We have enjoyed using it for our environment and find it a genuinely friendly tool to have implemented.
Pros: We use devops for all of our task management for our environment.
Cons: There is nothing that I do not currently like about DevOps.

Pros: One of the things I liked most about Open DevOps was its extensive collection of open-source tools and resources. The platform provided a wide range of DevOps-related solutions, including continuous integration, deployment automation, configuration management, and monitoring. The availability of these tools in one centralized platform made it convenient for developers and operations teams to collaborate and streamline their workflows. Additionally, the active community support and frequent updates ensured access to the latest features and improvements.
Cons: While Open DevOps had many positive aspects, one thing I liked least was the learning curve associated with some of the tools and technologies it offered. As an open-source platform, there were instances where the documentation or support resources for certain tools were limited or less comprehensive. This required additional effort and research to fully understand and implement those tools effectively. It would be beneficial to have more detailed documentation and user-friendly guides to support users, especially those who are new to specific technologies.

The complete development process can be managed with a variety of features and tools, from source code management to deployment and monitoring. Interaction with a variety of external tools and services to increase its flexibility and capabilities. It is a strong and customizable platform that provides a number of tools and services to support DevOps procedures.
Pros: It has a customizable architecture that supports a variety of procedures for development and deployment. The software development lifecycle is automated at various phases, enhancing teamwork between the development and operations teams. It provides a useful and effective technique for developing, delivering, and overseeing cloud-based applications.
Cons: When there are many users using this portal, it could be very slow. For some more complicated tasks, it can be challenging to use. It can be necessary for team members to take pricey training courses and learn new abilities.
Parth K. · Web Developer · Information Technology and Services · March 14, 2023
Pros: The feature of Open DevOps that I enjoyed the most was its versatility. It gave me the freedom to adapt and adjust my infrastructure to meet my needs while enabling me to swiftly design, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications. Because to Open DevOps' open source nature, I had access to and control over the platform's source code, which allowed me to adapt it to my unique requirements. The platform also offers a vast selection of tools and services to facilitate and speed up development and operations. In conclusion, Open DevOps offers a practical and successful method for creating, deploying, and managing cloud-based applications.
Cons: It was a little tough for me to browse and the interface was a little perplexing. The resources and choices I required to handle my projects were hard to come by. I also thought the pricing structure was a little difficult to understand and a bit confusing.

It is easy to use and interact with JIRA. Easy to manage multiple projects
Pros: makes it easy to manage a team and helps each developer to keep track of everything they do and also to communicate with the team.
Cons: Honestly, I like all the features of the software. I love JIRA
Denis A. · realisateur · Online Media · December 20, 2022

Pros: This product is very recommended for project management, it includes a lot of interesting features for who apporaches dev enivornments and sw lifecycle
Cons: sometimes it has some problems to solve with on call schedule
Anonymous User · Senior Developer · Internet · November 16, 2022
Overall I'd say that JIRA has been a key part of the success of almost every IT project for which I have been part during my 12+ years of career. Issue tracking, bug/defect tracking , road map features, notifications, etc. Are all the things you need to successfully conduct your team through the hard process of delivering a well developed product.
Pros: With JIRA you have access to a variety of tools and functions that allow you keep track of your Software Development projects. It is especially designed to work with AGILE so it is only natural that almost all IT software companies are using it.
Cons: Permission management can be quite tricky sometimes.
Carlos David M. · Technical Team Lead · Information Technology and Services · August 29, 2022
Pros: If you're in an Agile team, Jira it's one of the best tools for PMOs for project management and collaboration
Cons: Waterfall development can be a hit or miss, but for iterative development works well for maninging tickets and user stories.
Javier G. · Front-End Developer · Information Technology and Services · July 28, 2022
I loved everything about Jira. It's a one tool every developer knows and one tool everyone should use
Pros: The customization and features it has are awesome. We can do lots of project management things with Jira. Definately one should try for their projects. This is the best among all project management tools
Cons: I really don't like much their UI. It can be improved. Especially in latest version of their UX, the navigation sucks.
Sivajee B. · Software Developer · Information Technology and Services · July 23, 2022
The overall experience with Jira was nice and the best problem that Jira is solving to us, the management of project and tracking the performance of contributor, managing the stages of a software cycle and also letting manager know at what stage my code build is.
Pros: The best feature of Jira is to manage the workflow of project smoothly and the integration part of Jira with other software like Jenkins, slack etc. The integration with other software keep everything at same page, whether the update after code deployment and alarm setter.
Cons: I have used thoroughly but couldn't find as such any improvement, with time it has improved a lot, I guess Jira can focus on the UX and UI part, the part of searching in Jira is complicated, it can be simplified.
Naresh P. · Software Engineer · Consumer Goods · July 23, 2022
Jira is a very popular tool amongst product managers and developers. Thus, a lot of the people in your team might already know how to use the tool and hence you do not need to train the team.
Pros: 1. Works like bug tracking tool 2. Efficient project management tool 3. Easily assign the issue to anyone 4. Easy to search any existing story 5. Drag each of the stories into a single spring. You can prepare sprints in minutes if you have already created stories. All you need to do is assign a timeline to the sprint.
Cons: 1. It is a complicated and heavy tool. Thus, it needs dedicated tech personnel to manage the same. 2. There are cheaper alternatives in the market.
Nirav S. · Manager · Automotive · July 22, 2022
All our users/developers having no bad experience provide us and quickly access of what we need to do.
Pros: This jira web application has a lot of features to manage or agile projects from small teams to big teams from more than 20 people. Great connection with other applications like confluence.
Cons: Sometime it can be very slow when a lot of users using this portal. Or when there is a bug in a new version of jira when we cannot save or update tickets can be very annoying in a production project. Make sure that the update doesn’t brake anything.

