Overall, our experience with RedZone has been very positive. From the beginning, our coach, [sensitive content hidden] provided us with the tools and guidance needed to succeed. That along with the wealth of knowledge from the RedZone University has created a more efficient and transparent work environment.
Pros: What I appreciate most is the real-time data, especially how clearly it shows how each line is running at any given moment. That level of transparency makes it much easier to stay on top of performance and quickly spot issues. Tracking downtime, including exactly how long a line is down and the reason behind it is incredibly valuable for identifying patterns and what needs to be focused on for improvement. Another major strength is the ease of communication, particularly between shifts. There is less guesswork and fewer gaps when one team hands off to another, creating a more connected and informed environment where teams can work more efficiently.
Cons: There is really nothing not to like about redzone. The system provides you with everything you need to create a more efficient work environment.

Overall, our experience with Redzone has been incredibly positive. A huge part of our success was our trainer, [sensitive content hidden] . He did a wonderful job training our team and was always available to answer the specific questions we needed to succeed. Because of that solid foundation, we are finding new and more efficient ways to use the software every single day.

Cons: While versatile and advanced, the software is not a "one size fits all" solution. It doesn't necessarily fit every type of manufacturing style. However, Redzone continues to upgrade and bring new tools to the platform.

Redzone has been a huge benefit to our organization. It has enabled us to get better data during and after our runs and make quicker, more informed decisions. We have gained tighter control over production quality, improved our communication between departments and across all shifts, and seen Operators develop into Supervisors and beyond, all stemming from the use of Redzone.
Pros: We have seen improved communication between all departments and at all levels of our organization. Our Redzone coach was invaluable during the initial Productivity module rollout and as we added the Quality and Reliability Modules. Throughout our time with Redzone he has been a great resource any time we need help configuring a data sheet, training operators on the basics of how to use Redzone, walking our middle and upper management team through how to look at the data we are getting from Redzone and make informed decisions, and many other situations. We have eliminated forests of paperwork from our process and made many of our Quality and Operator checks and processes much more efficient.
Cons: The chat features are fine for Operator level employees but almost all other employees prefer to use Teams. Creating new centerlines and data sheets can be a bit of a slog at times.

Very positive in every aspect. While initial roll out can be complicated, Kepware and RedZone are consistently working in our facility.
Pros: The RedZone community is helpful, engaging, and constantly bettering itself. Not only do they connect customers for great advice, but their team is always engaged in communicating initiatives.
Cons: I have nothing to complain about. Our implementation went well and I am always able to get online help/coaching when needed.

My overall experience with Redzone has been Great! It increases our production value process. The Platform is versatile to our needs and has improved our production effectiveness and reporting. The representatives are very knowledgeable, teach well, and have a presence to respond quickly when not on site. I was impressed with their customer service.
Pros: What I enjoyed most was that Redzone is very user friendly and can be used for advanced analytics, team collaboration, and report management. This is very beneficial in new employees, learning their position, all the way to senior leaders looking for trends.
Cons: What I liked least about Redzone was not having a detailed lesson plan to be trained on. The representatives were great and know the platform, inside and out, but the training was all hands on and per user. I would have liked a classroom setting first and then hands on.

