We are very happy with GymMaster. We feel confident that the system is secure and it suits our needs well. Being able to automate a lot of tasks that don't add value in our business has given us more time to do the things that really matter!
Pros: We use GymMaster for 24/7 gym management. We changed our management system around the covid outbreak and were really relieved with the support GymMaster extended to users throughout this time. The level of support you receive from the team is second to none - having direct phone access to support as well as being able to email help for more complex issues. GymMaster is also great value for money - it has meant that we have been able to unsubscribe to other 'add on' services/subscriptions that we now use directly in GymMaster eg, emailing our newsletters was previously done through Mail Chimp.
Cons: The initial set-up. GymMaster has comprehensive functionality and the process of changing over from our previous software and setting up GymMaster to align with our business practices was difficult and it took quite some time to get things working as we wanted them to and learning how to use the new software at the same time.

I have been with Gym master now for 2 months as a patting customer but over 6 months since I have engaged with them in signing up as a customer. Experience has been nothing but amazing - I am very big on customer service and Gym Master has delighted me in that space.

Amazing team of support staff for training, and to answer questions and help teach us how to use the platform! Glad we made the move to this system!
Pros: So far, GymMaster has been a great tool for managing our gym, but what really stands out is their customer support. Every time I’ve reached out (which as been a lot, since I truly want to understand all that the software can do for us) there have been no long hold times and the team has always been kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. They really listen when I explain what I’m trying to do or understand — and instead of just reading from a script or giving me generic FAQ answers, they actually look into my specific situation and find real solutions. It’s clear they care about helping their customers succeed and be able to use the software to it's fullest, and that makes a huge difference. Highly recommend GymMaster for both the software and the incredible support team behind it!
Cons: The data transfer took a bit longer than we expected, but we had a lot of members in the system to transfer.

Overall the experience is Good - our contact [sensitive content hidden] is very good to have, and the support is good. I think we could benefit from getting to talk to other scandinavian gyms that are using it so that we could learn from eachother.
Pros: overview, intuitive, uptime/working, possibilities are good Also the peolpe at the help-email is good
Cons: Payment fees are too high, and lack of scandinavian payment integration as Nets, Vipps, Mobile pay etc.

very good for the most part
Pros: We love Gymmaster - super easy to use - super awesome reports - great help line you can actually talk to a person that knows how the program works. Its been great for us and is always getting better - we have been with them since 2012.
Cons: some of the new support crew not as good as the originals- be good to get annual check in with a real expert to look over how we are using gymmaster and show us new updates / capabilities that we could use better

Costumer service is amazing, easy to use program, the member management is exactly what I was looking for.
Pros: GymMaster has been one of the best business decisions that I have made. The transitions to this system was as easy as it could have been and the team is extremely helpful.
Cons: I would love for them to implement a payment processor to update expired cards automatically and allow me to email my members. Other than that, I have no complaints.

I love you guys! I love [sensitive content hidden]! Don't let that one go!!! She made my worries go away! I don't have one bad thing to say about GM. There have been 3 companies since I have been here try to make me change and NO WAY! I love the system and I love the people. Not going anywhere!!!
Pros: [sensitive content hidden] was great! She made all my worries go away and fast. I am so grateful she answered the phone! I just started at our gym 5 months ago and I have been so spoiled by GM. They customer service has been the best I have experience and I worked in customer service for over 22 years. I love you all. You are very lucky to have the people you have. They are on top of it!!
Cons: No cons! but I was on hold for 25 minutes before I spoke to her. I found out she was the only one working during that time. I felt bad. So maybe more employees on at the hour? But I was happy!!! I just worry other may not be as understanding?

Pros: The support team is amazing - updates are regularly done Easy to use and personalise Reasonable and worth it
Cons: Can't duplicate contracts - so having to manually do this for a lot of differnt contracts. Client facing app is not as modern as other platforms - but it works, so thats ok

We have worked with GymMaster for close to 6 years. Their ability to make their system meet our needs has been fantastic. We have individual memberships but aggregated billing on a monthly basis for linked members; events which allow us to send links to members to register; sign waivers, fill out questionnaires; and enter credit card information and more. While a learning process with some bumps along the way, GymMaster support was always there to help us make it work.
Pros: Help and support in solving problems and modifying software to meet our particular needs.
Cons: Product name; cannot use an iPhone or iPad to connect a swiper for cc; POS does not allow for bill of material (cocktails with multiple ingredients) or multiple products pulling from same inventory (12 ounce or 16 ounce pours from a keg).

Terrible. The point of sale app is very difficult to use and I’ve had nothing but problems and looking stupid in front of people with menus that make no sense, screens, clicks, and absolutely useless payment selections. A client can’t even pay with a card. Can you please just make it easy to add other cards for a one time use for point of sale?
Pros: I can’t think of anything I like in particular.
Cons: How difficult can it be to simply charge a customer for a sale? I have 6 *useless* options to charge a client such as cash, voucher, and check, and none of the 6 options to charge a client includes charging their debit or credit card. ??? This is beyond frustrating and baffling, can I please just simply charge a client without 10 screens and clicks and menus please good god.

Pros: The software is very customizable and works well. The support team is very quick to respond to any issues or questions. There are constant updates and improvements.
Cons: It can be tricky to set up due to how many options there are, but that's also what makes it so valuable long-term.

I really can't say enough good things. The software is easy to use and makes running the business so incredibly easy. Everything being in one place saves me hours of work every week. Their customer service is incredible. Every single time I've called, the person I've spoken with has been so kind and helpful. They have always dealt with any problems I've had fairly quickly and kept in contact with me throughout the process. I really don't know how I would run my business any other way!
Pros: AMAZING customer service, easy to use software, easy to scale software as business grows

Overall, this is a good app for a big gym with hundreds of members to manage the gym. It would be very hard for my gym to manage the gym manually since the gym has quite a big membership.
Pros: $8c
Cons: This is a con that I realised for the gym class trainers. Sometimes some members book classes and fail to show up for the classes. This is bad especially if someone else who actually wanted to attend was locked out. But this is not really a problem caused by the app. It's more of human issue than an app issue. Another suggestion for the app is let them provide us a way for the gym members to interact. This would provide a good platform for us to make friends in the gym.

Pros: The easy of us that Gymmaster provides is hard to beat. Other systems seem incredibly bulky. With Gymmaster we are able to run our membership system with ease. New hires learn the system in minutes.
Cons: Being in the west coast of Mexico, sometimes there is a slight lag with communicating with the team in NZ. However it is nothing that is of extreme importance since we almost never need assistance from the Gymmaster team. The system is highly intuitive and easy to use! No complaints!

Love all the features that gymmaster provides (billing, email reminders, check-in etc)
Pros: The dashboard, the reminder emails that are automatically sent for payment reminders, the check-in logs and more
Cons: Not being able to use other credit card processing companies besides the ones listed in order for the billing to work.
