My overall experience with Guesty has been positive. It has made managing multiple properties and bookings much more organized by bringing everything into one platform. The automation features have been especially useful, saving time and improving guest communication.However, the system can be complex at first, requiring time to fully understand and set up properly. There have also been occasional minor glitches. Despite this, once everything is running smoothly, it becomes a reliable tool. Overall, Guesty has helped streamline operations, improve efficiency, and support the growth of my short-term rental business.
Pros: What I liked most about Guesty is how it centralizes every aspect of property management into one easy-to-use platform. Managing bookings across multiple channels becomes seamless with synchronized calendars, automated messaging, and organized task management. It significantly reduces manual work and minimizes the risk of errors like double bookings. The automation tools stand out, ensuring consistent and timely communication with guests, which improves the overall experience. I also value the detailed reporting and insights, which help track performance and make informed business decisions. Overall, Guesty makes managing short-term rentals more efficient, professional, and scalable as the business grows.

It is a positive overall experience and has improved my ability to manage multiple properties on multiple sites.
Pros: Guesty has been very valuable in helping me manage multiple booking sites in one convenient location. Additionally, their customer service is quick to respond and has helped us solve problems smoothly.
Cons: It can take some getting used to all the different pages and options initially. As someone who isn't particularly tech savvy, it took a while to learn how to use the different features, and I'm still learning.

Adequate, the issue with connectivity still needs to be addressed esp with VRBO. The response time is great.
Pros: Quick response. If I have an issue I do get a thorough response back, the staff does give a detailed step guide on the connectivity issue.
Cons: Bugs and issues with connectivity. The software still has some issues and a couple of times I had to navigate cancelling a reservation because Guesty does not connect well with VRBO.

Overall very satisfied and looking forward to growing my business with the platform and all the future releases.
Pros: Ease of use, wide range of functionality and constant updates. The tools available in the PMS are as if you were a large operator so no matter where you are in your journey you will always be ready for that next level.
Cons: The Guesty Connect subscription which i was not aware of when i switched from Hostaway which i feel is just an very expensive added cost.

No real issues overall as AirBnB supports most of my short term bookings. I would recommend Guesty to new hosts for support.
Pros: "The platform is incredibly user-friendly across the board. I love having a centralized, all-in-one hub for communication, and the automated guest templates have streamlined my workflow significantly. Additionally, the seamless smart lock integration—which automatically generates a unique access code for every single guest—provides incredible peace of mind and makes check-in entirely hands-off."
Cons: However, there are a couple of areas that still require attention. VRBO continues to struggle with interfacing properly with the platform, which is a significant point of friction. Furthermore, navigating Booking.com within the system remains a bit of a mystery, and I would appreciate dedicated guidance from customer service to help optimize that specific channel integration."

Overall, our experience has been excellent. We’re very impressed with the platform and how it has supported our business operations so far.
Pros: Guesty has significantly increased our operational efficiency. It makes managing properties across multiple platforms seamless, and the onboarding process was smooth with excellent after-sales support. The automation features are particularly strong, helping streamline daily tasks, and the CRM and task management tools are well-designed and highly effective.
Cons: We’ve been using Guesty for the past six months and, so far, we haven’t encountered any notable drawbacks.

Support is really horrible and that's not acceptable when you're trying to run a business. I've added payment processing and their price optimizer and have lots of issues with both. It seems products are not properly QA tested before they go to market.
Pros: The integrations work well and the UX has improved over time. The rest of the platform is average at best. I would not use this as your PMS. Way too many issues and when you need support, you can't get a response.
Cons: I've been on Guesty for 4 years and have added their Pricing Optimizer and Payment Processing over that time. I currently have nearly $25k stuck in their payment processing that for some reason, will not payout to my associated bank account. Over the last 2+ days, I have contacted multiple support channels using their ticketing system, phone and chat. I talked with a support rep who said my issue would be escalated and....nothing. I've also reached out to our Account Exec via email, who did respond with a suggestion to contact another rep, and that rep has not responded. A software is only as good as it's support staff as sooner than later, you will have an issue. Guesty is not worth it.

For one of the biggest PMS platforms out there, not being able to fix a billing issue in 5 months is just not acceptable. Every time I reach out it feels like we are starting over. No real progress. Just the same "we are working on it." If you are a large operator considering Guesty, the product will do what you need. But if anything goes wrong outside of a basic support ticket, be ready to fight for it and still not get a resolution.
Pros: Guesty as a product is solid. The features are there and it works well for managing properties at scale.

