Overall, my experience with SmartAdvocate has been very positive. It is a powerful tool for managing cases, tracking deadlines, and keeping communication and documents organized. Once you become familiar with the system, it significantly improves workflow and helps teams handle cases more efficiently.
Pros: SmartAdvocate is a very comprehensive case management system that helps keep all case information organized in one place. I especially like how it allows us to track tasks, documents, notes, and communications within the same platform. The ability to customize workflows and templates also makes it easier to manage a large caseload and maintain efficiency.
Cons: The system can feel a bit overwhelming at first because it has many features and customization options.

So far, my overall experience with SmartAdvocate has been wonderful. The customer support is great.
Pros: What I like most about SmartAdvocate is the organization of the files/ cases. Easy to find documents.
Cons: There is really only one thing I don't like about SmartAdvocate and that is that the left side is not the same for every case.

My overall experience with SmartAdvocate is positive. It is efficient and effective. I would recommend it to any law firm looking for a case management software that gets the job done.
Pros: SmartAdvocate has great functionality. Each tool is intuitive and easy to learn to use. I also love how SmartAdvocate displays the case notes on the main page and that overall layout.
Cons: I wish SmartAdvocate organized the case documents into folders, instead of just one long list. I also wish they were a little faster responding to tickets reporting issues/bugs.

Now that the system has been in use for some time, we are overall very happy with the Smart Advocate product. We are now looking forward to digging a little deeper into reports and some of the bells and whistles that Smart Advocate has issued in the new release.
Pros: The ability to keep all case information in one location, along with the tasking ability to keep track of tasks assigned to team members has been a a huge help and time saver. The case browse reports for our weekly meetings on cases status has really assisted the team in knowing where our cases stand, instead of digging through notes and emails on each case file.
Cons: The initial migration and conversion did not go as smoothly as we had hoped, however, once cleaned up and finally integrated into our firm operations we have found the CRM to be easy to use, beneficial to the firm and the way we manage cases.

Overall my experience with smart advocate was pleasant. I only use it for a portion of my work now but it is still great.
Pros: I like that smart advocate is easy to use and not difficult to navigate through the system. Super easy to find client information.
Cons: The one thing I didn’t like about smart advocate was the ability to run reports needed for data tracking.

It has been INCREDIBLE. The staff is super helpful, and always there when you need them. We love how all of the documents for a client's case is located in one central location.
Pros: The ease of use of the product, the layout, the reports we can create, and the training tools the staff provides.
Cons: I wish the mobile app worked to assist me when I am out in the field. I can use my laptop, but to be able to look up a phone number for a client quickly, or access contact information about a judge or opposing attorney -- that would be so helpful.

Cons: Would like more customization options in terms of colors. Maybe adding the full range of colors to allow custom skins.

The program made it easy for me to personally oversee over 2000 cases. Everything from case stage to type makes it all the more easier to keep everything oragnized.
Pros: I like the the task system the most. I get a daily report of what I need to do that day on top of all unfinished tasks and how long they have been pending.
Cons: It takes a little bit to get used to. I thought the emails I saved in the file were deleted only to find an icon I clicked to exclude emails. Clicked it back on and I had everything I was looking for.

I love using it, and after using for several years, we still learn new things to help be more efficient!
Pros: The software keeps you organized and efficient with tabs for different categories, including names, phone numbers, insurance info., lien info., etc.
Cons: Plugins for new employees or when there are updates have been a little challenging. Templates are still a bit time consuming, but still worth it!

OUTSTANDING overall. Love the development and implementation teams. They were communicative, thorough and left no stone unturned. After conversion, they transitioned us to ongoing support, which had a minor hiccup of frustration, but once back on track, we had weekly 1-hour meetings to go over questions that came up, but anything urgent was emailed and we received a prompt response.
Pros: Development & Implementation Teams were outstanding. The level of communication, follow up and follow through was above expectations. As a result of their amazing effort, our conversion had only one major issue, but it was very quickly resolved with no negative impact to work.
Cons: Not a fan of the calendar integration with Outlook. Wanted to love it, and tried several ways to make it work, but it was just not great. I am hopeful this will improve over time. Integration with QB works, but has some quirks that we needed to create a work-around for. Such as, only the primary contact address pushing to QB and not being able to select a mailing address for checks when the contact has more than one address, or not being able account for a DBA name versus the check payee name.

It really is a great software to use. There was a bit of a learning curve to it but I have picked up on it quickly. I would recommend it to any law firm.
Pros: All of the features and how detailed you can get.
Cons: Their help manual doesn't always have what you need if you have question.

Exceptionally good. Claude’s trainings really prepare both users and administrators to utilize SA to a high degree.
Pros: The back user features are easy to use. The system is set up very well. SmartAdvocate allows the end user to streamline processes in a quick and efficient manner. The flexibility of the merge codes is superior to all other case management software. Workplans are easy to create and even easier to use. The training is voluminous and broken down so even the most basic user can understand. The customer service is kind and extraordinary quick to respond.
Cons: I would love SA to add an option for “children”. In other words, if I had a parent docket that said “expert deposition” I could create documents under that docket so everything is in one clean and easy to find space.

I wish it were a bit simpler and tailor made.
Pros: Nice layout, very detailed, and the flexibility to annote almost anything.
Cons: Not very user friendly or intuitive. There are too many steps to do simple tasks and in this industry the complications get compounded with each case when processes are not clear.

I use SmartAdvocate every day as a paralegal. Great integration with Outlook.
Pros: Very easy to navigate and has a lot of features that I use daily. The calendar function is very helpful.
Cons: I dislike that there is no way to automate calendar reminders.

It is so nice to have all the data for a case at your fingertips.
Pros: I am the team member at our firm who manages the medical providers and medical records for each case. Without this software, I could never keep up with the volume of cases we have. SA makes my job so much easier with reminders, task tracking, and multiple ways to incorporate data into chronologies, spreadsheets, and many applications.
Cons: SA is user friendly but there is a learning curve when starting.

Pros: Our firm has been using Smart Advocate for approximately 4 months, and we are learning new features daily. I really like that you can open one case multiple times and filter the docs you are working on all at the same time and the dashboards.
Cons: I think color coding would be helpful. Smart Advocate is an internet based program and sometimes it can slow you down - which we may need higher internet.

So far, now that I have learned to maneuver quicker between the tabs, I am enjoying using it more and more.
Pros: The ability to review all case file information quickly and having more than one case open at a time so that I can just click a tab to toggle between cases.
