For a small massage therapy business this software is great for booking and tracking appointments at a great price. If you want lots of bells and whistles like payroll and room occupancy rates, this is not for you.
Pros: MassageBook is easy to use for a multi therapist practice. You can quickly tell what therapist, which room and what service.
Cons: There are a few glitches like when you run a sales report by therapist it shows when the client booked and pre-paid and then shows the client on the day of appointment as "free" but counts it as two sessions.

It has been pretty seamless. On the off occasion that I can't figure out a procedure, I always get prompt, courteous service from the representatives when I call.
Pros: The ease of use and customer service are the most attractive elements. Also the online booking, website integration and the ability to have memberships and sell gc's is also great.
Cons: I can't think of anything I don't like about the software. Everything has worked really well for my small business without being overly complicated.

I used it for years, and appreciated the growth they had and helped with my business. The listened to feedback and made appropriate changes and improvements.
Pros: It as all of the features to run a small massage therapy practice. It is geared towards and developed by massage therapists.
Cons: Massagebook did not have all of the membership options that I wanted for the growth of my business. The fees associated with using Square for payments was high, especially for memberships.

Overall I feel that it is a good value for a professional massage therapist. I needed a service that was an all-in-one package and this is just what i was looking for.
Pros: I like the prepay options and the customer support as well as the mobile app and website. It is perfect for a massage professional on the go. There is a seamless payment processing system that helps me keep track of my business. A great value for the money.
Cons: I've noticed one or two bugs here and there but the support staff is quick and helpful. It is a complex software with a learning curve, but once you get the hang of how it works it gets easier.

Everyone is equally skilled in navigating the software and knowledgeable about business. Security features are excellent.
Pros: MassageBook has always been easy available when I needed help. Everyone is so consistently kind and efficient. They are aware of all we might need and work hard to make using their software easy.
Cons: I have no complaints. They are always making upgrades. Anything that can’t be done, or could be made easier to do - they are a step ahead- already working on a solution

So far- good! I have had to ask for help twice now. I am still in a trial period. I am not very tech savvy, and needed help to trouble shoot
Pros: Customer service is excellent. Responsive and patient. They help me trouble shoot each time my lack of tech knowledge gets in the way. The software platform is fairly easy to use, has loads of options and integrations. I switched from Calendy to utilize Massagebook's marketing, payment platform , and Google optimization.
Cons: Only wish the tipping screen had the option of showing up after the tap. Otherwise nothing so far. They have the business of bodywork pretty well covered

Very good. For a few questions I have had, I have been able to get answers for some from the AI help section (remarkably good in a field of horrible AI help systems out there). For two others, I was able to quickly get in touch with a support staff person, and get my issues resolved right away. The support agents were very friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and effective.
Pros: The interface is clean and well-organized, very simple and intuitive. We were able to integrate quickly into our website and use within the same day. We have already some clients book on their own, and pre-pay even.
Cons: I would like to have an option to select a default view (among Rooms view, Staff view, Day, Week, Month) and would like to be able to enter notes in free sections. I have not double-checked on whether the latter is possible.

I appreciate the way their customer service representatives have helped me set up my account, and then have been there when I need to learn how to do things like get files into a PDF format for insurance companies, etc. They also offer suggestions of how to do marketing that have been very helpful.
Pros: I have been using MassageBook for several years, although I only upgraded to the Pro version about 18 months ago, and the extra services included in the Pro version makes it is well-worth the expense! Plus, the customer service is top-class. Everyone is always friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and I always feel like I'm a valued client. I highly recommend it!
Cons: I've been using MassageBook since it first came out, upgrading to the Pro version as my practice grew. I don't really have anything I don't like about MassageBook.

My overall experience has been really great! Massagebook is great for businesses big or small. Everything is easy to understand and navigate. I lucked out having the same customer service rep 2x, [sensitive content hidden]. Which made things that much easier and she was absolutely wonderful!
Pros: I love how easy it is to navigate the system, everything included in one price, customer support has been fantastic through my transition, and card/payment processing and payments is easy to understand and connect.
Cons: The thing I like least about MassageBook is the lack of importing capabilities. Especially past/future appts and reviews when I was coming from another MassageBook page.

It is seamless and easy to use. There are a lot of options to really make it easy for clients also. The customization options are very professional.
Pros: I’ve been using MassageBook for over a decade and absolutely love it. My clients are always telling me how easy it is to book and rebook. One of the things that is unique with them is the great customer service. I usually resolve issues within a day. They have a great system. Between the automated help and the REAL person help I’m always able to get things figured out.
Cons: The general MassageBook gift certificate system makes you sign up for STRIPE to get paid from those purchases. I use Square for my direct gift certificates and service payments and wish I could use that instead.

Overall, as a new business I would recommend MassageBook to anyone getting started. This is the only booking platform I have used as a new business. It is likely I will continue use with MassageBook!
Pros: For less then $40 a month (with AMTA membership) I have a an app for quick access to the schedule and client information, a customizable website, customizable email blasts, customizable forms for intake and SOAP notes, and ease of scheduling clients. Clients can also schedule via my website and reach out directly to me here with questions or concerns. When it comes time for employees, I can also expand my business and add people to the provider list, detail their access to certain services and customize their schedule with ease. Furthermore, the customer service I experienced was the best of the best.
Cons: Most things are done the best via a laptop or iPad type device. I ran into some difficulties trying to do everything via the phone and with the scheduling app.

