Indeed is primarily used by businesses in healthcare, education, and retail to source and manage candidates. It stands out for its ease of use and wide reach, especially through customizable job postings and resume tools. Users value its activity dashboard and applicant tracking, though many cite spam listings and rising costs as drawbacks. Unlike some competitors, Indeed offers flexible budget controls but lacks advanced filtering precision.

My company's overall experience with Indeed has been satisfactory. I am able to communicate more efficiently with potential team members.
Pros: Indeed has allowed me the ability to streamline my entire hiring process. I have everything I need all in one space.
Cons: Sometimes the solicitation correspondence can become a bit annoying. It seems too frequent. Especially, when I am actually in the hiring process.

Overall, Indeed for Employers has been a reliable and effective hiring platform. It helps simplify recruitment and gives good visibility for job openings. The interface is user-friendly, and the hiring tools are useful for managing applications and tracking candidates, although better filtering for application quality would improve the experience further.
Pros: What I liked most about Indeed for Employers was the large candidate reach and the ease of posting jobs quickly. The platform makes it simple to manage applications, filter candidates, and communicate with applicants. It is especially useful for finding candidates across different experience levels and industries.
Cons: One downside is that the cost of sponsored job postings can become expensive, especially for competitive roles. There can also be a high number of irrelevant applications, which sometimes makes the screening process time-consuming.

Indeed for Employers is a great tool for finding potential employees! I love that I can also search by certain criteria to find potential staff suited for the position.
Pros: Indeed for Employers is a great service to be able to find potential employee applicants. It’s an easy and efficient way to do so.
Cons: The one downside of Indeed for Employers is that you cannot have any free job postings anymore and jobs need to be sponsored daily in order to be added in.

Overall, my experience with Indeed for Employers has been positive. The platform is easy to use, efficient for recruitment, and provides strong exposure for job postings. The recruitment process becomes more streamlined through centralized applicant management and communication tools. The employee management and user access portal are straightforward and accessible, making collaboration easier for hiring teams. While there are some limitations regarding pricing and application quality control, the overall value for money is good considering the reach and convenience the platform provides.
Pros: What I liked most about Indeed for Employers was the ease of posting jobs and reaching a large pool of candidates quickly. The platform is user-friendly, making it simple to manage applications, communicate with candidates, and track recruitment progress in one place. The visibility of job postings helped attract diverse applicants, and the filtering tools made shortlisting more efficient. I also found the integration and accessibility features convenient for both recruiters and applicants.
Cons: One downside was that the cost of sponsored postings can become expensive, especially when hiring for multiple positions. At times, there were also a high number of unqualified applications, which increased screening time. Some advanced recruitment and analytics features felt limited unless additional paid options were used. Customer support responses could occasionally take longer than expected depending on the issue.

Indeed for Employers is extremely helpful if looking for or posting a new job. There are very few steps and Indeed customer support is available to help 24/7.
Pros: The ease of use, customer support and user access portal make this software value for money! The recruitment process and connections are made to be so simple and employee management is self explanatory!
Cons: I have no complaints about Indeed for Employers. I have used Indeed for 3 years and never had a single issue.

It is a really good platform that is a great tool for us to use for recruiting of individuals in the roles we need.
Pros: Keeps track of all the resumes and applications for all the jobs that would be posted. Can always go back to retrieve that info.
Cons: There is a lot of resumes that come through that are like spam but would not work for what our company is looking for

It really is an okay system to use but there is lots of room for improvement. It would be useful to be able to download all Cvs
Pros: It's very simple to use and it does make it clear who has applied for which role. The auto contact is also great
Cons: How complicated it is to post a job and it be an unsponsored role. It absolutely makes no sense on why some things are free and others not
Donna C. · HR · Civic & Social Organization · May 8, 2026
We like Indeed, just wish it was cheaper to use to find candidates. If you don't sponsor, you don't get good candidates, which is what they want.
Pros: It is very easy to use and it helps guides you and provides templates along the way to help. Very user friendly.
Cons: It is very very pricey and candidates that sometimes apply, seem not to READ the ad. The price sometimes isn't worth it.

Well-rounded and positive! I think the platform has been very helpful for us as an employer. Most of our candidates are pooled from this.
Pros: I think it offers great customer service, because there is a dedicated representative that I can reach out to whenever I need. In general, the portal is easy to use and has many tools / information on the dashboard.
Cons: I do think that it has some expensive elements. When recruiting, it is a necessary platform; however, if you want to stick out, you need to pay for advertisements.

