to data stored in inactive staff names, meds not synching again that had to do with character limits in data fields on the back end, and now PRNs being removed from the MAR despite being active.

Friendly community, good support, lots of different ways to rollout your services based on how each department operates. Reporting can be a nightmare, particularly when you are a CCBHC.
Pros: Lots of customization to fit to the needs of the practice.
Cons: Difficult learning curve because nothing is standardized and each practice does things differently.

Software should make your life easier and even with the updated interface, Carelogic feels clunky and outdated. It is difficult to navigate and does not let you learn as you go. Significant training is needed in order to use the software.
Pros: Recently, an update to the interface has made it a little more user-friendly. It also seems to have robust capabilities.
Cons: Not very user friendly and difficult to navigate without extensive training. Does not allow you to make changes easily.
Brian G. · Director of Finance · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 19, 2024
I am the Director of Finance, and in the beginning, it was a bit difficult. It seemed the everyone was new and learning. It has gotten so so much better now.
Pros: I love all of the flexibility it has for billing and client options.
Cons: The Staff Per Diem issues and the Duplicate client activities that can't be stopped. I have to have a second eye review each billing for duplicate client charges.
Tawanda Q. · Director of Finance and Revenue · Mental Health Care · November 19, 2024
I have found CareLogic easy to work in. The staff and help team are responsive when it is within their power to help. I am very pleased with the product as compared to other EHRs we have worked in.
Pros: The system is modern and configurable. It allows us to manage workflows and easily maintain client records, scheduling, and billing.
Cons: While there are a lot of resources and technology available, many of the features are available at an additional cost.
Kim H. · System Administrator and Director · Individual & Family Services · November 19, 2024
My overall experience has been good. However, many people I work with have described it being difficult to learn and use.
Pros: I like that everything is all on one platform.
Cons: I least like that this platform does not easily and effectively sync up to other third party platforms.

Overall, I feel QSI (and CareLogic) is moving in solid direction. My agency has used CareLogic long enough to know how to get the most out of it. While not a perfect system, CareLogic meets the needs of my agency.
Pros: I feel new management is more transparent vs past administrations, meaning I feel they truly understand areas that need improvement & are working to address. In short, I've been a CareLogic customer since 2008 and the company has come a long ways since then!! I also like the virtual training opportunities that QSI makes available each month. I attend many of the BI webinars and gain something from each session. Also like the Partnership groups, where I attend the Sys Admin & Reporting groups which I find helpful. I feel Support is another area that has greatly improved thru the years. Now I feel a ticket has better chance of getting routed to somebody that's versed in the area. From all the times I've interacted with Support, I always find helpful & pleasant.
Cons: From my vantage point at least, CL still struggles with downtime (both scheduled & unscheduled) and post release bugs. Also, I know QSI is working on a client merge feature, but to not have this yet (as CareLogic is a mature platform) is unacceptable. To pick up from above, scheduled downtime really hits 24/7 programs hard. Would be a ***huge*** help if QSI could get some kind of a parallel system to use while releases are pushed during scheduled downtime.

CareLogic has been a very good first EHR for our agency and we have learned a lot about what is possible from a measuring outcomes to employee performance measures. However, the support is lacking and everything has a price tag. It feels very much like everything CareLogic does is just finding a new way to charge more money and it's not about solving challenges or upgrading the product to keep up with changes and growth in the environment.
Pros: I believe CareLogic offers an end user friendly platform. Generally speaking the clinical staff appreciate how the work flows follow a logical sequence.
Cons: It's difficult to extract meaningful data without an IT department that is knowledgeable of sequel databases. The canned reports are okay but too often do provide what you think your looking at really simply attributes such as basic demographic information is difficult to acquire. For all of the advancements in behavioral health, CareLogic is falling behind and any integration or advancements come with very large price points. Qualifacts is notorious for failing to deliver on promises made and almost never meets the timelines they agree to keep.

Overall. Carelogic requires my team to do a lot of manual work. I can not trust the reporting that comes out of Carelogic so I have to go through the data manually. Also, another issue is the payers not being listed as primary, secondary, Tertiary, etc. This to causes issues with reporting. When I open up tickets your teams wrong answers usually help lead me to the right ones... lately I have had good assistance and help. With Inpatient no one knows anything about.
Pros: I like the Outpatient EMR portion of Carelogic the most.
Cons: The Billing product in Carelogic is not the greatest. You can't enter a negative you have to use write up's which causes issues with secondary billing. Also the way Carelogic Handles Inpatient notes and coding is incorrect. Inpatient claims have to be coded in a whole in bill room and board claims not by the first note done. I think there needs to be a coding module added for inpatient claims and those are the codes that drop on the UB. The codes on the notes would drop on the physician charges.