I can’t imagine running our business with any other program. In 2020, we opened our studio with just 3 clients, and we purchased MassageBook after seeing an ad as our doors opened. We had no idea that by 2025 our business would expand to a second location and mobile massage for musical artist.
Pros: We love everything from scheduling clients, text reminders, soap notes, individualized financial goal tracker for our contractors/business, and easy to navigate website for all!
Cons: MB goes above to meet all our needs as a business and adding new options that make running a business easier.

I have been with them through the original owners and it has only grown for the better. Customer service and the people who assist are patient, knowledgeable and always willing to help!
Pros: This application has grown and continues to improve and upgrade. It is refreshing to always get a friendly and helpful customer service rep.
Cons: I wish it had a few more bells and whistles but honestly, for the cost it is well worth it! The time difference sometimes gets me also!

I explored it for a few days, and I know that a lot of my fellow Massage Therapist do prefer MassageBook. It's definitely a great program and easy to use. Possibly since MassageBook is dedicated solely to Massage it still does what is needed for booking and managing clients. It just in general was not my first choice.
Pros: The layout is very streamlined. MassageBook has all the necessary features for booking clients and is user friendly,
Cons: For me MassageBook is nice, but still was a close second to PocketSuite. It didn't have quite as many features that I found very useful on PocketSuite.

Very pleasant, quick and easy to navigate and customize. It is going to help tremendously with staying organized.
Pros: The ease and efficiency of setting up your business page and scheduling. It was very easy to customize service descriptions, post photos, etc.
Cons: There isn't anything I disliked about MassageBook. They have a very nice site and it helps your business look even more professional.

I love that not only do I get great customer support, but they are very receptive to feedback. I am excited to see this platform continue to evolve and support my business.
Pros: customer support, features that support my growing business, value & security I am continually finding more features that I love and am learning to utilize.
Cons: I'd love more report features and the ability to edit active promotions and website look. There is also a glitch with adding discounts on the app that drives me crazy and forces me to use the web browser, I hope that gets fixed soon!

Great customer service,and more features than I anticipated. I was excited there were options to send intake forms and receipts. There is a lot of thought put into this.
Pros: Customer service is quick to respond with detailed suggestions. I made some mistakes trying to check out a ticket, but a silution was provided in a timely manner.
Cons: I am not the most tech savvy person, so figuring out how everything worked took me some time. I am learning as I go.

The quality was absolutely fantastic!!! Very well executed regardless of who i talk to on the phone. Thank you for your time and effort in creating a wonderful experience.
Pros: The client friendly useable being able change everything with ease. The best part about it it the step-by-step guide for the client to book the massage and for us to be to help clients if they need it.
Cons: A little confusing sometimes on how to change how many clients we work on. But once you figure out how to use the online version, it’s wonderful!

Love love love cant wait to watch it continue to expand and grow. While things can always improve, this app keeps surprising me in how they stay just ahead of the game. And inget a great learning experience
Pros: I do not know where to begin! I am a 15 year LMT and lets face it, I'm great with my hands, not so much creating advertisements or honestly maintaining contact. MassageBook helps with all of it! My clients appreciate the different ways to book, contact me, and many love the emails i send out quarterly just say hey these are the products we are trying. I love being able to accept credit card payments from my phone amd all my clients love the security and ease of having ways to pay. I am only managing myself and I love the price for only me! I love being able to creat my own intake forms for the different modalities and services i offer and it is super wasy, even for someone not tech savy *raising my hand Also yhe customer service from this app, be it for me or my clients, is amazing. Might take 10 min to fix an issue. Never had to be on chat with Massage Book support any longer than 10 to 15 min!
Cons: As a duel LMT and ESTI, o dont have a great way to SOAP my facials. I would love to be able to make/create my own SOAP notes! The CC processing takes 5 to 6 days from the time of payment to get to my checking account so it is one more thing to track.

I have been with Massagebook for 5 years, i took a break for a while, (3 years) Tried Booker/ Mindbody, they are ridiculously expensive and software is down half the time. To my surprise coming back to Massagebook all my previous client list and soap notes everything was just how i left it 3 yrs prior. Massagebook staff is very user friendly most helpful with any task. Mainly it's so easy to use you don't need a whole lot of help with navigating the software. I would definitely recommend Massagebook!
Pros: They have outstanding customer support, if it's not resolved via chat, it's quickly and friendly resolved via live call. Best part, I haven't really had many issues with Massagebook. My clients love being able to book and pay for their appointments online, saves me time too!
Cons: It would have to be payment system. It has got better but still a lot more than expected the tap to pay features don't work and i have to run the card manually which cost me more money. It is very easy to use for me and my therapists.

Pros: I love every aspect of the Massage Book Software. I am so very happy with the entire program, and it meets all my massage therapy needs.
Cons: Nothing ... The program is absolutely wonderful in every way and a true joy to have for all your massage therapy .

Great! Most staff find it easy to use. Some clients have trouble booking online the first time but usually get it the second time around
Pros: Live chat help when needed, great follow up when live chat is not available. Ease of use for practitioners.
Cons: I would really prefer a "discount code" option to give clients so they can check out with a discount. The need to create a new promotion link for each discount is cumbersome.

Overall it has been excellent! I was really impressed with the 1 to 1 video call that was including in my plan so I could actually speak to a human face to gace as ask all the newby questions I could.
Pros: The tutorials and excellant prompt & effective customer service. The site once you familiarize yourself with it is pretty easy to navigate.
Cons: I wish there was a discount code feature other than the gift certificates. Sometimes I like to give a discount code to certain groups that book with me. For example, the dojo I train at, I would lkke to have a discount code specifically for enrolled members of that particular dojo to use when booking with my business.
