Pros: CR is thorough for ABA. It allows users to upload reports and has a section for trainings. ABA coworkers found it easy to collect data. Scheduling was rather easy with it as well.
Cons: It's a bit clunky for ST and OT though, not as user friendly. The notes sections were editable making it more user friendly but it always seemed to take longer to complete and submit notes for OT / ST. Training to use CR took so long! Finding items and editing the site for personalization simply was not user friendly for non techies.

Over all it's a decent software that has room to improve. I wish I could meld it with other software to combine preferences and improve client data collection.
Pros: I liked the data collection page and methods to collect data. I also like how you can view the graphs as you're collecting data. I did like the ability to structure the session note.
Cons: I did not like the method to add and manage new goals. It's very tedious and difficult to understand if you're not fully trained on it. Adding and removing appointments was also tedious.

I would say I like CentralReach. Representatives have been great most of the time. Putting in a ticket is slow to get things resolved. I used to be able to call and get things done right away. I have been using CR for over 12 years now, and I like to think I gave them some good ideas in the beginning. Just very expensive for us.
Pros: CentralReach is great to have everything in one place, such as data collection, onboarding paperwork, timesheets, billing, claims, invoicing, trainings, etc. Haven't been able to find another platform that has all of this.
Cons: The cost of all the add-ons is a bit much. Also, having to pay that for each employee when only certain ones use a feature. Very expressive for a small company like mine. Not a fan of the app and their checklists. Lastly, it's annoying that they don't connect with all the other platforms we use.

Positive overall experience, would recommend to others in similar fields.
Pros: Ease of use, navigation was fairly intuitive, able to communicate internally.
Cons: Was difficult to navigate from a cell phone, some functions worked better on a desktop.

My overall experience with Central region has been really good, really user-friendly and really easy to grab a hold of it
Pros: What I like about Central, which is that is a software that has only information and it’s really useful, friendly, including the mobile app to just take data or just to have information as an HR admin, it’s a really good and forward software to make everyone’s life easier and it doesn’t matter if it’s from the clients’ end or company’s
Cons: As good as it is, what I like the least about reach is how general it can be, and how specific permissions cannot be provided

Fine for the minimal amount I use it now. We ended up setting up a second EMR for the Speech and OT providers to document in, and only upload the necessary documents into CR. I mostly use CR Calendar, and convert notes-> billing weekly visits. But it works well for the ABA staff, unless it is being glitchy.
Pros: This system supports our clinic's ABA documentation and data collection nicely.
Cons: This system does not support creating Speech, Or OT Evaluations and documents - those were written in Word/ Docs and copy/ pasted in when we used CR for documenting purposes. Also the calendar feature is too rigid, not easy to create or change appointments at all, or to see when other providers have appointments with shared clients (ON the calendar).

Pros: The ease of use to different staff levels.
Cons: Constant crashing initially in my experience.
Julia H. · RBT · Individual & Family Services · March 6, 2025
I utilize it daily and it is very feasible.
Pros: It is very versatile and personalizable.
Cons: It often lacks or restarts which requires us to lose data.

I have been using it for 3 years and definitely think it does a nice job overall for all the things I use it for in my day to day work. I have seen some other platforms for data collection and I do think CR is the best looking platform and does well overall
Pros: I like that is accessible on many different devices and is very versatile in its use. I can edit and change many settings to fit my needs.
Cons: It often logs me out while I am using it and will delete the data I have inputed within it. I also don't like that I can only be logged in on what device at a time. I often want to have it open on my tablet and laptop at the same time during work.

Overall I have had a positive experience using CentralReach
Pros: What I liked most about CentralReach is the ease of use.
Cons: What I like least about central reach is when it crashes and does not save data.
Sadie N. · RBT · Child Day Care Services · February 17, 2025
It was better towards the end of my experience with central reach.
Pros: With the new update my last company was able to afford the Ai generator. It made it easier to write notes in time.
Cons: Before the update it was hard to write notes on time and it glitched a lot kicking myself and other coworkers out of the note before saving it.
Alysia L. · Registered Behavioral Therapist · Hospital & Health Care · February 16, 2025
Overall it was good, I would use them again but I prefer our current platform
Pros: I liked features that it included such as having all platforms within one and the option to pull reports
Cons: The data platform was not as easy to use. Setting up a profile was very tedious and bulk copying targets were also tedious
Ashley A. · BCBA · Health, Wellness and Fitness · February 14, 2025
Pros: Being able to individualize prompts, user friendly, calendar/ session notes were user friendly to complete
Cons: Not being able to track data when not connected to wifi
Makenzy B. · BCBA · Mental Health Care · February 7, 2025
Pros: That everything as a therapist was in one place. I was able to review data, plans, graphs, and be able to assist with reassessments and other things at ease.
Cons: The cost, was per therapist which adds up quickly if each client as 2 therapists.
Kelly G. · RBT · Mental Health Care · February 6, 2025

