Pros: Did my first review back in 2017 after using the product for a year. It's now 8 years we've been on it and we still love it. Our customer service needs are minimal but when I do need help they they've been very responsive.
Cons: no complaints - think we've only gone down a couple times in 8 years and they responded well and quickly resolved.

We would still be using this software if they had any kind of customer service after the sales team is done with you. The software is great until it's not, and if you need help, you're on your own.
Pros: The product is excellent for multi channel pet businesses
Cons: The retail module is clunky and unwieldy. Hard to update and use. Customer service is nonexistent. They have a Facebook page where you can ask other users for help because they will never respond. I needed to revamp our entire retail inventory, and was emailing with a rep for several months, no help was forthcoming due to "staffing issues," i was as patient as i coyld be while continuing to check in, finally she just ghosted me.

Great to book boarding and grooming spots.
Pros: Easy to use to book appointments for pet grooming. It is is very organized!
Cons: There is a few bugs sometimes but mostly a great software to use.

Pros: Love remote access. It’s simplicity in design and use is by far the best ; I tried many of the top runners. Reports for anything you can think of — they are a huge help. Text feature, especially reminders are game changer. Saved tons of money on no shows.
Cons: Kennel view, while much better than other software is still visually very cumbersome and needs improvement. Unsure how much improvements will happen in future as they don’t seem to be making many changes or at least don’t communicate to customers if they plan to.

Positive! Lots you can do with this app to make sure your business is running as smooth as possible!
Pros: Very user friendly & helps keep scheduled super organized! Love how you can text/share pictures with clients right from the app, accept payments, manage daycare/boarding schedules & activities. Keeps great track of all the dogs you interact with & their health history!
Cons: I don't really have bad things to say about this app, sometimes it freezes & refunding customers is still an issue.

We opened our kennel in October 2019. Having studied and demoed several kennel packages we went with Propet. One of the best decisions we made. I'm extremely pleased with the software and thrilled with the customer service.
Pros: -Our customers like it -Dashboard arrangement -Options and custom settings -CUSTOMER SERVICE - OUTSTANDING -Reasonable Price -Cloud based -Interface
Cons: There are a few minor nits but nothing worth mentioning and they are always making improvements and additions to the functionality which they keep in an easy to see little icon on the lower right of the screen that you can click to see a log of updates.

ProPet saves time and paper by providing a comprehensive all in one solution
Pros: great idea for software and helps mange and track kennel's daily activities. All in one solution for busy business owners. Helps save time and paper.
Cons: The software itself is not super friendly and easy to use. You have to contact customer care once or twice to get a grip on how to use all available features.

Amazing price, amazing program, and amazing response when you have a questions (Although the software is so easy to use, that we rarely ask for anything) They have offered new things (incident report) which we a smart idea and we love it and are using it now for complaints so we can be on top of the issue asap.
Pros: There are TOO many great things about this program. Purchased a wonderful Daycare & Grooming facility that was high paced, and growing. I had tested out two other systems that were either not user intuitive or too costly. I reviewed the software over the weekend (YES 2 DAYS AND I WAS HOOKED). Implemented it the following month, and all the staff were using and loving within the first day. The reports are amazing to use. Emails to the customers works flawlessly, and we have customers using the customer portal to book appointments and they love it!.
Cons: The system data dumps to Quickbooks (You can run a report to ensure that it has worked which is great). The only issue is the the cross API with TWO TAXES doesn't work in Quickbooks. So when two taxes are transferred quickbooks gets confused and thinks the customer overpaid one of the taxes. Quickbooks says its not their issue, but it clearly looks like it.

It is a great product that continues to provide us with the features we need to be an efficient business striving to provides great communication and customer service.
Pros: We have been able to customize the features to suit our business needs. We feel as though we are learning to utilize more of the features each month and it makes us increasingly more efficient. Whenever we have questions - customer service is very responsive!!
Cons: Some of our customers struggled a bit with the client interface, but that would be true for any software we chose to use.

