ZipRecruiter is a recruiting platform mainly used by small businesses in healthcare, accounting, and customer service industries to post jobs, track applicants, and manage hiring. It offers broad job board reach and a streamlined dashboard to support early-stage hiring. However, pricing transparency and candidate quality remain concerns. Recent updates include a searchable resume database, video screening, and automated interview scheduling.

Pros: Zip recruiter is very easy to use and allows you to post job listings that are easily obtainable by those who are looking.
Cons: Zip recruiter can sometimes have ads or posting that may seems to good to be true for those looking causing them to use other platforms.

Overall, the experience has been somewhat positive in terms of job discovery, but less effective when it comes to actual outcomes. It’s helpful as a browsing tool, but I’ve found other platforms to be more consistent in terms of legitimate postings and recruiter engagement.

Pros: There are a lot of job listings available, which makes it easy to browse opportunities across different industries and roles. It’s useful for getting exposure to a wide range of openings in one place.
Cons: The quality and legitimacy of listings can be inconsistent, with some postings feeling outdated or less reliable. I also haven’t seen much meaningful outreach or interview traction from applications submitted through the platform compared to others like LinkedIn or Glassdoor.

ZipRecruiter is extremely easy to use, connects you to jobs fast, and makes applying simple overall.
Pros: ZipRecruiter makes job searching quick and easy, with helpful tailored alerts for candidates and simple applications.
Cons: ZipRecruiter can have outdated listings, lots of competition, and not every application gets a response.

I really enjoyed using ZipRecruiter because we were able to reach a lot of candidates and had a large applicant pool to hire from.
Pros: What I like the most about ZipRecruiter is the ability to post eye-catching job ads quickly across various locations.
Cons: When I used ZipRecruiter I did have to copy and paste a lot from previous postings but it’s possible this has changed.

I found ZipRecruiter to be easy to use and was pleasantly surprised from both the client who is hiring and from the job seeker.
Pros: Easy to navigate job listings. User friendly. Easy can upload and edit my resume. I also enjoyed it from Managing a practice and posting open jobs for employment.
Cons: I didn’t dislike anything with ZipRecruiter. Everything was very user friendly. So far it’s been a very pleasant experience. No complaints.

I have been using this for years when it comes atime I may have to search for a new job, and it is always a very good resource
Pros: I love how easy it is for you to look for jobs. Everything is very easy to identify from areas you want to work in or the job you are looking for
Cons: There are times that I have clicked on jobs and the job has been closed or its just not there to look at

Friendly team and price. Customer support is helpful but no real solutions to the questions asked about processes.
Pros: Value for money. It’s a reasonable price for what you get along with the portal access but it does have work that could be a little more user friendly.
Cons: Robust system, not that user friendly. It’s very systematic. It’s not that user friendly. Some reports are hard to find.

Overall great experience, able to mange my profile easily and connect with different companies with ease
Pros: Lots of Recruiters, easiness to apply online, virtual contacts with companies, ability to upload the certifications and other documents
Cons: Recruiters use other platforms too, making it hard to apply on any one platform. Filter options should be more.

Zip recruiter is a great tool for our recruitment process. It was an easy platform to use when it came to employee recruiting and management. It was nice to be able to customize the posting how we wanted it to show up. Customer Service was easy to get a hold of and they were very responsive which made it even more of a value for the money paid.

Customer Service was easy to get a hold of and they were very responsive which made it even more of a value for the money paid.
Cons: What I liked least was that we did not get as many candidates as we did on other recruiting platforms. Like maybe not as many people are looking on Zip Recruiter as we thought.

Overall experience I would still keep at a 4 star. With everything you can do with AI now, you can fully automate this process.
Pros: I still believe you can find the talent you’re looking for through this software. You will find and receive many applicants.
Cons: My original review I said what I liked least is that you receive many applicants and talent from unrelated jobs and fields that your searching for.

It has been a great hiring tool for our team. It's very user friendly, and I love how quickly we start receiving applications after posting a job. The candidate matching feature saves time and helps surface strong applicants early in the process.
Pros: I generally have positive experiences using ZipRecruiter. It's very easy to navigate and posting jobs is quick and efficient. I appreciate how widely job listings are distributed, which helps bring in a steady flow of candidates.
Cons: The quality of applicants can be a hit or miss. There are some great candidates, but I've had to sort through a number of unqualified applications. Pricing can feel a bit high depending on your hiring needs, but overall, it's a solid tool for reaching a broad audience.
Susie W. · HR Generalist · Hospital & Health Care · April 10, 2026
No viable candidates were generated by ZipRecruiter so we have stopped using them in general. It seems they have diversified their service offerings recently, and we don't need that. We just want actual candidates.
Pros: Their platform is fairly easy to use and understand. It offers all the bells N whistles for a recruiting system.
Cons: The quality and number of viable candidates has not been worth the prices, which are quite high for recruiting ads. This may be an industry-specific problem.
Anonymous User · Firm Administrator · Accounting · April 9, 2026
I like this recruiting software the best out of all the common ones. Its the most user friendly in my opinion
Pros: I use this website the most out of all the popular ones. Ive had the most success on here. Will continue to use.
Cons: No cons. super user friendly. candidates easy accessible and easy to reach out to. I recommend......

