It was horrible. They don't care about you as a customer. They did not respond to several email asking about why I can't save Indeed or LinkedIn profiles.
Pros: The Crelate Chrome extension is useless and does not work. When loading PDF files from LinkedIn, Crelate does not populate city. They do not follow up on support calls and emails. You also can't upload Indeed profiles to Crelate any longer. it seems Crelate has no developers. If they do have developers, they should hire a recruiter to hire better ones.
Cons: Support is horrible and worthless. The Crelate Chrome extension is useless and does not work. When loading PDF files from LinkedIn, Crelate does not populate city. They do not follow up on support calls and emails. You also can't upload Indeed profiles to Crelate any longer. it seems Crelate has no developers. If they do have developers, they should hire a recruiter to hire better ones.

Fair. Serves the purpose. We ended up moving to another platform with better customer service for our main CRM/ATS. Kept one Crelate Seat as recruiter was comfortable on it.
Pros: Very easy to use and modern interface. Simple to administrate. Simple to train on. Up to date on technology.
Cons: Customer Service and Billing are horrible. They do not have anyone to deal with issues other than virtual customer service that forwards to skeleton staff elsewhere.

We have not fully moved over to Crelate yet, but so far the implementation has gone well and we are looking forward to a long term relationship with Crelate. They were great at customization to make things work for us.
Pros: the customer service and the implementation went better than expected. They did a lot of customization to make it right for us.
Cons: Its too early to say as we are not fully on Crelate but so far we like the product and am looking forward to diving into the new system.
Londa B. · Director · Information Technology and Services · December 17, 2025
Overall, our experience with Crelate has been extremely positive. The system is user-friendly, offers a wide range of features and integration options, is competitively priced, and backed by a responsive support team. I would confidently recommend Crelate to any organization seeking an efficient recruiting solution.
Pros: Crelate has been an outstanding partner for our organization. From implementation through ongoing support, their team consistently responds to our needs quickly and efficiently. The software is intuitive and easy to use, enabling our team to double our recruiting and onboarding volume without adding additional staff. This level of growth simply wouldn’t have been possible without Crelate.
Cons: The only drawback we’ve encountered with Crelate is that its databases are segmented, meaning you can only generate reports from one table at a time (Contacts, Placements, Opportunities). However, our organization was able to overcome this limitation by integrating Power BI, making it a non-issue for us.

Overall experience is just like I have said in the Pros section. It has been great. We trialed dozens of other ATS systems and after that came back to just loving Crelate.
Pros: Customer Support. Customization. And the general ease of use of Crelate. At the very least I know if I face an issue, [sensitive content hidden] is a simple call away. She will always step in and help.
Cons: There are a few features in terms of automation that could be improved. I say that, but every time I have used an automation tool it does as much damage as it saves time really.
Taylor D. · COO · Civil Engineering · December 12, 2025
Very seamless transition from our previous ATS - customer support is very helpful, especially as you move from one ATS to Crelate. Our Customer Success Manager ([sensitive content hidden] ) is always available for assistance!
Pros: Very user friendly and customer support it top-notch! I like that we can tailor Crelate to fit our Work Flow.
Cons: Still learning how reporting works - but I'm getting there! I would like to be able to set up internal group emails for distribution.
Neal O. · Director of Operations · Staffing and Recruiting · December 12, 2025
Overall crelate makes life easier for recruiters to manage database in an efficient manner. Duplicates can be resolved in an instant.
Pros: Recruitment data can be organized depending on their progress. Customizing depending on your needs like specific companies and job postings. Definitely worth the price. Logos or marking for the milestones achieved by the candidate like during interviews we can leave comments and notes. It also secures login sessions are one at a time.
Cons: Modernization of the interface. Right now, crelate looks traditional. They need to add integration with other enrichment tools.

