Pros: Ability to change shifts on the fly. Hours Report. Mobile app for simple tasks and to view schedule.
Cons: Unable to schedule true on call shifts and have to use work around. Unable to filter locations on the Dashboard for tasks such as 'shifts needed to republish'. Unable to build individual schedule templates to save rather than copying current templates. Unable to switch order of employees on schedule. Inability to see who is currently on when using the time clock function unless person is clocked in. Functionality of shift tags and skill tags is not user friendly for our purposes. When PTO is entered by employee it is their time zone but does not convert to manager time zone for approval.

My overall experience with Humanity Schedule has been very positive. It’s an intuitive and user-friendly (for Admins and Employees) platform that makes scheduling and reporting efficient and easy to manage. The system helped streamline day-to-day operations, and their customer support is especially strong.
Pros: I really liked how easy Humanity Schedule is to use, especially when it came to managing shifts and pulling reports. What stood out most, though, was their customer service! You can quickly connect with someone, and they’ll even hop on a screen share if needed, making resolving issues fast and stress-free.
Cons: One downside I noticed with Humanity Schedule is that occasionally, certain data fields aren’t available in reports. While you can submit feature requests and they’re open to feedback, it can take time for those updates to be added to their roadmap.

My overall experience with the Humanity app has been positive. The scheduling system is extremely easy to use, which makes checking, managing, and adjusting my shifts simple and stress‑free. The layout feels intuitive, and it doesn’t take long to find what I need. The only downside is that the app can be a bit slow at times, which interrupts the otherwise smooth experience. Overall, it’s a helpful tool that makes staying on top of my schedule much easier.
Pros: “What I like most about Humanity is how easy the schedule is to use. Everything is clear, quick to navigate, and makes managing my shifts stress‑free."
Cons: I have no cons about the app. Overall I have been able to navigate through the pages and figure out how things work

The info is easy to read and easy to get to my schedule. The only thing I would like and don't see is what other staff I will be working with.
Pros: That it's data is clear and easy to move around the pages of content. The reminders about when my next scheduled shift is was very helpful.
Cons: I haven't found anything yet.I think you have really thought about us and what we would want and need as far as our scheduling goes.
Lori K. · care giver · Hospital & Health Care · April 27, 2026
I've been working with it for over 12 years and I find it very user friendly. At one point, management asked us to try other "free" options and those options did not work for us.
Pros: The different colors for the different shifts. It helps me figure out if I have enough people working the different shifts every day/week/month; and it helps the staff to know what they will be assigned to do each day. I like that you guys are a "chat" any time I need help with something.
Cons: Not much. I really like the system... but if I have to name the thing I like least: When I enter a leave requests, I can't just choose a date, there is a roll down that comes up that makes it that I can't choose the date I want. I just choose any date to be able to go change it afterwards the the date I really want. Also, we still can't link our HR/payroll system to our scheduling system; we are using DayForce - Ceridian.

Everything was great overall! It was easy to schedule a shift and it was free so that was great! It also seems like it was pretty safe and also I once had a problem and this guy like a worker immediately supported me and did such a good job at solving my problem like asap even tho it was like the middle of the night, easy to schedule things and payroll was fine, easy to look up my calendar and shifts.
Pros: I liked how simple it was to use, like when you open it it doesn’t feel overwhelming, it’s very organized and easy to understand and navigate.
Cons: I didn’t like that sometimes it failed to notify me about shift and sometimes it was late in doing so that was stressful.
Ghaniyah A. · Proctor · Education Management · April 26, 2026
After scheduling my shifts, I'm also able to review my shifts as well in shift planning to review what shifts I choose.
Pros: What I like the most about Humanity Schedule is that it is user friendly. The schedules are very easy to read.
Cons: I have never had any issues with Humanity Schedule. Because I've had no issues, I have No Cons to report.
Shirley P. · Member Support · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 25, 2026
Overall, a reliable and efficient platform that supports daily operations effectively. reduce manual effort, and improve overall team coordination
Pros: easy to use for scheduling and makes managing shifts simple. Their customer support is quick and helpful.
Cons: The training module needs more work to fully meet user expectations and support effective onboarding.
Amr A. · IT and QA specialist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 25, 2026
I much prefer my old scheduling system. I never had to look at instructions on how to use it. When I did need help their customer service follow up was very good.
Pros: It is nice to have an app to look at your schedule, etc on your phone. Customer service follow up was very good.
Cons: Humanity is not intuitive in use and needs more functionality to be a good system, on the computer and app version.
Erin W. · Pharmacist · Hospital & Health Care · April 24, 2026
Overall the app is simple to navigate through, all the important info to do my work is at my fingertips, and I get helpful notifications both in app and email about upcoming shifts.
Pros: It was super easy to find my shifts and any updates made to them. I loved seeing all info about my event work right in the app. Info like location, leads/bosses, when and where are lunches were, etc. This changes a lot since I get contracted to work different events, so having it accessible within a few clicks has been great.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a dedicated field on the shift for bosses' name and numbers just in case. Currently it's up to whoever schedules me to put that in the long list of info for the "training" for a particular event. And whoever schedules my shift varies so they don't always format the info in the same way. Having a dedicated field for my bosses info, especially since it changes with each new event I'm contracted to do, would make my life easier.

