Uteach

Pros: I love this website because it allows me to create a course in a very short amount of time. I can design it, publish it and start charging for it on the website. I love how easy the website is to use and how the customer support team is always available to help me when I need it. I love being able to create courses quickly without having to invest a lot of time.

Cons: Uteach is a really good app for students to use. I like that it has a great interface and is easy to use. It also comes with a variety of quizzes so students can use it as a practice tool. The only thing I would say is that it really needs a more functional quiz function. Uteach sells itself as being able to host Mathematics Courses but doesn't have the ability to include mathematic equations in answer options or in question.

Pros: Very easy to use. Customer service is very responsive and the company is continuously looking to improve the software. They created a Trello board for users to add suggestions which I was able to add to.

Cons: For the digital products, the short code to the digital product in purchase email adds an ugly URL link to the products . If you have multiple digital products bundled together, it will populate multiple long URLs which look very unappealing/ spammy in an email. I messaged them about this and they are working on improving this ( very responsive customer service team & they really do care about improving their product). Would love to see some more integrations in the future with email marketing platforms such as Activecampaign.

Pros: I love that we can choose to host our video and audio files on their servers or embed them on popular video hosting platforms. The course creation process is really great and the support is amazing.

Cons: So far the only problem I've run into is the web builder. You can change anything you'd like, but the more you change, the higher probability you will have problems with the mobile template. Also, Chrome is the only browser that works well with the editor. Even browsers that are based on Chrome, like Edge and Vivaldi, don't work well. The web builder is drag-drop-click but there are so many parameters that we can change, that it's been time-consuming for me to find where to tweak things. On the other hand, Uteach frequently uploads video tutorials to youtube that are very useful.

Pros: NOTHING, the lack of customization ruins the experience

Cons: I really want to be patient with Uteach because it's a growing platform but there's so much lacking it is extremely frustrating. I can live with a lot of the limitations on the platform, but not being able to customize checkout is the worst! I'm redirecting traffic from my landing page to a checkout page on Uteach where I expect users to pay first, then get account details after. Uteach asks them to create an account first before they pay, which is just bonkers! Can you imagine the drop-off if someone is excited to get a course, clicks on the pay now button and instead of the checkout page, get a page asking them to create an account before they pay for the course? You can't even customize the checkout page! Who does that?

Pros: I love the ease of use and excellent support. The website is fast and responsive. Uteach is my LMS.

Cons: I think it could have a few more things under the hood but I trust they will get there. The devs are motivated.

Pros: I like that I have a learning system that isn't nested on my site. I love that my content is all in one place for clients and members to learn. The pre written email templates are great to walk them through general issues that will come up. The team is front and center with providing the admin/me with assistance as needed.

Cons: The learning curve of setting up the site. I am probably making it harder than it needs to be as I am used to using Elementor. But I am watching the Youtube videos that Uteach has provided and I am sure I will be up and running shortly.

Pros: - Support staff are fast and helpful - Simple to use and fast learning curve - Works and loads fast - Covers all the basics of a site.

Cons: - Don't know how long the'll be around with their lifetime deal model, and trying to charge for each add-on to make up for product development. - Templates are still slim - Website builder, for landing pages - Blog is just for SEO, not searchable educational content.

Pros: I'm glad it has the inegrations that it does. It makes things more accessible, especially with the video meetings.

Cons: I would say it's a work in progress. It's doing what it need to do for me at the moment for the group I'm teaching.

Cons: Support for the Italian language is not present

Pros: We can host our coures and our content there, without needing an external hosting provider. The deployment is easy and the support is very responsive. Most importantly they rollout new updates almost every week.

Cons: Quizzes need some work, also more templates. And plese add subscription based courses so we can charge our users by weekly, monthly or yearly/ custom period.

Pros: It's a great platform that is quickly growing and constantly adding new features. Amazing to see that you have course ratings, reviews, certificates, and quizzes.

Cons: It's still in the development phase, so some features are missing

Pros: The layout and the current features are great!

Cons: It's taking me a long time to design the homepage. It hasn't been easy, and I always work with websites.

Pros: This software gives you the ability to set available and/or sell from the same place, but under different sections, learning products to the client such as: (i) courses, (ii) live lessons, (iii) digital products, (iv) blog articles, (v) quizzes.

Cons: May need some improvements in the front-end templates e.g logos, colors, sizes, etc, such as to look more attractive/clear to the end-user.

Pros: In summary, their platform is easy to use, beautiful and reliable! The price of their service is also fair. The perfect product for us and for those who need a reliable and easy-to-use educational platform.

Cons: We do not use the English language. From there, we had a Hungarian language translation problem, which was solved very quickly for them. What we have found is that they have an excellent customer service team that you can count on. In summary, their platform is easy to use and reliable! The price of their service is also fair. I am very happy that I found Uteach. It was a great choice

Pros: I've been looking for a site for my online courses for me to sell instead of third party sites. Until I found Uteach I hadn't seen anything which I would be able to manage by myself. But Uteach is so easy. I've had no problems uploading and sorting my videos and documents. My courses aren't live yet, but I have no doubt I'll be able to get everything else done.

Cons: I would like to be able to add PDFs to the video lectures as I think that looks neater than 2 separate episodes. But that's a minor problem in comparison to the ease I (as a non techie) can use the site.

Pros: I liked the ease of use, the ability to integrate from other platforms as well as the consistent communication/updates about upgrades. I also like the fact that live lessons can be added to the process.

Cons: So far I am enjoying using the software and cannot say there is something I like "least." I am also sensing that the software is being developed all the time to improve areas that might be of concern.

Pros: The interface is very easy to use, and we were easily able to make a website that included live courses that we could stream/broadcast. It feels like the developers are really going to make sure it is well polished with the UI/Features and seem quite dedicated.

Cons: Possibly more tutorials on live courses with more options there but they are working on developing it more I believe as a work in progress it's quite good.

Pros: The lifetime deal I acquired was a no brainer. The functionalities and opportunities offered for that price were really competitive. Another great thing that Uteach gives and none of their competitors does, is an unlimited number of courses, products and services you can offer in your Uteach.

Cons: I've been struggling a bit with the options to modify and customize the templates. More templates and more customization options would improve a lot the service offered.

Pros: I love all the features that Uteach offers in such a low price. I haven’t seen others offer this much such as weakling products and hosting video.

Cons: It is great overall but more customization would be nice but I’m sure that will come in the future.