The Process from Sales to Onboarding and Training was all done with highest regard for customer care, timeliness, accuracy and responsiveness.
Pros: The Process from Sales to Onboarding and Training was all done with highest regard for customer care, timeliness, accuracy and responsiveness.
Cons: The inability to change Pik List options after data was migrated. It would be a helpful tool to be able to update.
Brian B. · President · Staffing and Recruiting · July 24, 2025
Pros: I really appreciate how expansive it is. Its yet to lack a feature that I needed. I really liked working with Lauren. She is great!
Cons: I really dont know what to say. It worked very well and we were satisfied. There are always gonna be some growing pains moving from one system to the next but Crelate is overall great.
Bennett R. · REcruiter · Human Resources · June 5, 2025
Excellent service and migration process and the project folks ensuring that all tasks were done (by us and them) on time. Our consultant, [sensitive content hidden], was simply amazing!
Pros: The customer service and assistance from the Product Consultant, [sensitive content hidden] throughout the process. She saved us hours of headache with her expertise and excellent training.
Cons: The inability to convert a type of job to another type of job (like non timekeeping to timekeeping) without starting over.
Trish B. · Owner · Staffing and Recruiting · June 4, 2025
Very good. Perhaps Crelate can update its platform for the interview process, notes and stage of process with a spreadsheet using drop downs in the cells. This would make things simplified, and everything is in front of the user.
Pros: The ability to post jobs on several platforms.
Cons: It's easier for me to use and excel spreadsheet to name candidates, job orders, stage in the interview process and notes. It's easier and the spreadsheet with all information is in front of me.

My overall experience with Crelate was great!
Pros: Crelate is a powerful and feature-rich platform with a lot to offer! While I initially had some difficulty navigating the software (due to my own learning curve), I found that customer support was readily available and handled my concerns expeditiously. Their responsiveness made the learning process much smoother. The platform itself is robust and well-designed for managing workflows efficiently.
Cons: One consideration for new start-ups is that the cost may be a bit high; however, the value it provides can justify the investment for businesses looking for a comprehensive solution.
Nicole W. · CEO · Staffing and Recruiting · February 3, 2025
A fellow recruiter recommended Crelate to me, and it has been great for my business. It’s streamlined my recruiting processes and helped me grow this vital part of my small business. The platform’s quality and efficiency have been invaluable, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone in the recruiting field.
Pros: Crelate is an powerful tool for recruiters. The platform is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to learn and navigate compared to other options. The LinkedIn plug-in is a great, allowing for quick data transfer. Plus, the customizable dashboards provide excellent flexibility and help keep everything organized at a glance.
Cons: There’s very little to critique. The only minor drawback is that you need to be logged into Crelate to see when a new message arrives.
Anonymous User · President · Management Consulting · January 22, 2025
I run a small full cycle technical recruiting agency and have used Crelate for years, which has been exceedingly more powerful than other ATS software I have used in the past. Their mass data imports and 3rd party software integrations from job boards to email/phone/text automation is best in class. Crelate support is also the fastest and most helpful I have experienced as well, which helps eliminate any downtime.
Pros: Crelate has a great high volume data import ability and runs seamlessly with most 3rd party applications which eliminates repetitive administrative tasks. Most importantly, their powerful search functions when combined with email/text/phone call automation tools is the key to run a full desk twice as fast.
Cons: Data exports are raw zip files and need to be combined after download.
Charles B. · Recruiting Manager · Staffing and Recruiting · January 13, 2025
Stressing and frustrating, I have to learn the system myself and solved all the issues on my own. I am currently having new issues and there is no personal customer support.
Pros: Besides the appearance, that was it. The tabs on the left and at the top were very self explanatory, everything beyond the Home Screen got complicated with confusing training and outdated videos.
Cons: Poor customer support. There is no one to speak with whenever you call, leaving a message does not get a follow up and if it does the minimum time is 48 hours later. The chat robot keeps sending references that do not help to solve the problem, During the training courses the instructor normally talks around your questions or give a political answer.
Cornell D. · Recruiter · Airlines/Aviation · December 23, 2024
Great! Their tech support team is incredibly responsive and provides quick updates tailored to our requests. The CRM is great if you're looking to track applicants, post jobs, screen talent, as well as provide robust options to create a sales funnel.
Pros: Internal tracking of all related activities for candidates and companies.
Cons: Mobile application does not display as much information compared to the web portal. Viewing a resume requires you to download the file on the mobile app.
Kyle C. · Account Executive · Human Resources · November 26, 2024
Great, pleasant all the way from the sales to the set up.
Pros: I was torn between Crelate and another ATS and I wish I would have gone with Create from the beginning. Unfortunately I went with the other ATS that had so many features and not a streamline way of usage that it was hard to use all of the features available. Crelate offers many great features AND they are user friendly. Starting with Crelate would have been a game changer.
Cons: It would be great if there was an extra check in call after a month or so (even if it needs to be paid for) just to make sure everything is flowing correctly. It's nice that there is one after you switch over but sometimes questions come up after you have been in the flow of using the system more. My main reason for going with the other ATS at first was because they had similar prices but offered more users. Having a feature where I could have had a part time or admin access for a smaller cost would have probably stopped me from going to the other ATS in the beginning.

