Very fast and reliable support for b2b. Good with personal contact in Nordic languages. The product regains control of the company. It builds up the technical foundations for IT-Teams. Handels being more secure.
Pros: Make our company secure and manageable and to make our users more confident i our environment. Patches and assets are one of the most important building blocks in a IT environment today that make the product highly recommended!
Cons: Learning curve could be more satisfying. More video-guides should be appreciated. Maybe recommend customer to try new functions when they arrive in dashboard.

ease of use, once installed it works very easy, no looking back at it or problems with things not working after a while
Cons: setup is somewhat annoyinh because you need the activation key, would be easier to have a direct download/install link for devices instead of login in to your account when setting up a new device

Once the installer is set up via group policy, it's fire and forget. Default endpoint policy covers basic windows and 3rd party patching. Easy adjustments of policies and policy assignments.

Pros: Rollout via Group Policy and msi installer and the default endpoint policy settings are all you need to get going.
Cons: You need to build your license integrated msi yourself, which only works with the HeimdalLatestVersion.msi, but NOT with the Heimdal_Thor_Launcher.msi . So make sure you download the right file for rollout.

Very good, pleased with the product. The technical support is also very proactive. Would recommend the solution.
Pros: Good easy to manage product. Very easy to upload custom apps and patches. Easy to setup different profiles with separate update polices.
Cons: Reporting is improving but still needs more work. It would be good if the product included more options for generating reports and dashboards.

Very positive, it has saved me so much time and brought everything back into a centralised dashboard. Patching is easier now, more efficient and quicker to complete.
Pros: Automation of patch management, centralised console and at a good price. Also very good at patching applications, such as Adobe and browsers.
Cons: Configuration options can be a bit confusing but the support from Heimdal was excellent. Air-gapped support would be advantageous if we could download updates to an on-premise server.

It's a great product, it keeps the auditors happy because I can demonstrate that patching is happening, it keeps the users happy because they don't need to contact the Help Desk to update software and it keeps IT happy because we are more secure.
Pros: It's very easy to use and allows requires very little administration once running. The policy is simple to deploy.
Cons: Navigating the system could be easier, it is sometimes hard to find what I am looking for and reporting could be more flexible.

I'm very very happy with this tool! We had it for over 5 years and we have only had to help the tool update Chrome on one occation and that was not the tools fault but Chrome. They also have a PAM solution which is great.
Pros: It just works! For a small IT department like our, this is what we want. Everything just runs smoothly without any need of help from technicians, it's a dream come true. There are around 300 applications and they are always adding more. Third-party patches are applied automatically without any need of configuration from technicians. They just gets patched. It is great. You can't ask for more!
Cons: The infinity management for your own patches and applications could be a little better. The encryption sometimes break the installation. So can trust it and always need to test the deployment first. With regular msi / exe installation you can just run it without testing on other platforms.

Heimdal has been simple to get deployed on all my endpoints. Working with sales and onboarding has been a pleasant experience as well.
Pros: Heimdal provides an intuitive interface that makes it easy to identify which assets require patching and for what applications. The built in vulnerability rating scores on individual patches allow me to prioritize those that are the greatest risk. Even better, the automatic patching keeps the majority of my applications up to date and even offers an option to patch unsupported apps by uploading the updated files and pushing them out to the endpoints.
Cons: I have not had any issues with Heimdal thus far, it has been an excellent product that simplifies my patch management for my device operating systems and applications.

It's great, both as an admin and as a user. As an admin you will get a great overview and compliance insight, and the user gets an almost uninterupted experience with a serverly improved level of security.
Pros: Heimdal's P&A module is in my opinion the best hyper automated patching solution. It can withstand thirdpary patches, Microsoft updates and my own applications - and addtionally, i am getting a full asset view of the whole environment.
Cons: Sometimes the reboot promt isn't the greatest and the catalogue of applications cloud be bigger

Heimdal Patch & Asset Management is of the same high quality and innovation as their other products. If I was setting up a green-field enterprise, I wouldn't hesitate in deploying the Heimdal Suite as the heart of our security toolset.
Pros: The simplicity of use and the clear visibility of what's needed, and what is being done across the estate, and each device in particular. I particularly like the status information and control which is available to the end user, and the range of software packages covered. Asses information is rich and workable data.
Cons: Sometimes, very rarely, it could tell me that an app needed an update but took an age to enumerate, obtain, and apply the patch.

Overall the product is slick, has many features, and is excellent at blocking encryption processes.
Pros: Heimdal is easy to use, has granular settings and permissions, and includes a light theme as well as dark.
Cons: The remote control function could be easier to configure and use.

The experience has been really great, [sensitive content hidden] has been an amazing sales rep and has helped getting everything set up for us.
Pros: The panel is very easy to navigate, It reports on the apps installed and lets you know the version each is on and legacy management is amazing for installing your own apps.
Cons: Honestly, so far I don't really have any complaints. the hardest part was understanding how to push apps with the legacy management but after I understood it it was a lot easier

An excellent, secure and easy to use package with great support.
Pros: The Heimdal Patch and asset management seamlessly creates a register of all software assets in our estate. It is straight forward, secure and easy to use. Patches are automatically applied to client machines which saves time and increases security.
Cons: Sometimes on mornings when there are a lot of updates being installed the system can be slow while updates are installing in the background.

Pros: The ease in the way we can now apply Windows updates and updates to 3rd party applications. This has reduce our workloads considerably and freed up our time to work on other projects
Cons: The support pages could be a lot better we have not found them to be too helpful whilst experiencing issues in the past. This took up a lot of our time going back and forth with your support team.

Brilliant, we won't be going back anytime soon their support team has blown us away with their assitance and how they are happy ot go above and beyond everytime.
Pros: We deploy Heimdal to replaced Sophos and immediately discovered that their response times and professional responses from their support team are simply exceptional, direct access to subject matter experts on a tricky subject. Absolutely brilliant.
Cons: The setup did require some in depth knowledge of hte product particularly around getting the policies setup correctly for our particiular setup. Documentation was not always there, their support team however was.

I primarily use Heimdal P&A for monitoring Windows patch deployment, since we already have other ways of handling these, however P&A adds highly usefull insigths into patching status for clients. The 3. party patch management is highly usefull, and makes the everyday 3. party application patching a lot easier.
Pros: Heimdal Patch & Asset Management delivers a low cost entry point to managing patches for both windows and 3rd party applications. Many of our applications are including, and new applications are continously being added.
Cons: While there still could be more 3. party applications that could be added, support is always quick to answer and respond.

Pros: overall functionality, easiness and straightforward approach.
Cons: some applications, like mozilla thunderbird updates are not well maintained. maybe I would expect some more centralized logs about updated and not updated apps. positive thing can also be some monthly summary overview of what was done and what not
