Pros: I work in sales, and it's great to have an alternative to the same boring email. With Hippo Video, I can provide something compelling to open and watch. It also provides a special way to communicate to new customers, to personally thank them for their business and tell them about next steps.

Cons: It takes a lot of clicks to attach an email.

Pros: We have integrated personalised video flows into our CRM process, allowing us to produce personalised videos at scale. This was a key differentiator from competitors and has worked as expected. The support from the team is very good. Anything in setup or queries that come up start in live chat and are either resolved fairly quickly or anything requiring additional support was regularly and clearly communicated about. I was even having trouble getting the final step of personalisation into my CRM flow and I had a call with product team providing immediate guidance and advice.

Cons: A couple of the team have had minor issues with the likes of the desktop app (vs Chrome extension) but regular updates helped fix these. Support were also proactive in providing assistance and updates.

Pros: So easy to use, not complicated but feature rich.

Cons: Nothing and I really like the branding and GUI

Pros: Its easy to use, it allows me to create ittle videos for my client efficiently and quickly

Cons: I dont see any cons to be honest, for what I use it for, its great

Pros: I like that I can record videos on any browser or machine due to the easy app and Chrome extension support. Using the edit feature, I can edit the video quickly and this improves my productivity.

Cons: Everything is great with hippo video product.

Pros: I like the way I can brand the pages to look really sharp and switch out page elements easily without having to create something new on my website.

Cons: I was using the Brave browser (Chrome-based) and it will not work on that. It was annoying to have to switch browsers since all my work was in the other browser.

Pros: Works well, easy to utilize, easy to deploy to users.

Cons: Have not found an issue thus far with the platform.

Pros: I have come to like the way the interface is designed. It is a very high quality tool and one that is very robust too

Cons: Nothing, I really like the tool. It has been game changing for us

Pros: I like the capability to create 1:1 introductory videos with ease and customize an accompanying landing page. This has made it super easy for our CSMs to create personalized introduction videos going to their assigned accounts. We also liked the ability to create video hubs to easily share curated resources with specific accounts.

Cons: I think the new AI enabled features are very exciting but could use some polishing as they do not look very realistic. In addition, the team did experience some bugs while utilizing the features above. However, the Support team at Hippo were very responsive and helpful in troubleshooting.

Pros: At first, it was easy to use and free

Cons: It wouldn't always load and I couldn't find the controls

Pros: I like that they added AI enabled avatar video creation. The avatars are mixed quality but it does speed up the video creation. I also like the ability to customize the landing pages.

Cons: Still a lot of manual process for bulk creation. Also, even though there is AI avatar creation, it would be great if there could be a way to customize the videos for each recipient. So, for "John", the video would be created using speech synthesis that addresses his name. Otherwise, each custom video created has to be manually created

Pros: It´s a great utility to make videos and promote yourself, by doing an introduction and explain your job role and by adding it for example in your email footnote, people can click on your Hippo Video link and se your presentation.

Cons: sometime i got lost and forgot how to go back, but i think it is because of my ignorance

Pros: I love being able to email video directly from Gmail.

Cons: I struggle to get people to reply to emails, but that is not a function of the platform.

Pros: First of all I like the fact that you can personalize a video message that is not a large file and know if the client has actually opened your email, watched your video, how much they watched, etc. It personalizes your messaging. I have had advertising agency clients mentioned they had never gotten a video message. Stood out when you need to stand out in a very crowded world. I titled my review Where is [sensitive content hidden] since I was trying to get in touch with a client and just couldn't get him to respond. With a humorous video that had me searching for him he responded within minutes of watching the video.

Cons: There are a ton of tools and they are trying to give you a great deal of them to do a wide variety of things. Though many I don't use there are times when it can be a little be of a challenge getting around to where I need to be on say the Sales Page.

Pros: The easeness of Hippo Video to create videos makes Hippo Video invaluable to anyone who has a remote job. The screen recording capabilities along with the option to record yourself on webcam are profoundly positive. I am able to communicate with my team in an effective manner even though we are thousands of miles away. I can also communicate with clients via screen recording videos...easily.

Cons: The customer support is really bad. However, once you get through it, you do not need to contact them anymore and you will be set up to use Hippo Video on your own.

Pros: An image is worth a thousand words so imagine a video! Make sure your customers or reach outs understand quickly and properly your product or service.

Cons: The look of the interface. Being able to move the location of the camera rectangle while recording.

Pros: ease of use for the team and easy for recipients to watch the videos!

Cons: some of the menu options are a bit confusing

Pros: Hippovideo is easy to use and deploy, has a lot of features and the support is quick to answer any question or solve any issue.

Cons: The video editor can be improved, but overall its a well balanced tool.

Pros: It just works! Prior to Hippo Video, I had another tool that 'allegedly' served the same purpose and it NEVER worked! I will admit there were some initial hiccups with onboarding; however, I am still in awe of how above and beyond the customer service team went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. There is a time zone difference between our countries. When I'm at the hospital for consecutive days, I, unfortunately, miss many emails and attempts at correspondence. This didn't stop the Hippo Technician who literally left a message with my office when he was not successful in reaching me by phone. I have never experienced customer service like that before. Very patient, very professional, high quality and just - I'm out of adjectives....it's just an outstanding product and team!

Cons: I have absolutely no complaints about the software.

Pros: After using the Free trial version for a while , I liked that the app is some kind of easy to use , easy screen recording and the videos is available to be downloaded

Cons: My personal concern with this software is about it's Web extension , repeated crashing specially with chrome extension which needed to solved and badly effects my experience as a usersecond , the free version isn't having too much features as the paid so needs to be developed a little bit

Pros: I really do use Hippo Video when I need to record whole desktop or an online meeting. This has been like that for from 2018 when I started to use it. Recording is easy and video storage quota is huge. With a Chrome browser and Hippo Plugin+online logging, the recording works 99% when you don't record more than 1hour.

Cons: Unfortunately long video recording somewhere about 90minutes are most likely to fail every time. This may be related to the HD full desktop recording, where the file size exceeds over one 1GB. Recording will stop and the file is lost or corrupted. This issue has been there since from the beginning and the support team hasn't been able to fix it at all. So a full online training day is still impossible to be recorded, unfortunately.If I record 1+ hour recording, I can't stop it and instantly make a new recording because the browser is still sending data to database and then processing recording. Processing may take about 15 minutes, so you can't record continuously.