Pros: A great number of functionalities. On the basic level is intuitive. Vast possibilities for adaptation and customization. Rather easy to integrate with other apps. A huge number of plugins. Customer service - in terms of personal help to do something
Cons: Some features are limited (e.g. filtering) Customer service - in terms of requests to add new/change existing functionalities. Rather high price

I had a good experience, from my beginnings as a product manager to managing developers. I can better organize my work flow, and make our day to day more agile.
Pros: Jira has made the life of an agile team much easier, managing tasks/spikes/user stories according to the necessary workflow defined by each team. It is adaptable to both scrum and kanban and other agile methodologies.
Cons: I would love to have an interactive tutorial for new members and for the backlog to be visible in kanban board
Luana R. · Product Manager · Information Technology and Services · July 7, 2022
It's adapted to every role in the team (developer, project manager…) and every one can use it in the way they need it the most
Pros: It's intuitive and easy to used. Drag and drop make it easy to update the tasks state, and the global view shows the state of the project and the tasks at a glance.
Cons: It can be complicated to used for some more advanced tasks.
Thibaut C. · Software engineer · Computer Software · July 7, 2022
We used jira for assigning tasks to developers. The project manager writes the backlog and the tickets, then the project manager assigns tickets to developers. When a developer has finished a task according to a ticket, then the developer drags the task to a new column in jira so that the project manager and all coworkers know about the evolution of the project.
Pros: It permits to write backlog for a project, then we can split it to sprints containing tasks. A task can be dragged to a different column state according to its progression, so that the team can have visibility about the task.
Cons: Jira contains many functionalities, so its getting started is difficult, and takes a long time to be familiar with jira.
Frederic A. · Application developer · Information Technology and Services · July 3, 2022
Pros: Quite powerful Super customizable Tons of integrations
Cons: Horrible UI Bad performance Features seemed to be designed to add bureaucracy in the workspace
Anonymous User · Product Manager · Computer Software · June 27, 2022
It's deep and software developers on my team seem to like it but so far it's not that intuitive.
Pros: The task management tracking function. I have received good feedback from my software development team but as a business project management tool, there may be a better option.
Cons: The use of new terms for old processes, i.e. Epic, Story, these are typically known as deliverables and requirements. Why complicate things?
Michael K. · Executive Producer · Events Services · June 23, 2022
We use jira to collaborate with various software developers in order to create new exciting edutech tools for students
Pros: The best feature of this application is bug testing which allows the developers to find out any problems in the application before it is launched for use in the business.
Cons: It is difficult for a non technical person to monitor the activity of the devops team specially during integration of an new software tool.
pawan j. · Subject matter expert · E-Learning · June 23, 2022
Pros: Tracking issues that allow us to tracking bugs between developer and tester.
Cons: It is generally a good app, but it lacks the most basic feature, requiring me to use a laptop instead. The app would function for me if there were a copy issue URL button like the one next to the ticket number on the web version. Due to my habit of sending and referencing tickets across Slack, the lack of the ability to copy the URL to the clipboard makes this app nearly useless for about 90% of my needs.
Omar S. · Deveopler · Computer Software · June 20, 2022
Working on jira is very easy, and makes all the work organized, I like to use it because it keeps track for everything, every ticket and comment and changes.
Pros: When I started using Jira, it was the first time I was in an Agile environment, it was perfect, the best features are the backlog, how to track tickets, and how to manage sprints, also the relations tickets is also important because sometimes tickets are dependent from other tickets which Jira makes it clear and visible.
Cons: Free tier lacks a lot of featuers, and some small teams don't need a big plan
Simon S. · Software Engineer · Computer Software · June 7, 2022
Pros: Implements all features needed for a scrum workflow. I especially like the multiple hierarchies of tickets with subtasks, which e.g. GitLab has not implemented as good.
Cons: You shouldn't use Jira with a very low powered pc, because performance is a bit bad in those cases
Lukas M. · CEO · Information Technology and Services · June 5, 2022
Jira helps to track work not only at a team level, but also at a company level. It helps to show dependencies between task, projects and long term plans. At first sight, the abundance of features might seems daunting, but Jira is a tool definitely worth investing time into as it quickly turns into might weapon in hands of experienced user.
Pros: Jira is an extremely rich management ecosystem with dozens of features, which seems to applicable to almost any company or team.
Cons: Because of the abundance of features, Jira definitely has a steep learning curve. Not only finding or configuring new options might challenging, but even the basic interface requires some time to get used to. Especially for people, who don't have previous experience.
