Overall it has been a great experience with little down time and great buy in from most employees and leaders.
Pros: This has helped our company go paperless in our accounts payable department without feeling like we are missing items.
Cons: It took some time to have the developers write it in to our ERP system which is essential to accounting.

LOVE IT! I learned Avid in one hour and have been able to take care of our company invoices with a peace of mind
Pros: It is easy to use and processes invoices quickly. The document management is amazing. I love how secure the banking transactions are and it is worth it.
Cons: I love everything about it. There are no changes that I would want to see. It is user friendly and easy to use.

Pros: Its fast and hassle free making payments is a breeze although some say they have a problem with customer service the one time I had to use it went smoothly

My overall experience is very good. It is easy to have vendors sent over their bills. They are organized by date. Easy to process.
Pros: Avid exchange makes processing invoices quick, easy and organized. I appreciate the dashboard so I'm not looking all over the place for invoices. Account management is key to paying bills successfully.
Cons: There isn't anything I least like about avidxchange. I enjoy everything the website has to offer currently.

Pros: The level of traceability and auditability within AvidExchange is exceptional. From the moment an invoice is uploaded, we have complete, timestamped visibility into its entire activity history, covering every action, review, and approval step. This comprehensive audit trail is invaluable for compliance and internal controls. Furthermore, the features supporting team collaboration are highly effective, particularly the ability to leave internal notes directly on the invoice, ensuring clear communication and smooth handoffs between staff members. I also particularly value the granular control over user permissions, which allows us to set highly specific abilities and restrictions for each staff member, significantly enhancing security and compliance across the board.
Cons: My primary area for improvement concerns the clarity of the check status reporting within the payment processing module. The system currently lacks a descriptive 'word bank' or clearly defined statuses for cut checks. For instance, the status "processing" is frequently misleading. In our experience, this generalized term often indicates that the physical check is lost in the mail or severely delayed rather than actively moving through the expected payment workflow. Implementing more precise and actionable status definitions would greatly reduce confusion and improve our ability to quickly address payment exceptions.

AvidXchange succeeds in reducing manual work: scanning/uploading invoices, routing approvals, tracking payments. These features often save time and reduce paper-based hassles.
Pros: We appreciate that AvidXchange automates invoice capture, approvals, and payments (vs. manual, paper-based processes). For example, scanning invoices and having supporting documents stored with them reduces the need to chase physical paperwork.
Cons: Suppliers sometimes report that payments arrive late, or don’t arrive at all. Some vendors are required (or pressured) to accept payment via methods that involve fees they weren’t expecting or didn’t clearly understand (e.g. virtual cards, enhanced direct deposit).

Overall, very impressed with how easy it was to use and understand. Navigating the platform is easy as well. 10 / 10
Pros: Avid was very easy to use & submit invoices and GL codes. It also had a step to verify if everything was correct before submitting which I liked.
Cons: I did not like that it was separate from the PMS system. I wish there was a way to make it just work from the one software.

Bad!! We were never told about being charged to receive our money that we work so hard for.
Pros: Nothing nothing nothing! Im appalled at the fees charged!
Cons: They charge the vendors a percentage of the funds they receive. These are funds do to us for work completed to the customer who chose to use avid. The customer who contracted with avid should absorb these fees not the vendor!

Was sold as a time saving solution vs. entering invoices in ResMan and processing vs. AvidXchange interface.... while some features are good from a visual's standpoint it's lacking completion as an effective solution to quicker A/P processes. Support is really bad.... you're on your own.
Pros: Promising features, some interface of seeing the actual invoice while coding it is a plus.
Cons: Support is non existent, or lacking at best. If you think this will save you time, forget it. We've been on this platform for 2 years, but there is -0- time savings and they really don't listen to their end users whatsoever. Integration with ResMan is extremely lacking from a tracking standpoint. Some of the most basic reports needed are non-existent, and extremely disorganized and is only enhanced via an enhancement request, which rarely gets addressed annually.

