Pros: The stand-out feature to me was the linking of the bill-of-materials to the routing. When I have settled on the BOM suggestions for routing and resource allocation are offered without my having to switch between modules, thus cutting my planning stage time.
Cons: One issue is the system speed slows down when performing big operations such as batch data runs or updating part data. It is not recursive but it becomes quite slow especially during the peak time when many clients are actively using it.
Zeman L. · Project Administrator · Information Technology and Services · April 8, 2025
Pros: The most useful aspect that I consider for me is the visual job planning board. It is employed to track the order status, allocate working centers, and identify bottlenecks prior to their effect on the delivery and it enhances the transparency through the supply chain.
Cons: The costing reports do not include overhead allocations automatically unless specifically set up in the system in a specific way. This has led to a few incomplete profitability assessments till realised which settings were being left out.

Pros: Genius ERP makes it possible to schedule production based on needs of each job effectively. These have enabled me to easily manage peculiar orders without interfering with the normal operation since I can always bend the routes the labor as well as the materials required for an order.
Cons: There are a few issues with the MRP system and issues concerning the demand such as the ineffective resource control related to various vendors and their more flexible lead times. That is why I still manually have to check the delivery estimates in some cases.
Cheick O. · Field Engineer · Utilities · April 8, 2025
Pros: These revealed the interrelation between engineering, inventory and the planning of production. Whenever I modify the routing or parts in the design, those changes reflect in procurement and scheduling, thus reducing the handoffs and increasing order quality.
Cons: The CRM component feels underdeveloped. I can’t track consumer transactions massively or have a view on the comprehensive sales processes, which is rather important if I’m working with lengthy orders for manufacturing custom industrial parts.
Herilma R. · System Support officer · Computer Software · April 8, 2025
Pros: The real-time job costing was one of the most beneficial things I came across while working with it. I am capable examine actual cost compared to estimates on each phase and will ensure that there will be no more slippage on mates on job quotes especially on custom one shots which involve precision.
Cons: I have faced difficulties while creating subgroups of the users where supervisors have the view only partial access to the data but cannot modify it.
Jhonny D. · Senior IT Manager · Construction · April 8, 2025
Pros: I utilize it to schedule jobs across different machines so I get the actual picture on load distribution. It assists me in determining how to prioritize during a busy period due to its effectiveness in organizing information.
Cons: Some systems call for full user log out that affect working hours leading to disruption of production. For this I would rather opt for a background update method or create regular maintenance windows.
Adiel O. · IT Head · Financial Services · April 8, 2025
Pros: I’m able to key in very detailed job quotes based on past orders and the today’s actual material prices and post that quote directly to the job order. This minimizes on cases of misunderstandings and incorrect price, which may arise in a business.
Cons: Work center performance reports are slower to develop and cannot be easily filtered by the date or the type of order. I would like to have an easier way of evaluating performance from the various teams for the purposes of reviews and the likes.
Salahudeen P. · Chief Financial Officer · Logistics and Supply Chain · April 8, 2025
Pros: From the above analysis, it is clear that the approach of Genius ERP in managing engineering documents in production is unique. I upload my design files, and they are quickly and easily accessed throughout the whole job This reduces the number of emails exchanged between the design department and the floor.
Cons: I have come across slow loading of the data whenever more than one person works on the same work order. This leads to such a problem where updates are not seen by everyone at once which may lead to multiple editing or confusion.
Recebe O. · Data Center Operator · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · April 8, 2025
Pros: These management tools used in the BOM are quite effective. I can create even second and third level BOMs for assemblies and subassemblies with great accuracy and directly see who has taken what parts but with the help of Genius ERP I do not have to watch each part taken.
Cons: The control of the invoices to the customers is not very automated, as I was expecting it to be. It happens when I have multiple progress billing stages on one job: it simply takes too much of setting up in the system, and it slows me down a lot in the accounting.
Paata P. · Software Engineer · Construction · April 8, 2025
Pros: Some of my preferences include how the ERP particularly benefits engineering-driven processes. I can create fairly large work orders and subdivide them into operations for different work centers with obtaining a work schedule for each of them.
Cons: There are often suppliers’ lead time deviations within the procurement system and the organization consequently suffers when the system only considers delivery time as a fixed measure. Some dates need me to manually enter them in order to remain correct.
Hassene J. · IT Support Specialist · Real Estate · April 8, 2025
Pros: I am involved with highly technical machinery constructions, and with Genius, I do not have to worry so much about the labor, the parts, and routing time. It aids me in coming up with accurate quotes for the projects that have complicated structures.
Cons: There is strength to be made in the utilization of time keeping concerning shop floor workers. People can submit the same time entries more than once or fail to capture a change between job tasks that leads to inaccurate pay checks.
Eser S. · Computer Engineer · Higher Education · April 8, 2025
Pros: The one aspect that matters most to me is how engineering and production runs concurrently. When a design is complete in CAD format, the BOM and routing can be imported into the system so there is no need to re-enter specifications and save money from not realizing an expensive error.
Cons: One difficulty that is usually encountered is the generation of the report. Creating the reports I require for the upper management are not easily doable and to make a particular report in a particular format usually takes a lot of adjustment.
Waleed G. · Project Manager · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · April 8, 2025
Pros: The integration of the development of engineering designs and the planning of production is best in Genius ERP. I submit my BOMs and routing, and the system de-dupes data entry which greatly improves the link between design and the actual execution of the production plan.
Cons: It is not a real-time tracking method for inventory where direct consumption of raw material takes place across the various jobs. There have been several occasions whereby materials have been displayed as on stock and this distorted the procurement planning.
Margaux G. · Operations Director · Hospital & Health Care · April 8, 2025
Pros: Some of the most interesting features I think, are associated with quoting and estimating utilized by Genius ERP. I run an engineer-to-order business and the practical real-time inventory and jobs history that generate estimates from this program is beneficial.
Cons: There are also some problems in the scheduling module that I faced. The lead times of a number of custom orders being close often causes the system to misallocate machine or labor availability thus necessitating intervention to correct the over scheduling.