Pros: All job applications are in one place, you can message applicants in the app and keep record of your communications with them. You can also track where the applicants are in the hiring process which is helpful.
Cons: Not a lot, sometimes I think the messages go to spam and formatting for the job posting can be tricky at times
Kandice S. · Manager · Recreational Facilities and Services · May 6, 2026
Pros: I liked how easy it is to post jobs and manage applications on Indeed for Employers, making the whole hiring process feel quick and straightforward.
Cons: I liked most things overall, but the interview platform on Indeed for Employers wasn’t always reliable and could be a bit inconsistent at times, which sometimes made scheduling or running interviews a little frustrating.
Abbie J. · HR · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · May 6, 2026
Overall, my experience with Indeed for Employers has been positive. The platform is easy to use, helps generate a strong number of applicants, and simplifies the hiring process. It’s been effective for reaching candidates quickly, though managing unqualified applicants and sponsored posting costs can sometimes be challenging.
Pros: What I liked most about Indeed for Employers was how easy it made the hiring process from start to finish. The platform gives access to a large pool of qualified candidates, and the job posting process is simple and quick. I also liked the applicant management tools, which made it easy to review resumes, communicate with candidates, and keep everything organized in one place. The visibility and reach of the platform helped generate applications faster than many other hiring platforms I’ve used.
Cons: One downside of Indeed for Employers is that costs can add up quickly when sponsoring jobs, especially in competitive markets. I also noticed that some applications were not well qualified, which meant spending extra time filtering candidates. The messaging and filtering tools could also be more advanced for managing large applicant pools efficiently.

Very good, have had some good hires, active talent are using it, I didn’t see much additional value from sponsoring a job
Pros: Good number of applications and free to use, like the yes no and maybe features and ability to message in channel
Cons: I think a lot of messages sent in channel get sent in to spam, I say this as feedback from candidates
Elizabeth C. · Manager · Marketing and Advertising · May 2, 2026
It simplifies the recruitment process by giving you control on streamlining potential candidates before they spam your inbox however is a bit rigid in location management
Pros: Recruitment process management is simpler as it gives various cutoff thresholds to streamline potential applicants
Cons: User access portal is at times complicated by location specific pages the applicants are funnelled to when doing a fuzzy search

We have been posting to Indeed for 18 months consecutively for one of my companies. We repost sometimes, but for the most part we create new postings for maximizing views. We have paid for postings, and posted for free. Our experience with using Indeed itself has been good. Once we get the hang of using the Employer Portal it's definitely the best place to post for jobs.
Pros: Value for money. This is also where most people look for jobs, so posting to Indeed will get us the most possible views, vs posting on Craigslist or Facebook for example.
Cons: Quality of candidates can be quite hit or miss. Lots of people applying for jobs who aren't based in the country even though we specifically mention only those within Canada. I find that the Indeed portal isn't very intuitive and just takes a minute to find my way around. This wouldn't stop me using Indeed at all as it's still the best for job postings.

Neutral feelings, used many times to look for a job and or post an open position for health care administration positions.
Pros: Very easy to navigate and easy to find most job listings. A lot of companies post job listings for open positions.
Cons: I hate not personally found any faults or dislikes about Indeed. Seemed very up to date and user friendly.

Overall, my experience with Indeed has been good. It’s easy to use, and I like that I can give team members access to help manage resumes and scheduling. We get a strong flow of candidates and have made some solid hires. Customer support is there when needed, but the platform is simple enough to manage on our own. The cost is a bit high and candidate quality can vary, but it still gets the job done.
Pros: Indeed does what it says it will. I’ve had a lot of success getting resumes, and we’ve made some great connections with hires—some of which have stayed with us for over a year and counting. The platform is very user-friendly, making it easy to navigate, manage candidates, and handle scheduling. It’s also simple to add team members so they can assist with reviewing resumes and coordinating interviews.
Cons: It’s pretty expensive. We do get a lot of resumes, but many aren’t great fits. I know that’s not fully on Indeed, but for the price, it can feel a bit high.

I have enjoyed using indeed to help progress in my career life and networking with others. I have been able to explore ways to grow.
Pros: Indeed has helped it become come efficient to network with others in my field and those offering job growth and opportunities. It keeps me up to date about the latest job position openings. It is easy to use and cost efficient.
Cons: I have had no issues with using indeed and have no concerns about using the platform. Like many online applications indeed can lag with bad connection