I think the implementation team is crucial to a successful setup. Some of our original team members were knew and did not have the knowledge to help guide us. There was a time when Qualifacts customer service was not at its best and we had many issues getting items resolved. Now the Customer Satisfaction Department seems to be doing great. We get accurate responses in a very quick manner. We also use another Qualifacts system Insync and I would recommend Carelogic if companies need a lot of tracking capability and Insync if they need more of a start up out of the box situation
Pros: The capabilities to track so much data in one place, the additional report creating options with BI and Pentahoe
Cons: You definitely need someone who understands databases and how everything links. This is not an out of the box setup and a lot of decisions go into setting it up. If you set it up wrong it will through off reports and billing. I think the billing piece is the most complex but if setup correctly it is amazing

It has been a fairly decent experience as with anything there have been delayed ticket times but overall a better product than our previous EHR
Pros: It is user friendly and easy to navigate
Cons: The reporting functions are very lackluster
Lisa L. · Billing coordinator · Mental Health Care · November 14, 2024
Overall, CareLogic is a great platform to use for Behavioral Health. I use it for the revenue cycle and it really is very helpful and very user friendly. It has everything I need, but if there's something I'm needing data for, there is definitely a report for whatever I need.
Pros: I like that once you learn the system, it is very user friendly and has a lot of great aspects to help you navigate.
Cons: The thing I like the least would have to be that you can't have a lot of multiple tabs open at one time if you're trying to multitask.
Christi S. · Revenue Cycle Supervisor · Mental Health Care · November 14, 2024
Not bad but improvement is needed in terms of easy reports.
Pros: It is easy for new staff members to learn understand and navigate.
Cons: It is tough to generate custom reports. The reports that you have in there are not sufficient for regulatory agencies.
Jaya D. · Chief of Compliance · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 14, 2024
My experience overall has been great. I have used other Mental health billing software
Pros: The carelogic software is easily adaptable for any new person learning billing.
Cons: The end dating of old payers and needing to set up a new payer first to end date the old one
Tabby M. · billing dept · Mental Health Care · November 14, 2024
It's been a great platform to do our clinical documentation and reporting on
Pros: Web based, fast and reliably available. It has a fairly simple interface that is easy to navigate
Cons: Some of the web based functionality is a little antiquated to today's standards. why always submit to save instead of saving data as you enter automatically?
Jeremy T. · QI Compliance Analyst · Hospital & Health Care · November 14, 2024
I have been using CareLogic for over 2 years and have not had too many complaints with it. I was able to learn how to use it quickly! I am looking forward to any updates that will come in the future.
Pros: I like how user friendly CareLogic is, the search option that was added recently has been a life saver at some points. Also, the new sleek look helps important things stand out from the ones that are secodary.
Cons: That there are things that we just cannot incorporate that would be time savers.
Heather N. · AR Specialist · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 14, 2024
I see Qualifacts CareLogic to be a powerful tool for managing behavioral health and human services. Its extensive features and customization options are beneficial for meeting diverse organizational needs.
Pros: What I like most is its user-friendly interface and comprehensive features designed for behavioral health and human services.
Cons: Qualifacts CareLogic can have a steep learning curve, particularly for new users who may find the system complex.
Joseph B. · Mental Health Counselor · Mental Health Care · October 29, 2024
Pros: CareLogic is easy to train new hires on, unless they have used a more intuitive EHR before. Reports are easy to schedule, but the system can get overwhelmed if the dataset is large.
Cons: CareLogc is slow, difficult to use, doesn't have an open API, and has limited functionality. The user interface is not intuitive nor modern. Every team member we train on CareLogic that has used another EHR complains about how difficult it is to use.
Colin J. · VP Marketing and Communications · Hospital & Health Care · March 29, 2024
I liked it. Not a popular thought I know as most I've worked with that used it didn't like it at all. I thought it was effective and user friendly.
Pros: It had its glitches at first. It was one of the easier EHR software I've used. I liked that you could see your client list and this made it easy to update and keep this refreshed. Adding documents to the files was easy as well.
Cons: When changes were made, it seemed as though these were done w/out the inclusion of a therapist/someone who would actively be using it.
Jennifer S. · Licensed Professional Counselor · Mental Health Care · April 25, 2023
It needs to be more reliable for use with essential health services.
Pros: It is fairly easy to use and learn for electronic health records.
Cons: It crashes quite often, then you might not get anything done while they work on it.
Jeffrey K. · Behavioral Health Specialist · Mental Health Care · January 23, 2023
My overall experience with CareLogic is good.
Pros: What I like most about CareLogic is how easy it is at keeping track of your medical records.
Cons: I don't really dislike anything about CareLogic.