My overall experience has been remarkable. The humanity platform really make it easy for me and staff to do all things Shift Management related
Pros: It is very useful for small to large companies. They have included a lot of useful features more then I thought I realized when I first evaluated the application. and they love user feedback and their customer support responds fast. Scheduling is a breeze, and lets me see the entire organization.
Cons: I dont have anything that I like least about Humanity Schedule. It is very well designed and thought out.
Adrian P. · Chief Enforcement Officer · Law Enforcement · April 24, 2026
Overall pretty seamless, when I have needed to contact customer service they have been prompt and able to answer my questions
Pros: ability to drop and swap shifts, schedule lay out. These are the features I find the most helpful to use.
Cons: slow to scroll through, would be nice to be able to indicate what shifts you are looking for to see who at your company has that shift, would make trades much easier.

My overall experience with Humanity Schedule has been very positive. I have been using it for about a year, and it has been a reliable and practical tool for managing my work schedule. It makes it easy to check shifts, stay organized, and keep track of updates. Overall, it has made scheduling much more convenient and efficient.
Pros: What I liked most about Humanity Schedule is how practical and user-friendly it is. I’ve been using it for about a year now, and it has made managing shifts, checking schedules, and staying organized much easier. It’s simple, efficient, and very convenient for day-to-day work.
Cons: What I liked least is that it can be inconvenient when managing multiple accounts, since you can’t easily view the different schedules in one place. Having to switch between accounts to check each schedule can be time-consuming.

Overall the product is incredible value and a perfect solution for small-medium sized businesses. If you have in-house developers, integrating their APIs is another way to customize the product to fit your needs.
Pros: Extensive APIs and customization potential - can be integrated with other systems like HRIS/ERP. Also provides very good value for the money - feature rich and secure. Implementing SSO/IDP was easy and onboarding is seamless and can be automated.
Cons: Existing payroll dependency forced us to use systems in parallel even with API customizations - unless you have relatively simple requirements migrating your payroll systems may prove challenging.

Have not had an issues using Humanity other than getting app installed to phone but once that was done I was very happy with it
Pros: Scheduling is a breeze and love that we can pick in 1/2 time slots. Nice that we can also change over to our time zone making it easier to relate
Cons: Had difficulty in beginning of season getting the app downloaded to computer so had access to it all the time

So far good. Need to explore more options. Also trying to explore options to directly connect to this website via some BI tool and automate my regular activities.
Pros: Whenever there is any query, the Customer Support is readily available and very prompt with their responses.
Cons: I do not like the manual extraction of data. There should be some subscription option to automatically send it on emails.

Overall, a positive experience. Humanity Schedule has helped streamline our scheduling process and improve communication across the team. It’s a dependable tool that saves time and reduces scheduling conflicts.
Pros: Very useful overall. It makes scheduling, shift management, and team coordination much easier and more organized.
Cons: The new view can be slow with larger employee groups. Also, assigning open shifts is not very intuitive, as it’s hard to quickly see seniority or who still needs hours.
Chilbert D. · Operational Lead · Hospital & Health Care · April 24, 2026
Overall, it has been an improvement for our team to be able to see the schedule and updates in real time. The product has a lot of customizations/rules that allowed us to mold it to suit our needs. The IT support team for Humanity is very responsive.
Pros: Humanity has finally gotten our department schedule off a static excel worksheet and into a dynamic app/web-based system that our team can view from anywhere. It's easy and quick for our team to log on and they appreciate the real-time updates and notifications when changes are made to their schedule. It supports SSO and met our organization's IT security requirements. Once a schedule is entered it is easy to update/move shifts. The templates and custom options for repeating shifts are helpful.
Cons: Humanity is fairly customizable, but I hope they update some of the interface in the future. For example, to change a shift time you have to toggle through a list of times rather than just being able to type the time quickly. The options to edit multiple shifts at once are very limited - for example, if I want to change the name of several shifts after they're created, I have to do this individually by hand. For repeating shift series, there is no option to extend the series indefinitely.