Overall, my experience with Indeed for Employers has been positive. It’s a powerful platform for reaching a large and diverse pool of candidates, and it significantly streamlines the hiring process. The ease of posting jobs, managing applications, and communicating with candidates all in one place makes it very efficient for day-to-day recruiting. That said, there are some trade-offs—mainly the cost of sponsored listings and the time required to sift through a high volume of applicants. However, with the right filters and a clear job description, it still delivers solid results. Overall, it’s a dependable tool that works well for filling roles quickly, especially when speed and reach are priorities.
Pros: What I liked most about Indeed for Employers is how easy it makes the hiring process from start to finish. The platform has a massive candidate pool, which means you can quickly reach a wide range of qualified applicants. Posting jobs is straightforward, and the filtering tools help narrow down candidates efficiently, saving a lot of time. I also appreciate the built-in messaging and scheduling features, which keep everything organized in one place. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly tool that simplifies recruiting and helps fill roles faster.
Cons: What I liked least about Indeed for Employers is that the cost can add up quickly, especially when sponsoring jobs to stay competitive. While the platform brings in a high volume of applicants, the quality can be inconsistent, which means spending extra time filtering through unqualified candidates. The search and matching algorithms could be more precise to better surface the most relevant candidates. Additionally, managing multiple postings and tracking performance metrics isn’t always as intuitive as it could be, which can make optimization a bit challenging.

My overall experience with Indeed for Employers has been great. Indeed has matched us with several great employees who still work for us to this day!
Pros: Using Indeed to grow our company has been super easy! It's very user friendly, and the free model makes it worth to post, and repost our ads as needed. Almost all of our employees that we have hired found our job listing on Indeed!
Cons: I did not like that the posts seem to expire and/or get buried over time if you're using the free model. But checking once a month to make sure the posting is still visible is a small price to pay for getting to use the service for free!

Pricing was fair, recruitment process was fantastic, easy to use. Customer support could be easier to get a hold of.
Pros: Recruitment process helped me filter out what employee are a good fit for my company. Being able to see the new recruits information was easy for me to make a connection.
Cons: Had a little issue with the portal at first. Then it took a little bit to get connected with customer support.
Rhonda J. · Medical Administrative · Medical Practice · April 21, 2026
Overall experience, it is the most reliable job recruiting portal, it helps connect us with a large group of people we are able to interview and meet, which hightens the success. I would suggest that they monitor it closely as you may be overpaying for less than impressive resumes. I have hire many employees with Indeed, and would not easily consider using an alternative site.
Pros: I like that is streamlines the application process, and gives us access to many different applicants. It is helpful at matching the role with certain candidates. The portal is very easy to use, and once you know how to juggle all the application than you will have an easier time using it. It will allow you to save notes and manage the potential employees without having to keep notes elsewhere.
Cons: I don't like that it allows rejected candidates to continue to reply even after more than 2 rejections. I feel that it just ambushes you with applicants and you can't really keep up with them, so you are paying for all of the unqualified applicants as well. It is great when you have a designated 'rep' that is able to filter them to your needs. They also do not always have the updated resume, so we will get many applicants with nothing but no employment history.
Anonymous User · AGM · Hospitality · April 21, 2026
My overall experience using Indeed to find and hire employees has been very positive. The platform consistently brings in a large pool of applicants, and the quality of candidates is generally strong. Posting jobs is straightforward, managing applicants is simple, and the built‑in communication tools make it easy to schedule interviews and keep the hiring process organized. The ability to filter candidates by experience, skills, and qualifications saves a lot of time, especially when hiring for roles that require specific expertise.
Pros: It's extremely easy to use. Job posting, messaging, and interview scheduling are all intuitive. The screening tools are very helpful. Assessments and filters make it easier to narrow down applicants quickly. Job posts get traction fast, which helps fill roles efficiently.
Cons: Sponsored job posts and resume searches are effective, but the pricing structure can become expensive, especially when hiring multiple positions at once.
Lisa S. · Administrator · Food Production · April 20, 2026
My overall experience with Indeed for Employers is positive and I will continue to use and recommend to others as a great hiring asset.
Pros: This app allows me to easily post and edit and communicate with prospective employees within a matter of minutes and is a great resource for our small school as it quickly posts and I typically get responses within hours of the host. Its a very user friendly database to use and I enjoy the affordability.
Cons: Sometimes we do get spam applicants or applicants that no-show an appointment and seem to not be very interested but are simply auto applying to jobs through a specific feature. This is a waste of time for small companies who typically move things around to schedule interviews.
Abby R. · Principal · Education Management · April 20, 2026
This platform allows me to reach candidates in mostly all areas at we need to, from my desk while I sip on cold coffee. In addition to helping with the diversity numbers which we needed to improve for the board, it has assisted with reaching more poeple.
Pros: Response rate has been pretty good (about 3%) as compared to the "ghosting" we normally experience at other recruitment platforms. It helped us hire good candidates that we were looking for and also the customer service team was good they did not leave me hanging when I experienced confusion with postings. It also allows us to stop campaigns easily from the dashboard.
Cons: Sponsored job ads can be expensive and the filtering system is not always reliable, in my opinion if they work on these areas then it will the top apps out there.
