Great! customer service is 10/10 too! The implementation is great and super helpful. Those assigned to us are supportive and responsive. We appreciate the ease of roller.
Pros: We do love how it's simple. POS friendly. Office friendly. straight forward on the front end for customers. Discount codes/blocking of dates is easy.
Cons: A couple limitations with booking over the phone. Registration fee's not being an option. We'd also love to require people to sign off on more terms/conditions/have to agree to more with parties before booking but we have found some ways around that. We also hit some road blocks with customers being able to select a type of party within that party listing but hopefully finding ways around that too :).

Overall, ROLLER has been a strong operational backbone for our business. It significantly improves efficiency across admissions, waivers, and transactions, and supports a smoother guest experience.
Pros: ROLLER provides a very streamlined and integrated system for managing operations. The all-in-one functionality—covering ticketing, waivers, POS, and reporting—makes daily management much more efficient. The online booking experience is clean and user-friendly, which helps drive advance sales and reduces friction at check-in. Real-time reporting and analytics are also valuable for tracking performance and making operational decisions quickly

We have been working with this system for about 3 years now and about every month I find a problem with both POS and Booking manage.
Pros: Given the frequency and volume of issues encountered on a weekly to monthly basis, I have concerns about the overall effectiveness of this system.
Cons: Complicated and multiple steps to set up a simple product, Bookings, making any change to a booking, check revenue, checking in/payment process. Fails to connect well with our website/waiver process and location/chrome browser.

Terrible experience, from the platform not being user friendly to losing customers due to it dropping all memberships after a year to being stuck with slow costumer service that usually leads to us troubleshooting and going to a hard copy by hand because the answer is "no" or "you need to upgrade to the pro version". Our indoor playground has not had a good experience at all with Roller.
Pros: Not much at all. Especially the fact that Roller caused us to lose 15% of our monthly memberships because it didn't roll over after a year and we had to reach out and ask them to sign up again. Very expensive as well.
Cons: Overpriced. Terrible costumer service so that issues do not get resolved in a timely manner and the customer is always gone by the time they respond. The answer to any issue is usually "buy the pro version". After a year it deleted the membership accounts and we had to get all members to re-enlist therefore losing a good portion of our costumers. They increased an already high price by 7% this year. Even after severe dissatisfaction they refuse to let us out of our contract for the remainder of the year.

Overall makes our business run smoother and faster, with less hiccups! The booking system works great, and we haven't had a single double booking!
Pros: Great customer service, the system is obviously built with business success in mind. It's easy to add products, including special event tickets, and things just make sense!
Cons: Sometimes have issues with guests using company cards, the system declines for some reason. Also need the ability to add more automated emails based on what the users want to send.

Overall, my experience with ROLLER as an Events Manager has been mixed but largely positive. The platform is strong for managing party and group bookings, tracking payments, and coordinating waivers, which helps keep event operations organized. Having bookings, guest details, and transactions in one system improves visibility and reduces manual follow-ups. However, during high-volume event days, some processes such as editing bookings, handling last-minute changes, and processing refunds can feel slow or overly complex. While ROLLER is a powerful system, certain workflows and reporting tools could be more intuitive and flexible to better support fast-paced event management. With improvements in speed, usability, and customization, it would be an even more effective tool for managing events efficiently.
Pros: What I liked most about ROLLER is its all-in-one functionality. It centralizes waivers, ticketing, memberships, party bookings, and POS into a single system, which helps streamline front desk operations. The real-time syncing of waivers and bookings reduces manual work and speeds up guest check-ins, especially during peak hours. The reporting tools are also useful for tracking sales and attendance, which supports better daily and operational decision-making.
Cons: some workflows are not very intuitive, especially for new staff. Certain tasks such as modifying bookings, processing refunds, or switching between POS and booking screens require multiple steps and can be time-consuming during busy periods. Occasional system lag and delayed syncing also impact front-desk efficiency during peak hours.

