Helper Helper gives us the ability to provide our student-athletes with detailed reports of what they have done during their career. As we look to prepare them for their next step after sport or after their collegiate career, having Helper Helper allows us to give them quantifiable data to place on their resume. They can show graduate schools and future employers what they have done and easily show the engagement throughout their time. It is also great way to give coaches and administrators a quick snapshot of what the service component for the department looks like. As one of the first Power 5 schools to jump on board, we have loved being apart of Helper Helper, love being able to compete with other schools while enhancing or effectiveness to get our students out in the community. In talking with any schools who don't have the app, we always speak volumes about the app because it truly has transformed our program for the better.
Pros: I love that this product is able to conduct thorough reports and also allows for there to be comparison with other institutions. In an era where schools are constantly looking to quantify their programming, having a way to track all service and community engagement streamlines the process well.
Cons: I think there are a few small tweaks that could be made, but overall when customers ask for adjustments the Helper Helper staff does a phenomenal job of looking into finding solutions. We have been apart of the Helper Helper family since 2015 and have seen tremendous growth and love seeing how it continues becomes more user friendly and the right hand for student affairs professionals.

Pros: The software itself is excellent and the Helper Helper team is always adding new features that make the administrator and user experiences event better. But what stands out the most is the team's commitment to providing superior customer service. We have requested numerous customizations in the last year and they have delivered each and every time. The team is also extremely responsive. I've never had any trouble getting an email response or a call scheduled. Our experience working with Helper Helper has been nothing but positive.
Cons: I have no complaints about the software. Every feature we have asked for or needed has been provided and they're constantly adding features that we didn't even know we needed.

Pros: Helper Helper is extremely user friendly. It has streamlined our community service events and provided opportunities at the fingertips of our student-athletes.
Cons: Just as anything great company, Helper Helper continues to strive for improvement. I would love to see Helper Helper install an option for professional development events to be added to their site and it be separated in report from the volunteer hours so student-athletes can clearly discuss with employers how they've improved their community and themselves throughout their career.

Pros: Helper Helper has been very easy for our students to understand and use. The students appreciate having all of the information on their phones. I have recommended it to a number of higher education institutions. The staff at Helper Helper is the BEST!!! If I have any issues or suggestions they are always happy to problem solve and help make things easier for me (as an administrator) and our students.
Cons: The biggest problem is having the students download and use the software. The students are slow to download Helper Helper and I’m not sure why. Helper Helper staff has given me a number of excellent suggestions to help students engage with the program, but the students are reluctant-I’m not sure why. If they use it one time-they love it! It’s getting them to use it initially. This is NOT a problem with the software, but a problem with my students.

Overall, I had a great experience with Helper Helper. It was an organized way to track volunteer hours electronically and see if people are attending. I also liked being able to compare who is volunteering and who isn't, keeping it all electronic was very convenient.
Pros: This was pretty easy to use. I like how anyone could sign up for opportunities and how it kept track of how many hours each person had. It was easy for administrators to add events.
Cons: It could have been a little easier for admin to add details to events. Things like adding multiple dates for the same event but with different times were sometimes a hassle. Also, adding a limit on how many volunteers can attend and the access code at the bottom are somewhat hidden. The access code especially was confusing for everyone for awhile because when the admin created it, the verification code at the bottom seemed so hidden and it made a mess of things for awhile. Make it more clear what it does!

A-MAZE-ING!!
Pros: So many things to love about Helper Helper! I oversee a program that requires 300+ students to participate in/attend several events over the course of the semester, and before HH I was using several different programs to manage this process. HH provides everything I need in one platform, and it has a phone app for my students, which they LOVE and find easy to use! The customer service we've received with this platform has been above and beyond. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been super patient with me, helping me to find solutions to all my issues. I can run all sorts of reports and even know the economic impact of the hours my student spend serving their community.
Cons: For some smaller organizations with limited budgets, the only "con" might be the price, although I have to tell you, HH is worth every penny!!

Pros: We needed a system that would easily allow our members' the ability to plan, track and assess their service work throughout the academic year. Helper Helper has an easy-to-use, intuitive platform that tracks the information we need from an organization-wide level, while also proving helpful at the individual chapter-level, too. The Helper Helper team have been great partners over the last 2.5 years as we designed and rolled out the platform for our members.
Cons: Our biggest challenge has not been with the software itself, but in getting our members to use it effectively. While being very intuitive to use, it still takes a little bit of convincing for college students to adapt to a new system for service tracking and reporting. That being said, the Helper Helper team has been wonderful with giving us ideas and suggestions to create greater buy-in across the organization.

Cons: Wish there was a way to export individual reports for students that list events and time spent.

Pros: Helper Helper has been a great tool for our athletic department to manage our community service. Our student-athletes and coaches find it easy to use. Helper Helper lets us collect data and organize it to see the impact our teams are making on our community.
Cons: I wish it would give the option to have all volunteers' hours reset to 0 at the beginning of our year. Instead, it will show a fourth-year-volunteer as having far more hours than a first-year. You can get the data for a certain time period, but it requires creating a report.

We have had such a positive overall experience with Helper Helper - saved time, money, energy, and definitely made us more efficient. We strongly recommend this product!
Pros: The community service and data collection as well as user - friendliness of this software is fantastic! We would spend hours and many days in a given term tracking everything as well as communicating with students and hosts, this program makes it efficient and streamlined in a way that brings us all to the next level...it's awesome!
Cons: I do not have any issues with this software, the great thing about this company is they are always listening to feedback and suggestions to come up with innovative ways to serve their clients needs. Thank you!

