Pros: Easy to use and integrate. Helpful dashboard for customer support. Comprehensive security credentials.
Cons: Nothing - I'm really pleased I chose it. I don't use much advanced functionality, but for simply proving app users are who they are, it's perfect.

Excellent, great support from [sensitive content hidden] the Community Lead on Slack. He's been really easy to access and get assistance from.
Pros: Startup program and access to free sandbox environment for pre-purchase testing. This is a great differentiator to some competitive offerings.
Cons: Some of the workflows are a bit complex and difficult to navigate. The knowledge base was helpful, but nI used my preferred LLM to troubleshoot some issues.

Pros: Even though our app is still in development, Persona has already made the identity verification part of the process much easier. The setup is straightforward, the documentation is clear, and the dashboard gives us everything we need to test and integrate quickly. The support team has been amazing, very responsive, helpful, and patient as we build things out.
Cons: Since we are still in the development phase, we haven’t had the chance to explore every feature in-depth. Some advanced configurations require a bit of trial and error, but the support team has been great about helping us through it.

It was the best value for money we got on the market. Others were pricing quite high like 10000 USD yearly.
Pros: Solve customer identification across the globe. We use it for access system for unmanned stores. It works well.
Cons: Lack of translations to different languages that are supported for identification. We have customer from Sloenia but they can not login.

Overall the experience has been very positive due to the ease of use and detailed and quick identity verification capabilities.
Pros: Persona is very easy to use for startups like ours and has extensive customization options. Verification is sound which ensures that the users are really vetted. Process of setting it up was straightforward. User access management is granular which allows specific access according to verification status. It is good value for money for the features provided.
Cons: The cost can be on higher side if you do not need extensive identity verification. Customer service can take some time to review the request.

It has been an amazing experience - the Persona team are really proactive, helpful, and resourceful. The user experience is amazing.
Pros: It's very feature rich, precise and lightweight. Customer support is excellent and they actively try to help users make the most of the product. It's easy to use and pricing is also good. Management dashboard is also very feature rich.
Cons: Workstreams could be a little more optimized. Like instead of dividing all steps of KYC in different tabs, it would be great to have a visual screen that shows the whole itinerary of each verification case, from inquiry to report run results.

Pros: Very simple and easy to use onboarding process was simple. The process to integrate persona into my app was actually fun and again very simple.
Cons: Time it took to reach someone was a bit frustrating and finding a time to connect persona team with my developers was very challenging.

Pros: Persona offers a great solution for identity verification workflows and provides some solid initial templates in addition to features allowing for customizability. I found that they were great at providing community resources, and make it easy to get started. They also provide a great user access management system so your team can remain in control of access. Overall, a great value for money spent on identity verification.
Cons: Persona offers limited templates. They were great for getting started but it felt like more could have been supplied given all of the different documents and workflows out there to process. I also think their customer support was bit lacking.

Pros: What I liked most about Persona is the peace of mind it provides—both for us as a platform and for our users, who know their identities are secure. The startup program has been a tremendous benefit, giving us access to enterprise-grade safety solutions at a startup-friendly scale. Even the Persona name itself conveys trust and security, which reassures our community from the moment they engage.
Cons: There isn’t much to dislike about Persona, but as a startup we are always mindful of resources. While the platform is powerful, some of the more advanced features feel designed with larger enterprises in mind. We’d love to see more a la carte options tailored for startups, so we can adopt what we need now and grow into the rest over time.

Pros: Persona is incredibly developer-friendly, with clean documentation and seamless integration. The identity verification flows are intuitive and customizable, allowing us to test and iterate quickly even at the pre-launch phase. The support team is outstanding.
Cons: As we’re still pre-product launch, i do not anything specific to report in this cateogry as for early-stage.

After onboarding and initial teething problems, personas verification system has made competitors look like child’s play. We found persona after huge problems with Stripe Identity, and couldn’t be happier.
Pros: Persona verifications are the best in the business - compared to competitors, personas verifications have been seamless.
Cons: Customer support can take some time, but thankfully these requests are few and far between. Onboarding as a persona customer was also cumbersome, but once onboarded, it’s smooth sailing.

Overall, very positive experience with the customer service team. We don't have a dedicated rep as we are on the entry plan, but we don't really need one either.
Pros: I love that we can customize it to our brand, it has been very reliable and easy to use. We have not had any complaints from users either! The cost is also very conservative compared to competitors (we don't need 1000s of verifications per month).
Cons: The entry plan does not allow for integration into our existing systems. It's a lot of manual creation and checking for completion which is not extremely efficient. Would love to be able to integrate with our ATS and be able to send directly from there and receive an update when completed.

My overall experience has been very positive. In addition to the Pros listed above, they have also proved responsive to any enquiries or issues and are quick to provide help when it is needed.
Pros: Persona has become a crucial part of our user identity verification workflow, and I have been extremely impressed with the service provided. The API integration is straightforward to implement, and the UI for the account holder is intuitive so that customising the workflow to your needs is achievable for a layman. The UI for the end user is extremely slick, which reflects well on any business or service using Persona.
Cons: It would be great if they offered a tier in between their startup and essential plan. The startup plan is extremely generous and perfect for new businesses that are keeping costs low, however the essential plan ($250 p/m at time of writing) represents a large jump in overheads - particularly for any bootstrapped startups. Perhaps a combination of lower flat monthly rate + per verification pricing would enable startups to stay with Persona for their entire growth journey, rather than look for alternatives when they are in that awkward middle-ground between the two plans.

We run an online community and some sensitive topics require us to manage access to avoid liabilities. Using Persona allowed us to easily and safely create a process to identify users participating in our open marketplace, ensure a safe environment for people to trade. It also allowed us to maintain some sub-forums that could attract voices that would like to unfairly hide behind anonymity.
Pros: - Easy to integrate, drop-in hosted workflow - Complete API - Easy redaction - Team management - Excellent support
