More good things, than bad, overall a great way to keep track of your hours, especially for works that need to clock in on the road, and you need to have a precise location for the clock ins.
Pros: Great app to keep track of time, it integrates GPS which allows for precise location. It includes some functions to allow to communicate with your team, this is great when you need to coordinate work. It is very easy to use and intuitive, it does take a little setup, but once you have it set, it is very easy to use. It predicts your pay, and offers some options to get an advance on your paycheck.
Cons: sometimes this can freeze and crash, it has happened a couple of times. Customer support might take a while to answer, and is not always as accurate.

It was over priced and hard to get to work correctly. Support staff just had the same answer when there were errors which is required staff to redownload the app if they weren't getting notifications.
Pros: Ease of Scheduling, saved templates, looked clean & made team collaboration easier then what we had.
Cons: Bugs that required staff to redownload the app if they weren't getting notifications. No way to enhance this software to give them links or more information.

Very useful but you have to pay for even the most simple uses, since they don’t include those in the free basic option that they offer.
Pros: It was easy to use and navigate the app. It allowed me to easily schedule my employees and alert them of any changes to their or the whole team’s schedule.i also liked that it includes the employee’s location at the time of clocking in.
Cons: The free basic access does not allow you to do simple things like clock in, which is why I downloaded it in the first place.

Terrible experience, no customer service, when you have a problem they are not interested... they only answer the new sales phone number. The only business they are concerned with is new business
Pros: The dashboard is fairly easy to use and I was able to export to excel, this was helpful to integrate with my current payroll company
Cons: LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF THINGS. First the time clock button is right next to the logout button, so I was flooded with phone calls to log back into the time clock. Next customer service... actually I should say.....What customer service??? The only way you can speak with someone at Homebase is by calling the sales phone number, they want you to use their AI to service all of your needs and this is not always feasible. Finally, I cancelled my service and they still charged my account, again tried to get this fixed but AI did not understand and I did not receive a call back, I had to call the sales phone number to actually find someone who was capable of fixing my problem. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS SOFTWARE, there are lots of other companies that value customer service and are a great value for your money....

Generally I like it fine. I’ve used several apps-‘ especially regarding scheduling, I do wish it worked a little more intuitively - especially on touch devices - overall it works fine.
Pros: Comprehensive functionality - a one stop shop for all info for all staff. Helps especially from management side to have this in one spot.
Cons: Occasional glitches, iOS, macOS compatibility - wish the app functioned better for higher level needs- scheduling etc.

It is a great place for chat and communication. Provides real-time clock-in and clock-out for employees. It is secure for management to make their schedule, and for employees to access it on their mobile devices. It is great for management as it also offers payroll integration. It provides checklist, and task reducing making communication easy.
Pros: Homebase can be accessed from anywhere with just a few clicks. Homebase helps reduce a lot of manual labor. It is definitely value for money as it can be accessed for free. If not, Homebase also has flexible pricing based on the company's needs. It has readily available customer support.
Cons: It is simple to use, so really nothing to like least about Homebase. Considering that the Basics is free, a lot of small businesses can benefit from it. However, if you have more than 10 employees, for example, you can pay for their next cheaper version, and pay a few extra cents to add each extra employee, and benefit more of its features.

Overall I have enjoyed using this software because it is very helpful and very well displayed, and they offer good products.
Pros: I like that you can navigate this software with minimal directions. Everything is very well displayed, you don't get lost.
Cons: The least I like about it are all the notifications you get sent to your email. You have to go to settings and change that.

My overall experience is one that has been great so far , and my employees love the fact that they are able to clock in from their phone
Pros: What is like the most is that I’m able to keep up with my worked hours throughout the week . I also love the feature where once I’m clocked out , I’m able to pull money from that days pay which is extremely helpful
Cons: Nothing . The platform is very self explanatory and user friendly . I created an account and was able to immediately navigate the system .

An excellent experience overall as the software is so user friendly yet offers a lot of advanced features and customization. If you are lucky to have two employers both using Homebase, schedule management along with tracking earnings, team messages, etc. is effortless because you can have multiple teams on the same app that you can toggle between.
Pros: The most beneficial feature of Homebase for me now is the ease of managing multiple schedules if multiple employers are using the app as you can easily toggle back and forth between teams. It also remains incredibly versatile for scheduling, clocking in for shifts, managing hours and adjusting work hours, as well as communicating across the team/management. I also like that you can keep track of hours and anticipated earnings to ensure hours are clocked in accurately and earnings are also computed accurately. The fact that it can be accessed on a mobile device and mobile device can be used to clock-in is extra convenient too.
Cons: Notifications not coming through consistently remains an issue periodically but has significantly reduced compared to before. The only other issue is that the clocking in feature on a mobile device can be a little inconsistent and not always work.

My coworkers and I found it efficient, effective. With the cost of the platform. You get what you pay for.
Pros: I liked how effective the time tracking tool was! I could easily log and view a summary of my hours.
Cons: There were troubles with my staff being able log in and out the system. Homebase did not have an auto clock-out feature.