New staff find the activation, information in notes, use of the availability page and location finder easy to use and update as needed. This gives all our casual staff the flexibility to source work from several companies and for me as coordinator to know who is available at any given time. Overall, very pleased with performance and support.
Pros: Humanity is an easy-to-use app for our company of 300+ staff. I moved from BOH to staffing coordinator and found the transition along with customer support, amazing. The scheduling and payroll aspects are straightforward and easy to adjust when needed.
Cons: As I'm away from the office a lot, I found not being able to see acknowledgement of shift on the phone app difficult to conduct staffing allocation. This was mentioned to TCP Humanity and was immediately rectified. The locating of remote sites in the app is very frustrating as you have to scroll through the pages to get to the site required. If this had a Filter Location tab, as it does in the Primary site location, this would make access infinitely easier to use.

Overall, it's a good product. Reported the glitch with printing and thought is was fixed, but still have problems.
Pros: The product is simple and efficient. I appreciate the alerts for PTO so I don't have to track PTO. Moving shifts around is simple and easy.
Cons: Problem with printing schedule in "Employee View" - printing works in "Position View" In the "Employee View", the days are not Sunday to Saturday, but Saturday to Sunday.
Mary R. · Customer Service Manager · Retail · April 24, 2026
a few things are irksome, but, overall, it is a great program. there are pros and cons, but mainly pros.
Pros: I like the fact that it does not boot you out, no matter how much time has passed since using it. you don't have to keep signing in. It gives a lot of info regarding your schedule as well as that of others. I like how the calendar is arranged. I like the customer support. The service and troubleshooting techniques are great... when there is a problem, it gets solved pretty fast and the workers who we interact with are helpful and courteous. and they are very great at following up to ensure the problem is solved. I have no concerns about security, it's good.
Cons: it gives you lots of needed information including not only your own schedule, but that of your colleagues so that shift trades are easier; but the way it is set up, makes it somewhat complicated and convoluted. It would be easier if everyone's schedule was listed on the same page/screen so that we could see everyone's at once, instead of having to click on dates, typing in names, and clicking on different positions. but still it gives a lot of info. it's also disappointing that, unlike, staff ready, it does not tell you other people who have requested the same day off you did, and in what order people have requested it off (gives you an idea of how likely it is that you will get that day off). It's disappointing that you have to remove certain "things" (like a STV request off, eg.) from a day on the calendar before you switch that shift with someone ( I don't understand why that happens)

Our overall experience with Humanity has been GREAT!! I recommend it to anyone looking for a scheduling site.
Pros: We used previous scheduling sites, but once we found Humanity, everything Changed!! The customer support is available 24/7 and always extremely helpful!!
Cons: I prefer the old system look and layout. I’m not a huge fan of the new scheduling, but, will have to get use to it.
Lindsay L. · Director of Operations · Medical Practice · April 23, 2026
Overall good. It could use some improvement to the filtering options to allow to input date range which makes it easier than going to reports which is very frustrating when you want to get the whole picture for specific dates range. Another issue it is very picky and informative when uploading file does not give specific reason why it sis not upload correctly.
Pros: Great customer service, easy to use but not very intuitive (filtering date ranges). Some flaws that could be improved.
Cons: It could use some improvement to the filtering options to allow to input date range which makes it easier than going to reports which is very frustrating when you want to get the whole picture for specific dates range. Another issue it is very picky and informative when uploading file does not give specific reason why it sis not upload correctly.
Sam Q. · Integration Engineer · Information Technology and Services · April 23, 2026
it's what corporate chose but it's certainly better than the last two systems if only we could streamline the paystubs and the scheduling into one application.
Pros: it's very easy input on my end, and it's simple and seamless for employees on their end. also appreciative of the cx service provided when needed.
Cons: not having the "reason why" as visually evident when checking employee availability. an employee was putting detailed notes for every unavailability, and i wasn't aware of them without hovering over the small plus sign

Overall, my experience with Humanity Schedule has been positive. It makes scheduling and shift management simple and efficient, with an easy-to-use interface. Communication features and real-time updates are helpful, though initial setup and the mobile app could be improved.
Pros: What I liked most about Humanity Schedule is how intuitive and user-friendly it is. The interface makes it easy to create, adjust, and share schedules without confusion, even for first-time users. I also appreciate the flexibility it offers—managing shifts, tracking availability, and handling last-minute changes can all be done quickly. The automated notifications and real-time updates help reduce miscommunication and keep everyone on the same page. Overall, it saves time, improves organization, and makes workforce management much more efficient.
Cons: What I liked least about Humanity Schedule is that some advanced features can feel a bit limited or unintuitive at times, especially when customizing schedules for more complex needs. The mobile app experience could also be smoother, as it occasionally feels less responsive compared to the desktop version. Additionally, initial setup and navigation through certain settings can take time to fully understand, which may be challenging for new users.
