Pros: The org chart clearly defines the hierarchy of the organization.

Cons: There is manual labor and time involved in updating org with employees from other jurisdictions.

Pros: Ease of set up, integration with ADP, ability to customize

Cons: Difficult to set up template view that we wanted it to default to.

Pros: I like the functionality and the options to customize our charts.

Cons: It's very technical and there is a lot of back-end things that aren't user friendly. However, the technical support team and the training I have received is phenomenal.

Pros: I have found that there are many options when it comes to selecting the right software to manage and/or create your org charts. But the number one reason why I continue to renew with OrgChart is because of their customer service. I am treated as though I am a priority. I typically get same day responses and I am treated like a team member. Of course its a great product as well, but when I need assistance the service matters.

Cons: I don't have anything negative that I have come across with after using for 5+ years.

Pros: Implementation of OrgChart was relatively simple and quick. Whenever we've had an issue that required support, we've always received quick service and our issue was resolved quickly.

Cons: Though OrgChart is integrated with our HRIS system, it does not pull all the data we would have liked. As a result, we have to import some data on a weekly basis to pull in information such as employee groups (full-time staff, part-time staff, etc.). In addition, we have academic departments with many part-time faculty, and rather than listing them out individually, we wanted a headcount of the part-time faculty. We spent a great deal of time with our implementation specialist trying to set this up before he escalated the issue to someone above him to find out that what we wanted to do was not possible.

Pros: The ability to connect with ADP has saved us so many hours of manual work to update our company directory and org chart.

Cons: Nothing negative to share. Everything has been great!

Pros: we have subsidiary company under our main company. I like the best feature of org chart that I can see org hierarchy of individual subsidiaries on their own.

Cons: Coding or making any changes to the structure is not as easy. But support team is very prompt and helps to get things ironed out efficiently.

Pros: The chart trees are great visual and useful.

Cons: If employee names can be displayed as FirstName, LastName, that would be better.

Pros: It makes our company organizational chart look great.

Cons: when the drag drop feature went away. Now that is back, I have no complaints.

Pros: I like that the org charts look nice, meeting our branding requirements and can be exported in a number of formats. The software interacts with our HRIS system well. Customer service team is extremely responsive and helpful.

Cons: Lack of easy customization features. We also cannot map out our hourly workforce easily due to the per box fees.

Pros: OrgChart is very simple to implement, update, customize, and view

Cons: The limit of only showing 5 tiers eliminates the ability to view the full OrgChart. With less than 100 employees, we would like to be able to see everyone on a single page. That lack of capability means I still have to make a manual org chart at times

Pros: OrgChart is easy to use and the team at OrgChart made the implementation process very easy. The system is very customizable and can be used in many different ways.

Cons: The system can be a bit complex and might be difficult for those who lack computer skills to pickup, but overall it is very user friendly.

Pros: Ease of use, affordability, start up support.

Cons: Nothing to report. Ease of use and support has been responsive

Pros: With an organization as complex as ours, OCN definitely had the right tools to display the info properly and professionally. Automation is critical. Nobody wants to be spending hours per quarter updating.

Cons: The interface is definitely a bit dated and next to impossible for the average user to deal with. Either dedicate a power user of this program or implement their professional services team who will do it for you. Thankfully, the interface is not that critical since this is it and forget it type program.

Pros: We used this product when we want to do custom versions of our org chart, which it is very handy for. With or without names, only a certain part of the org, etc. And I liked that we can have things such as "Remote" show up on each tile but not in a loud, distracting way.

Cons: For us, it is nice for pulling specific reports but it is not that friendly to a basic user. The platform isn't intuitive, it feels like you need to be a regular user or have some software background to get the hang of it.

Pros: The ability to auto update from HRIS and Auto post to our website is a huge time saver.

Cons: Administration if you need to make changes is clunky and hard to figure out.

Pros: like that it updates automatically at termination and hire like that you can color code and make style changes

Cons: the workbench wizard can be clunky, and you have to get use to the idiosyncrasies to make it fit your needs

Pros: Initially we liked that it had an on-prem implementation (security reasons). We finally justified cloud instance with the automatic hooks to ADP.

Cons: Security features of cloud implementation not as robust as on prem - but we limited data impacted.

Pros: The set up was fast and simple, the implementation process was easy and we got the help needed.

Cons: Setting up the photos, I still have not gotten to help we need to set it up.

Pros: Let's us create highly customized charts

Cons: Site is not intuitive so often need to contact support.

Pros: I do like the fact that it's work my work simple I can easily organise my team and the work our financial data....

Cons: The things I did dislike are the interface they could have done much better and the registration.

Pros: Allows easy Database Integration. (Access via ODBC). Admins update the Access Database Staff Reporting Table - very simple data and then the Chart Manager pushes a REFRESH and the boxes are added, modified, moved, removed etc. with a single click. The Org Chart is then verified & published to interal web site.

Cons: The initial setup can be tricky but worth the extra few minutes over manually entered orgchart data.