Angela B. · BCBA · Individual & Family Services · January 20, 2025
Overall we have had a positive experience. We are considering the payroll options with CR.
Pros: I appreciate the system is easy to use and pretty straight forward.
Cons: I dislike that calendars do not reflect converted changes. Some features for management are difficult to manuver.
Maria F. · COO · Mental Health Care · December 10, 2024
It's been much better the past year with less down time.
Pros: It's an all-in-one system so it's easier to search for everything.
Cons: The maintenance where system down is inconvenience. The utilization module is not as accurately calculated. Some functions are not working as intended.
Michelle N. · BI Director · Mental Health Care · December 9, 2024
Experience is very nice, interface is very easy to navigate.
Pros: Easy to navigate, ang after sales is great too.
Cons: There are updates that they roll out recently that did made my experience hard. I hope they roll back filtering system.
Birdem L. · Team Leader · Medical Practice · December 5, 2024
I like a practice management software as opposed to everything on paper like it was before 2021. The software is easily scalable as the business grows.
Pros: Integration of different aspects of ABA therapy and business
Cons: RBTs complain about it not being easy to prepare and convert notes at sessions
beth g. · owner manager Behavior Analyst · Mental Health Care · December 5, 2024
Good features, nice customer service, addition of AI will be helpful
Pros: Multiple functions in one SaaS as well as desktop and mobile capabilities.
Cons: Outage and errors are problematic. Desktop and mobile features not always the same or compatible.
Destini K. · COO · Mental Health Care · December 4, 2024
I have always had a good experience. Whenever I need assistance, someone always gets back to me quickly. They have an answer and instructions!
Pros: Central reach is more intuitive than other software.
Cons: I will forget how to do something that I do not have to do often but...I can go to the help site and typically find the answer. I can also save the instructions easily for the next time I forget!!!
Anonymous User · Director, Behavior Analytic Services · Medical Practice · November 24, 2024
The system is user friendly - Both employees and clients can use the system to keep track on the progress and communicate - Employee can convert notes of session easily. Set up is easy. Integrated with insurance company for easy reimbursement' Some reporting may be tricky. With the constant support and changes this platform is a good option
Pros: Customer service is amazing as you have your own manager attach to your account- Always improving to make client experience easier- Robust learning platform for ABA industry. The learning platform is growing and adapting to client demand.
Cons: The help SOP are not always up to date-Agent send them over and you have to reach back until you can get help. Scheduling AI at a starting point program- We have not save time yet with this additional tool. Reporting and tracking in the Learning platform is weak, Making it hard to follow progress on the learning side.
Carole M. · Operation Manager · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 21, 2024
I am a big fan and encourage all autism therapy practices to consider CR first. If you have a very straightforward model in a small practice and every client gets the same program, there may be simpler options out there. But if you individualize care and offer a variety of treatment models and therapies, CR has a lot to offer.
Pros: Amazing customer support - best of any tech platform I've ever used! Extremely comprehensive and customizable to a variety of practices and service models. Best suited for ABA but also functions well for other billable services including speech/OT, counseling, and diagnostic evaluations.
Cons: It requires a substantial investment of time and energy to set up optimal customizations and document your own unique organizational workflows. If you do that, it is very powerful - but if you don't, it can be overwhelming or you would just be missing out on many of its great features.
Aaron B. · CEO · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 20, 2024
We have worked with CR for over ten years and have been successful in many ways. We use the system to many aspects of our day to day operations. I would highly recommend CR to others!
Pros: I really appreciate the support I receive from the Central Reach team. There has been a lot of growth and new features and they are always there to walk us through the steps and hiccups.
Cons: As with most technology, there are some errors or glitches that occasionally affect our workflow.
Jesseca H. · Director of Clinical Operations · Mental Health Care · November 20, 2024
My overall experience was honestly great.
Pros: Central reach allows you to have everything in one place. I used it at a former employer and absolutely love it.
Cons: There were a lot of changes and updates and sometimes they werent the easiest to adjust to.
