Overall, our experience with Loadbalancer over the past year has been excellent. Support has been consistently responsive and proactive, especially when assisting with special configurations that required additional expertise.
Pros: The Loadbalancer team provides excellent support and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we have the information needed to keep our systems running smoothly.
Cons: I’m not aware of any notable cons when working with the Loadbalancer support team. The systems operate as designed and meet our expectations.

Overall experience was great. Submitted a ticket after hours and with minutes I was in a session to resolve the issue.
Pros: Professional. Working great and support is easy.
Cons: Nothing. So far so good

Overall experience is, to put it mildly, excellent! Probably the best value for money I saw in my 20 years in IT.

Pros: Ease of use and configuration, plenty of options, performance, stability - in short: everything. I rarely come across such a well put-together system.
Cons: There is not much to dislike, it just works and it works flawlessly. It's secure, fast and easy to use even for a beginner.

Great company to deal with. Solid product with plenty of features. Doesn't need constant tinkering or maintenance once up and running (except for patching). Pricing is good for top tier product, and offers good value for money.
Pros: The appliance provides a huge amount of configuration options, with a lot of granular control to suit most hosting environments. We use it for balancing between web servers to provide failover capabilities and it does the job without complaining. No performance impact. The support is what really sets Loadbalancer.org aside from similar products. Very responsive and knowledgeable engineers, no need to deal with 1st line gatekeepers. Every time I've dealt with support, I've only been met with friendly, approachble people who know their stuff.
Cons: It can be a steep learning curve for anyone new to this. If you've come with existing experience with HAProxy or other Apache-based reverse-proxy platforms, you may find it easier to get started. However, the onboarding process and support has been really helpful.

Very positive, easy to use, prompt results to support calls. I've raised tickets for major outages and small "how do I?" questions and got good responses.
Pros: Easy to use, liked the menu groupings, very nice GUI. Current state of services is clear to see. Good documentation.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind, it really just works, there are no real "gotchas" or tricky bits on the configuration. It does pay to read the documents

Our overall experience has been positive. The solution delivers consistent performance, strong failover capabilities, and integrates well with our existing infrastructure.
Pros: Load Balancer Enterprise ADC offers stable and reliable performance with strong high availability and failover capabilities. It efficiently distributes traffic, integrates well with existing infrastructure, and has proven dependable in production environments over time.
Cons: The initial setup and configuration can be complex and may require experienced administrators. Some advanced features have a learning curve, and more detailed documentation would be helpful for certain enterprise use cases.

We have been extremely happy with the product the entire time, our questions and concerns are all solved in a timely manner and support is prompt, friendly and knowledgeable.
Pros: It was not difficult to set up and get running, and the documentation was extensive. The support team has been excellent. There are extensive sets of options to configure the load balancer.
Cons: The worst thing I could say is that it feels like the device is geared towards developers and requires a high level of technical knowledge.

Been using loadbalancer.org for years and have had an absolutely wonderful experience. Initial configuration was straight forward. And over the years as I've needed more complex configurations I've either found them in the documentation, or the support team has been really good for both helping me identify options, as well as troubleshoot different behaviors. Can't say enough good things about the support I've received.
Pros: Simple setup Flexible load balancing Layer 4 UDP Direct Response Layer 4 Excellent Support SSL Offloading Simple Remote GUI to manage things
Cons: Linux Kernel doesn't support latest virtual machine versions. But that isn't negatively affecting the performance or anything.
Brandon Y. · VP Information Systems · Mechanical or Industrial Engineering · November 13, 2025
Pros: It is value for money and the GUI is easy to navigate. The GUI is very easy to learn and documentation is comprehensible.
Cons: Some aspects rely on the underlying OS to function. You still need basic linux knowledge to work on some features.
Nikos N. · Senior Network Engineer · Philanthropy · October 23, 2025
I would just reiterate my satisfaction with the support and product. We've been using this service for years as a result of the good support and product line aligning well with our needs.
Pros: I very much appreciate the quick response time, attention to my explanation, and the willingness to go above and beyond to help solve the problems we were facing. The flexibility with how we are deploying and configuring is a huge factor as well.
Cons: I didn't have any complaints. So far everything has been straight forward. The product works, the support is great, and the flexibility is there.
Rod W. · Senior SRE · Computer Software · October 17, 2025
Overall i am very happy with the performance and the solution LoadBalancer Enterprise ADC is delivering.
Pros: Although the solution is very powerful and flexible, configuring your solution is very easy. It just works.
Cons: If i need to think about a feature i like the least, maybe sounds boring but if the box does something funny, support will always help you out
Marco K. · Network Engineer · Hospital & Health Care · September 26, 2025
Very positive and highly recommended - As a generalist, I need to be able to quickly adopt new technology without a steep learning curve.
Pros: Easy to adopt in a small IT shop, does what it's supposed to do, easily updated and support is smart, friendly and available. No downtime or incidents in my three years of use.
Cons: I struggled to make use of the online features (update and backup), and ultimately decided I didn't need them.
Joe S. · Vice President · Market Research · September 2, 2025
Great support and good product. Support teams have always been very thorough and detailed. Features always growing as well.
Pros: Easy to use and flexible. Feature rich and great support. Much more cost effective than hardware load balancers
Cons: Occasional bugs but get resolved relatively quickly. GUI is a little dated but still functional so not really a major issue.
Chris D. · Network Admin · Non-Profit Organization Management · August 19, 2025
Overall I have no complaints, their product is stable and their support team is very good to work with, those are the 2 best qualities that I feel are critical.
Pros: The product has been stable and upgrades have gone without issues. I really appreciate the live chat with support, and whether its chat, or ticket, their support team is knowledgeable, and helpful.
Cons: There is a drain feature for a vip, which works, I think it could work a little faster. Usually when you are draining a vip, its due to some maintenance, so speed on moving connections off of one server would be helpful, but it does work.

