Overall, it does not appear to be up to the mark as compared to Athena Health or Simple Practice.
Pros: It is user-friendly in some aspects. All important tabs are within reach.
Cons: Ordering labs is too complicated. The user Cannot sync the calendar. Hovering near side tabs automatically opens them even if you did not directly click on it.

I am happy with using NEXUS EHR. I have had a positive experience with both the system and the staff.
Pros: Nexus EHR is easy to understudy and navigate. The tabs are easy to find and easy to use. The team of experts that handle the program are very professional and easy to reach. Sunil and his amazing team are very accessible, and they make my job easy. And they are just a phone call away.
Cons: Sometimes the system can have a delayed response of not more than 5 mins. I have not had any major issues with this system.

Our experience with Nexus EHR has been refreshing and wonderful!! [sensitive content hidden] has done an amazing job working with us from the very beginning. He and his key team members have been there for us when we have questions, problems or just need to brainstorm an issue The software continues to grow and develop to meet the needs of the EHR world, including maintaining certification. We feel extremely fortunate to work with such a strong group of professionals who truly understand what we are doing in our specialty, private practice setting.
Pros: Perhaps the single greatest feature that we love about Nexus EHR is our ability to personalize the software program to meet our individual provider and specialty practice needs! It has been amazing! In addition, the prompt response time from [sensitive content hidden] and the entire support team when issues or concerns do arise, has always been above or beyond our expectations. Honestly, we have the sense that we are their only client, which of course we know is not the case! We couldn't be happier.
Cons: It would be helpful if the Communication Task windows could be moved around on the computer screen by the user so that they could see other information on the Medical Summary page without having to undock the patient's EHR file. Adding the patient's date of birth, MRN and possibly the phone number to the Task Heading would also be very helpful.

Overall it has been a positive experience.
Pros: Easy to use. The system is dependable. Interfaces well with our practice management system.
Cons: Does not have a configuration with zoom. Sending labs is somewhat difficult. We cannot see what has been texted to the patient.
Janet N. · Office Manager · Medical Practice · October 25, 2024
I highly recommened Nexus Clinical. It is easy to use, customizable, reasonably price and the team is always available to help.
Pros: There response time is for any issue is usually within 2 hours. My representative [sensitive content hidden] is amazing, he takes his time to explain everything and always willing to jump on a video call to navigate the system.
Cons: Searching for a diagnosis can be a little time consuming but once you become familiar with how the diagnosis are worded, it becomes easier.
Schani M. · Nurse Practitioner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · October 7, 2024
Overall, Nexus provides and easy to use software we love using.
Pros: I like how user-friendly it is and how considerate Nexus support considers software add-on requests. I love how user-friendly the templates are to create and edit.
Cons: We had issues with the QRDA III Reports generated provided for MIPS reporting as well from time to time we find Nexus runs slow with no explanation from the Nexus Support team. This usually resolves the same day.

We had them write a custom Paywall for patients to pay immediately before entering Google Meet for Telehealth sessions
Pros: The nexus clinical team are knowledgeable and helpful!

Michelle B. · Practice Manager · Medical Practice · September 24, 2024
Great and once customization for our clinic was complete, it has been a breeze with no hiccups. No dropped signals.
Pros: Simplicity without loss of functionality. All features our clinic needs are there.
Cons: None. Maybe sometimes online help chat is delayed in response. But we can always call directly.
Thomas A. · CEO · Medical Practice · September 24, 2024
Overall, experience is pretty good. I like the ability to customize Nexus.
Pros: Nexus is a very simple EHR and user friendly. We have older staff who are not very comfortable with computer programs and have been able to easily navigate this system.
Cons: I feel that there needs to be a way to better document certain parts of an encounter and patient visit other than entering it in a note or in a task. There could be a few changes made to better accommodate for every day patient care and treatment plan.
Malanna J. · GENERAL SUPERVISOR · Medical Practice · September 17, 2024
Pros: User friendly format for completing notes
Cons: The rollout has been slower than I anticipated. I started using the product before the preferences I sent in were even uploaded.
Sarah T. · Nurse Practitioner · Hospital & Health Care · September 6, 2024
Very Good, we are able to learn more and more as time goes.
Pros: It is a convenient app, with several features that help establish a successful/ easy-going healthcare. Patients' managements/ being able to share documents with them.
Cons: It is slightly difficult to manage with a small clinic, since there are so many features.
Cintia C. · DNP, FNP-BC, NP-C · Hospital & Health Care · August 28, 2024
using this software will allow you to spend more time with your patients.
Pros: The system is very easy to use. There is nothing to dislike about the system. Customer support and training are top notch, it feels like an in-house team. If there is something that needs to be added to the system, the team will work on it and make that happen. Charting is another very feature of this software.
Cons: there is nothing to dislike about this software
Guerda J. · Nurse Practitioner · Medical Practice · April 1, 2022
Our company has been a customer of Nexus Clinical for over 4 years and we are very satisfied.
Pros: Nexus is a very user friendly software. It is very easy to upload documents and access them when needed. The fax option is very nice as well. This saves on paper and the documents received can easily be filed into patients charts. The physicians in the practice find it very easy to enter patient information and dictate notes.
Cons: There are only a few things that we can say that we do not like about this system. Isn't that with with everything? This software sometimes glitches from one patient to another. Lastly, some office staff have trouble pull up patients when other office staff do not. Its as if the system doesn't recognize that patient for that one employee but it does the other.