With Redzone, we can easily access historical data, which allows us to track and review the performance of each production batch and every specific SKU. This means I can make the right adjustments when producing certain products, especially when additional manpower is needed. Redzone is also a great help because it lets us communicate within our work environment, making it simple to share pictures and videos among team members.
Pros: Before we had Redzone, we could only track OEE every 24 hours, which meant we couldn't monitor it on a shift-by-shift basis. Now, with Redzone, we are able to view our OEE for each shift. This allows us to keep a closer eye on machine downtime, and our team members can access live data. As a result, they are able to respond to the scores in real time, make necessary adjustments, and work towards improving line efficiency.
Cons: It's important that operators enter accurate data, because if incorrect information is provided, the results will also be unreliable. Additionally, we've noticed that huddles occur a bit too often in the mornings, especially since we already have daily meetings along with our regular huddles.
FAIZUL B. · SENIOR SHIFT MILLER · Food Production · December 15, 2025
The Kaizen functions make it easy to collect ideas from all team members. From these ideas, the team can develop actions, and we are able to track all our continuous improvement projects effectively.
Pros: I can now monitor the production run at any time without needing to call ground staff. The system offers clear metrics and makes it easy for everyone to understand OEE. Now, the team knows what changes they can make to immediately impact the line's OEE. Frontline operators are able to take pictures and highlight any issues, and they can raise actions that are highly visible to everyone. This way, we all stay informed about what is being done to resolve problems.
Cons: the huddles and routines can seen a disruptive when you are very busy running around but yet its a great medium to exchange information
vina C. · SENIOR PRODUCTION ENGINEER · Food Production · December 10, 2025
The management team can now instantly view productivity and compliance results, which is a significant improvement compared to the past when many administrative tasks required much more effort and produced less accurate data.
Pros: Data capture is now automated, allowing us to view trends instantly. Compliance has also improved, making it much easier to track documents and ensure that the necessary checks are completed at the appropriate times. We no longer have to sift through stacks of paper to review and sign off on documents, as everything is now accessible through an iPad.
Cons: We are still having difficulty configuring triggers so that the correct check automatically appears at the appropriate time. Additionally, during the sign-off process, we can only void checks; we are not able to delete or cancel any records.
NOOR FASHADYLA B. · ASSISTANT MANAGER, QUALITY ASSURANCE · Food & Beverages · December 10, 2025
Roberto F. · Produktionsleiter · Food Production · December 3, 2025
We implemented Redzone over this past year at Plant 2 and are now moving forward with adding the product over at our Plant 1.
Pros: Support for setup and managing was great. Product is paying for itself by identifying our trouble shooting areas for our heavier lines of product.
Cons: Initial cost is high due to tablets and tv's needed to show the live activity. Plus, the sensors needed at each point of the line.
Liz H. · Senior Accountant · Food Production · August 6, 2025
I have spent a lot of time with Redzone and learning it and making checks for it, and I have spent so much time because I believe that Redzone is capable of enhancing our business. [sensitive content hidden] have been great helps with expanding our knowledge and providing feedback on how we can utilize Redzone even past where we thought possible.
Pros: Redzone is extremely helpful with keeping all of our checks organized and easy to access, while also providing more certainty and reliability to what our checks are looking for. Redzone allows me more time to work on other tasks while still being able to stay informed of what is happening in real time.
Cons: There are some interface or mechanical problems for checks that Redzone does not have that this miss gets felt. I wish that there could be a way to unselect options in an option list when not needed, plus it's hard to believe that Redzone doesn't have a way to include section titles in the reports that it makes.
Maxwell L. · Quality Supervisor · Food Production · July 24, 2025
Redzone has provided accountability, communication, and engagment across all levels of our organization and our operational efficiencies show that this has positively improved our business. Also-I love [sensitive content hidden]. She's the bomb.com
Pros: Communication for people that normally aren't heard on the floor, or their voice is too quiet-they can be seen and heard. It provides accountability for all to see.
Cons: You can't copy production checks over to quality checks and vice versa-its a pain to rebuild them when you have the wrong designation.
Rachel L. · Director of Technical Services · Food Production · July 23, 2025
Happy to digitalize all the QC checks and go paperless. Initial set up efforts were huge but Coach like [sensitive content hidden] makes it easy and rewarding.
Pros: Platform for teams to connect. Ability to to retrieve data in no time. Improved and faster communication to address non conformance.
Cons: Too much integration of Compliance module with production module is causing QC check times to be dictated by production crew. No redone admin app availability makes it very inconvenient to achieve what we want to achieve
Sonya Y. · Director of QA and R and D · Food Production · June 20, 2025
Overall experience has been great. Support is always there from our initial coach, [sensitive content hidden] and our sustainment coach, [sensitive content hidden]. [sensitive content hidden] did a good job providing the base framework to get us started as [sensitive content hidden] would come in and provide the extra push for the obsession and provide insight on our way of doing things the Redzone way. Launching items were always limited on time and resources sometimes but having the extra push did help us.