ROLLER is a powerful, reliable platform that continues to evolve in meaningful ways. It’s well-suited for venues that need strong operational tools, clear reporting, and dependable payment processing. The team is forward-thinking, and while there are occasional growing pains as the company scales, the overall value and long-term direction of the product are excellent
Pros: I’ve been using the ROLLER platform for over five years and have consistently been impressed with how forward-thinking the company is. ROLLER stays ahead of the curve by regularly releasing new features that genuinely improve day-to-day operations and back-office workflows, especially around accounting and reporting. The support team is knowledgeable and helpful, and I appreciate how ROLLER has expanded its support options over time, making it easier to get assistance when needed. Communication around product releases and new features is also very clear, which makes adoption and training much smoother. Payment processing is a standout feature. The reporting is detailed, transparent, and easy to understand, making it simple to track funds and reconcile transactions.
Cons: Support response times can occasionally be slower than ideal for urgent issues. While ROLLER is clearly growing and scaling, there are moments where faster turnaround would make a big difference, especially for time-sensitive operational needs.

ROLLER started as a promising, well-supported solution, but the decline in customer success and the way basic tools are locked behind higher tiers mean I’d really struggle to recommend it now – in fact, we’re actively trying to move off the platform, and predictably our customer success manager has gone silent on us yet again.
Pros: I’m giving ROLLER 1 star, and it’s not because the core product is useless – it’s because the overall experience has gone sharply downhill. When we first started with ROLLER, it actually felt like a great product with solid support. Onboarding was smooth, there was a lot of hand-holding, and it felt like we had real partners helping us get set up for success. On the positive side, that original promise is still visible in the capacity management and price rules, which are genuinely good. They’re flexible, fairly intuitive, and make it easy to manage sessions, peak/off-peak pricing and promos. Day-to-day operations are fine once everything is configured.
Cons: Customer success has basically disappeared. Where we once had responsive help, our customer success managers now often go completely quiet on important questions, or take so long to reply that the issue is no longer relevant. For software at this price point, being ghosted like that is unacceptable. Basic marketing integrations are paywalled. Meta and TikTok pixels are treated as “premium” features, even though ROLLER already earns commission on sales going through the system. Penalising venues for trying to generate more revenue via paid marketing feels backwards. Poor value compared to alternatives. There are other platforms where these “premium” features are included as long as you’re using their system, which makes ROLLER’s upsell model feel out of touch and bad value for money.

Roller literally saved our business when our previous POS supplier switched us off just as school holidays were starting. Operating a Trampoline Adventure Park, this was catastrophic to our business. After being referred to Roller by a friend of ours, Rollers amazing team were able to get us set up and operating ON THE SAME DAY. Still to this day, their platform has yet to fail us ( as the previous POS company did time and time again ), and their ongoing training and support have simply been amazing.
Pros: Easy user interface face / platform, Unbelievable personalized support, Great value. Secure, Prompt Payment processing and waiver system.
Cons: I am yet to find an issue with Roller. The only problem we had was not utilizing their system first.
Cameron W. · Director · Entertainment · November 4, 2025
I would say somewhat satisfied. Although there are some obstacles, especially in online booking. The enhancements, updates and sharing the pulse report is very useful. I hope you can share the recorded webinar too for those who cannot attend due to the time difference.
Pros: Value for money & User Interface. The continuous enhancement, upgrade and accessibility. The response time of the customer support.
Cons: Limitations on payment method. Currently, limited to Visa & Mastercard Looking forward to seeing an integration with RFID wristbands. Limitation to link the waiver holder in multiple venues in the same country. Complex waiver system.
Allan G. · Operations Manager · Entertainment · October 2, 2025
OK. Was very proactive up to 6 months ago in developing and sorting out issues. Over the last 6 months not much development.
Pros: The ability to make timed group bookings by creating resources. Can send booking directly to customer
Cons: ITs integration with Volare now Roller Karting. There has been no real improving in the last 6 months like promised. We can't time items for sale e.g. Happy hour lunch time specials. Promised membership would be great for our business but it doesn't work in our environment. Roller has been very slow to respond and offering no solution With Roller payments our funds are held for days. Every other eftpos co pays daily. Other Karting venues have left Roller. We have a second venue and are not convinced to change to Roller. We are about to open a third and are giving thought to options
John P. · director · Entertainment · September 30, 2025
Overall, our experience is good with roller. However, there are some challenges that are still there that need to be overcome by the company such as noted above.
Pros: I really enjoy the easy to use nature of the POS machine and vending manager for all my staff. I also really enjoy how easy it is for a guest to purchase tickets through our online ticketing system. Customer support was a problem in the very beginning but the last year or so with the new system it seems to be a lot faster and we get answers a little bit quicker.
Cons: We have had a lot of connection issues and payment processing problems over the last year. I also wish that the inventory reporting and system was a bit more comprehensive.