Phenomenal product. I couldn’t do my work without it. Saves time and easily uploads and stores all information you need to be successful.
Pros: Literally everything. It’s essential for any recruiter. Easy to use. Clear and intuitive user experience.
Cons: That I pay out of pocket for it myself but it’s ok. It’s worth it :)
Joanna N. · Recruiter · Staffing and Recruiting · November 12, 2024
Amazing updates, each one better than the last. Their help desk is great a getting back to you in a timely manner, and escalating if they can't figure it out right away. Having the option to submit feedback and then voting on which items to prioritize for fixes or improvements is a great community experience. The webinars are nice refreshers or nice teaching tools.
Pros: Ease of Use Customization Searchability Helpful and fast customer service
Cons: Limitations on charts Lack of some organization on columns
Carolina D. · Senior Sales Operations Analyst · Staffing and Recruiting · November 11, 2024
Like any software, it takes some time to figure out but it is very intuitive and well-organized. Some things with it are surprisingly not great, like the font and spacing when you send emails from within crelate. The onboarding was as bare bones as it gets, other companies do a 1000 times better with their onboarding and account management/customer support. I think Crelate knows that their product is better so they bank on that. It seems like they are trying to get better with the customer experience. If they could perfect the customer support and onboarding side of the business it would be a home run, no one would be able to come for them. They charge you to get the support that you need so you should evaluate that with the price. There are a lot of upcharges for functionality which some make sense and some seem like a stretch. You will NEVER be able to get a person on the phone and the bot system they use will test your patience to say the least. Again the product itself is excellent though.
Pros: The functionality of the software itself is excellent. Very intuitive and clean.
Cons: Onboarding and customer support (its getting better but definitely is the biggest challenge in their business model)
Anonymous User · owner · Human Resources · November 1, 2024
I am glad I switched from BullHorn to Crelate
Pros: It is easy to navigate and has some unique features such as easily updating your database when on LI
Cons: Can't easily access support if you have a quick question
Tanya C. · Owner · Information Technology and Services · October 28, 2024
I have used Crelate for several years with different clients, and it has met and exceeded my expectations.
Pros: User-friendly Highly customizable without being burdensome Inexpensive Good customer service Easy-to-view interface
Cons: Expensive to add more than one user Difficult to use own phone number for texting Can only allow access to one client for client portal Limited functionality of mobile app
Christian H. · Director of HR and Talent Acquisition · Mining & Metals · October 28, 2024
took a while for our team to get set up. But once we got going, our team is more streamlined with the use of crelate compared to other software that we used in the past.
Pros: the ease of the user friendly CRM program.
Cons: calendar is not as user friendly and does not sync calendar invites with link
Dave G. · President · Research · October 28, 2024
Overall positive. It works fine with LinkedIn/Recruiter.
Pros: I find it mostly easy to use, not much to complain about
Cons: Wish it would pull better data from LinkedIn, like location fields and such for easy sorting later without much manual entry
Ian A. · Recruiter · Logistics and Supply Chain · October 28, 2024
Great customer service. They genuinely aim to create a well-rounded, high-quality product.
Pros: It's a clean interface with an efficient workflow. The search features are robust, and tools like emailing and texting integrate seamlessly within the product. I also like how companies, positions, and contacts are interconnected.
Cons: They need to improve the workflow and usability to better support recruiters, account managers, and salespeople. Not that is bad but just needs updating.
