Sage Payroll

Pros: It's easy to use and have several shortcuts to save time BUT you need training which don't get provided. ADDITIONAL COST

Cons: There is NO training and don't even get mentioned in their quotes The installation team guide you but Vs their speed and knowledge...and this is taking hrs of your installation quote. Only stresses me out more due to lack of knowledge.

Pros: easy to use, does send some updates, has good reports. able to input data easily and the process flow works

Cons: does not follow updates for pensions and other legislation, a lot has to be done manually and extra checks

Pros: What I love about Sage Payroll is the easy of setup. We are a union company and Sage Payroll supports the processing of a union payroll. I highly recommend it for this reason alone.

Cons: I guess my only complaint is that it is not a cloud based program and you cannot save files within this software.

Pros: It seems like its good, only used it a short while and have not had any issues thus far.

Cons: There seem to be no glitches or issues i can report as of yet.

Cons: Overly detailed, outdated look, quite clunky.

Pros: Super easy to use for viewing monthly payroll. Very good UI.

Cons: Nothing at all. Cannot fault it in the tine I have utilised for my payroll.

Pros: How easy it is to navigate and report a leaver or a new starter!

Cons: The enter payment settings don’t go back to zero so you have to take bank holidays or annual leave off.

Pros: Easy to use for smaller companies. For Lager Companies Sage professional very difficult

Cons: Only for Smaller companies so need more user friendly for large comp

Pros: The fact that I can save everything in the cloud

Cons: Sometimes the connection is slow and we struggle to work

Cons: The support in SA is lacking. The Consultants are not able to assist with queries or does not come back to one.

Pros: Sage 50 Payroll is an established product and allows for a structured end to end process for the user. It allows the company to payroll BIK's for their employees.

Cons: I've tried hard to think of something and can't!

Cons: I have been using Sage Payroll for over 17 years and have not come across anything that I would change on it.

Pros: It was very simple to migrate from Instant Payroll to the Online version.

Cons: NOT ABLE TO PRODUCE HISTORICAL REPORTS SUMMERISING THE PAYROLL FIGURES IN ORDER TO PREPARE ANNUAL ACCOUNTS. FPS IS SUBMITTED BEFORE P45 CAN BE PRINTED SO LEAVERS HAVE TO BE SUBMITTED WITH RTI REPORT FOR THE NEXT PERIOD. NO LINK TO HMRC WEBSITE TO AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE TAX CODE CHANGES FOR EMPLOYEES

Pros: We like the ability to customize calculations and reports

Cons: Sage does not provide help documents on Statutory reporting

Pros: Simple four-step payroll software, coupled with free HR software and first-class support.

Cons: It is difficult to find anything I don't like about Sage payroll, as it does everything I need it to and more.

Pros: Ease of use, being able to keep up to date with legislation, use of pension module

Cons: Nothing, I like every aspect of SAGE and wouldn't change anything.

Pros: Sage is easy to use and certainly a market-leader for business owners. The ability to quickly and accurately process payroll and provide a self-service function to employees is essential. As is compliance with HMRC. Sage cover all of the basics with a smart UI.

Cons: More could be done to support customers when first signing up, as payroll can be a daunting process at first - that being said, there are articles online to help - although maybe more video content and less jargon would be best suited. Moreover, perhaps Sage should consider better discounts/offers/promotions/recognition of long-term users.