We've been using the Roller POS system and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and user-friendly design. One of the standout features is its ease of use—both staff and management quickly adapted to the system with minimal training, which helped streamline our day-to-day operations. The real-time reporting capabilities are another major advantage. Having instant access to up-to-date sales and performance data allows us to make informed decisions quickly, helping to improve both efficiency and customer service. Additionally, guests have consistently given positive feedback about the online checkout experience. The process is straightforward, intuitive, and hassle-free, which greatly enhances the overall customer experience and helps drive repeat business. Overall, Roller provides a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly POS solution that supports both operational needs and guest satisfaction.
Pros: Ease of use for team and guests creating new tickets is a breeze guests find check out easy to use Real time reporting
Cons: So far, I haven't found anything I don't love about the platform Only thing I wish we could control more is designing the emails we send to guests for confirmations
Kimberly H. · Corporate Director of Administration · Entertainment · September 27, 2025
We switched from another provider to Roller in the middle of the year and have had many positive experiences so far. The possibilities, usability, and customer support are truly outstanding. Customer service is also very good, and the online checkout interface is very appealing. Some functions, such as independently moving/canceling bookings, do not always work intuitively enough.
Pros: Flexible product design and event ticketing , intuitive operation especially for scheduling, transparent payments and invoicing, versatile evaluation options, customer support very helpful and easily accessible,
Cons: Chargeback process and transparency, Limited possibility to adjust payment methods retrospectivally (SEPA payments), no automatic user log off for venue manager
Luisa P. · Entrepreneurs · Sports · September 27, 2025
Overall, I'm not impressed. Things constantly change on this platform and it's difficult to keep up with all of the changes. For the astronomical fees Roller charges, support should be better and more consistent with solving issues AND on boarding. This platform has the ability to be GREAT for GM's and owners but the compatibility lacks with what GM's and owners are looking for.
Pros: - Online portal for customers. - Add on's for jump time and party packages make it easy for parents to know what we have thats an additional add on. - Easy check in process with online tickets.
Cons: - Reporting isn't consistent or accurate. - Training now going remote eliminates the ability to get ahead of issues. - No clock in/ out feature to help GM's track their #1 expense that is within their control... THEIR PAYROLL! - Support center is a joke. I've had to figure out CC processor issues every week with no help from Roller support. - Trainer didn't take training at MY pace, and assumed I have looked at the system before ever being introduced to it. - Transitioning from one system to the other SHOULD NOT be as difficult as it was with C.E. Waivers didn't carry over. Gift card numbers went missing. It was a horrible transition. - Birthday party reporting... HORRIBLE!!! Should be able to scroll between months to make running audits easier.
Jared W. · District Manager · Entertainment · September 26, 2025
Roller has some good features but lacks meaningful reporting capabilities and has no ability to function on a mobile device. I do not recommend it.
Pros: Ease of use. The dashboard works well and the ability to update products, etc. works reasonably well.
Cons: The fact that there’s no app and I can’t see sales on my phone is maddening. I can’t even see it on a browser because that doesn’t work either.
Roger D. · CEO · Entertainment · September 26, 2025
Very good, booking for parties is much better enabling us to maximize bookings, normal online bookings are great overall
Pros: Makes our online bookings alot easier especially around parties and group booking, accounts are very easy to interpret and see
Cons: can sometime be hard to work out how to do something but a quick email to support and it is sorted very quickly
Ian M. · General manager · Entertainment · September 26, 2025
Overall I am happy with how Roller functions, I've seen better systems but also worse! It's a solid system.
Pros: The Roller user interface and the customer support are good. Functionality of the system overall is good too.
Cons: Some limited ticketing functionality and complicated set up processes initially. Support in set up could have been better - we definitely required a bit more hand holding!
Shannon R. · Operations Manager · Recreational Facilities and Services · September 26, 2025
If I had to pick again I would not pick this system. The sales staff made promises the software does not deliver and I have not found the support to be helpful with any of the back office items I have brought to them.
Pros: The customer facing side of this works better than our old system. I like the digital tickets and the ability to book events online.
Cons: It doesn't do everything they promise and it is very complicated to do certain things. Their support is not helpful. It does not calculate sales tax accurately.
Amanda N. · CFO · Non-Profit Organization Management · September 25, 2025
My overall experience with ROLLER is positive. The platform is stable, the schedule-based setup makes peak/off-peak ticketing straightforward, and managing parties, capacity, and vouchers/gift cards is efficient. Reporting covers the basics and support responses are timely. The main friction is promotions: the newest Price Rule works only on Progressive Checkout, which creates inconsistency for sites that remain on Legacy. Adding Price Rule support (or an equivalent) to Legacy, plus a bit more flexibility in promo conditions and email-template customization, would make ROLLER excellent end-to-end.
Pros: I love how easy it is to organise peak and off-peak tickets—fast edits, clear schedule, consistent pricing.
Cons: Price Rule – Current Limitation The latest Price Rule update does not work on Legacy Checkout. It is only available on Progressive Checkout. Impact: Sites remaining on Legacy Checkout cannot apply the new Price Rule logic, which may lead to inconsistent promo handling across flows. Please provide flexibility for merchants who choose to remain on Legacy Checkout—either by enabling Price Rule compatibility on Legacy or offering an equivalent mechanism without forcing a full checkout upgrade.