We've had a positive experience with Load Balancer Enterprise ADC, which has served as the backbone of our production infrastructure for several years. The product has consistently demonstrated reliability, performance, and scalability, enabling us to maintain smooth operations with minimal disruption.
Pros: Their support team is outstanding. Few vendors we’ve worked with offer the same level of responsiveness, technical expertise, and commitment to resolving issues. In an industry where many products offer similar core functionality, it’s the quality of support that truly sets Load Balancer Enterprise ADC apart. Whether facing a complex configuration question or troubleshooting a critical issue, their support staff consistently delivers timely, knowledgeable assistance that makes a significant difference in our operational confidence.
Cons: Over the past few years, we’ve encountered a handful of bugs across different versions that led to brief outages in our production environment. While these incidents were disruptive, they were not frequent and were typically resolved quickly. Fortunately, the vendor’s support team was responsive and effective, helping us identify and implement fixes in a timely manner. Still, more rigorous regression testing prior to new releases would improve confidence in long-term stability.

Great. Support has been fantastic, and the solution and support were priced well. Great sales experience due to not having to go through a channel partner. Learning how to use the ADC and finding new capabilities has also been enjoyable.
Pros: Functionality. This is a flexible solution that can accommodate complex configurations. The ADC provides a nice web interface to manage the open source tools that are under the hood.
Cons: Observability. I wish there were built-in WAF dashboards similar to what you see in tools like Reblaze. The data is there, it is just difficult to satisfy an auditor that the WAF is doing its job without pretty graphs that show detected/blocked traffic. We integrated with Wazuh to achieve that, but it would be nice if this was native or in the portal.
Mark N. · Director of Information Security · Financial Services · July 16, 2025
From initial contact, through purchase and installation, and dealing with the initial configuration, the experience has been very straight forward. This continues through any support requirements. All the staff have been very helpful, and always provide prompt responses, and rapid resolution to queries.
Pros: Loadbalancer products provide an easy to configure user interface, and system monitoring. From the initial configuration, to applying the licences and configuring loadbalances, it is all intuitive and quick to complete. Raising support tickets is easy, and receive rapid responses and resolution. The staff are always eager to assist and provide detailed guides to overcome any issues
Cons: So far, the experience with the appliances has all been positive, resulting in the purchase of a second pair of appliances, so nothing to not like.
Phil S. · Senior Network Engineer · Education Management · July 11, 2025
I've been using the products for a few years now and I've never had a negative experience with them.
Pros: Rock solid product and the support team are amazing. No other vendor I deal with responds as quickly.
Cons: The sheer breadth of functionality can make the learning curve pretty steep. They have detailed setup guides for a lot of platforms, it's worth seeing if there's one that matches your use case as it helps you get it right first time.
Chris N. · Senior Cloud Services Infrastructure Engineer · Telecommunications · June 23, 2025
The product works well, is straight forward to configure and the sales team are not pushy at selling their product (a rarity these days). Would recommend to other organisations wanting a load balancing platform.
Pros: Ease of configuration, detailed support documents, friendly and helpful support and a great price point.
Cons: Nothing to list at this time and the product does everything we have asked of it where other products have failed.
Matt D. · Infrastructure Solutions Architect · Government Administration · June 19, 2025
A robust and trustworthy product that users can count on for consistent performance and minimal downtime.
Pros: The system is designed to be user-friendly and straightforward to configure, even for those with limited technical experience. It features a well-designed, intuitive web-based user interface (WebUI) that allows for efficient navigation and management of settings. Upgrading to newer versions is a seamless process, requiring minimal downtime and ensuring compatibility with existing configurations.
Cons: The Web-based user interface (WebUI) does not currently provide an option to configure or adjust the time interval between individual monitoring checks, requiring manual modification through backend settings or configuration files instead.

Makes daily life much easier with the appliance
Pros: Ease of use and great customer service!!
Cons: None at this time. All seems to function as designed
Mark S. · Systems engineer · Information Technology and Services · May 12, 2025
Very favourable indeed and I would reccomend loadbalancer.org without hesitation.
Pros: Totally reliable and support that is absolutely outstanding
Cons: Interface feels a little dated and SSL certificate managment could be better.
Trevor R. · MD · Health, Wellness and Fitness · March 10, 2025
Great! we started small with one balancer, but as this little gem got more important for us we bought another one so we now have even greater uptime. We us our loadbalancer HA sollution for our hospital and it has to be 24/7 up! As far we have not be dissapointed!
Pros: Easy to setup, great manuals, good support that really know were they are talking about. And the costs are also acceptable.
Cons: I cant think of anything... So far this solution has never let us down!
Robèrt B. · Teamlead System Engineer · Health, Wellness and Fitness · February 24, 2025
My overall experience has been positive, I'm impressed with the product as a replacement for Netscaler load balancers. It costs much less, the support is much better, and it has done it's job almost perfectly.
Pros: I like it's simplicity and the support. I worked with NetScaler for a good majority of my career and switching for loadbalancer.org has been the best decision for my organization. The support is always fast and good.
Cons: I honestly can't think of a cons at the moment; maybe just improve abilities to do more with ACL rules, like for instance create the ability to block by source domain; rather than just IP.
Eder P. · Sr. Systems Engineer · Government Administration · February 14, 2025
Brilliant, great support as always, could maybe do with setting up some sessions between Smoothwall and Loadbalancer.org in the future
Pros: Quick and simple UI. Configuring HA is simple.
Cons: N/A -- I have to create some random sentence to submit this ...