Overall, the system is okay and usable, but it is missing several features that should be standard in today’s property management software. Many of these functionalities are essential for efficient operations. That said, the platform works well overall, but there is still room for improvement. Even small enhancements could have a significant impact on daily operations.
Pros: Guesty offers a wide range of distribution channels, which makes it easy to reach different platforms from one system. Adding new properties is straightforward, and the calendar overview is clear and helpful for day-to-day operations. There are still some features missing or not fully developed, but hopefully these will be improved over time.
Cons: Some important functionalities are missing. Tasks cannot be displayed in the owner portal at all, which limits transparency for property owners. It is also not possible to implement custom document or form templates. For example, check-in and check-out protocols cannot be digitally signed within the system, which is a significant limitation for operations. Additionally, some features promised during the sales process are not actually available or do not work as expected.

We switched from Guesty for Hosts to Guesty and received excellent support throughout the process. This made the switch quite easy, and we quickly found our way around the new Guesty platform. We had imagined it would be more difficult and were pleasantly surprised. It now almost completely meets our needs. We would just like a few more options in the calendar view. Overall, a solid solution that we can recommend.
Pros: It makes my daily work so much easier. I couldn't do without Guesty! Guesty is a mature solution that runs stably and that we can rely on.
Cons: We would also like the option to mark bookings with flags in the calendar, so that we can immediately see who has booked parking spaces. Another possibility would be to use color to differentiate the guests in the calendar.

Had a rough start but got supported thru and assisted to get it all right now runs really smoothly feel I am getting more bookings using the pricing option
Pros: Synchronisation, one place of all bookings, app so easy to use, customer support is good, feel secure in using the app. Training was really good
Cons: that vrbo does not work the same as bdc and abb and can’t cancel advance notice icon on the mobile app

Pros: I have been able to automate my processes to save me so much time. Easily links to platforms, cleaners software, owners portal and my website.
Cons: Training takes a long time, it took months. If there was less time between sessions this would be better.

Excellent, the use of Guesty Services has allowed us to obtain 5 star reviews the majority of time. The use of guesty Services has allowed us to handle a scaled up bookings that we wanted to achieve.
Pros: Customer response, they listen to us and then provide new services. Our representative is extremely knowledgeable and when she does not have The answer she will go get it for us or turn it into her staff to create a solution
Cons: Not sure there is much to dislike, cost is always an issue but the services provided seem to be in alignment with the value received

Pros: Guesty handles everything in one place, from guest messaging, door lock management, automated messages/reviews, listing management and much more!
Cons: Trust accounting module is difficult to understand so we are currently using a 3rd party trust accounting software.

Pros: What I appreciate most about Guesty is the daily summary, which clearly shows check-ins, check-outs, turnovers, and the total number of properties currently occupied. The calendar is also highly visual and intuitive, making it much easier to manage reservations efficiently.

It is a great tool and really love using it compared to other management tools which were complex to use, not easy to learn how to use.
Pros: Guesty is a great userfriendly tool. Easy to use. Great overview of the important tasks, reservations ahead.
Cons: I would love it to be a bit more flexible, like only apply a blockage the night after a reservation in a certain time period (like high season) and not low season. To be able to apply different cleaning rates (depending on the season as we can get cleaners less expensive off season).

9.5/10. I think it's the best PMS out there and I've worked with a lot of them. It has the most functionality, but some areas can still be refined.
Pros: The ability to have all my listings in one place, create owner statements, and accounting all in one place.
Cons: I think the accounting side could be improved, but overall it's way better than other platforms. I think AI could be used here to make the process easier for owner expenses, etc.

I have used Guesty for a couple of years now, transition was easy and their accounts management also provides industry updates and advice. The support team is responsive.
Pros: Customer Support, the team is lovely and always stay updated relating industry changes. There is always ongoing innovation and development to improve their product which is very important as the short term industry is heavily reliant on technology.
Cons: Pricing is not very competitive compared to other channels. However, it is fairly important to note that they do have a very broad range of services which makes the pricing fair for the service they provide.

overall a good experience. It's my first STR management platform and it feels like it does everything I need it to do.
Pros: responsive product, easy to see the calendar and make adjustments on the fly. Great owners portal, easy to upload documents for them to review.
Cons: You have to be tech savvy to understand the ins and outs of the platform. There is a lot going on, and it takes time going through it all and understanding where everything is.