We use homebase for two different businesses. Overall it is good and easy to use, however they have some back end problems. When logging out of one of my accounts and into another, things get messed up. Sometimes it logs me into the wrong account. Sometimes it logs me into the right account but won't show any data. On the PC I can use incognito mode to log in and it is all good, but the app doesn't work that way, so I have to use the app for just one of my companies. That is a bit of a pain. The pricing is fair, but if the backend issues don't get resolved, I will look for a different solution.
Pros: Homebase is a easy software to learn. It covers the basics of what we need to do to schedule our team and communicate with them.
Cons: There are features that would be helpful but are not included lower tier plans, but don't warrant the change in pricing to go to a higher tier. For example, overtime calculation across sites. Or another example would be attaching documents to team members. These things would help, but the price jump to turn them on is too extreme.

I liked it overall, I feel that the software could have been a bit more advanced with how quickly it updated and registered outgoing and incoming punches. But overall a good value
Pros: It was easy to use and to get set up. I loved that it had a cash advance feature and that it showed how much you owed.
Cons: Sometimes the hours didn’t show until 24 hours later, or if you clocked out it didn’t register so the supervisor had to go back in and manually change it

My overall experience with homebase was positive. The app is very secure. I love being able to clock in and out on my mobile phone once I have reached my work location.
Pros: I love how easy it is to understand homebase. The convenience of viewing your work schedule and viewing your paystub is a positive.
Cons: There was nothing that I did not like about homebase. You can easily check your schedule from any location.

Pros: I love how it helps keep my team connected. Everything is in one place for communication, so no one feels out of the loop.

I have used this system for 6 years now, the easiest I have ever come across. Homebase is great for start up businesses.
Pros: Easy set-up, makes scheduling a breeze with ai enhancement. Ot warnings, payroll that runs itself. Love it.
Cons: The only con I don't like is the price increase for the paid plans. The essentials plan should be 1/2 price because it comes with so little, and doesn't integrate with PayPal pos

We use Homebase daily in a small Veterinary Hospital. With Homebase, we are able to track our hours worked and look at our schedule from our personal phones. We also use it as a communication tool, we have created channels where we can discuss team with one or many people from the team.
Pros: My favorite thing about Homebase has got to be the ease of having it all in one place. I can look at my timecard and my schedule on my day off. I'm always connected to my team wherever I go.
Cons: I like everything so far, I have not encountered any issues with security or any bugs or other issues.

Easy to make schedules, easy to clock in and out of, easy to make adjustments as needed, easy to get help if you need it
Pros: Ease of use. It is very easy to teach new employees how to use this app. All types of phones work with this app the same way.
Cons: Sometimes even if you are right next to the central log in area, an error will state that you are too far away.

Overall, I love Homebase and feel that it has made my life so much easier. The easy access to do payroll from my phone, change the schedule, approve days off, etc.
Pros: The ease of scheduling, time tracking, and being able to budget payroll accordingly. I love that my staff can easily look for someone to trade shifts with, too.
Cons: Sometimes it takes a while for someone to get back to you from customer support regarding your questions/issues.

Pros: Availability of client support service. Value for money. User-friendly. Team collaboration and communication chat feature. Scheduling and time tracking made easy.
Cons: Nothing so far so good! In the future for loyalty clients, suggestion and recommendation would be to be adding a loyalty rewards or discount program.

Overall, it was good. We had a small employee base using it and it got the job done. It was a bit manual since we use a different payroll provider and had to manually input the hours. I'd recommend it for smaller businesses.
Pros: My favorite feature is that everyone could see who was currently clocked in. This made sure no one was contacting others during a time while they were off the clock. Our new timekeeping system through payroll's time and labor does not have this feature.
Cons: It did not have the ability for employees to update their own time cards with a request to an administrator. As the admin, I had to ask for a correction and manually updated versus receiving a request and simply approving.

Our overall experience with Homebase is really good. It let's new employees enter onboarding tasks more easily. The team notes and communication features are av really great touch. The app allows employees to clock in when they are on site and clock out when leaving the site.
Pros: I love the team chat feature. We have used it for employee note sharing and we reference it often for important events and medical knowledge.
Cons: Signing in as management could be easier. It usually only works on the desk top for me to access management features.

Overall my experience was very good with homebase. I used it for 4 years until my business was closed due to the need and economy. I would recommend it to business owners with small teams. It made annual record keeping a breeze.
Pros: Homebase was user friendly, easy to add and remove employees, and great for record keeping. It was easy to share with my new hires and utilize for time keeping.
Cons: The location feature for clocking in was sometimes a little wonky. Manual edits were required for clocking in when it didn’t detect locations accurately.

Not one that I will ever be able to give a chance for my use again. Paid $500!” Roughly for a year. Used it less that 30 days and asked to cancel and refund and 4 month now and have yet to receive my refund.
Pros: Unfortunately not a highly recommended use for anything. Highly priced for the quality of service to help answer any question or provide any additional assistance on guidance.
Cons: When setting up payroll for a new business they will not allow you to fully account for state/ federal taxes on payroll until you obtain a UI rating which cannot be done until you pay your first employee $1500+ in payroll payments. So pretty useless to have if they don’t allow you to pay anyone until info is provided which can’t be done until payment was processed