Genius EPR has made easy for us to track all financial performance of our various business without beating around the bush. We have a live view of project costs and customer history. From the accounting aspects this ERP is easy to learn and use.
Pros: Genius ERP is easy to use, User Friendly and best ERP software with lots of features. Its reporting section keeps this different from the similar products list. Although default reports are limited in numbers. Quick customer support is also very good feature using this ERP Module. Easily Integrations makes it more smoother to use.
Cons: There is no such dislike using this software. While using some time French to English translation can annoy you. If you want to customize the reports then you need to learn Power BI.
Pankaj P. · Assistant Manager Finance and Accounting · Accounting · March 29, 2025

Transitioning was a very difficult process for us. Using language and tools we'd been using for over 50 years and trying to sync it up with a general manufacturing software was quite a challenge. We are still making progress and within the first year we started to see financial benefits to the transition. Switching to an ERP is never easy, but Genius was and is with us along the way.
Pros: * User Friendly * Little difficulty to wrap your head around how things work and why they work that way. * Customizable * Quick customer support * Easily visible information * Saw financial benefits within first year
Cons: * Difficult to transition from 50+ years of another way * The French to English translations * Long transition process for our company

Genius is very intuitive and seems to be growing quickly with the wants and demands of their clients. If Genius doesn't have something you want, they likely are already working on it.
Pros: Genius ERP has been a great tool for keeping track of important information and streamlining processes for us. The helpdesk team is super quick to respond to any issues (if any) and the Canteens are great places to ask questions, find solutions, and learn something new.
Cons: I have no cons with Genius. I think the consultation fee could be seen as a con but it's also someone's time to consult with you and time is money.

We are at the early implementation stages. Thus far, we have been pleased with the capabilities of the product and it seems well suited for our small, made-to-order manufacturing business.
Pros: Knowledgeable engineered sales and implementation teams. Friendly and responsive.
Cons: No complaints about Genius thus far! We are t the early stages of our implementation. We are excited for our Go Live date!
Cathy R. · Operations · Machinery · August 23, 2024
wissem a. · Directeur de projet · Business Supplies and Equipment · August 23, 2024