Overall, I have had a great experience using Avid. We were one of the first to use the API functionality with MIP Accounting, and I am glad we made the switch. We save at least 0.5 FTE's on AP. If not for the complaints about the calls to vendors, I would have given 5 stars.
Pros: I really like the ability to process AP while not physically on location. In a hybrid work environment, it is seamless and managers can sign off on invoices no matter where they are. I also like that there is a digital records trail of the invoices, approvals, and processing. This has been incredibly helpful during audit season.
Cons: There were some calls to our community partner vendors informing them of the ability to receive payment via ACH, where the person reaching out made it sound like ACH payments were the only option. I had to clarify with our partners that paper checks were an option, but they were under the assumption after the communication that their only option was to accept the ACH form of payment and pay a fee. I reached out to sales and they said this was unacceptable and they would rectify the situation. Since then, I have not received any more complaints.

I have never used it. I just talk to our PM company who hires the contractors. I talk to the contractors who are walking off the property because it takes their accountants days of full time work to get 100 invoices approved by AvidPay.
Pros: Our property management company who manages our apartment loves it.
Cons: Our contractors absolutely hate it. They upload invoices - 24 hours later they get denied by Avid-no-Pay as they call it. They get coaching from the PM company, resubmit. They get denied. We have our subcontractors walking off the property because they cannot upload invoices to get paid.

Overall this product has been great for our business and saves us valuable time at a low cost. Plus the cost is passed along to our customers, and is less than it would be to purchase postage/ mail checks on our own. It also directly integrates with our property management software
Pros: Significantly easier to process accounts payable. Quick and saves us a lot of time.
Cons: Funds are removed from your account immediately. If the check gets lost or is never received by the vendor, it takes awhile to get the funds returned to your account and re-issued. It also results in a service charge.

My experience was positive. AvidXchange integrates with various enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics, which made it easier to incorporate into my existing workflow.

My overall experience is very positive. There are many features I like and use daily. I would like to see some improvements on the year end reporting, but I think that will come in the future.
Pros: The interface with Yardi is a true plus. The ability to leave notes on invoices and also see the history of the invoice from the date it was received to the date it was paid is another plus. Being able to make corrections and/or edits in capture before it is put into the payables queue is another plus
Cons: I don't like that you have to download annual payment detail report for all of the properties in one report. We use this when processing our 1099s and it would be easier to do this by property.

Due to pricing and limitations with our CRM, we are kind of 'stuck' with Avid for now. It works, but if we had other options with better customer service, we would move to an alternate solution.
Pros: Avid is fairly easy to use and the pricing model is very straight forward.
Cons: Customer service is absolutely horrible. It is almost impossible to speak on the phone with anyone. I have even tried to get information regarding my sales rep and have been told that they (Avid) can't share that information (?!?!?!).

Overall I feel like it’s a good software that makes it convenient to complete your payables on a regular basis.
Pros: It’s user friendly and keeps all your payables organized in one place.
Cons: When you have multiple entities you are doing payables for it is very time consuming to make changes to vendors that are shared between the companies.

Our experience has been nothing but good. They software is very user friendly. When we have needed extra help, their support staff isa always very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.
Pros: AvidXchange Accounts Payable is a very user-friendly software. We love that the invoices and supporting documents can be scanned in and saved right along with the invoice. This eliminates the need to keep paper copies and makes research fast and easy. Their customer service and support staff are always very knowledgeable and helpful when we have a question.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of except maybe the price, but I know they have to stay in business.

User friendly, easy to look up invoices and see where the process is.
Pros: The levels of workflows that can be created for invoices to be filtered and audited per program/individual. The approval process is easy to use.
Cons: Sometimes when putting in an account code it does not always recognize the number(s).

Very positive experience, had a great implementation where we set up all the approvals. Coding is easy and notification reminders work well.
Pros: Very easy for all departments to use. Did not require much training. Allows for usage of custom fields with NetSuite!
Cons: They can upgrade the look of the portal but no accounting or integration issues. Overall works smoothly.
