they are very helpful when I need it. I've been working w/ Storis since Feb. 2015 with the same company. It is great to have the help when I need it.
Pros: I really like the 'create a report' feature. it can almost do anything, with limitation. I really like how the Purchase orders work too.
Cons: That a lot of orders go on credit hold, but there is no need for them to becuase they meet the 45% thresh hold. And I have had multiple cases open with this issue. Wish there was a way around it. Wish there wasn't a credit hold at all. But when i remove the credit hold, it messes everything else up. I also would like more time allotted per month for issues to be resolved and have it covered.

My overall experience with storis has been very positive. When i started in my current role, we were barely using some of the storis functionality, and we are still discovering new ways to use storis.
Pros: I like the import functionality the most. It makes price adjustments and kit creation quick. I also like their customer support team. They are diligent in getting my issues resolved.
Cons: I dont like that they export something from grid data exports. Suggested price should be able to be exported.

We have been using Storis for over 3 years and the results are extremely good. All departments have been improved by Storis. We have had no problems with sales, daily receipt reports or inventory tracking. Our RF scanners work very well.
Pros: Storis is very organized, the retail sales, cash reporting and inventory tracking work very well. We never have to backtrack to find lost transactions or invoices. The salespeople always can see very easily what happens to returns
Cons: The reporting module, EIS works well for reporting sales but to download results it uses an older version of Excel. I would like more variety of inventory reporting.

Overall, I’m pleased with my experience with Storis. I appreciate how promptly any tickets are resolved and am satisfied with the system as a whole.
Pros: The fact that it is highly industry-oriented and offers specialized tools and features, such as special ordering and multiple fulfillment options.
Cons: The pop-up window for the print option and the requirement to complete all steps before exiting an order can be a bit time-consuming, as there’s no option to exit immediately.

I have worked in the sales and administrative teams, and both aspects of Storis have been great to work with. Truly the only downside is the forms designer, which is only usable with support from Storis.
Pros: Sales Processes and Inventory Management
Cons: Forms Designer is not user friendly and the help pages for it are not detailed.

Pros: STORIS provides a complete set of functionalities tailored for furniture retailers. This includes inventory management, order processing, customer relationship management, mobile point of sale, APIs, and a website that is directly integrated with their ERP system. This all-in-one solution helps streamline our operations and has significantly benefited our company.
Cons: In the past, our company faced challenges with integration, complexity, and a steep learning curve. However, recent updates to STORIS's support have addressed most of these issues. Notably, improvements in client advocate/services relationships, the STORIS Training Academy, the debut of the APIs product, and the help center have made a significant difference for us.

Storis is great to work with - and I will recommend to anyone.
Pros: I love how each item is tracked and the amount of reports.
Cons: Hard to find specific things If you don’t know the right word. Save- too many times in an order Refunds/exchange payments complicated Order view removes what is delivered instead of maybe graying out or marked as delivered.

I have been using STORIS for over 5 years. The one thing that has helped me the most is the personal assistance I receive every month from my client relations advocate. If she doesn't know the answer...she will get it and quickly. STORIS is a great store management system. It is definitely worth the time and investment.
Pros: All-in-one processing for your store. From inventory management, delivery scheduling, to P.O.S. accounting and processing, everything you need. Daily. weekly or monthly reports. Order building and completion, STORIS has is all.
Cons: Due to the vast array of system components, there is quite a bit to learn and get used to. but there is a great help section, tutorials, customer and tech support. There are also courses you can take that walk you through the different systems.

Pros: What I like most about Storis is the ease of use.
Cons: My least favorite thing is the difficulty of creating special order templates.

It is a very good system overall that makes a lot of sense most of the time.
Pros: Most features work in a commonsense way and work together.
Cons: some selection boxes scroll inside, others don't like they are programmed differently, some things remember dates when you last used them others do not. mainly small annoying things.

I have more good experiences than bad ones and I have been using Storis for over 25 years, great system.
Pros: Easy to use and their customer support department is great.
Cons: Getting stuck on trying to build reports. But it's more me that Storis.