Pros: I love the ease of use of this platform. I love how all options are easy to view and select. I love how easy it is to manage postings, messaging, and candidates.
Cons: The only thing I don't like about it is the amount of scams and fake people that message, otherwise it works perfectly.
Stephanie M. · Administration · Health, Wellness and Fitness · March 27, 2026
To create a powerful sales team that is aggressive is my ultimate goal as a Commercial Director. I apply this to speed up our hiring process and screen resumes. It offers unbelievable potential in talent search, yet the very process of onboarding and employee management in the long term demands a completely new software solution.
Pros: The convenience in terms of the recruitment process is unbelievable and within no time we are able to get skilled B2B sales persons in our new ceramic and concrete divisions with automated email communication.
Cons: Its violent subscription rates do not give good value to a mid-size, 50-people manufacturer, and the customer service is not always helpful when we require customization of the system to do a niche glass industry job posting or built in personnel management software.
Christopher A. · Commercial Director · Glass, Ceramics & Concrete · March 26, 2026
Overall, my experience with ZipRecruiter has been positive. The platform is easy to use and effective for reaching a broad pool of candidates quickly. While there can be a high volume of applicants to review, the tools and matching features help streamline the process and make recruiting more efficient.
Pros: What I like most about ZipRecruiter now is how easy it is to quickly reach qualified candidates. The smart matching and candidate recommendations save time, and the platform is intuitive and efficient to use.
Cons: What I like least about ZipRecruiter now is the volume of unqualified or loosely matched applicants, which can make it time‑consuming to identify the best candidates despite the platform’s filtering tools.
Anonymous User · Legal Assistant · Legal Services · March 25, 2026
Overall, I think ZipRecruiter is a great platform. It is user-friendly and it has a huge job board and social media platforms.
Pros: ZipRecruiter has a huge platform, and it definitely can streamline the recruiting process, which saves time for me.
Cons: I have found for what I'm advertising for, which is teachers in early childhood development, I'm getting more applicants from other resources.
Christy L. · Director of Human Resources and Recruitment · Education Management · March 17, 2026
Overall experience of zip I love how you can customize things on there and customer support is great
Pros: like ZipRecruiter because it makes finding jobs easier It shows me job recommendations that match my skills and allows me to apply quickly with just one click I also like that it sends alerts when new jobs are posted and lets employers find my resume This makes the job search faster and more convenient
Cons: One thing I dislike about ZipRecruiter is that it sometimes sends too many job alerts and emails Some job recommendations do not match my skills or location and occasionally job listings may be outdated or low quality Also when I apply for jobs there is no guarantee that employers will respond
Levin W. · Cashier · Food & Beverages · March 8, 2026
It helped me find candidates quickly and made the hiring process easier. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked well for what I needed. It was very easy to manage.
Pros: The dashboard was straightforward, and I liked being able to quickly browse applicants and see matches without feeling overwhelmed. I’m able to contact customer service quickly for bugs.
Cons: It was a little expensive. I also got a lot of applications that weren’t a good fit for the job, so I had to spend extra time sorting through them. I was not able to go through all of my email notifications.
Riley R. · Legal Project Analyst · Legal Services · February 28, 2026
Overall, experience with ZipRecruiter has been positive, especially in terms of reach and automation
Pros: distribution to 100+ job boards and single, easy -to‑use dashboard for applicant makes it efficient
Cons: Pricing and plans can feel opaque and expensive, especially since there are no resumedatabase access

ZipRecruiter overall experienced was amazing. A great platform for job seekers and easy to navigate.
Pros: Zip Recruiter is easy to navigate, easy to use and they have a great customer support services and after services. It offers a place to post jobs and to look for job, hence making the recruitment process rather smooth. Email communication makes it easy to communicate but also to save old communication. Definitely value for money.
Cons: There are many AI platform where one can search for a job, or recruit, ZipRecruiter competitive. N/A.
Stenie O. · People Care and Coordinator Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · February 17, 2026
We have hired almost all of our employees from ZipReqcruiter. It has made our hiring process much easier!
Pros: It allows us to ask the right questions up front to help get the qualified employees we need. You can post your job and leave it there, as we are always hiring as our company grows.
Cons: I don't have any issues at this time, I can't think of anything negative. I like ZipRecruiter. Worth it to use.
Lisa R. · Office manager · Utilities · February 12, 2026
I used to love this platform it got me 3 of my jobs in the past but in the last few months I've applied for all the recommended jobs for me and 0 out of 40 have set an interview or even acknowledged my application its just hard to tell the fake jobs rom the real ones
Pros: It has a lot of variety of jobs to apply for that match my qualifications and the applying part is really easy and simple
Cons: Spam jobs that are bogus and not real and I've applied for 40 jobs and not one even asked for an interview makes me wonder if any of the jobs are real on here
Susanne F. · Laborer · Construction · February 9, 2026
I find it easy to use and overall have not had any struggles. It is a great place to post new job roles.
Pros: This is a great way to seek new talent and fill open roles in our studio when they become available.
Cons: It has always worked as intended and have nothing bad to say - it is easy to use and does the job well!
