Amazon CloudWatch

Pros: Great and reliable tool that integrate with other AWS services. Been using it daily to monitor user’s behaviour and also to look after possible bugs. The ease of use is great with loads of filters features that allow me do my job quickly and efficiently.

Cons: Sometimes the logs can take a while to load. Also I don’t think we would need to hit “load more to see older or newer events.

Pros: Good functionality. Very easy to use. Love the design and simplicity. Make my life easier. I also like how simple the app design is as well.

Cons: I wish the app worked faster sometimes as it sometimes lags. Everything else is good. I don’t have any issues.

Pros: Most useful and great feature for our use-case is Logs and Metrics. We been using those features since we deployed lambda/ECS/RDS. It is cost-effective and good integration with all other aws services.

Cons: especially for log search, its almost useless. There is a function, "Search all log streams" in Log events and when I type some strings in search bar, it always show nothing in results even though logs has that strings. Also, it takes forever to search some strings in log events

Pros: you can see the real-time utilization of the resources and visualize the charts which help you to identify the problems in early stage. You can setup the alarms based on your required criteria.

Cons: The CloudWatch dashboard is a little complex for beginners. You should have a basic knowledge of AWS to use CloudWatch services. You always need expert's help to understand the cost.

Pros: The way Amazon CloudWatch lets the user set alarms and automated actions is a wonderfully useful feature.

Cons: While the cost is a major downside to Amazon CloudWatch, the biggest con in my opinion is the complexity when trying to manage larger deployments.

Pros: Amazon CloudWatch is very detailed and gives good information. I will strongly recommend this product to a friend.

Cons: The least thing that I might didn't like about the product is speaking to a live person to help with a problem you might have.

Pros: I loved how user friendly it was. The overall set up was easy to learn. It was easy to access the information i nedded in a pinch

Cons: Trying to change personal settings on the app. I don't usually catch on to new things as quickly as I'd like to so it was harder for me.

It made it really easy to set up custom metrics, dashboards, and alarms without needing extra tools. The real-time monitoring and the ability to dive into logs when something goes wrong were super helpful for troubleshooting and keeping everything running smoothly.

Cons: The pricing can be a bit confusing, especially when dealing with high-volume logs or custom metrics. Also, the UI feels a bit clunky at times—it works, but navigating between logs, metrics, and alarms isn’t as smooth as it could be.

Pros: Amazon CloudWatch provides detailed metrics and real-time data that assist in optimizing cloud utilization and monitoring apps effectively. It offers robust integration with AWS services, enabling automation through alarms and metrics and facilitating resource scaling and task automation. CloudWatch simplifies logging by collecting logs from various sources like Lambda and providing a single dashboard for comprehensive monitoring and analysis. Its reliability and ease of setup make it a preferred choice for both cloud and on-premises resources, with technical support rated highly by users. The service helps in cost savings as an inbuilt solution for AWS, offering essential monitoring features without requiring additional setup or maintenance.

Cons: Amazon CloudWatch lacks features such as real-time data stream monitoring and application performance monitoring, requiring third-party tools for comprehensive monitoring. The search functionality is limited, lacking advanced search capabilities and fuzzy matching, which hampers efficient issue tracking and troubleshooting. Log streaming in Amazon CloudWatch is slow, often taking up to 24 hours, and requires an external setup with Kibana or Splunk for faster performance. Alerts and alerting mechanisms in Amazon CloudWatch need to be more flexible, as current configurations are limited and not user-friendly. Amazon CloudWatch's pricing, particularly for custom metrics, is considered high and lacks a straightforward approach to pricing improvements.

Pros: Amazon CloudWatch has been a great tool for the business. It allows us to track metrics and log information so we can keep track and improve our performance.

Cons: There have been no cons about using the Amazon CloudWatch. It has been very resourceful and provides great metrics.

Pros: I like the most it's features. The easiest way of navigation icon was easy to use. It offers more activities.

Cons: When it's features corrupted. Very in demand pop ups. Unwanted displays, and non corrected words that not easy.

Pros: They are so reliable, the best! I love the fact that I can get everything I need in a snap of fingers! That is absolutely awesome!

Cons: No conts! Honestly there are none, cause, Amazon is the platform I use daily, I do all my stuff in there!

Pros: I like that it gives me real-time visibility into AWS resources and integrates with SNS, Lambda, and Functions remediation.

Cons: Console UI is uneasy especially when i started also the pricing was weird when i didn't fully understand the features even till now

Pros: I love the Cloud watch it because it tracks my data very well and allows me to make the right decisions about my software

Cons: I do not like the interface as it does not have some features that i would look for in this particular program

Pros: Mostly as a Application performance monitoring used RUM ( real user monitoring ) that is having deep insights and log support is bonus . we can create dashboards to looks logs and metrics in real time.

Cons: Cloud watch alarms will provide notification , price we need to monitor regularly , some time i felt hybrid environment is a challenge here

Pros: The user-friendly platform and how easy it is to find the features. Also, it has a great presentation.

Cons: Can be a little slow sometimes. I remember it took a moment for the home to load. But, it is hardly an issue. I am aware that other factors may cause that like the many apps I have on my device.

Pros: I did like Amazon cloudwatch because it has manifold uses within the Amazon Web Services. It is used to collect and analyze various data points for monitoring improved resource management.

Cons: Cloudwatch can automate actions ie sending notifications Receiving unauthorised access to some messages

Pros: i liked most its integration with AWS Services, Real-Time Monitoring and alerts, its Custom dashboard, and automobile capabilities and data retention.

Cons: i didn't like its high price, complex user interface, and slow streaming capabilities usability issues.

Pros: Too expensive too dear takes too long to get your money on a refund takes it just too long it's a bit frustration..

Cons: You can create custom dashboards to visualize the metrics that are most important to you... The sheer number of Features and options can be overwhelming for new Users.

Pros: I like this most because, using this it can be easy to spot errors and actions had been taken in the app and its time

Cons: It is in the format that have time and description which is not that beginners can understand. To read logs, person require an experience first.

Pros: I love how easy it is to use and store everything needed. It keeps everything is one place for me and organized

Cons: The complex interface and and the unpredictable pricing really makes this hard so expect a consistent monthly cost