Overall the experience has been great! STORIS has always addressed our operational & analytical needs, helps us to achieve efficiency in our warehouse which in turn helps to streamline processes, improve customer communications and increase profitability.
Pros: STORIS has an all-inclusive CRM that provides a great point of sale process, inventory control, logistical scheduling, seamless delivery management. I like the fact that the STORIS team has always been able to meet or go beyond our needs with support and custom programming.
Cons: Can be somewhat expensive, but a great return on the investment.

Overall I've been very happy with STORIS. Their service has always been great and the software is extremely robust and specially developed to meet the needs of the retailer.
Pros: I've been a STORIS user now since 2008 and it provides a solid and robust foundation for all of our business needs. The platform provides a fully integrated top to bottom experience for our purchasing, sales, inventory, shipping and receiving and accounting needs. It keeps our operations super organized all the way through and provides our staff with the data they need to make decisions and keep customers serviced.
Cons: The software platform called SCiX used to interact with the platform is a bit clunky and has a lot of inconsistencies and quirks. Once you are used to it these things are easy to overcome. It isn't glitchy, it works well when you know what to do, but the processes are often unintuitive and sometimes you have to jump through several screens to do simple actions.

Capel has looked at some alternative POS systems, but we keep coming back to Storis for many reasons. The multiple fulfillment options, pre-approval sales, direct ship PO generated within the sales order. The list goes on and then on top of that we receive excellent customer service from [sensitive content hidden] and the Storis staff.
Pros: The customer service is excellent. We are assigned a client representative, ours is [sensitive content hidden], and he calls and checks in with us often. He is always available to assist us with any issues. I appreciate him and knowing Capel has someone who helps bridge between us and Storis. The tech help is also very kind and usually quick to respond to cases.
Cons: Sales orders are paid in full at the time of entry and can have different fulfillment methods. This can cause a single sales order to complete at different times, not necessarily all items at once. This can cause an adjustment in the sales tax applied, often making it appear as if the customer owes more money. The ticket cannot complete with the amount due, and certainly we cannot contact our customers asking for more money.

Overall our experience is very positive. The eStoris integration has been so nice. We now have a fully ecommerce website that does not require us to hire additional people to manage.
Pros: How versatile it is. There are many integrations that work great with it.
Cons: Accounting. It has been confusing for us and our accountant.

We switched to Storis over 20 years ago. I haven't seen anything better in the furniture industry since.

It has been great. Much better than products we had previously used. We are very pleased with it.
Pros: It helps streamline our business operations. Storis' commitment to customer service with follow up phone calls and assistance is greatly appreciated. It seems that Storis is constantly growing and updating their products to adapt to business challenges.
Cons: Any system you just have to learn the prompts, but the use of the tab key for enter took some time to adjust. We deal with with selling yardage of fabric. It would me nice to work in fractions whereas Storis limits us to whole numbers.

STORIS is a long-term partnership and seen as a vital part of our IT infrastructure and we have run our business on it for 20 years. You can grow your applications as your business demands grow.
Pros: It is highly scalable. We enjoy the ability to create customizable solutions, and to run fully integrated processes. We use STORIS as an ERP, CXM, financial reporting tool and website interface. The ecosystem is supported by a comprehensive support library and active team to help at all levels. The ability to adopt new applications as our business evolves is a key advantage; STORIS can integrate with a lot of 3rd party solutions.
Cons: There are some complexities in accessing all front end and setting up routines where experience and training can go a long way, which is supported by the extensive training library and responsive support team.

AAA Positive in all aspects. STORIS has increased our bottom line, inventory accuracy ratio, etc.
Pros: I am the Controller and Operational Manager for a retail furniture and mattress company with multiple locations. I touch every aspect of our business, from accounting, inventory control, receivables, payables, point of sales, marketing, etc. STORIS is the best ERP software we have used in our 47 years in business. From inventory control, point of sale, receivables, payables, etc. STORIS is an excellent software. We have used STORIS since FY2020 and it has been a positive game changer for our company. The support and training availabilities at STORIS are excellent also.
Cons: There are really no cons worth mentioning. There will never be a software that functions exactly like everyone wants it to function. Overall STORIS excels in every area.

User for over 5 years for both sales and operations management. Great for tracking all aspects of sales, finance, and auditing purposes. Accurate reporting for multiple locations.
Pros: Easy for auditing. Updating invoices, finance management. Administrative overrides. Payment processing, and reports.
Cons: Very high volume sales days system might run slower.
