Pros: Good, comfortable and very understandable /Super easy /It has many, good and extensive help options and a variety of tools

Cons: I think that it is a heavy thing, and it is better for it to be light in movement and mobility without the need to have large computer capabilities, as most computers can deal with it without feeling any problem or heaviness.

Pros: Very smart code completion and suggestions Excellent debugging and refactoring tools Great integration with Maven, Gradle, and Git Clean and organized interface Lots of built-in development tools

Cons: Uses a lot of RAM and CPU sometimes Initial indexing can be slow Too many features can feel overwhelming for beginners

Pros: Good integration with all types of programming languages. Plugins and customization is very much appreciated.

Cons: Some minor issues with SSH remote usage, connection issues can be frustrating. Licensing management system can still occasionally be confusing.

Pros: The intelligent code completion and refactoring tools are lifesavers, especially when ensuring the code adheres to OOP and SOLID principles. The built-in integration for Spring Boot makes running, testing, and debugging REST APIs incredibly smooth. It also has seamless Docker integration, which streamlines my daily backend tasks and deployment preparations, the best plugin market and the compatibility with many services .

Cons: It is quite resource-heavy. Indexing large projects upon startup can take some time, and it consumes a significant amount of RAM so my device cry. You definitely need a machine with strong specifications (at least 16GB RAM) to run it smoothly alongside other tools without experiencing any lag, sometimes i should restart my device when i run many plugins to make it build the maven project smother

Pros: The code completion feature with AI is a real life-saver. Its powerful indexing and deep code analysis predict what I need to write and also , it catches potential errors even before compilation, which is especially helpful for my Java projects at university as a CS student . The debugger is also very good, its interface tools make it easy to track variables and analyze stack traces, helping a lot in more complex projects . I also appreciate the wide range of plug ins and integrated tools.

Cons: The IDE can be quite resource intensive, consuming a large amount of RAM. When multiple projects are open, or if you’re using a mid-range laptop, you may notice some lag or slower startup times. It also has a steep learning curve the abundance of features and shortcuts can feel overwhelming for beginners at first, but the effort to master them definitely pays off in the long run.

Pros: It's one of the most robust and powerful IDEs in the market. It has a huge number of advanced features, a marketplace with thousands of plugins, and convenient user interface. Overall, it offers a great developer experience.

Cons: Unfortunately, sometimes, it can be quite heavy and even if you have a powerful machine, you may notice some lagging. Especially, during the code indexing process.

Pros: The versatility and speed are my favorite features of IDEA. Hands down one of the best, most feature rich IDE's I have ever had the pleasure of using. JetBrains really knows their customer and it shows.

Cons: There's no complaints other than I wish it were free, but if it were I doubt the product would be the same.

Pros: Developer friendly because it provides all syntax and the autocomplete feature helps to do more work in less time.

Cons: Plugins can be added feasibily. More user friendly to use. Dark and light modes are super nice to haves.

Pros: step into step out: cmd+[ && cmd+] Great intro to programming until you hit a bottleneck then its also your day job life thereafter.

Cons: hand-chain-like approach to UI programming and integration - at least from my experience with it. Continuous hastle, not even client urgencies give me this much grief.

Cons: need better AI co pilot integration for code reviews, code suggestions. hoping to see in next versions for robust AI code generation

Pros: I love all the plugins available to the IDE and how well they enhance the interface. IntelliJ IDEA also performs very well as I very rarely have any times where I need to wait long for it to keep up with code changes.

Cons: The only thing that really has bugged me with IntelliJ IDEA is how it does not seem to handle system shutdown well. Even with all files saved, I must close the application in order to shutdown or restart my computer.

Pros: It has good performance and is a fairly powerful IDE. It also has an aesthetically pleasing interface and has good integration with other IDEs/tools.

Cons: It can be harder to learn than some competitors, and is hard to integrate with other similar IDEs, since similar ones typically cost extra.

Pros: Lo que más me gusta es que tiene una gran posibilidad de adaptar el IDE al lenguaje que estes utilizando, con muchas herramientas y plugins que facilitan el trabajo.

Cons: Precisamente que tenga tantas opciones a veces hace que se vea muy saturado y con demasiada información en la pantalla

Pros: The easy to use interface and also the tour guide which helps to understand the working of the app. Other than that the ability to link Github and other code sharing platform makes it even better. The automatic spelling correction feature works great. The possible suggestions to resolve any error is also a great feature.

Cons: It does not provide the option to open the same project in two different windows which is a drawback for me.

Pros: Fast setup and good integration with GitLab pipelines. This IDE allows simple or complexity development

Cons: UI feels a bit outdated sometimes, overwhelming whit plugin and navigation could be smoother

Pros: Multi language support within a single product, project, even a single file

Cons: Setting up and managing projects can be a real pain, not very intuitive. the AI assistant is nice when it works, but it often doesnt, and your code snippets/project files are aggressively truncated behind the scenes making the tool much less useful for anything other than very narrow prompts lacking context

Pros: IntelliJ autocompletes like a champ, refactors on click. Built‑in git, plugins by the bucket

Cons: But it guzzles RAM on beefy projects and that licence fee is nowhere near pocket‑money levels

Pros: IntelliJ IDEA is the best development platform due to its integrated artificial intelligence, support for multiple languages and technologies, advanced refactoring tools, and its intuitive and customizable interface. It is a versatile tool that enhances productivity and code quality.

Cons: I have no negative comments to point out about this platform.

Pros: Cross-platform. Written in Java for Java.

Cons: IntelliJ Idea can be a bit slow sometimes, but it's manageable.
