Buddy is a smart CI/CD tool for web developers designed to lower the entry threshold to DevOps. It uses delivery pipelines to build, test and deploy software. The pipelines are created with over 100 ready-to-use actions that can be arranged in any way just like you build a house of bricks.

Pros: Buddy makes deployments a breeze! The UI is beautiful and intuitive, configurations are easy yet comprehensive, and deployments are incredibly fast. Customer support is responsive and helpful, making the overall experience seamless.
Cons: The pricing model being based on the number of users feels limiting, especially for smaller teams or businesses with fluctuating team sizes.

I have used many DevOps platforms in business ranging from small startups to massive global companies and Buddy is my personal favorite. It is simply a nice product to use and you have far more "oh awesome" moments then "$@!?$" moments then with any other tools.
Pros: Buddy is elegant. It has the ability to do complicated things in simple intuitive ways. The combination of being able to hybrid YAML and GUI is a great example. You can use the intuitive GUI to quickly build out your pipelines and then bring it under source control with a couple of clicks. The GUI still works for read only making it easily accessible to less pipeline technical folks while also giving those maintaining the pipeline all the benefits of "as code".
Cons: The dedicated number of workers and price per work is a shame in a cloud world. Would be neat if it was just based on compute hours etc. but maybe with some kind of fair usage policy for concurrency

With lightning-fast builds, seamless integrations, and top-notch customer support, Buddy.Works transforms complex workflows into a smooth, efficient process. Highly recommended for development teams aiming to streamline their deployment practices!
Pros: I like the automation. It offers an easy interface that is easy to understand clearly. The most important thing is their support and they offer free plans too 😊
Cons: So far I didn't have any that could hit me tell any negative words

For me, Buddy should create a specific Plan for the people who wants ONLY the continus deployment functionnality without any complexity, or just decrease the Pro plan price, if it becomes €5 per month I will switch all my projects on it, or maybe €2 per project per month?
Pros: Very intuitive UI/UX and the free account possibility
Cons: The pricing is very very very expensive. Pro plan is about €29 / month, even my VPS does not cost this price 😅

Pros: I like that the interface makes buddy really simple and easy to use as a user. It helps me manage new releases and bug fixes easily. Makes deployment to QA enviroments easy
Cons: There's no dark theme. Kinda long waiting times when there's a queue.

Pros: Facilité d'integration et de mise en place des pipeline de développement
Cons: Pas grand chose, tout est bien détaillé, l'information est facile à trouver et dès que j'ai eu a contacter le support j'ai de suite été pris en charge.

Good tool to use for any project but still need some time to capture the market
Pros: Amount of integrations with different products and simple to use
Cons: The price could be little bit lower for long term users

This is a great choice for continuous integration and continuous delivery for small teams and developers.
Pros: The Buddy interface is comfortable. Pipelines configuration is easy. You can customize pipelines in the UI or in YAML files.
Cons: Occasionally, there are problems with the cache, and I must run the pipeline one more time with cache clearing.

Pros: Buddy made it incredibly easy to deploy our website.
Cons: Some of the frequent UI changes made the site difficult to navigate.

Pros: It is one of the most powerful tools to help push code quickly, and can manage error checking when deploying an application
Cons: Sometimes, just sometimes it works a bit slow
Bui Van T. · Developer · Information Services · February 1, 2024
Pros: - Very easy to use and setup - Lots of configurations and third party integrations - Easy to read documentation
Cons: - Community for Buddy may be smaller compared to other popular CI/CD

Pros: Good UX and it's very easy to use. We've tried various similar tools, but so far, BuddyWorks is the best.
Cons: The only drawback is that for some features, you need to have an advanced version
Sandro S. · FE Developer and PM · Information Technology and Services · December 5, 2023
Pros: Buddy works really well for our organization. The no-config pipelines make setting things up super easy and save us a ton of time. The platform has all the features we need for deployment and testing—it's got everything covered. Plus, it integrates seamlessly with AWS, which is exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a quick and easy deployment suite.
Cons: Sometimes our development processes fail unexpectedly, likely a system layer problem beyond our access. Luckily, these issues tend to fix themselves after a while. The challenge is that when we need help from customer service, they're in a different time zone, making the problem-solving process slower.
Lachlan d. · Lead Developer · Information Technology and Services · December 5, 2023
Pros: Buddy is easy to use and works consistently. I set it and forget it across a wide variety of setups, apps and needs. It has always worked well. It is easy to use along with a wide feature and capability set.
Cons: I dont have any cons. I've used Buddy for years and *if* there is an issue that doesn't seem to be pipeline related or config related, I've been able to reach out to someone in customer service and have a resolution very quickly, along with insight about what happened.
Chris S. · Cofounder · Computer Software · November 30, 2023
Pros: Easy to use, simple, powerful and intuitive UX.
Cons: Documentation could be more in depth in some areas, it is a bit of a learning curve at first.
Adrian P. · Web Developer · Information Technology and Services · November 10, 2023
Tasks were run on auto-pilot and we release of our software product in shorter time than ever before.
Pros: We use Buddy to test and deploy Wordpress applications with minimum effort. We've created a delivery pipelines with few actions and hook up our favorite 3rd-party services for our projects in less than 10 minutes.
Cons: None for now, we will see if something will pop up in near future but I doubt.
Anonymous User · Fullstack Developer · Information Technology and Services · October 16, 2023
Love it. I have used it for years. I tell everyone about it. Encourage everyone to use it.
Pros: The large number of integrations. This is critical. It allows us to use just Buddy to manage everything.
Cons: We can always use more integrations. The more things Buddy adds to their ecosystem. The more products we can consider to improve our workflows.
Louis W. · Web Manager · Architecture & Planning · September 22, 2023
Pros: One of the biggest advantages of Buddy is its ease of use. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to create and manage pipelines, even for users with no prior experience with CI/CD. Buddy also offers a wide range of pre-built actions and integrations, which can save teams a lot of time and effort.
Cons: A disadvantage of Buddy is that some features are only available on paid plans. For example, the ability to trigger pipelines from external sources, such as webhooks, is only available on paid plans.
Purvesh P. · DevOps Engineer · Computer Software · September 15, 2023
Pros: Buddy has been really easy to use and set up for a number of products.
Cons: The Documentation for some features could explain more or contain different versions. Some actions in the documentation don't match up with how it is used on the pipeline.
Aimee R. · Web Developer · Marketing and Advertising · September 11, 2023
Pros: Ease of use, easy integration and the easy pipeline
Cons: Not found anything particularly until now
Annie Xu W. · Machine Learning Team Lead · Farming · August 30, 2023
Buddy has been so smooth and easy to set up and use. It is my go to tool for any new project I'm starting. I've even migrated a few that were running on other platforms for years
Pros: Ease of setup and use is key to any service. Every other service that I have used pales in comparison in this aspect
Cons: Shared variable management can sometimes be tricky, especially when you have multiple pipelines.
