ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus

Pros: We have been using ManageEngine MDM for approximately three years, and overall the platform has delivered strong value for the price point. It solves multiple operational and device management challenges in a centralized way while remaining relatively straightforward to maintain. For the most part, the platform is hands-off and does what it says on the box. Device management, policy enforcement, application deployment, and visibility have all been reliable in our environment. One of the biggest advantages for us is the ability to host the solution in-house. This gives us greater control over security, compliance, and integration with our existing infrastructure and security layers. Considering the feature set, deployment flexibility, and cost, it has been a solid solution for our requirements.

Cons: There can occasionally be some ambiguity between the on-premises and cloud components/features, particularly when working through documentation or specific configurations. A bit more clarity and consistency in that area would improve the overall administrator experience. I also would have liked to see more native integrations with third-party platforms and services out of the box, especially for broader ecosystem automation and reporting. That said, none of these points have been significant enough to impact the platform negatively for us in production.

Pros: I can control enrolled devices from anywhere without having to drive to device location and request to bring the device to office to modify

Cons: Navigation: I did not feel comfortable about the way I navigate to reach the device, also, there is no way to navigate fully with keyboard as per my knowledge

Pros: What I liked most about ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus is the easy device enrollment process and the centralized management dashboard. It helps a lot with controlling Android and iOS devices remotely, pushing policies, tracking assets, and improving company security without needing complex configurations.

Cons: What I liked least about ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus is that sometimes the interface feels a bit outdated and some advanced settings are difficult to find. In larger deployments, synchronization and reporting can occasionally be slower than expected.

Pros: Exceptional customer support and easy to reach the support team on Chat option and they provide all the solutions in one go.

Cons: Can't complain anything but may be a consideration for giving access to the customer to revoke the devices if its not in contact for longer time.

Pros: ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus offers a strong balance between functionality, usability, and cost-effectiveness. The centralized dashboard makes device management straightforward, and the platform provides excellent control over security policies, app deployment, remote troubleshooting, and compliance monitoring. The remote access and troubleshooting features significantly reduce support response time for IT teams. Integration with enterprise environments is smooth, and the product scales well as the organization grows.

Cons: Some advanced configurations and policy settings can take time to fully understand during the initial setup phase. The user interface could be more modern in certain sections, and occasional synchronization delays may occur with large device fleets. However, these issues are relatively minor compared to the overall value the platform provides.

Pros: The platform provides a user-friendly interface that makes it straightforward to enroll, configure, monitor, and secure devices across the organization. I also appreciated the strong policy management features, remote troubleshooting tools, and integration with Microsoft ecosystems such as Intune and Azure AD. The solution offers good visibility into device compliance and security status while remaining cost-effective compared to some competing MDM platforms

Cons: The user interface, while functional, can occasionally feel outdated and navigating certain settings may require additional steps. Reporting and analytics could also be more flexible and modernized.

Pros: This platform has been life changing for me. Managing more than 100 devices currently and soon moving to 550 in total once our factory efficiency improvement project is complete. Very easy to use and makes finding and resolving bugs simple.

Cons: Invoicing and Payment process could have been easier. Unfortunately, the quoted amount and invoiced/paid amount differed.

Pros: ease of deploying and managing applications across multiple mobile devices from a single, intuitive console. Great tool for remote access.

Cons: The ease of admin configuration onboarding. Profile creation and active directory syn with users and assets.

Pros: Ease of setting up a new device to manage. The support offered when our MDM server crashed and failed to reboot. The dev team helped fix our issue and get the server running once again

Cons: I feel like managing the back end services and how a lot of the upgrade process is managed via bat files and a integrated update process would make updating easier to keep updated. Maybe even automatic updates

Pros: Offers good value for money with strong features. Easy to use after setup, though UI can feel slightly cluttered. Customer support is helpful. Device and employee management is efficient. Profile configuration is smooth. Occasional bugs are there, but overall reliable for daily device management tasks.

Cons: The interface can feel cluttered and confusing at times, especially for new users. Initial setup and policy configuration may take time to understand. There are occasional bugs and delays in applying policies. Customer support response can be inconsistent. Reporting could be more customizable, and performance may slow down with a large number of devices.

Pros: Very good value for money. Customer support is very helpful. I was confused about how to get started, but they spent a long time on our initial call to make sure everything was working correctly, and I knew how to use it.

Cons: Initial setup was a bit confusing, but customer service cleared it up quickly. Learning how to provision and publish was the hardest part.

Pros: ME MDM is cost efficient, professional product platform, and can help our business to manage our mobile devices in much better way than before. ME tech team is always there to support our questions/issues.

Cons: it remains to be found, so far so good, we are using it everyday for our 4800+ devices, and we are pretty familiar with the process and functions

Pros: Flexibility over most platforms is one of the biggest advantages. It supports Android, iOS, and Windows devices, making it easy to manage a mixed device environment from a single console. The enrollment process is straightforward and the policy management is quite comprehensive.

Cons: Learning how to navigate between tabs and options (locating stuff) can be a bit challenging at first. The interface has many features which makes the initial learning curve steeper, and finding specific settings sometimes takes more time than expected.

Pros: ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus made it significantly easier for us to implement an MDM solution for our iPads. We had spent months trying to figure out how to meet Apple’s management requirements, and this platform finally gave us a clear, workable path. The setup process, device enrollment, and ongoing management were all far more intuitive than other tools we tried.

Cons: The primary drawback for us is the cost. While the product works well, a more cost‑effective pricing structure would make it more accessible for small schools or organizations with limited budgets. Reducing the cost or offering more flexible tiers would greatly improve the overall value.

Cons: Is about remote access from the server to end devices and also to provide the full restriction of the system

Pros: What I liked most is how efficient it is to manage multiple devices using just one platform. The interface is very beginner-friendly and not complicated to explore, which makes it easy to navigate even for first-time users. It also provides strong security controls, flexible policy management, and reliable remote support features, making it a trustworthy solution for device management.

Cons: Some advanced features can be a bit overwhelming at first, especially if you’re not yet familiar with mobile device management systems. There are also times when certain settings take a few extra steps to configure, which can slow down the process slightly.

Pros: I can see all devices and manage them from one place. Great support of product. Easy to use. Quick solve of problems and bugs.

Cons: User interface can be friendlier and I would like to add some more features, like managing contacts and messages

Pros: Easy to use software and easy to configure for organizations. Took a couple of days to research good MDM options, when I found this one there was no competition.

Cons: Unfortunately, not being able to transfer ownership if the account is on the free subscription, only con I can think of.