When you have an idea or need something fixed within the software, the customer service reps are programmed to tell you that your idea is wonderful and that it will be placed on their list of great ideas, but nothing ever gets done. There is no tracking of open support tickets or follow up to help requests. There is no searchable help screen from within the software. You can search and external, ProPet knowledge base but it is very out-of-date and clunky. To me, the annual price I paid is no longer worth the value of the product/service I receive. However, once you have used ProPet for a period of time, it's hard to make the switch to another program.
Pros: It does help me manage my kennel space well. With ProPet I can avoid double bookings. Clients seem to find it easy enough to use.
Cons: While there is some room to customize the major and standard functions for my business, not all functions are that useable. We don't use the words "colour" and "cheque" in the US, it would be nice to have an American version of the software. What should be standard functions, you must create your own "rule" for to enable them to work properly. For example, there is no way to block clients from submitting reservations when you are going to be closed for a period of time. You can show on the calendar (X'd out dates) when you will be closed, but a client can still submit a reservation as long as their dates are on either side of your closed dates. You can't easily indicate when you kennel is completely full to clients and can no longer take reservation requests. You simply have to "cancel" every request as it comes in for the period you are full. If you like reports, ProPets has tons of reports, I think I use 2 -3 of them.

Pros: It is very flexible for many types of services. Response from them is quick and effective. They are always improving the product.
Cons: Daycare dogs are required to be assigned a run. It’s really a little thing that doesn’t effect our business but if I have to pick one thing that would be it.

I’ve had an excellent experience with this software for running my dog daycare. My clients love being able to access and book their pets in. It provides immediate organization of your bookings, clients and pet information. I can’t imagine not having it to run a dog daycare.
Pros: It was easy to use. The support team was always there to help if we couldn’t figure something out. They provided on going training for any new staff that I had.
Cons: Nothing! I like all the features. They are constantly working to upgrade and improve.

I had GREAT customer service during my trial phase, they responded VERY promptly to me and I got a direct person. As soon as that was over though, I automatically started getting kicked into a ''help ticket'' format, which I didn't care for as much, simply because it seemed to remove the personal element out of it. BUT they were still prompt with it (1-2 business days) so I can't really complain about that, just note that it removed a bit of the personal element of it. I adore their private facebook community, smart move on their part. I really wish they had more demo's on youtube. Specifically short, but detailed how to steps to accomplish micro tasks within their system. More of those instead of longer huge catch all video's that encompass several things.
Pros: Once you take the time to really go through and set it up to ''automate" everything for you, it's worth it. It's a killer going through and setting that up at first though (expect to put some hours in getting it fine tooth combed before it's smooth). Overall I think the portal via customer side of things is very slick looking, almost all of my clients love the look!
Cons: I absolutely hate that my clients can't pick an actual ''service time/date'' for their request from an availability. I don't know if this is something they are working on, but this is the crux of the system for me. I don't want 50 million phone calls just to schedule this, I want them to pick their time/date and I'll ''confirm'' or ''deny'' the request, but I need to remove the element of back and forth here's x,y, z dates and times back and forth yada that could easily be eliminated. I've heard rumor they are working on this, just haven't seen it yet.

Pros: I have a vet friend who needed some help around the office and had recently switched to ProPet software. The staff at the office were super impressed with the software. They were able to move many of their existing tools onto the 'all-in-one' type software with ProPet. When I played around with it, I found it incredible well built with things where you wanted them to be. It didn't take long to become familiar with the layout and the location of the items you needed. The owner really like the ability to add modules as needed (ex. boarding/daycare).
Cons: I didn't get a chance to play around with the software enough to find my own con's, but the staff complained that moving from existing systems was tough as data elements were either not aligned or not present. Therefore it took them a while to update records, which in the long run is a good thing.

It has made our day to day work life much easier.
Pros: I have tried a few different programs, this is by far the best. Easy to navigate and enter new clients. Doesn't freeze on me in the middle of entering new clients. Quick check ins.
Cons: I haven't found anything that I dislike.

Has been good the migration process was smooth. It has drastically reduced the time spent in the office. I feel its more personnel experience for the customer with them having their own account for their pets.
Pros: It has been easy to use and had good feedback from the clients using the system. Makes bookings a lot quicker than our previous system.
Cons: We find the kennel view a bit hard to read when checking availability and/or when you are assigning kennels manually.

the folks at ProPet are very responsive with questions and spend quality time helping get you up and running. i had a few issues initially and they listened to what i needed and worked hard to resolve my concerns. although the software is still in Beta test, it is quite functional and we are happy with the overall functionality.
Pros: Saves time booking over the phone. the process can be simple and quick once you get the hang of it
Cons: the calendar view is hard to read. needs to be simplified (i.e. just list dogs name & time of appointment).

Pros: The Kennel view and shit records upload are most useful to us.
Cons: Unable to change language to Japanese. Amounts cannot be changed from dollars to yen.

Cons: I would love for there to be a customer support option for over the phone. Waiting till the next day if i have a question is to late.