Having converted our system from booknow, the ease of roller is an important feature. It is both booking and customer friendly and easy to use. The conversion team was also a great help
Pros: Ease of Use once the system is in place plus how the system becomes more convenient the more it is used. Also, the training videos are a huge assistance. Also, having the payment system fully integrated is a huge help
Cons: Moving/ uploading information when moving from Booknow. Not so much on the Roller end. But gathering the info and then having it imported but it being deleted between uploads and review to publish live. Also, the invoicing is less formal then some of our groups prefer
Patty M. · Assistant General Manager · Recreational Facilities and Services · September 24, 2025
Good would recommend as it have helped massively with managing guest and the session no problem at all
Pros: The way it handles guest and the easy use of it can be hard to set up some activities if it over laps other sessions
Cons: Cards machines are always playing up and seems to hate the internet and disconnect all the time but have now hard wired them in
Callum H. · Managering Director · Entertainment · September 24, 2025
Pretty good, you can navigate it easily when you know what you are doing and it was easy to learn, and you can go back and find old tickets
Pros: Its easy to navigate, the side bar makes it easy to find where you wabt to go and get back to where you were, its also easy to add waivers to an event
Cons: The multiple steps to add product to your menu, i forget where i am and do sone steps over ajd over again
Carrie P. · General Manager · Entertainment · September 23, 2025
In the past three years: customer support response times have reduced a lot. Everytime when we think about leaving roller, it releases an update and we like to use it. After the integrated payment processing was released it has been a breeze to use reconcile features.
Pros: The UI, Intergrated Payments Processing and Customer facing ticketing experience is very seamless. Added fee feature.
Cons: Gift card tracking is not accurate. Accounts receivable and deferred revenue breakdown is not available. Reports section has come a long way but needs more.
