Customer service is terrible when you have issues. Very slow to respond and resolve. Do not follow up when they say they will. We are looking at other software currently. Save your time and sanity and choose a better company.
Pros: We liked the modern looking interface and all the functions. We were excited to track inventory and have built in checklists.
Cons: Constant issues and bugs. When you reach out to support they never fix the issue, say they will call back or email you, and never do. We are constantly having issues with very few being resolved. Or after being resolved, they happen again. They never call back or email back to give updates. This isn't days, its weeks and they act like we shouldn't be frustrated.

It has helped us scale our business. Being able to track supplies through all the buildings has been a big plus.
Pros: Customer support is willing to schedule meetings with us when we have questions. Ease of use helps when training new cleaners on the app.
Cons: Bugs and issue. Sometimes employees can't check in on jobs or log in. This usually has to do with an update but the user doesn't get notified that they have to update.

It’s been a great tool for streamlining our operations. We’ve reduced admin hours, improved consistency, and freed up more time to focus on our clients. It’s helped us provide better service while also making the day-to-day easier for our team.
Pros: The scheduling, payroll, and inspection features save a ton of time and keep everything organized. It’s easy to track work across multiple sites, and communication with the team has improved a lot.
Cons: There’s a bit of a learning curve at first, and sometimes the app has small glitches, but nothing that stops us from getting the job done.

We are very happy with it. There are rarely any issues and when we do get some, they are quick to fix them. In our line of business, it almost feels as if Clean Smarts was designed for us specifically. It fits our operations like a glove, and allows us to do reporting effortlessly, ensuring our payroll is always well done. Which is extremely important for us.
Pros: I love how precise it is with registering our employees' clock ins and outs. Our target candidates are not necessarily on the tech-savvy side, so having a platform that is easy for them to use is truly a blessing. Having the GPS integration is certainly a plus, since we have many different buildings around the city, and allowing them to see where they are at, and us as well, is amazing. The cleaning management part of it all is the most convenient, since this is literally what we do. In regards to bugs and issues, I would say that they do tend to happen, but thankfully their customer support is good and they are quick to fix these issues.
Cons: Tickets have to be opened one by one. We are a very people-first company, and we like to maintain very active communication with them. There is no way to broadcast messages, which is excruciatingly time-consuming. It would be good for us to be able to create groups, for example with everyone that works at the same building in one group, or other filters to create these groups; such as, same manager, same shift, whole organization, position, etc.

It's been very positive. I've witnessed that they are a step ahead to customers' needs and possess a lot of expertise in the sector. They are very responsive in communication and receptive to suggestions. It's a very well-structured platform and business.
Pros: Expertise in the industry, attention to detail, constant launch of new versions/ updates, and personalized customer support
Cons: Sudden changes to the layout of accounts/locations and spreadsheets. Once every few months, I would encounter the issue that my spreadsheet is not matching the new download on CleanSmarts due to changes in formatting or adding more columns or changing the name of a location.

Overall, Cleansmarts has been very helpful in keeping our employees clocked in and doing a great job with the checklists that we have put in place as well.
Pros: Our company likes the time clock the most. The Geo-fence is essential for our company. This feature helps during our payroll time.
Cons: There are times when the app does not let our employee clock in. There are also times when it will clock the employee out when they are still working.

My experience has been positive overall. I am happy that we use this app and it has helped give me peace of mind in numerous occasions. I would continue to use this app and recommend it to others.
Pros: I like the fact that I can see when my employees clock in and out. This helps me know that they are working on site and I don't have to worry or call them. The fact that I can see inspections also helps me keep track of issues so I can show the customer.
Cons: There are a few times that the geofencing doesn't work right. My employee will tell me that they cannot log in at the location so I have to manually clock them in on my end. Also, there are a few times when the inspections don't come into my mailbox.

We've really appreciated the support from the Clean Smarts team. They consistently respond promptly to our questions and concerns. The built-in User Support feature is also a great resource—it helps answer most of our questions quickly and efficiently.
Pros: Seamless messaging keeps your team connected, while customizable locations and shifts let you tailor the system to your operational needs. GPS integration promotes staff accountability and transparency. For Admins and Supervisors, the mobile app makes it easy to manage users, schedules, and multiple locations from anywhere. Plus, the flexible monthly pricing grows with your business—keeping it both scalable and affordable. Reporting feature helps manage your profits in an excel spreadsheet.
Cons: Details such as addresses, user clock-in times, and in-progress statuses are not displayed in one centralized view. Instead, you need to navigate through different sections to access this information, which can make oversight less efficient compared to the mobile app.

We started with Clean Smarts once we had a couple of employees hired. Many updates and upgrades have continued to make it a robust system to help us operationally.
Pros: Time saver for scheduling and having a closed loop system to confirm supply delivery vs. "hoping" supplies were dropped off at the building.
Cons: Unable to schedule time off for staff who request it in advance. It would be nice to block time out for anyone with approved time off.

This has made my job so much easier. With 100+ people to communicate with frequently. I can't count the hours it has saved me from making calls and emails when i can just send a quick message.
Pros: I love that it makes it so much easier to communicate with my cleaners and my customers. It's fast, It's simple, it saves me so much time.
Cons: There are glitches on occasion but tech support is amazing about helping, they're fast at responding.

My overall experience with Clean Smarts has been very positive. My troubleshooting requests have been answered in a timely manner.
Pros: I adore the UI's ease of use. The program can automate a lot of operational chores and has a low learning curve. The scheduling feature of the software is my favorite feature. I can immediately schedule and switch out cleaners with ease. By including particular checklists and inventory tracking, the application is also incredibly expandable.
Cons: The application can be a little buggy from time to time. I've noticed that it will randomly remove a cleaner from their scheduled shift.

Pros: Its Customer Support is one of THE best in the industry. I've worked before with Customer Service/ Support, and its quality and promptness are just amazing.
Cons: The app is not easy to use for someone who isn't tech-savvy. It should have a camera symbol when uploading for easy usage. Additionally, to access the API or any automation-related features, you must rely heavily on support.

Pros: Our staff ages range for 30-67 and changing software has always been difficult, because our staff doesn't take change well. This software has ben unbelievably easy to transition to, has excellent training and the customer service/support is fantastic. We have used Sweptworks on/off for 3 years and it's like this software is the 3D version of it. They have so many useful reports that make timesheets data, clock in/out, supplies ordering and inspections & checklists functional. App functionality is so simple to use and then the reports bring everything to life. Allows our managers to view reports in real time and push notifications in real time. Plus its half the price, for more that double the features, and that makes it a no brainer for us.
Cons: Having found anything the is a negative. We have asked in adding CRM is in the feature and they said yes.
