ClinicSource was okay in the beginning. I chose it because I had previously used it at other job sites. It was less than exceptional. The price increased approximately $5/month, but there were no updates to the system. They charge for every extra service.
Pros: I liked the accessibility to speech language assessment templates, goals, and reports that were available.
Cons: The billing process for the subscription and how previous payments were still stored in their system even after new ones were assigned. The lack of communication within the company after services had been canceled. I was charged at least 3x for services that had been cancelled and confirmed via email. The lack of personalization with documents and also the site itself. No mobile app option available.

Pros: Integrated software, billing, clinical documentation, scheduling. Good marketing. Friendly staff, good onboarding.
Cons: Not suited for Behavioral Health providers. This software added a significant amount of work in managing the practice.

Really terrible experience. It would be one thing if they cared / were trying at all, but they clearly just were wanting to raise prices and milk users for every last dollar. Even when we had decided to leave, they tried to hold our data hostage.
Pros: Clinic Source was better than hand written notes. Allowed us to digitize our legacy hard copy - driven practice.
Cons: Customer Service just didn't care! We asked for basic help and it took forever. Clearly not focused on speech therapy / SLPs (or OTs / PTs either).

Appreciate its integration of treatment plans with session notes, customizable templates, and detailed user permission controls
Pros: ClinicSource has received positive feedback for its user-friendly interface and customization options.
Cons: There have been complaints about difficulties in accessing backup data after contracts end

It served its purpose for the time I needed it. It was frustrating to have to 'email' the families their tx notes. I did not like the simplicity of it as it didn't have any bells and whistles.
Pros: I didn't like it. But the only good thing was it was cheap.
Cons: I didn't like that forms had to be created. I didn't like that it was basic and unprofessional look of it.

Negative. My experience, from a billing perspective, has been awful.
Pros: Absolutely nothing. Especially from a billing perspective, this app makes no sense.
Cons: Very slow, times out in the middle of posting payments/adjustments, times out while therapists are writing notes, no ledger for billing, you can write a note in a payment, but can't run a report for the notes. ClinicSource, from a billing perspective, is the worst software I have ever worked with.

I used ClinicSource as a novel clinician. ClinicSource was the first EMR system I used. At the time, ClinicSource was efficient; however, once I used a different EMR system, I realized how much I disliked ClinicSource.
Pros: ClinicSource provided an easier overview of daily appointments and check-ins and cancellations.
Cons: Data collection on ClinicSource was not user friendly. It did not provide sufficient viewpoints of the data and therapists had to calculate the percentages when completing progress notes and re-evaluations.

I became very efficient with it after working with it for a while. However, I utilized many self-learned shortcuts and learned to avoid things that would cause the system to struggle. The slowness and bugs that resulting in lost documentation/time were very frustrating. Overall, I enjoyed the calendar/schedule interface but was frustrated by the slowness of the system and how it slowed down documentation.
Pros: The ease of managing and viewing the schedule, finding basic patient information for quick contact, referring physician information, and tracking authorizations from the calendar. I liked the readily available text boxes and how easier they were to use along with the "copy forward" option.

Overall I was required to use it through my company and there were certainly aspects that could’ve used improvement.
Pros: The scheduling aspect of it. It allowed me to see my schedule for an entire week and I thought the display was helpful.
Cons: ClinicSource could be difficult to navigate at times. It was not very intuitive to use.

ClinicSource is a fairly good product. They have a lot of add-ons that we don't use because of the price. I think that it requires a lot of start up work to get going. The platform itself goes down/lags not infrequently. It makes things take a long time.
Pros: From an administrative perspective, I like that ClinicSource scheduling is super easy. Moving appointments is just a click and a drag. Also, setting up different kinds of appointment is easy.
Cons: Getting clinical documents OUT of ClinicSource is clunky & cumbersome and time consuming. They do not provide Zip file downloads, so clinical docs must be downloaded (converted to PDF) 30 records at a time. It's awful.

Things started out ok, but as our practice began to grow in volume, we did not feel that ClinicSource had the features we needed for optimal functions and operations.
Pros: The documentation and report writing were very streamlined and easy for clinicians to use.
Cons: There was disorganization on the billing and patient accounting features. It was difficult to track, post, and assign insurance payments.

Technical issues that made documentation cumbersome, below average customer service experience, high pricing. Scheduling layout is intuitive.
Pros: User-Friendly Interface: intuitive design, which simplifies patient data entry, scheduling, and billing processes. Customizable Templates: tailored to various therapy disciplines, including pediatric occupational therapy, helped make documentation more efficient.
Cons: Pricing is higher compared to other software options, which can impact smaller practices especially. Technical issues: We had a lot of issues with slow loading, especially when multiple tabs were open. This stopped happening once we switched to Fusion. Contractual Commitments: Contractual obligations attempts to lock users into a service

Experience was hit and miss, but mostly misses.
