Landlord Studio

Pros: Customer service is outstanding! When you have a question, they are there. Lots of videos are provided to help you navigate and learn the APP. I also like that logging into the App on my phone only requires me to remember four numbers.

Cons: I have not come across anything that I don't care for at this time. I currently manage only two properties on my own.

Pros: I use Landlord Studio to track my expenses for taxes. When tax time comes, I press a button and my Schedule E prints.

Cons: The need for my bank to participate with Plaid for bank account linking (my bank doesn't use Plaid.)

Pros: Landlord Studio makes it very easy to track rental income and expenses in one place. The interface is clean and intuitive, and I especially like how simple it is to categorize transactions and generate reports for tax time. It saves me a lot of manual spreadsheet work and gives me confidence that my numbers are accurate. The mobile app is also great for logging expenses on the go.

Cons: Like any robust tool, it takes a little time to get everything set up exactly how you want it, but once it’s configured it runs very smoothly. There are a few areas where additional customization or reporting options could be nice in the future, but the existing features already cover the vast majority of what I need.

Pros: Ease of use. Reporting tools I need for tax time. Easy to keep track of multiple properties. Excellent value for money

Cons: I know this will sound like I'm sucking up, but I honestly can't think of anything that I don't like about this app. I think the only thing I don't use at the moment is the online listing and tenanting portion of the software.

Pros: Landlord Studio is a great help for tracking accounting and expense processing. I also love the payment processing feature. The platform is very easy to use.

Cons: I had difficulty utilizing the tenant application with an international student without a social security number.

Pros: Having used Craigslist for the past few decades, I couldnt use it anymore due to the prevalence of spam and lack of leads. I found Landlord Studio and it is my new go to. #1-critical - It confirms ownership of property and will not publish until you show ownership. My property was used as spam on craigslist and everyone using that platform knows it is full of spam. Landlord Studio prevents spam and that is HUGE. #2 - it syndicates my listing across platforms, especially Zillow which seems to be used by most in my area (no cost). #3 - it has a clean, simple platform to quickly set up my listing and #4 - It offers to handle the application and vetting process if you so choose.

Cons: My only feedback is when initially my listing wasnt approved, it would have been helpful if in the automated response it told me what was wrong with my listing (had my cell phone in the listing which I am glad you prevent, as I learned that even that gets spammed). When I logged into my account, it still didnt let me know what the problem was. That could have been enough for me to abandon my efforts but fortunately, you were very quick to respond to my email to let me know what the problem was.

Pros: Dashboards and the reporting! Fantastically clear and useful reports that give a great overall view of the properties I own! Allows me to easily see the status of rent due and the categories of expenses that consume dollars!!!

Cons: Would be good if properties could have unique currencies assigned to them. If you have properties in different currency markets, this would reduce to the need for multiple accounts! Getting more countries in with direct to Bank accounts would be a huge advantage too!

Pros: I'm still learning about this great app to manage our apartments. I really like having all the records and reports so easily accessible! There's so much built into this program. Thank you very much!

Cons: I have no complaints or changes to offer. If I do come across something I don't understand I'll contact your support team for assistance.

Cons: One limitation I encountered with Landlord Studio is that once a tenant is set up, you cannot change the rent payment frequency. This can be inconvenient if a tenant’s payment schedule changes or if adjustments are needed later on.

Pros: Landlord Studio has a full featured app that is very easy and convenient to use. There is no difference in experience between the app or website. Both top notch.

Cons: The price per unit to use landlord studio has really increased since we first started using Landlord Studio. I wish they would offer pricing in Canadian dollars.

Pros: I’ve been using Landlord Studio to manage my rental property, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The platform makes it easy to create detailed tenant profiles and upload lease agreements directly to their file. I can conveniently track rental payments and expenses, and even upload receipts using either the desktop or mobile app. One of the standout features is the tenant portal, which allows tenants to submit maintenance requests seamlessly. On top of that, Landlord Studio provides a wide range of free resources to support landlords. The monthly subscription is very affordable, making it great value for the services offered. Overall, I highly recommend Landlord Studio to any landlord looking for a simple, efficient, and budget-friendly property management solution.

Cons: 1) No Move-in & Move-out reports via mobile app. 2) No E-leases like other programs. 3) US focused. No background checks / credit checks for Canadians 4) Can move organization expenses to one specific property.

Pros: So easy to use, both on phone and laptop. I can manage routine payments so easily when on holiday. The reminders work well, and the support is fast, appropriate and from friendly people.

Cons: I can’t really think of anything I don’t like. It is obviously written by people who manage properties.

Pros: It’s very simple to operate and the people take care of you. If you have a problem right away, it is a great company and a great app.

Cons: I can’t think of anything. They have always taken care of any problem I’ve had but very few problems I’ve had that I was not able to figure out myself very easily

Pros: The customer service is stellar. So if I’m confused they answer my chat in literally minutes. And they respect you so I don’t feel “dumb”! I can have tenants pay online. Also I love how I can upload my credit card and bank info so I don’t have to manually input these.

Cons: Sometimes it’s not intuitive for me) but customer service responds in minutes! So, not a problem.

Pros: I was a first time entreprenuer who ventured into real estate in another city. Landlord Studio has been a very professional and convenient platform which lets me track expenses and maintenance request. I am also loving the ACH payment processing which has made it easy for my tenant and I both.

Cons: Havent come across any Cons yet. But, everytime I have a question or query the customer service reps are always there to help and support.

Pros: Short learning curve. I was able to find all the features I was looking for.

Cons: Bank down loads were a bit confusing at first. I had to contact support.

Pros: The support, I had an issue that was only happening on my iPad. I reached out to the team and the next day there was an update pushed in the App Store directly quoting the issue I had.

Cons: I have nothing bad to say. I haven’t used the app to the full extent yet. I wish there was a communications section where you could message tenants and send out mass notifications easily.

Pros: Delighted with Landlord Studio! It's incredibly user-friendly and has a clean, easy-to-read interface. I opted for Landlord Studio over other options primarily because of its mobile layout, which I find convenient. The color scheme is appealing, and I appreciate how effortlessly everything is presented. It truly encompasses all the necessary features.

Cons: Editing leases, especially adjusting the start and end dates, isn't as straightforward as I'd like it to be. I have multiple tenants who don't stay for the entire year, and terminating their leases isn't simple. It would be helpful if there were an option to end the lease if a tenant vacates before the term ends.

Pros: I can keep all information about my rental properties in one place.

Cons: As EU customer I cannot connect my bank account and have my rent payments automatically tracked. As a result, everything in the application seems manual. Instead of receiving a quick overview of the current situation when I login, I have to work hard to bring everything up to date manually first. Sometimes it feels I have to work for the app, instead of the app working for me.

Pros: Tracking Expense Receipts to help submit tax return at the end of the year

Cons: Dashboard does not look accurate. Expense and income are off

Pros: It is easy to add and track expenses on the property either on desktop or on the app. The app feature of reading through receipts to autofill the form is fantastic and easy to use.

Cons: Rent tracking is difficult to manage as I have an external property manager managing my properties. They pay on a particular date of the month, not each week which is difficult to marry up in Landlord Studio.