Pros: The ability to provide insight to from the frontline and to also provide communication back to the front line from anyone in an organization
Cons: The transparency of what the software and tools require from personnel resource and what they need to do to truly make Redzone work effectively. We found out more as we learned about module implementation and had to adapt vs attempting to be prepared.
Tanner A. · Process Improvement Leader · Food & Beverages · June 10, 2025
Pros: The ability to track performance and issues in real time, the platform for employees to engage across departments, and the ability to have a log of recent challenges and adjustments on machines or processes.
Cons: There is a distinct learning curve to navigation and where to put the information. While in the end, we were very happy with building it to suit our needs, the upfront demands for setup and rollout exceeded expectations.
Chris E. · VP of Operations · Food Production · June 6, 2025
Tremendous experience. Glad we have had the opportunity to work with [sensitive content hidden] and team throughout the onboarding.
Pros: The workforce engagement, seeing our front line team come with solutions and ensuring compliance to our standard operating procedures.
Cons: Tableau interfaces haven't been as user friendly as I would have expected. Redzone analytics is also not very customizable.
Frank M. · Plant Controller · Consumer Goods · June 6, 2025
Highly recommend. It has become a great tool for our entire plant. Driving improvement on performance and communication.
Pros: Ease of use, great coach! [sensitive content hidden] has been great to work with and made our rollout so easy. We ramped up very quickly with the program with his guided help.
Cons: Not a whole lot to add here. Being Apple based is tough from a system communication in house. Data reporting is also harder than I would like.
Derek S. · Plant manager · Food Production · May 23, 2025
This experience has been way above expectations. We have had [sensitive content hidden] on site rolling out all 3 Redzone modules, and has been by our side every step of the way. Available for any questions when he is not on site, and VERY good at working the floor level employees.
Pros: I love the engagement on the floor, and the passion that has developed from the operators with their performance.
Cons: I have truly enjoyed everything about Redzone so far. The experience of rolling out Redzone, the easy use, and the data that comes out is phenomenal.
Preston B. · Assistant plant manager · Consumer Goods · May 23, 2025
Fantastic - the coaches made noticeable differences to our company performance and culture and the system is our backbone in production
Pros: Data accessibility, frontline team focus and empowerment while delivering value to bottom line.
Cons: Sensor set-up and maintenance can be tough, would love if Redzone could help more with sensor set-up and reliability or have a recommended hardware package.
Brandon S. · VP, Operations · Food Production · April 28, 2025
We’ve had an amazing coach guiding us through the process. [sensitive content hidden] , our on-site coach, managed to motivate and involve all employees; from production line workers to administrative teams ensuring an efficient implementation of Redzone. She was very understanding and actively listened to everyone’s feedback in order to adjust the app’s settings accordingly.
Pros: Once you dig into it, the Redzone app is very intuitive and easy to use. We can clearly see the benefits of using Redzone to accurately measure our production performance and to gather all information in one app, which also allows us to record quality control checks and follow-ups.
Cons: Redzone is only compatible with iOS devices. Depending on the product information and type you need to integrate into the Redzone app, it can be quite time-consuming.
Charlène V. · Quality manager · Food & Beverages · April 25, 2025
[sensitive content hidden] was the best coach to date. Ive had good ones before, but [sensitive content hidden] made the material more relatable to my skill level.
Pros: All the new features in reliability and web admin. They look like they will make ease of use far greater.
Cons: Analytics isnt customizable enough. I need to be able to slice and dice a lot more. Tablau is a pain to use.
Michael T. · Director of Engineering and Technical Services · Food & Beverages · April 24, 2025
It's been a great deployment and I look forward to our continued success. I don't know how we were living life before Redzone! It has truly been a game changer!
Pros: Redzone has been a game changer for Royal Paper. We are now able to see our data in real time. We have a multicultural workforce and Redzone has helped with communicating, despite our language barriers. Coach [sensitive content hidden] was amazing to work with. She was so patient with myself and the teams, using different training methods to ensure we all understood how to best utilize the application. She made learning fun for all of us!
Cons: I wish [sensitive content hidden] could stay here with us longer! The only con I currently have is the knowledge I have not gained yet. I know will come with more experience using the app and like Coach [sensitive content hidden] always says "practicing the obsession."
Maria G. · Operations Manager · Machinery · April 17, 2025
I am a huge RedZone fan! I have the obsession! We can now see our plant floor at anytime of day, from any location. We can interact with the Operators. We can communicate as a team & create actions to drive ROI.
Pros: The implementation process was like a crash course in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. I have become better as a professional because of the tools RedZone has brought to our organization.
Cons: I'd like to have more time to focus on RedZone. I wish it was a larger part of my day, as I learn so much about our organization when I spend time in Redzone or Tableau evaluating data.
Liz T. · Project Manager of C.I. · Food Production · April 15, 2025
Pros: Great tool. Coach [sensitive content hidden] is amazing, really engaged and ensured topics were understood though training, very approachable made it easy for us to ask questions if we didn't understand.
Cons: Redzone web-admin has some bugs to work out. would like a feature to see comments made in chats or forums by date instead of having to endlessly scroll to find a particular day's notes.