Our students are able to take the lead in recording and tracking their service hours. They can see their progress to their service hour requirement in real time. It is also so much easier for our service administrators to follow up with students, check on progress, and promote opportunities.
Pros: The initial product did not meet some of our needs, however, the company listened to us as well as other schools. They made changes to the software and/or provided extensive tech support. We are very pleased with the responsiveness of the company and willingness to hear issues from their clients.
Cons: Initially the reports were difficult to use and adapt to our needs. They continue to get better and are much more useful for us. Also, while there is a way for students to reflect on their service experiences, it is not a featured or even expected part of their recording of their hours. This could be developed better.

Overall I have absolutely loved it. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] are so incredibly helpful. They actually have taken a few of my suggestions in the last year and adapted it to the system which has been a huge help. It has saved use time and streamlined out system of tracking and planning immensely. Over time, I hope coaches will begin to use it in the way it was meant to be used (checking their students progress themselves). But I think over time that will get better. Even so, I can find a student-athlete and immediately provide their coach with a report of their team. That is incredibly helpful.
Pros: I love that I can track reports without relying on human error to do so. I used to track all of our events by hand, but now I have the ability to track attendance, create opportunities, schedule with various groups, and create individual, team, and university wide reporting.
Cons: I think there are a few things that would help it. For example, we use HH for all of our programs. I wish I could navigate the system to where I could edit each programs tracking system. Such as for a career program, they get credit for attendance but not in a time increment. Then I could track service with time increments. That way when I generate a report, I won't need to edit anything. We also do an event called Frog Cup - they are required to attend 4 events and 10 hours of service. But I can't make that a base report level. I also struggled a bit with the categories and counting things twice. But not a big deal.

Excellent! It made a difference in how we run our organization and put more responsibility on the students to sign up for events and track their hours. The cost is a part of our annual dues for members, so it is a very feasible option for schools or any group that is on a tight budget.
Pros: Helper Helper made our jobs as administrators of a large school organization so much more enjoyable and easier. We loved being able to enter all our upcoming volunteer events and have students check in on their phones. Way better than sign-in sheets!
Cons: I didn't have any big issues with this software. Overall, it was easy to implement and use. Sometimes the students had trouble logging in, but that was probably more of a user issue than a software issue.

From the time we got this software the customer service has been amazing, I and email [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and in no time get a detailed response. As a one-person shop in athletics, tracking and setting up community service use to be like a full-time position, and would take up way to much of my time. Now it is so simple and I can spend and 1/8 of the time I use to spend doing things. This has given me so much more time to focus on my athletes and their other programming.
Pros: This software is so easy and user friendly. You don't have to know anything about computers in order to use the program. Everything is easy to find on your own and I hardly ever need assistance!
Cons: There is honestly nothing I can say I don't like.

We will probably continue to use going forward. I really appreciated the emails asking who it was going and giving me hints on features.
Pros: The system is easy to use once you get the hang of it. The tutorials are also very helpful.

Students are able to enter their own volunteer hours, which are then easily verified with the software. They are also able to keep track of the hours that have been approved, which is a huge timesaver. I also enjoy the option to add our own volunteer opportunities and copy them for multiple events. Our organization time for our student club is cut in half with Helper Helper!
Pros: The software makes tracking volunteer activity a snap! It's very user-friendly, and the customer support is amazing! The feature that is different from other similar products is the verify feature. It allows me to verify a student's participation with an outside organization without making phone calls or sending emails.
Cons: I really don't feel as if any features are missing. Our organization has enjoyed this software greatly.

The team at Helper Helper is very customer service driven. They were very helpful in the implementation process and are willing to adapt the platform from user suggestions.
Pros: Helper Helper simplifies the organizing and tracking of community service opportunities. The software is easy to use and popular among the students that utilize the platform. Very user friendly from an administrator and student perspective.

The University of Miami's Athletic Department has had an amazing overall experience with Helper Helper.
Pros: What I liked most about Helper Helper is the ability to track and record what our student-athletes are doing, in the community, on campus, and what career development events they attend. This is so beneficial when writing letters of recommendations, nominating for awards, and helping a student-athletes with a resume. There also numerous reports that you can pull up to see the popular organizations the student-athletes volunteer at and see the amount of hours each have done. The competition is always exciting for us. Our student-athletes are naturally competitive and make a strong effort to win, which in return greatly helps out our communities. It has all of the features we were looking for, and more.
Cons: There really are not a lot of cons when it comes to our use of Helper Helper. It comes with all the features we are looking for and has been a great asset for our athletic department.

Pros: Very easy to onboard. User friendly for students and administrators. Customer service is quick and helpful. Appreciated the training sessions early in the process.
Cons: Only early limitations were parts of the software that I didn't fully know how to utilize. Asked questions and they answered.

Helper Helper is a wonderful product with a wonderful staff! The system is simple, responsive, easy to use, easy to explain, and easy to understand. The data it can store and the reports the system can generate have been of great value to our organization! Pros: Helper Helper is very user friendly for the administrator as well as the user. It is self explanatory, straightforward, and simple. The Helper Helper team is extraordinarily knowledgable, helpful, responsive & kind.
Cons: Helper Helper has throughly and thoughtfully designed every aspect of their product. They have specifically tailored our functions & flow to meet our desires and needs. They are always willing to work with the customer to fix or tweak a certain aspect of the process. If your request is not available with their product, they brainstorm with you to find another way to achieve what you need.

My overall experience has been great! Helper Helper is always very helpful and does a great job working with me.
Pros: It is user friendly. There is the possibility to customize key features.
Cons: There was some difficulty integrating the software with our software, but that has been addressed. It would also be helpful to have the ability to add an end date to opportunity posts.
