My experience with TikTok has been mixed. The platform is powerful and offers huge reach potential, especially for creators and businesses trying to grow an audience. At the same time, some parts of the user experience feel less polished than they could be. There are a lot of tools and features available, but the overall layout and workflow can sometimes feel unintuitive. It has strong potential, but there is room for improvement in usability.
Pros: TikTok has a powerful algorithm and gives creators and businesses a real opportunity to reach large audiences without needing a massive following. The ability for content to gain traction quickly is one of the platform’s biggest strengths, and the content discovery system can be very effective.
Cons: The platform can feel confusing and unintuitive at times. Settings, business tools, and creator features can be difficult to navigate, and it sometimes feels like features are hidden behind multiple menus. The experience can also feel inconsistent and occasionally cluttered.

I was familiar with TikTok on a non-professional level. Our clinic loves to use it to create short/fun content to connect with our clients. We love the creator programs that are available and being able to link to ads to build revenue.
Pros: Its so easy to link products and connect ads to our videos to be able to create revenue for a fraction of a cost.

Overall, TikTok is just entertaining. It’s the kind of app you open for “a minute” and suddenly it’s been half an hour. Whether you’re watching or posting, it’s easy to use and full of random fun. Even with a few quirks, it’s still one of the most addictive apps out there.
Pros: TikTok is one of those apps that’s way too easy to get lost in. The endless scroll, quick videos, and super smart algorithm make it fun to use without thinking too hard. There’s always something new including funny clips, trends, recipes, hacks, or random stuff you didn’t know you needed.
Cons: t can definitely eat up your time without you realizing it, and the algorithm can get a little repetitive if you don’t switch things up. Some features feel a bit cluttered, and the ads pop up more often than you’d like. Plus, editing videos on the app can be a little finicky sometimes.

Started using it back in 2024, just to consume content not as a creator, because I rely on the platform to get some local info.
Pros: It's easy to learn thing because they have a lot of creators and at the same time you connect with new people through lives sessions they have a monetization program, it's fun.
Cons: It's a little bit addicting because of the short content on there, sometimes you forget that you have a life outside the platform!

Overall, I love Tiktok the way it is providing creators a platform to showcase their talent and potentially make some side money. From a viewer perspective though, I'm abit doubtful whether it is adding any value.
Pros: What I like most about Tiktok is how it is providing an opportunity for creators to make money out of the platform by showcasing their talent. Moreover, I like how their algorithm is designed - if people like your video, it goes viral overnight, doesn't take long to hit 1M in views. Insane!
Cons: From a creator perspective, I wish Tiktok start rolling out Tiktok Creator funds program to more and more countries. I think right now it is limited to 4-5 countries only. That way, it could get more and more quality creators join the platform.

I generally enjoy making and consuming content on Tik Tok. I find it pretty easy to create good short form content with the video maker they have.
Pros: I enjoy the fun format and ease of use. It is a very creative way to express yourself or your business ideas and gain support and followers.
Cons: It can be distracting and as with many forms of social media you risk unwanted negative interactions.

Overall I love TikTok and I will always use it, I have been a user of TikTok before it was even called TikTok! I have always loved this app and I will always love it. I never have any issues with it and I use it pretty much every single day!
Pros: I like that you can view all kinds of different videos and from all around the world. I think that TikTok has an amazing value for money as well as customer support, and I never have any issues or bugs with it. It is very easy to use and you can customize it however you want. Great music and audio and you can make your own sounds as well. Screen sharing is also super easy to do!
Cons: The only con that I have with TikTok personally is that there are so many sponsored videos on my feed, which I do not love, but I can just scroll past them and it is no big deal at all!

Overall it's great. I like using it a lot and find the videos to be more authentic that YouTube videos
Pros: The videos are short. I'm very impatient so don't like watching really long videos especially when they spend the first 5 min telling me to subscribe and like their videos
Cons: Sometimes the videos say they're going to tell me something but the video ends without them getting to what they were going to tell me.
